Nice bistro like atmosphere and decor. Extensive menu reasonably priced. Many wines to choose from. My date and I shared a bottle of DAOU reserve Cabernet. A bit pricy and it screams to bloom in a decanter, at that price...our bottle didn't have time for that I guess and the only reason why 4 and not 5 stars. I would recommend calling ahead and have them uncork your bottle at least 30 min before you get there or order off the tap. "The Pope" board was amazing and nicely presented. The arugula was so fresh and so delicious I'd go back just for that. Fed two of us to satisfaction for under 20 dollars. Super deal for that quality especially the Di'parma. Cannoli cream was lacking that signature marscapone flavor but the Pizzelles were perfect. Staff was super friendly, attentive but not intrusive...Thanks Mike. Has potential, but lacking. The outdated French bistro decor look is decades tired. The older red headed lady who works there is incredibly passive aggressive. Not sure if she's the owner's girlfriend or what but she gets annoyed if you are waiting to get her attention and makes you wait longer. I havent been there in a few months but decided to try it again and she snapped at us when we arrived about bringing an outside drink and told us the kitchen was closed as she greeted our table after several minutes of waiting and assuming we had no table service. Our "outside drink" was just an empty paper water cup that we wanted to throw away as we had it in the cab ride over. In a world where small business is struggling, that redhead doesn't deserve my business. I prefer to patronize places who appreciate my business. Sunshine Supply in Tarpon Springs has a speakeasy room to rent if anyone is looking. Gone are the days of thriving businesses who treat their customers poorly. They will not make it if that is their model. I hope the redhead reads this and sees this as a learning opportunity for herself to be better. Regardless, I will be going to Estuary instead. It is so exciting to see the revitalization of New Port Richey. I have no doubt that local businesses like Sip are bringing a new era to the area. Our charcuterie board was delicious. We had board #4, as well as chicken pate. I think my favorite bite was wrapping a bit of blue cheese and fig inside of a salami slice. You get savory and salty together. Yum! The staff here is so welcoming and accommodating, too. They were super sweet to our son which meant everything to me. They genuinely want you to feel comfortable here, and if you have well-behaved children they will not be turned away. As a parent I can't tell you what a relief that is. They really understand the importance of community and connecting. We're happy to have an awesome spot in town to enjoy as a family or for date night and I can't wait to come back! read more

We had a surprise birthday party this past weekend that was held at SIP. There were approximately 35 people attended. Every person commented on the food that was prepared by SIP as being unbelievably delicious, the service as being outstanding and the ambiance, especially the 'Speak Easy' room, as being great. I cannot thank Sean, Melissa, Michael and the rest of the Sip Team enough for making this party one that will be remembered for a long time! Roommate and I decided to have a "night in" (let's be real, all nights are nights in right now) where we ordered from a local place and watched a movie. I had plans to come here a few weeks ago when s**t hit the fan with the virus so those plans were cancelled. Updated review 2020: Being under new ownership, Sip hasn't missed a beat. The argument could be said that with the changes that were made were all for the good. Since the outbreak of Covid, we haven't had a chance to get out and about as much as we would like but we did manage to get down to Sip to see what things were like since the change. Everything met or exceeded our expectations. The additional food on the menu was a highlight! The wines and craft beers are still fantastic! The only suggestion I could make is the addition of more vegetarian or vegan themed items on the menu. A+! read more

What an eclectic little wine and tapas place this is. My wife, who is a wine enthusiast, absolutely loved the selection, the seating on couches and comfy puffy chairs made it very calm and relaxing. They also had a nice variety of micro brews for us non wine drinkers. Charcuteir plates of meats and cheeses and a small menu of tapas selections made it very nice. A tad pricy at $9 a glass for a $20 bottle of wine but you have to make money. Cool place. read more

This is one of my very favorite places in downtown New Port Richey. It is a very elegant yet casual venue where you can get craft beer, good wine, hear amazing music and nosh on yummies such as four different charcuterie boards, or have a flatbread, hummus or chicken liver pate. In the background are muted old movies playing, and there is even a hidden secret in the back of the establishment, but you have to go there to find out what it is ;) The owners are very nice and accommodating, and if you are not a drinker, they have pellegrino, yummy teas and tasty coffees, plus desserts. My favorite is a cheesecake with a dark chocolate beer ganache. You can't go wrong with that! If you want to go get drunk and down some beer to get your drink on, this may not the the right spot. Rather it is a place to sip (no pun intended), savor and soak in the good atmosphere that harkens back to a better time. Think quality over quantity. Definitely my number one place to go in Downtown NPR! The first time I ever came here they were playing an Audrey Hepburn movie inside on a projector (muted) and had music playing throughout. I thought the was awesome, very cool, and definitely isn't something you find every day! When we first arrived we walked up to the bar to order a drink and I was pleasantly surprised when they told us that we could sit anywhere and someone would come to the table to take our order. We chose to sit outside along the sidewalk and people watch. Our waiter was at our table within minutes and came back just as quick with our drinks. I can't remember exactly what I ordered but there was a wide variety of wine and beer for any taste. The entire staff was very attentive and friendly. They do close earlier than other bars in the area and I still had a practically full beer when they closed. They said that we could stay awhile to finish my beer. We've been again since our first time and found the service to be just as quick and friendly as before. As far as food, the Open Faced 'Piadina is amazing, very flavorful! My friend and I went here last night right when the opened. Great staff and they are running a 40% discount on all white wine which was a nice surprise. We had a cheese board, hummus board, and caprese. All very good with appropriate portions for the price. The servers have great advice on what to order. Even Mick (inside joke) was helpful. All kidding aside, Michael and the team made us feel at home. This place is great for a nice evening out with plenty of heavy apps that are prepared with precision along with great wine. We have been here over a dozen board and just LOVE THIS PLACE. It is very classy and probably not what you would expect in downtown New Port Richey. They are always bringing in new craft beer and have great tasting wines. This is a family owned and operated and you can tell they care about their customers. Every cheese and charcuterie board is delicious. We love trying a new one every time. The way they put the boards together is unbelievable and your taste buds will appreciate it. I was excited to learn there was a new spot on Main St New Port Richey that had an appreciation for wine. I planned a ladies night with a group of wine loving ladies, and overall we enjoyed our time there. It's a very small spot. Just big enough to feel comfy and intimate. The decor is warm and enjoyable. The seating ranges from high tops to tables to comfy couches. They have a decent variety of wines. Id like to see more local wines offered, especially fruit infused. They have 8+beers on tap, which they offer a flight for. They are considering offering wine flights which I think will make all the difference. Food offered is charcuterie boards and other variety tapas and spreads plates. We tried 2 and both were very tasty. Prices are reasonable, about $7 per glass. They had an acoustic session going on in the back which we could have done without. One of the singers was much better then the other and they tended to be a bit to loud for the small space. read more

I absolutely love this place!!!! Before getting pregnant I had been in several times. They usually have some type of live music or movie playing. In the back, behind a bookshelf they have a private room where you can hangout with friends and play games. The owners are very friendly, I've chatted with them several times. Very disappointed tonight. Stopped by for a small appetizer before the concert in Sims Park. Afterwards, bringing back a large group for the beautiful charcuterie boards. I ordered pate with French baguette. I love pate. The pate was not very appealing to me. I sent it back. I ate very little. The owner manager would not give me a discount or even give me something different. He charged me full price and said they were in business and this was a loss. This is not how a business should be run. I visit New Port Richey several times a year. I will never go back to this place or refer anyone. If a customer doesn't like something, you need to make it right. Good customer service and relations is even before good food. read more
