As always everything is delicious!!! Crab soup is the best! Drunken shrimp! Medallions and mashed potatoes!! Churrasco was perfectly cooked.
Coopers Hawk is one of my favorite spots in Tampa and when they built the one in Wesley Chapel I was thrilled! Start with a wine tasting and then you can sit at the bar or high tops or the traditional dining room. The Brussel sprouts are a must, and I also got a special which had filet medallions and Parmesan crusted chicken. I love that their seasonal menu is always changing and that allows me to get different wines too. If you're with a large group get a bottle and they will pour it table side into a fancy decanter. They are always going to try to push you on the wine club, so be prepared for that. I've never joined but know plenty of people that have and they love it. Don't forget to look at the decanters and glasses in the shop on your way out!
Thank you to the colleague who recommended this restaurant. It was my first time trying the brand, and I went during lunch. The place was busy for a Thursday afternoon, and I wondered if it was lunch or happy hour. I grabbed a seat at the bar, and my service was nothing short of perfect. I was offered a great wine list, and did you know you have the option to become a member of their wine club? The energy was on 10, and so was the food. I ordered a lunch portion and it was just right!
Food, service and ambiance all amazing!! Dinner was so yummy. We got the summer dessert special to go. So worth it!!
Came here with my parents to celebrate my mom's birthday. They love Cooper's Hawk in Maryland and requested to come to this location during their visit. I was able to make snd modify my reservation on OpenTable. Very easy! Parking was plentiful in the private lot they offer. We checked in and were seated moments later. Our waitress was great! She was knowledgeable of the menu and of the wine. I ordered the Shrimp and Scallop Risotto. It we cooked and seasoned to perfection! Big pieces of shrimp and scallops throughout my dish. Mine ended up being 2 meals for me. Would definitely recommend and come back!
Extremely disappointing food and service experience on our anniversary dinner at Coopers Hawk in Wesley Chapel. My wife and I were looking forward to our 1st dining experience at Coopers Hawk for our 31st anniversary. Unfortunately both the food and service were extremely disappointing. My wife ordered the filet mignon: 8 oz. Filet, Steak Butter, Crispy Onion Strings, Grilled Broccoli, Choice of Side 46.99 and I ordered Ellie's chicken piccata Lemon Butter Caper Sauce, Capellini Pasta 26.99 We both ordered glasses of wine with the meal - my wife ordered a red wine and I ordered the white wine they recommended to pair with the chicken piccata Neither wine came before our meal. When our meal was brought, there was still no wine yet. The server who brought our meals to the table asked if there was anything else we needed and I said-yes-the wine we ordered to come with our meal. 15 minutes later after after meals were brought--still no wine This is unacceptable at any restaurant-but for an establishment such as Coopers Hawk that centers everything around their wines this is ridiculous. When the wine was finally brought over 15 minutes later after our meals were brought they actually still forgot to bring my wife her wine and only brought mine. I told the server that it was too late and we did not need it anymore. The server clearly saw when she brought the wine that we were well finished with our meals already but did not offer any apology up-front and only after I said that "its too late" did she offer to take the wine off the bill. She did offer that she could still bring my wife's wine out and still take it off the bill and also offered to let me keep my wine and also take it off the bill but the damage had already been done at that point as it was over 15 minutes since we received our meals Now onto the food itself-very disappointing. Although my wife's steak was cooked perfectly as far as the inside of the steak-the steak itself had little to no seasoning and had no char on the outside. Outside of those 2 things - the quality of the meat itself was also disappointing. To give you an idea - the quality of the filet itself was less than the filet you would get at a Longhorn's steak restaurant which charges about 29.00 compared to $46.99 here - so you would expect at the very least it would at least be equal (or should be better) quality beef than Longhorns but unfortunately it was worse. The Chicken Picatta on the menu clearly says "Lemon Butter Caper Sauce" there were plenty of capers on the plate but outside of 2 lemons wedges on the plate for show there was absolutely no lemon flavor whatsoever in the dish. The chicken was cooked very well and was juicy but there was virtually no seasoning on the chicken at all and there was zero (0) lemon flavor. So again extremely disappointing. The restaurant is upscale and very nice looking and has a vibrant social atmosphere but when the service is bad, the wine doesn't come with the meal (and that is the theme of the restaurant-the wine), and the food is this disappointing it all adds up to a very bad experience which unfortunately also occurred on our special occasion-our wedding anniversary
Food was overall good the braised beef arachini were on point and bursting with flavor. The service was very attentive at first but waned as the evening went on. The ambiance is always calm with a nice jazzy pop playing in the background.
Food was outstanding, server was very nice. The wine tasting was not as good as usual, super slow. It took over an hour to have my 8 tastings, I kept having to flag him down. Also, he poured my white, my sweets and my reds all in the same glass!!
Feel like the service has disappointed me the last few times I've been here. Coming here for a celebration, the don't really acknowledge it and it seems like they're always in a rush. Feel like things have really changed the last couple months.
We visit this restaurant often however this was our first time having brunch here. I had a sangria that was really yummy with the Hawaiian bread French toast and a side of bacon. The French toast was really good however the portion sizes was small in my opinion. The waitress seemed to be a little overwhelmed but she was nice at least. For some reason the floors were really slippery, I almost bit it twice. All and all I'm not sure if I'd indulge in the brunch again!
Came here again 2 years later but this time for a lunch. Made a reservation a day before. Place as always looks gorgeous inside and outside, plenty of parking during lunch time. Service was acceptable though, not great. Lady kept forgetting things for us. My friend wanted so coffee with non dairy milk and waitress didn't even know if they offer it, she had to go ask and said they do not. When we asked for tiramisu , she said we are likely out because we were out yesterday. But then she went to check and they indeed had it. How come she doesn't know what is on a menu. I had a grouper sandwich that was pretty good and side salad was pretty good. I asked for olive oil and vinegar and waitress again said she doesn't know if that possible. Which is the weirdest response. I didn't ask for anything unique. She then said they will do it and proceeded to bring me something different. Ambience is very nice and upscale, definitely one of the best places on the Wesley Chapel. Unfortunately the service wasn't great and I think it's time to offer non dairy options.
Stopped by for a wine tasting and enjoyed it. Loved the variety, they have something for everyone. Love the clean classy look on the inside. Good service. I would visit again.
Fun place to have a date night or that special celebration like a birthday, anniversary or graduation! Service is very nice and attentive! The wine pairings are an art form well mastered here! Ask your server to pair a wine with your meal and they won't let you down! Their bread service is very yummy pretzel bread fresh out of the oven!

