We had a work event at Escape Brewing company and everything was absolutely wonderful! The space was perfect for our group. It was comfortable, and set up in a way that made it easy for everyone to relax, mingle, and enjoy themselves. The staff here was incredibly kind, attentive and accommodating, which made the entire experience feel seamless. The food was also fantastic. Everything was delicious. We especially appreciated how quickly the items we ordered multiples of were replenished. They were replaced promptly, kept hot, and always available for our guests to enjoy, which did not go unnoticed. Our team had such a great time, and they honestly have not stopped talking about it. This is exactly what founders John McGregor and Matt Thompson intended with their brewery. Both had corporate sales jobs and would escape to their respective garages to brew beer. This escape turned into a dream come true when the pair opened the doors to Escape Brewing Company in 2014! Over the years they have expanded their taproom and various spaces into the perfect set up for anyone and everyone to visit! Escape Brewing Company has three different spaces: the main brewery/taproom, a spacious patio area, and "The Collective" a space for cocktails and food. They have around six different food vendors that take up residency and offer a great dining experience! I had the pleasure of chatting with beertender Shauna, and hung out with a local named Michael. Trinity Escape Food Hall is such a vibe. The food options are stacked, so everyone can find something they're craving, and everything I tried was actually . The whole place has a really fun energy, especially with the live music going on while you're eating. It's also super family-friendly, which makes it great whether you're pulling up with friends or bringing the whole crew. Plus there's plenty of parking, which honestly makes it way less stressful than most busy food spots. If you're in Tampa come to the trinity area to get good food, listen music, and a chill place to hang, triniity's Escape Food Hall is definitely worth checking out. read more

I'll start this review with two salient points; I usually avoid brew pubs like the plague, and I have not been able to get my head around the value of a Smashburger... Escape brewing is probably 2 1/2 miles from my house and opened there collective food hall in 2025... went there prior for a beer but once again it's not my thing that's not to say there beer isn't good, but I'm pretty much a Pilsner or lager guy so most micro breweries have a lot on the menu. I probably won't try. My wife had a lager and I had a Pilsner and both were very good. We went to the food hall once last year and had some Asian dishes, but that wasn't open so we instead went with the burgers. They were delicious and I will be back again soon the buns were toasted, the Smashburger and all the fixings were good. Service was beyond excellent and also very quick. Currently, there's a pizza option, the burgers and a small donut shop inside. They have two more open windows that are supposed to be filled in the near future for other food items. It's always busy and seems to be a very young kid friendly/young family place to go and have some food and enjoy the sunshine. Great spot! Came here with friends for beers and snacks. We love their Wear Coast IPA, so plenty of that was enjoyed. They also have a cocktail bar as well as a food court that is expanding. Lots of great vendors. We really enjoy the sushi and thought it was very fairly priced. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, although everything is self serve from the bar. The location is divided into 3 sections, w larger inside areas and their outside lawn area with covered picnic style seating. While they specialize in their award winning beers, they also have seltzers, delicious sangria, a full liquor bar and lots of rotating seasonal drinks. The food hall has changed since it originally opened and they are adding a few more restaurants but currently they have things like pizza burgers fries sandwiches soft pretzels , donuts and shakes! So something for everyone. The outdoor space is great to bring kids and the main tasting room is cool and can hold a good number of guests. You can also reserve for meeting or celebration! "I wish we had one of these in West Palm Beach!" What a great space! You can work, socialize, eat, drink, listen to music, and enjoy the FL weather all at once. We were greeted warmly at the brewery and found six amazing food vendors in the hall. We went with Smash Bros and Dang Dude. The burger was juicy and flavorful, and the Udon noodles with dumplings were delicious. The highlight? Ryan! We caught him on a rare Monday and he was awesome!!! Personable, funny, and made us feel right at home. The cocktail menu was so creative. The Takeover (Ryan's soecial), Cherry Cola, and Ginny's Remedy were all spot on! The drinks alone have convinced me to move to Tampa! We also met Matt, one of the owners, who was just as kind and welcoming. The whole team was great and the bar menu was super creative and fun. Went as their website advertised live music this evening. When got there asked where the band would be and was told that music was canceled, but they have no way to update their website since the owners are out of town. Stayed to watch football game, but it was so loud my ears were ringing. It was more comfortable to sit outside in the rain than to have noise so loud you couldn't even hear. Food is coming from several different sources and menus are quite limited. You're not really going there for the food but more for the atmosphere and cocktails. read more

