Came to R&B night first time at Blush: purchased a glass of wine for 4 ounces and two high noons. I posted a picture of what they sold as 4 ounces ( red wine) no way it's 4 ounces maybe 2 ounces for $12 . Pics attached, red wine was 2 oz and cup with clear liquid is 4 oz. I brought this to their attention and hope they would attempt to correct, Unfortunate they did nothing and dismissed it saying the machine pour exactly 4 oz. This has been on my radar for so long-it sort of felt like deja vu when I finally got there-and I'm so glad I did! This cute little spot is located in The Krate, at The Grove in Wesley Chapel. These little shipping crates house small businesses that pack a big punch. I've never been disappointed in any of the ones I've tried. The Blush Wine Room is on an end-with some cute outdoor seating that I believe can be reserved for private events. It's also open the rest of the time-and is a good spot to enjoy the live music at the nearby stage. Inside, there's an adorable bar space with stools. You can order cocktails or wine and sit a spell. There's a good selection of noshes, too (please see my menu photos). You can get a card and do the "pour your own" tasting, from the machines at the wall, or do a flight like I did, at the bar. I had some choices to make in the flight and my server, who is also the owner, made some exquisite recommendations. I was really thrilled with all three whites. I can't wait to come back and try more. I also enjoyed a watermelon margarita, but the wines were the stars, for me. I like this concept-and am intrigued with the frozen drink pouches they sell, as well. There's also a Blush Champagne room, right next door. I'll do some exploring and report back on that one, too. Ordered and paid for a bourban drink only to find out there was no more bourban available. Opted for the blueberry mojito - I would ask for an extra shot if you want an actual cocktail. I got a refreshment to go, non alcoholic after being out in the sun and super thirsty. They couldn't make it frozen but made it iced, which was fine. I got the pina colada. It was good! At first I thought a touch too sweet, but then it got better and better! It's a really cool idea to get it in a zip lock type bag! I can't say much about spending time there as I got it to go, but the service was good and friendly. First time at this place... Friday night, a girls' night out, just chilling and I don't think there was a better spot to grab a drink than this. I asked the cashier for a recommendation, and she suggested the Passion Fruit Pina Colada and said the Strawberry Rose with Sangria was very popular. I'm a fan of passion fruit, so I chose that one. This place was SUPER cute. I am not a whine drinker but from what I saw they do have plenty of wine options. I also saw lots of cocktails on their drink menu as well. We ordered the spinach and artichoke stuffed empanada, the blue crab stuffed empanada, and the tiki masala bowls. The blue Kraska Antinoro wasn't for me, Jose, and mix the blue crab with some type of red sauce and it wasn't terrible but it wasn't great either. It just wasn't for me. The tiki masala bowl was good. The rice was cooked perfectly, chicken chunks were juicy and tender. The actual sauce was good as well. Texture wise it was a bit thick. The spice was perfect then there were chopped veggies to cleanse the pallet. It was good. The nan could've been better there was no garlic on it. But stilll good. I went back this week to try their creme brulee donut, and I am very sad. I paid $7 for some large sugar crystals, a cold filling, and dough that wouldn't put up a fight against 2-day-old dunkin' donuts. Two slushes - $9 each and they fill these pouches to the very top. The pouches are light, portable, & super sturdy. We were amazed at how much they fill it with. What a delightful treat. The staff was friendly and attentive during our visit, offering recommendations for our next visit (pineapple/mango mojito and buffalo flatbread minus the chicken, adding cauliflower on top). The interior is very chic and also offers outdoor seating. I ordered the Parm meatballs and toast, Buffalo Chicken flatbread, Buffalo cauliflower with blue cheese, Conundrum red wine blend, and San Antonio sweet red wine. Do not sleep on Blush Wine Room at The Krates in the Grove. If you are looking for cute creative cocktails or frozen drinks, look no further, because they are serving and they are delicious. The interior decor/ambiance is very girlie and chic. Outside there are plenty umbrella tables with chairs to choose from. They do have an option for reservations if you want to host a larger crowd outdoors. There are seasonal cocktails as well as the standards like the Strawberry Frosé. There also have a wine wall where you can get a card and pay by