Quantity of solid breakfast food! With an outside eating area and endless coffee! The Florida spring comes out and the service (Rebecca) was fantastic and Florida friendly!

We've been dining at Magical Meat Boutique for some time now. This was our first visit at this new location. A larger restaurant, quieter than in the city and plenty of parking. We enjoyed the pretzel, onion rings, house salad, chicken tenders and grill cheese for the kids, bangers and mash, Lord's haddock fish&chips, steak and ale pie. All very good. Service was attentive. Support this local restaurant!!! Food is good with traditional Irish dishes.

Second visit confirms first review. Excellent visit. They've only been here a few months and have a pretty steady clientele.

We ate lunch while visiting Mt Dora and enjoyed it thoroughly from great friendly and good service, casual ambience, to the delicious food. We ordered the Fish and Chips dinner to share for lunch, and it was plenty. There were two Halibut fish filets, and the crust was crispy and the fish was delicious and perfectly cooked. The fries were hot and crispy and the brown gravy was a welcomed change from ketchup. We ordered mushy peas as a side because my partner was a big fan. We had Old Speckled Hen on drought. Very enjoyable. Apparently the business is moving shortly nearby.

This is the second time I visited this place. This time came in the evening to listen to a band. Sat at the bar at first. Got served quickly by the bartender. Moved to a high rise table to be closer to the stage. Service on the regular table was a little slow. Place is ok. Did not order food. The drinks options were mediocre.

We have visited Magical Meat before but only had beverages. Today we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch of Cod and chips, a Scotch Egg and battered sausage bites. The fish and chips was a very generous portion for us to share. Hot, crispy and everything you would want it to be. The Scotch Egg and sausage bites were also great. Service was top notch. We look forward to our next trip to Mt Dora to try some of their other dishes.

This is a very cute pub with indoor and outdoor seating. It is very cute in its theming. The service was excellent. The woman that helped us was attentive and very friendly. The food was very good. I had the steak pie and my husband got the bangers and mash. I wish I had gotten that because it was VERY good.

This is a fun English Pub that serves delicious traditional food. You can sit inside or outside and it is great for groups. The staff was SO friendly! We ordered the Fish and Chips and I just have one word: YUM!!!!

From the service to the food, our experience was great. We wish we'd gotten here later for the live music but it was worth every penny. Great drinks. Authentic British pub food. Great ambiance.

My husband and I were spending the day in Mt. Dora and before taking a boat tour of Lake Dora and the Dora Canal, we decided to stop in for a lite bite at the Magical Meat Boutique - a pub/restaurant owned and operated by a guy from London, where the original MMB was located. There is so much memorabilia on the walls throughout the restaurant. My favorite is a doll set featuring Def Leppard commemorating their "Hysteria" album. After the boat tour, we went back to the Magical Meat Boutique for dinner. Our server, Kate, was totally amazing. She was more than happy to answer questions and accommodate my special requests. Kate's personality was just awesome. She and I are both American women who are married to British men and swapped "how we met" stories. My husband, being from England, had a hard time choosing what to eat both visits because he was definitely familiar with the many offerings available on the menu. The had breakfast offerings til 4pm including full English and Irish breakfasts, as well as popular breakfast sandwiches. There was plenty to choose from on the appetiser section, including Scotch Eggs. Dinner options were plentiful. We did see an order of fish and chips go by...what an enormous piece of fish (choose between cod or haddock) and another entree of bangers and mash served in a large Yorkshire pudding. I will most definitely go back to that place. Oh...if you EVER get the chance to go that restaurant, you MUST get the sticky toffee pudding with the warm custard sauce.

Spent a sisters weekend in Mount Dora and had to try out The Frog and the Monkey and so glad we did…read more Perfect spot for bar eats... burgers, wings, salads, all the good stuff. My sister had the prime dip and I went for the turkey brie - both were delicious and super satisfying. Service was great too - everyone was friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference. There is a parking lot right next to the restaurant, super convenient. The place is cozy and has a nice size bar area. Definitely recommend if you're in the area!

So I went to the frog and money once and loved it I traveled with friends over an hour that was…read moreranting about it and I decided to go back with the same friends ! The drinks were priced great and the soup and burgers were so good! But I went 01/10/2026 at 230pm (busy rush for a pub on a Saturday) and I ordered a burger and soup because they have a soup of the day each day, who doesn't love that. Well my soup came out quick and I was pleased with that, it was chicken orzo soup, so good! Well I start getting to the soup and thought oh wow they put cheese in here, didn't tell me it would have cheese and I'm rubbing it around in my mouth cause I like to taste my food you know? Well it wasn't cheese...... IT WAS SOMEONES CHEWED MINTY GUM IN MY MOUTH STUCK IN MY TEETH I got sick (in a napkin of course) and informed my server, ran to the bathroom some more getting sick and when I came back my server informed me I wouldn't pay for anything, I made a comment that maybe the dishwasher didn't do a good job but the server told me he wish that was the case that it was intended for an employee on break and he thought it was mine in the window and it wasn't, he apologized, well I took a couple shots of whiskey to kill the bacteria hopefully. I asked for a manger to come talk to me because I work in the food industry and I don't feel it was handled correctly, he informed me the manger was not there he had to text her to get the approval for the bill. So I was definitely taken back. I have never had anything like this happen to me and the two girls I was with also tasted the soup because I said it didn't taste right and they was literally given a bill for their 15$ burgers and I got a 10% card to hopefully come back. I have called twice to talk to a manger and have not gotten through to anyone, I've seen messages online to suspected owners and still nothing back, I was told the guy with the gauges in the kitchen is the one that did it, I woken up with a sore throat today and will be going to get tested and they will be informed of my medical bills by a lawyer. PS my friend ordered a burger Togo a few hours later for her aunt I went in to get the burger and pay with my 10% card and the short haired short server with glasses was seen laughing at the computer about the situation, I just don't think it was funny at all.