These bowls are from ATO. I am not a bowl connoisseur, however I do like to try bowls at new places. With that being said these bowls were not to my standard. On the left is advertised as a karaage chicken bowl- if anyone is familiar with the Indian "curry chicken" that is more of what this is - the Asian karaage chicken is normally like big crispy chicken strips- this bowl came with like 4 tiny pieces of what might have been precooked / microwaved chicken, drenched in a Indian curry. The spicy salmon on the right was extremely spicy -buyer beware. The fish had an odor to it that should not exist on raw food - I believe it was not to temperature standards I did not finish this for fear of illness. However I did consume enough to leave a fair review. I had much better bowls elsewhere. And I look forward to trying other vendors at this food hall especially the donuts !!!! This is still a place on my list as the atmosphere trumps any bad food experiences! read more

Came here on a Friday night and it was a lot of fun! Great selection of drinks at the bar, glass of wine was a little expensive at $13 so I got a margarita and it was just okay. The bartenders were friendly and people never waited long for a drink and they have bands playing outside on Friday's. Plenty of seats inside, at the bar and outside. I was worried about that when I saw the parking lot full but fear not! The food was great I got dang dude and the pot stickers were the best, the wings were just okay. What a treat! It's like a mini Armature Works, right here in Trinity! There are several food kiosks surrounding the dining area. We tried three of them. Ato, the taco place and the doughnut place. They were all fantastic, but the doughnuts were the best. All the employees were nice and explained the menu items. There's an outside area with games and an indoor/outdoor bar. I think it would be a fantastic way to spend an afternoon, relaxing in the sun and trying all kinds of new treats. We will definitely be back! read more

This is an awesome spot for Trinity bargoers and socialites! I am usually so busy that I rarely have time to get out of the house, but I was lucky enough to find time to join my friend for a drink at The Collective (which is part of Escape Brewing Company) this past Wednesday. The venue itself has a couple of different bars you can sit at, plenty of TVs for sports/news viewers, and lots of comfortable seating in the open areas. They also have several unique dining options in their food hall, including 3 Corners Pizza, The Florida Donut Company, Jimmy Renners burgers (I didn't try them but I saw somewhere that they may be smashburgers), Dang Dude which features Asian-inspired street food, and Gallito Taqueria, which features Mexican street food. I tried the fried chicken bowl from ĀTO and it was pretty good. The wine was decent and appropriately-priced. I believe they have a happy hour but I didn't get those details. Very cool concept but it's so ridiculously loud in both the brewery side and The Collective (food hall) that it's impossible to carry on a conversation. Love the atmosphere otherwise but would love to hang out with friends and/or family & talk. (Screaming at each other, not so much!) The beers served here are amazing! And the food selections are great too! (Best poutines I've ever had at Renner's!) Love the full service bar too for those that aren't into beer. Nice spot for families as the kids can play outside, but again it's crazy-loud inside! If they could correctly pad those metal ceilings maybe that would help! read more

Wow! What a pkace. We visited before the food was up, but the location was popping! They have broadened their selection, built the place for both groups and individuals. My girls and I had our monthly book club at The Collective recently- it's a food hall attached to Escape Brewing in Trinity. The food options were pretty great- burgers, sushi, bowls, pizza, donuts, and more. Ato is where I ate- Asian and Mexican fusion- I had a ginger salad and a sushi burrito called The Gulf (crab salad and tempura shrimp). My group ate from most of the options and I will definitely be trying Jimmy Renners- the burgers and fries looked amazing! Downside- it was HOT in the food hall- not comfortable there at all- but we moved to the brewery hall and were comfortable! Also, the price was pretty high at each spot- my salad and sushi burrito (oversized shrimp and Cali roll) was $23 before tax and tip. Such an awesome space in the Trinity area. There's escape brewing which is really fun, they host events and trivia and family-friendly gatherings, which I love. The collective food space has some good options for food, and all a little different to mix it up. There's a nice big outdoor space - it reminds me a bit of a smaller Armature Works styled space, for those that have been there near the downtown Tampa area. We really enjoy our time here - it gets busy fast though! I wish some similar styled spaces like this would open up in the Trinity area. Really great concept. read more

Love this spot! The a/c was broken but I'm sure that's just temporary as of July. Otherwise we had a great time tasting all that The Collective had to offer. There's something for everyone. I particularly loved the dumplings, the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and the Dubai donut. Food was fast at all the stalls! Seating was easy to find but if the a/c is still down, I recommend taking your food into the brewery where it's cooler. Also lots of great outdoor area for the kids to play while you listen to live music. I grew up in this area but now live down in Clearwater. I wish this existed back in the day! read more

