Always a solid choice for gf folks! Had their Brussels sprouts and the lemon herb salmon. Los of flavor in their seasonings and everything was cooked well.

Shrimp & Scallop Risotto

I've been to Cooper's Hawk plenty of times for wine tastings and have eaten there a few times as well. I usually go to the Tampa location, but I happened to be in Wesley Chapel and decided to stop by. In my opinion, the Wesley Chapel location is even better because it feels much more spacious and welcoming. I ordered the steak medium and it was perfectly cooked. It tasted great. My mom ordered the risotto and she really enjoyed it as well. The service was friendly. I also did a wine tasting with Vanessa, and she was the best. If you have the chance, I would definitely recommend doing your tasting with her. Overall, it was a great experience and I wouldn't mind coming back again if I'm in the area!

Gnocchi With Butternut Squash

We had a great experience at this location! It was a busy Friday night, however service was timely. I recommend making a reservation in advance. The food was incredible! The Over the Border Egg rolls are a must have appetizer. We tried the gnocchi with butternut squash, as well as "create your own surf&turf." I highly recommend the Parmesan crusted filet paired with the pistachio crusted grouper. Everything was cooked to perfection and the portions were a satisfying size.

I love coming here to Wine taste. They have so many options of great wines. Make sure to stop in and see Vanessa who is the best.

$22.99 The Prime

Friday afternoons at Cooper's Hawk could be my new go to activity on a Friday. Easily one of my favorite chain restaurants along with Yard House. This was my first time to the Wesley Chapel location and it's super similar to other Cooper's Hawks. Whenever I come, I always get the $17.99 brussels sprouts without even looking at the menu. And for my entre I now always get the $22.99 The Prime. I always get asked if I'm in the wine club, but I've never joined since I don't really like wine. There are TV's at the bar to watch sports. Tons of people come in and out of this place. When I was ready to leave the main entrance was packed with people taste testing various wines.

Perfect spot for a lunch date! Cozy, stylish atmosphere, great service, and delicious food. The wine selection is a nice touch and makes it feel a little extra special without being stuffy. Would definitely go back.

Sweet Corn & Tomato Risotto (vegan)

I am such a fan of Cooper's Hawk! I usually go to either this location or the one in Tampa. The Tampa location is a hair hit nicer in my opinion. This one always has an odd smell...almost like a dirty rag is used to clean the tables..? But aside from the smell, I have no complaints about this location. I usually order their chicken piccata (amazing); however, my most recent time there, I ordered their Sweet Corn and Tomato Risotto. I was thoroughly impressed with this dish and finished the entire meal. The staff there are always so nice and attentive! Quick to recommend a dish and ask if you need a refill! I'll be back!

We been coming since they open on Wesley chapel and we never had bad service or a bad experience. The staff is alway friendly and the food is always Good . Had dinner for my birthday with my husband and it was a wonder time and the food was delicious. My favorite is always the Ellie chicken piccata. I'm also member of the wine club and love it . They have delicious wine . If you have near I definitely recommend trying it. My husband enjoyed his prime rib sandwich . We also love the different appetizers .

We had a variety of appetizers that were all absolutely delicious. The service was great, and the ambience was lively!!! The Cooper's Hawk wine blend was my choice today, NOT disappointed!

This was like my third or fourth time coming and this was the worse meal I have ever had here every one else enjoyed their meal so I didn't want to seem too picky but thankfully I got my go to Brussel sprouts which were yummy per usual. My meal was cooked well just the combination was a little bit odd to me. My meal alone would have been a one star but as a whole I'll give this experience a 3 I'll try again next time. The service was really good and the ambiance was as well.

First time going to Cooper's Hawk. We went on Saturday for Brunch. My husband made a reservation for 12:30pm and we did the wine tasting before hand. We were told the wine tasting would take about an hr or more so we arrived at 11:00am. It was very busy. However, it didn't have a "rush" feeling. We didn't have to wait long going through each wine pour. The wine was great. We aren't even into drinking wine like that. It was a fun experience. When we were done with our tasting, we got seated right away. Our server was extremely kind. The food was beautiful and delicious. It is a nice establishment. I was surprised how casual people were dressed. You don't have to dress fancy but the place isn't Denny's. We plan on going again. It was a great experience. I tried to get photos where it looked like no one was there to show the aesthetics.

Over the Border Egg Rolls!! Must have app, you will thank me

Always a great experience! The egg rolls are one of my favorites! I had a free wine flight on my account and that was much better than expected.

I've been a wine club member for about two years now. I go regularly because the experience is consistently excellent. I always try to start with a wine tasting before dinner...it's such a great way to connect with friends or even for a first-date vibe you can break the ice. Every wine I've tried here has been good, even if it's not normally my preference. I tend to like sweeter wines, but the tastings always let me experience a great variety, and I've never been disappointed. The service is always exceptional. They truly make sure your glass stays full, encourage questions, and everyone I've interacted with is incredibly knowledgeable about the wines, which makes the experience even better. So try the wine! Tastings are reasonably priced and worth it. And for dinner, you really can't go wrong. The Drunken Shrimp is always a solid starter...everything is better with a little bacon lol. The soy ginger salmon may look simple, but it's packed with flavor and very satisfying. Every risotto I've tried has been rich, filling, and delicious. This place is classy yet comfortable, and the service is consistently attentive whether you're at the bar, at a table, or doing a tasting. I'm so glad they opened the Wesley Chapel location it's convenient for me to pick up my bottles and an easy go-to spot when friends or visitors are in town. I bring people here often because I know it will always be a great time!

