The place is smaller than it first appears, though the front patio gives it a more spacious feel. Inside, there is a narrow bar with about 15 seats and four high-top tables along the walls and windows. The setup has an old-school pub feel, with shelves of bottles behind the bar and several big-screen TVs for the sports crowd. We were greeted by Scott, who was serving as both bartender and server. Great name... hes wearing the "WTF Scott" tee shirt pictured. I didn't ask. He was friendly, offered good suggestions, and made me a very tasty Buffalo Trace Manhattan. My wife went with a draft beer, and the service got the evening off to a strong start. Following Scott's recommendation, I ordered the Drunken Shrimp Mac and Cheese. He promised four shrimp, but the dish arrived with five, which earned him a "WTF Scott"? And and a fist bump. My wife chose the chop steak hoagie, and that was a winner as well. We ended up taking home half the hoagie and a portion of the mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was not especially traditional--it was more like pasta in a loose, cheesy sauce with a texture closer to tomato sauce--but it was still tasty. The hoagie was especially good, with a soft bun that held the meat, mushrooms, and onions together well. One drawback is the amount of underused space near the bathrooms and rear hallway, though making better use of it would probably require a costly renovation. Even so, the patio was busy, the atmosphere was very casual, and both the food and service were solid. Our total came to a little under $50 before tax and tip, although the roughly 3% credit card surcharge is always an annoyance. Overall, Steamworks Pub is a super-casual spot with good food, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. It is definitely worth a try.

Lots of fun drink options and our group tried several. The food was good and recommend the pickle pizza. Sounds odd, but was actually pretty tasty. It does get crowded on Friday and Saturday nights, but will go back for the fun vibe.

The Pub at Pointe Orlando -- Another Amazing Dinner!…read more September 2026 -- Our second visit, and The Pub continues to impress! Mia wasn't available this time, but Jailene picked up right where she left off and carried the torch beautifully! What an amazing server! When you can laugh, smile, and crack jokes on both sides of the table--server and guests alike--it's no longer just dinner. It's a memorable evening! And the food? HOT! I'm talking STEAM coming off the plates! I ordered the blackened salmon with potatoes and broccoli. My wife enjoyed the shepherd's pie. And those cheese bollocks? WOW! Absolutely delicious! We keep telling ourselves we need to try other restaurants around Pointe Orlando, but somehow we just can't stop returning to The Pub! Great food, wonderful service, and an atmosphere that keeps bringing us back. Special thanks to Jailene for another fantastic evening. Mia, you've got some excellent company! Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back!

Visited on a Monday night, 10/12/26, at about 6 PM. Restaurant only had maybe 6 customers when we…read morearrived. Atmosphere was a bit nice, but service was abysmal. No diners nor servers in the section we were seated in. Table of four. I had to go to hostess after waiting 10 minutes to get a server. Other diners were then seated in our section. I had to go get the server to take our drink order. Had to ask for a menu. Server's name was Adrian, I think. He took our drink order, but didn't put it in to the bar. Instead, he took drink orders from everyone else in our section, then took food orders from them. So about 35 minutes after being seated, we got drinks and menus. I was told they were out of the Scotch I ordered, so I said cancel it. We figured we had better put our food orders in. So about 20 diners, who were seated much later than we were, had drinks, ate their entire dinners, and paid their checks by the time our food came. Read on to see how I know this. I kept asking the server how much longer, he kept putting me off. Said soon. Got the food, ate, got the bill. Server didn't remove the Scotch from my bill! Had him reverse it, paid and left. Had really looked forward to this place. I wanted to go in, have a Scotch, order dinner, maybe have a beer and appetizers, probably dessert, in like an hour. This took 2 hours. And many mistakes. I was fuming afterwards. Blood pressure through the roof. I should have walked back into the kitchen to find a manager. None were visible on the floor. Whoever trained young Adrian, ought to explain, serve in the order that people arrive, show them respect, reassure a diner who seems to be hungry or very thirsty, don't ignore some patrons, they are your customers, and may tip very well if you are at least decent to them. Oh, and how about having a manager swing by tables, to ask if everyone is alright? What ever happened to that? Oh, guess that happens at other restaurants. As much as I like the atmosphere, I can't go back, or recommend it to anyone. See, we all went as a group of 25 people, but broke up into small groups of 4. Our group had to stand around and wait for us to finish, and they all heard our story on the way home. We will choose other restaurants for the rest of our week here. No one at the PUB ORLANDO seems to care. If you are from out of town, maybe spend your Tourist dollars elsewhere, there are plenty of choices. And don't order a shot of Oban scotch, they are completely out of it. I guess it's unreasonable to expect a British pub to carry Scotch. Order water.
