We were in loots for dinner so we googled speakeasies near where we were to see what we can find. Came across this place and it is definitely a hidden gem. You enter through the International Beergarten. There is a bookshelf with a keypad that you enter the code in. In order to get the code, you need to check out their Facebook or Instagram page. Love all of the mystery behind the entrance. Upon entering, it was the quintessential speakeasy vibe, black walls, moody, lighting, and nice furniture. The mixologist that assisted us was Marcus. He is indefinitely on top of his game. My husband and I both just gave him our flavor profiles and he knew exactly what to do. We had two different drinks, but with the same alcohol base and all of the drinks were on point. I would definitely return and bring friends.

This place is awesome. Easily a 4.5! Cool speakeasy vibes, service was great, great atmosphere! Drinks were great. Will certainly be back!

My friend recently showed me this spot and we had a wonderful time! We went in through the back parking lot and I was amazed when I walked in! The ambiance and decor is so nice and unique. I felt so classy! The bartenders were all incredibly nice. Chris was the one tending to us but all the others were happy to help and constantly asked if we needed anything. They had a small menu but they can also make whatever you ask for if you give them a specific drink or just tell them what you like. My friends and I left to go eat at a restaurant nearby and came back afterwards. When we walked in, Chris saw us and immediately named off the 3 drinks we ordered earlier to see if we wanted another round. The whiskey with banana bread was amazing!!! I asked for hurricane which wasn't on the menu but Chris made me a delicious one. I also asked for something special for my friend who was celebrating her engagement. He made us some really tasty shots (even told me the price ahead of time without me having to ask) and set her shot on fire which was such a nice touch. Although it is pricey when buying multiple drinks, it's worth it for the atmosphere and level of service you receive, especially for special occasions.

First time and was happy to be here. Service was very good and I will recommend for a romantic first date.

My daughter and son-in-law treated us to Bab's. The ambiance is relaxing and the bar tenders are very helpful. We were happy it was a treat because the drink prices were a bit expensive for two retirees. We arrived early and that was good. The outer restaurant was full of patrons and the secret lounge had a steady flow of patrons. It was a nice experience.

What a fun speakeasy - you can find their code on their Instagram page. They change it weekly! It is located inside the International Beer Garten in Odessa. You look for the bookshelf and type in the 4 digit code onto the keypad (make sure to hit the larger arrow button to submit and open door.) It's a small space but it looks beautiful - dark and moody, bar seating, a large table in the middle and some small chairs to sit. It gets busy during peak hours. Fun menu of martinis and old fashions. Next time we will try the tiramisu!

Came on a Friday evening (7pm) and it got crowded real quick. Not quite your typical "speakeasy" place -- they play super loud music and the ambiance doesn't feel too "secret". There's only about less than 10 stools at the bar, small couch section on one end and two chairs on other. If you're coming with a group, you'll have to find a place to stand at the middle long table. The cocktails are delicious and are about $15 a piece. Cool place to check out at least once and would probably be better to come on a random weekday when it's not busy to get a better "speakeasy" experience.

Great speakeasy, great ambiance. A small place so finding room at the bar can be difficult. It's definitely busy with locals. The drinks are pricy, all above $16. But they seem pretty unique and the bar tenders are very knowledgeable. Iv had them make things off the menu and they add their own twist. It's a nice place to go after dinner for one or two drinks. Otherwise it's not very realistic for a date spending over $100 just on drinks. That's what I would expect downtown Tampa on Water Street.

A hidden gem that serves great cocktails. The music was a nice vibe, and the service was wonderful. Looking forward to visiting again.

Cute speakeasy, follow them on Insta to get in. Note that you can only order mixed drinks here, no beer or wine. Excellent bartender makes amazing drinks! They play shows or movies on the big screen. Def come for the experience!

We didn't enter the lounge through the secret door, which ruined the fun and had me confused as to why it was called a speakeasy; but later we discovered the actual entrance when my friend joined us through the correct door. The place is extremely small, dark, and intimate. The cocktails were delicious and creative. I didn't have a drink that I would say "uhhh never having that again". Keep in mind, there is no food on the menu. There was one bartender and he was attentive to our needs. My only gripe was the lack of social distancing during this pandemonium, which caused me to take 1 whole star away. When we arrived it was just 5 of us total. Then in a matter of 1.5 hours, a large group of like 15 people entered this tiny establishment without masks and I could just see the COVID virus swirling through the air (figuratively speaking) which left me uncomfortable and contemplating why I bothered to venture out my house. However, I did enjoy the place and return in the future when things settle down.

Love this bar! Great atmosphere, great drinks. Makes you feel fancy. Something we don't have in this area otherwise!!

My served, Ryan, was prompt and knowledgeable of the menu. I asked for recommendations which he readily gave. I decided to try The Sparrow for a cocktail, which I enjoyed. For my meal I went with the Pasta Brava, which had ham, chicken, peas and mushrooms with a white sauce. It was delicious, as was the bread that was served. Good sized portions. Definitely enough left for lunch the next day. The pizzas looked amazing at the table next to me. Definitely a nice place for a bite.

Hunter was our server and did a very good job taking care of our table throughout the evening. The restaurant was quite busy, so there was a little bit of a delay between receiving our appetizers and placing our entrée order, but after that everything flowed smoothly. We started with the Alto Adige Pizza -- prosciutto and cheese done in a very authentic Italian style. Absolutely delicious, although at $23 it felt a bit pricey for a pizza. We also ordered the Arancini, which were authentic, flavorful, and perfect for sharing with the table. Two of us ordered Caesar salads with extra anchovies. The anchovies were the pickled style and paired perfectly with the salad. For entrées, two of us ordered the Crostata, which I would describe as somewhat like an Italian shepherd's pie -- pasta, sausage, cheese, and sauce baked together into a pie-style dish. It already comes fairly spicy, and since I asked for extra spicy, it definitely had nearly too much heat! I probably should have tried it as originally prepared first, I think it would have been perfect. That said, it was rich, hearty, and excellent. Portion size was over the top. I took half of it home for lunch or dinner the next day. My wife ordered the Eggplant Rollatini and absolutely loved it. For dessert, we shared the Cannoli Dip Dessert, which was outstanding and ideal for the table. Crispy shells with cinnamon served with sweet cannoli cream for dipping -- simple and delicious. I liked it better than an authentic cannoli. All in all, it was a terrific first visit with authentic flavors, great atmosphere, and very enjoyable food. Looking forward to returning.