Ask the Community - Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant

Is there a private dining room? How many does it hold?

I know there is a private dining room that can be reserved. If I had to guess, I'd say you could fit at least 40 people in there, but I would contact them directly to confirm.

How much is a wine tasting now?

I believe it was around 17 bucks per person.I could be out a dollar one way or other.

Is there outdoor dining?

Yes! :)

The atmosphere and clientele may feel very different from what some longtime Floridians expect. What stood out to me most was seeing so many women in hijabs, large family groups, and women sitting side by side deeply engaged in their conversations over coffee and desserts. As someone who has never visited a Muslim country, it was honestly a real culture shock for me. That said, the atmosphere felt warm, polished, social, and community-driven. People were relaxed, focused on their conversations, and genuinely present with one another instead of constantly looking around the room. It felt less like a quick coffee stop and more like a modern international gathering space. Florida keeps surprising me... and Sorbo gave me a glimpse into a side of modern American culture I simply haven't experienced before.

I didn't go in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic, was happy to get back in 2022...but the place had changed. There were very few beers on tap then, and the whole vibe was off in some hard-to-define way. It seemed dingier, dimmer, sadder. It even had a sort of weird, musty odor. I didn't return until I took a chance last week, right after Christmas--and the good Brass Tap back! The place was lively, well-lit, and while the tap list still isn't the monster from days gone by, it's nothing to sneeze at. (As far as I can tell, they have 30 taps; the Carrollwood location has 60, which is what I dimly remember at this location, too, last decade.) I don't know whether they had a management/ownership change in the interim, but it's a place I want to go back to again now. The Brass Tap doesn't serve food, and the BBQ place right next door that used to be run by the same folks shut down during the pandemic--but they have menus from Grillsmith, one of Wiregrass's other restaurants, there now. Unlike most beer-only bars, they've always had table service, and they've always been attentive. While it's a little too far for me to become a true "regular," it looks like a great place to go to with friends--or, if you're a misanthropic writer like me, to camp out with your laptop and have a couple beers while telling yourself you're working on a soon-to-be-bestselling novel.

It had mixed greens, salami, olive, truffle cheese and more. Great antipasto salad could have been a meal in itself. Had to go with a pizza. Campione del Mondo! Champion of the World known for it's "authenticity and originality". Pretty bold statement. Tested them on it. The proof was in the pizza! Sausage, grilled eggplant, basil reduction, topped with had grated ricotta! As advertised this was one of the best, unique pizza's that I've had! Excellent pours of Montepulciano and Pinot Noir went perfectly with the meal. Couldn't resist dessert. We decided to not go with the standards (i.e. cannoli, tiramisu, creme brulee, etc.) and I am so glad that we went with The Ricotta and Pear Cake and the Raspberry Almond Shortbread. Both were amazingly fresh and had the perfect balance of textures and tastes. Accompanying Cafe Americano and Espresso Doppio was excellent. Amazing bar, excellent server (Virginia), great ambiance. I especially am gratefully appreciative that the overhead music was 100% Italian themed which included Dean Martin and Louis Prima songs

I don't mind that but you should still come around more often. We drank the whole bottle of water before the food came. Waitress never came back around so I couldn't ask for more or she should have just done it. She spent a lot of time talking with other staff as we just waited for something anything to happen. Hope they get that under control but outside of that still a great place to go.

For example they offer three different kinds of vodka with Tito's being one of them. It's on the fourth floor of the hotel with a view of the western sky for sunsets along with the sports fields. We kiddingly said parents could sit up here with alcohol in hand and cheer on their kids way below on the field. Seating: inside they have bar seating with about seven chairs. There is a single TV at the far left of the bar (see pic), so this is not ideal to watch sports on TV. No sound or closed caption. Outside it is just plain hot this time of year until the sun goes down. They have fans but for some reason they weren't on and the temp was 95. There were a couple people sitting outside but they didn't last long. Around sunset I'm sure this is the place to be. There are multiple sofas and areas to sit outside. Also a large Jenga stacking block game is available to play. There are at least two larger TVs outside. The parking lot indicates parking should be paid for. There are numerous signs with giant QR codes to do this. Since we were only there for an hour to grab a single drink we didn't pay for parking. When there are large tournaments going on at the neighboring sports complex I'm sure the hotel does a better job at patrolling who parks at the hotel and maybe then expects parking to be paid for. Drinks: happy hour is from 5p (when they open) to 7p. There is no happy hour menu (this would be a suggestion to make things easier on both the bartender and the customer). We were there at happy hour so took advantage of $8 white sangria and $8 cranberry with house vodka. They also give 10% off to locals. They normally have cards they provide for future use, but the bartender indicated they ran out and were on order. Food: There is a few food choices, including a smash burger and appetizers. They also had a couple cake slices on special. We didn't eat so can't speak to quality or time before ready. Service was average. There was only one bartender at 5:30p on a Wednesday with no sports going on at the complex. We got our drinks fairly quickly. They were tasty but served in small cocktail glasses and not much alcohol. For happy hour discounted pricing this is commonplace. I will be back to try it again, hopefully for a sunset this time!