Cooper's Hawk is one of my favorite restaurants, and as a wine club member, I had to come back and share a few favorites from the Chef's Selection featured menu! The Sweet & Crunchy Cauliflower was delicious and fried perfectly, not greasy, with a great crunch. The aioli and feta combination brought everything together, with just the right little kick. The Sticky Honey Lemon Cake with Balsamic roasted grapes was one of my favorite desserts I've had in a long time. Not too sweet, with the perfect balance of flavors. Definitely worth trying! As always great service, the best wine and tasting room. read more

Love Coopers Hawk! There is indoor and outdoor seating. It is best for you to make a reservation. The staff are always great just like the food! The indoor seating is loud but the outdoor seating is airy and you can hear each other better. To start the over the border egg rolls are soo good! The pretzel bread is served complimentary and very good. The trio medallions are sooo delicious and so was the seasonal short rib entree. It's a great spot for a date, to celebrate something or just meet friends for a meal. read more

Friday afternoons at Cooper's Hawk could be my new go to activity on a Friday. Easily one of my favorite chain restaurants along with Yard House. This was my first time to the Wesley Chapel location and it's super similar to other Cooper's Hawks. Whenever I come, I always get the $17.99 brussels sprouts without even looking at the menu. And for my entre I now always get the $22.99 The Prime. I always get asked if I'm in the wine club, but I've never joined since I don't really like wine. There are TV's at the bar to watch sports. Tons of people come in and out of this place. When I was ready to leave the main entrance was packed with people taste testing various wines. read more
I've been to Cooper's Hawk plenty of times for wine tastings and have eaten there a few times as well. I usually go to the Tampa location, but I happened to be in Wesley Chapel and decided to stop by. In my opinion, the Wesley Chapel location is even better because it feels much more spacious and welcoming. I ordered the steak medium and it was perfectly cooked. It tasted great. My mom ordered the risotto and she really enjoyed it as well. The service was friendly. I also did a wine tasting with Vanessa, and she was the best. If you have the chance, I would definitely recommend doing your tasting with her. Overall, it was a great experience and I wouldn't mind coming back again if I'm in the area! read more
I am such a fan of Cooper's Hawk! I usually go to either this location or the one in Tampa. The Tampa location is a hair hit nicer in my opinion. This one always has an odd smell...almost like a dirty rag is used to clean the tables..? But aside from the smell, I have no complaints about this location. I usually order their chicken piccata (amazing); however, my most recent time there, I ordered their Sweet Corn and Tomato Risotto. I was thoroughly impressed with this dish and finished the entire meal. The staff there are always so nice and attentive! Quick to recommend a dish and ask if you need a refill! Marek was AMAZING and attentive! I had an issue that would have sent the average customer out the door but he... took control and resolved the situation. The manager Chris was in my face in seconds, I was actually shocked he popped up behind me so quickly! They care about the customer experience and that's what hospitality is all about! First time going to Cooper's Hawk. We went on Saturday for Brunch. My husband made a reservation for 12:30pm and we did the wine tasting before hand. We were told the wine tasting would take about an hr or more so we arrived at 11:00am. It was very busy. However, it didn't have a "rush" feeling. We didn't have to wait long going through each wine pour. The wine was great. We aren't even into drinking wine like that. It was a fun experience. When we were done with our tasting, we got seated right away. Our server was extremely kind. The food was beautiful and delicious. It is a nice establishment. I was surprised how casual people were dressed. You don't have to dress fancy but the place isn't Denny's. We plan on going again. It was a great experience. I tried to get photos where it looked like no one was there to show the aesthetics. read more