Love this new spot for Escape! We had been to the old one which was small and didn't have any outside area. This one is huge inside and has a nice outdoor area for live music....and unfortunately too many kids. We like our bars to be more like a bar and less like a playground. But the beers are fantastic (their IPA game is strong) and they have an awesome 'food court' which has five different eateries, from meats to sweets. They've got pizza, burgers, Mexican, noodles, sushi, donuts etc. really awesome concept. Bartenders are friendly and helpful to boot. I'm a beer enthusiast and have been visiting Escape about as long as they've been open, at their smaller facility a few miles up the road. I liked the casual vibe, but mostly their beer. We're IPA fans, and their flagship IPA, "The Other West Coast" is always on our shopping list, and is now even available at the local Publix! I'd kept up to date on the construction of their new facility, waited until the "new opening" growing pains were likely to be over, and visited last week. The new facility is called "The Collectives at Escape", and features beer (of course, they ARE a brewery!) but also a food court with several small independent restaurants, with the idea that a patron could find something to eat, no matter what their preference. The restaurants are counter service only, so one places a food order at their choice of restaurant, and a text is sent when the food is ready to be picked up. I enjoyed the variety of food. there were four in our group. We ordered from several places, and then sampled each other's selections. (Well, sorta. My wife wasn't too keen on the raw tuna sushi) Patrons can sit inside, in the tap room, or outside in the "beer garden". It was a nice night, so we sat outside. Unfortunately, several children present were playing some combination of tag and soccer. Not only were they noisy, but one had to watch out for stray soccer balls or children crashing into your table. This certainly isn't the fault of the brewery, but the results of over permissive parents who were too busy drinking to keep a watchful eye on their children. I get it, kids will be kids, and kids make noise, but there's a time and place for everything. Soccer and tag are not appropriate activities in a beer garden. Two items that have room for improvement. The first is customer service, or lack thereof, at the bar. I was thirsty, knew what I wanted, and attempted to order a beer. Easier said than done. Even though there were several employees in the vicinity who saw me, not one offered a friendly greeting or showed any interest in taking my order. Finally an employee from another area saw me standing there and helped me. it wasn't just me. I saw the same behavior repeated several times over the 2 hours we were there, and I overheard a patron at the next table say "Geez, it's like I had to beg for someone to take my money!" The second complaint is menus. Like many establishments, Escape may be trying to go paperless. Placards on each table have QR codes so that patrons can use their smartphones, but reading the individual menus of several restaurants on a tiny screen can be a challenge. I get it. Paper menus are expensive and have to be reprinted when anything changes. Some, but not all of the individual restaurants DID have paper menus, but they were not all together, and they were in short supply. I don't have a solution for this, but improvements would be helpful. One patron complained that the "wines were mediocre". They may well have been mediocre, but Escape is a BREWERY! They make BEER! I don't go to McDonalds and and then complain that they don't have sushi. Many breweries do have beverages for non-beer drinkers in a group, but if you're a wine enthusiast, you should go to a winery. All in all, it's all about the beer, and Escape's beer (or at least the ones we sampled) were excellent, so we'll be back! read more

I've been hosting a chess club at Escape Brewing every Monday for the past 7 months. Before starting, I personally asked the owners for permission. They agreed, with the only condition being that we purchase food and beverages. There were never any signs prohibiting outside food. Week after week, I brought groups of 6 to 15 people -- totaling hundreds of customer visits. We consistently bought beer, snacks, and drinks. Even as the food menu narrowed to just pizza, burgers, and donuts priced over $15 each (this is New Port Richey, not New York City), I continued to support the brewery. I began bringing my own salads to eat healthier while still purchasing snacks and drinks for my kids. Last night, the owner approached me while I was eating my salad with just my son there and told me to stop because "they had food there." I reminded him that I was a loyal regular, a big fan of the beer, and the person who had been bringing consistent business for months. It didn't matter. After seven months of loyalty and driving hundreds of paying customers to the business, being told to stop eating my own salad showed a disappointing lack of appreciation for someone who has genuinely tried to support them. I truly wanted to keep coming here, but this experience has changed that. My chess club and all the business that comes with it will be moving elsewhere. read more

Food choices are good and fairly-priced, but MAN, it was HOT (late-August) in the food hall. What I didn't like is they had a nice big swamp chiller *pointed at the open patio and away from the customers!* I found out that the bar has a limited amount of beer, but a lot of liquor.