volume to try lots of different wines. They also have some light food available. Their charcuterie board menu items change constantly, per the ownership, so don't expect the same set of things each time. The remaining food items on the menu and from what I've seen in photos look pretty good too. There's limited seating inside and more seating outside. They are located in the KRATE at the Grove container concept entertainment area in Wesley Chapel. I got the Peach Bellini & Sangria swirl based on the recomendation from the bar staff. They were happy to make suggestion for me during my first visit. This drink was a bit on the sweet side despite being boozy and having had extra shot of booze added to cut down on the sweetness. The concept is a must try for first timers and for my next visit I'll have to try a differen non-frozen / swirly drink. read more

I have been to the Blush Wine Room many time but tonight it was an epic fail. I went with my husband and a friend as it was a beautiful night to be out. We sat outside and were not able to get someone to wait on u for 20 minutes so my husband went inside to order. No problem...they were busy which is great for business. However my husband placed the order and came out to say they did not have what I wanted so he ordered what was recommended. I went inside to inquire about the order to ensure it was something I would enjoy. The owner was behind the bar and when I inquired about the order she came across confrontation and told me that was not on the menu. When I stated that it was she said SHOW ME. So I pulled the menu off my phone and she said that is masala not marsala. I asked to cancel the order because I did not think I would like it and she seemed bothered and told me they were already preparing it. What happened to customer service? I asked her to cancel the order and she seemed bothered so my husband said don't cancel it, I will eat it and my wife can have my order. Needless to say I did not get what I wanted and neither did my husband, the food was subpar, the sangria was tasteless, the service was terrible and the owner was rude. It's disappointing because I have recommended Blush to many of my friends who frequent the Krates but this experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I understand being busy but in this economy where things are getting more expensive everyday customer service is imperative to maintain your customer base. Extremely disappointed! read more

Yay this is such a cute place! I'm super excited that I was finally able to check it out! I'm definitely returning and telling others to check it out! The Blush Wine Room is located at The Krates near The Grove. Once I walked in, I was immediately greeted by the friendly and knowledgeable staff. It wasn't too busy at this time (during the work week around 12pm). I decided to try 2 drinks and a small plate item. I started with the Blush Signature cocktail. This cocktail was not too sweet, it was actually pretty refreshing. It did not feel heavy on the tongue, and I could definitely taste the hint of strawberry. I then decided to try the blue crab empanadas. Wow! Just wow! These empanadas were served fresh to order and HOT! They were not stingy with the crab! The empanadas were perfectly golden brown, flaky and well prepared. The blue crab was plentiful and was very well seasoned. Pairing this with the aioli was just divine! I am coming back JUST FOR THE BLUE CRAB EMPANADAS! I then decided to try another drink. The staff recommended the lavender blueberry mojito. I appreciate recommendations. Well, I'm so glad that I listened because this drink was phenomenal! One of the best drinks that I've had in a while! The lavender was not overpowering at all. It balanced well with the blueberry and mint. The rock candy was also a nice touch! Once again, a very refreshing cocktail. Not too heavy on the tongue. After just 2 cocktails I definitely felt a buzz. I just want to add: I really appreciated the thoughtful presentation of the empanadas and the drinks! They really put in a lot of thought towards this. It definitely made the drinks more exciting and made me feel special. I recall other patrons oohing and awing at the presentation of their drinks. When I went to Krate this was at the top of my list, but be warned it's a popular spot. My friends and I went in search of the frosé pouches. We walked it and it was a little confusing which counter you could order at. Everything at the Krate is small with seating outside however everyone was cramped inside since it was raining. I was directed from the bar to the side window to order (pictured). The strawberry frosé pouch was $8.56 and well worth it! It was a little hard to know where to order with it so busy but overall I recommend a stop for a cheap frosé! read more