We been coming since they open on Wesley chapel and we never had bad service or a bad experience. The staff is alway friendly and the food is always Good . Had dinner for my birthday with my husband and it was a wonder time and the food was delicious. My favorite is always the Ellie chicken piccata. I'm also member of the wine club and love it . They have delicious wine . If you have near I definitely recommend trying it. My husband enjoyed his prime rib sandwich . We also love the different appetizers . read more

This was like my third or fourth time coming and this was the worse meal I have ever had here every one else enjoyed their meal so I didn't want to seem too picky but thankfully I got my go to Brussel sprouts which were yummy per usual. My meal was cooked well just the combination was a little bit odd to me. My meal alone would have been a one star but as a whole I'll give this experience a 3 I'll try again next time. The service was really good and the ambiance was as well. read more
We are wine club members and enjoy our monthly visits here. They definitely stay busy. Sometimes you have to have patience if you want to do a wine tasting, and be cautious because not many patrons are courteous enough to care who has been waiting the longest for a spot at the tasting counter. The addition of weekend brunch has been great. And the monthly specials are pretty fun too. Each meal comes with warm pretzel bread that is crave worthy. We like this location better than Tampa because parking is aplenty. read more

Oh, how fun! I hadn't planned this visit at all. I wasn't even supposed to be in Wesley Chapel on this "uh oh, it's getting hot too fast" Florida Friday in April. But just before I was supposed to turn right to go home, I turned left and went here-and I'm so glad I did! This Cooper's Hawk location is just east of Wiregrass Mall. It's less hectic in that immediate area-for now, anyway. CH has a big parking lot-and while I've heard it's jammed on weekend nights, there was no problem on a Friday afternoon at 1:45. (though it was buzzy and bustling then, too). This is a pretty and modern restaurant-lots of grays and whites with some succulents and brushed gold finishing. It's a totally different feel than the "woods in a leafy setting" of the original Tampa location (which I love), near International Mall. Different vibes, but each is appealing-and the gorgeous menu, is the same. You enter into the wine tasting room, complete with so many bottles for sale and fun merch. (I'll be back soon to do some early Christmas shopping) I got a table right away, so didn't have long to look-but there's a bottle I have my eye on, for next time. The layout at this location works well. I was seated in the large dining room, in a cozy corner with a good view. The complimentary bread and whipped butter came out right away. This might be the first time I've tried it, since my friends usually get it all down while I'm still studying the menu. It's good! (And I tend to love anything served on a board). Then it was on to apps. I really wasn't hungry enough for one-but how can you not order their Brussels sprouts! Oh, those cashews! I'm not an aioli person at all-but I actually like it on these! So good -and a huge portion! I couldn't finish it, of course, but am still so glad I ordered it. For my main, I went with my usual-Ellie's piccata chicken. I got the lunch portion-which is great plenty: two chicken breasts, atop a bed of lemon-sauced capellini pasta, with long asparagus spears on the side and topped with capers. IMHO, you just can't go wrong with this dish. I'm smiling, just thinking about it. It's so spring-forward and fresh-but yummy all year long. And the lunch special is a nice option if you're saving calories/money. On this visit I had an unoaked Chardonnay and the pear drop martini. I'd definitely have them both again. And I had a very warm and kind server-who knew exactly when to come check on me. She recommended I try Dana's chicken next time. It looks good, too. Maybe it'll be a spur-of-the-moment decision like this lunch visit was. I can't wait to go back and try dessert, do a tasting and some shopping-at both locations! Cheers! read more
We started with a wine tasting in the tasting room, which is always wonderful. Our bartender was quite personable and attentive, making sure we moved along each of our tastings. We sat at the bar for dinner, the potstickers and egg rolls are our go to apps. The sauces are what elevate these two so well. The sweet soy glaze on the potstickers and the salsa verde on the egg rolls are to die for! My wife and I split a filet medallions meal, and much to our pleasant surprise they came out on two places already split. This was a really nice touch that separates this restaurant for others, they are so accommodating with excellent execution. Definitely a must try for a date night, special occasion, or even just for a wine tasting! read more

I know there is a private dining room that can be reserved. If I had to guess, I'd say you could fit at least 40 people in there, but I would contact them directly to confirm.
How much is a wine tasting now?
