We were visiting in the area, and lucked into finding Paddy's. The service from our bartender was excellent and the food was simple bar food, but prepared perfectly. And the pub was so clean, bathrooms and floor space, it looked NEW. The owners are apparently big believers in cleanliness. Pricing, I would say, were really reasonable by CA standards. I come here pretty regularly and things are usually good. However, on Saturday,May 17th, I had a different experience. We stopped in for drinks and was greeted by Curtis who was very funny and welcoming. Then, Chris came on shift, who was also very polite and pleasant. On the other hand, there was Rick, who did not greet us, speak to, or serve us, but took it upon himself to follow my friend outside to tell her not to come back, because her business was not wanted, nor welcome if she could not afford to leave a decent tip! As a server myself, I found his behavior deplorable!! Tips are given, not owed,so he was out of line for saying that to her. I'm not sure if we will be having drinks there again any time soon. Sometimes you just want some good bar food, the local dive bar from back home, no frills, ya know something you can count on for consistency. This place would be that. We happened to be in the area and of course I come to my tried and true Yelp app to see what's around with good reviews. This place did not disappoint. I saw some good reviews and the pictures of food looked good. Plus I miss good bar food, it just sounded good. We walked in and the bar tender said hi and to sit wherever, he came over and took our drink order and gave us some menus. We picked the appetizer sampler, we picked the chicken tenders, loaded tots, potato skins and jalapeno poppers. The chicken tenders were cooked perfect! Juicy on the inside and a nice crisp on the outside. The potato skins were delicious and not overly done like other places. The poppers were flavorful. The loaded tots.....FABULOUS! Tots cooked were crispy to perfection and topped with cheese, bacon and a sauce. Hubby had two beers and I had a Tito's and soda. Grand total was $28! 10/10. Great service, vibes, and prices. I'm not sure if the drinks were simply just cheap (priced how they should be in this day and age) or if it was because of a special. My vodka water lime was $5 (normal size glass) and my friend's double rum & coke was $7 (large cup). The sampler platter was actually more expensive than both of our drinks ($14) but it was so worth it. Those tater tots and mozzarella sticks are worth every cent. We came here from some drinks after a family dinner and had a great experience! My boyfriend's sister and brother in law had been telling us how much they liked Paddy's for at least a month, so we were excited to go with them. We arrived at 10 pm ish and it was comfortably busy. We walked up to a table and as soon as we were seated, the bar tender/owner, Kat, came to take care of us. Kat is absolutely amazing. She remembers your name even if it's your first time and has a wonderful sense of humor. She gave us incredible service and great drinks. The drinks were cheap, but still strong. I got a vodka Diet Coke and a strawberry margarita and both were perfect. We also got an order of bacon cheese tater tots, which were so crispy and delicious! I've visited this place a few times and have never really had a problem. Yesterday, I visited and had a not so nice experience. I was told to never come back after I left a $7 gratuity on a $30.77 tab. The bartender Chris was really nice and pleasant. However, the guy who ran out the door as I was leaving never said a word to me but felt the need to tell me I'm not welcome there. I believe his name is Rick. Not sure why a 20% gratuity wasn't good enough for someone who didn't serve or speak to me. A customer service talk should be had with this guy. read more

Headed into Orlando on Friday evening and was looking for a cool, but lively place to hang out. After a quick search of the area, I decided on Paddy's Pub and headed over. It wasn't overly crowded for the space and definitely looked like a place where people could have some fun. I spoke with Joey at the bar and she directed me to a high top. I was checking out the cocktail specials when she came over, and was between the Paddy's Old Fashioned with Bulleit whiskey or the Green tea, with Bushmills Irish. Joey recommended the Old Fashioned, so I went with that. I guess she could see how hungry I was looking after the more than three hour drive, so she brought a menu over as well. I ordered some wings with a combination of mango habanero and their fire sauce. I was neither disappointed by the drinks nor the food. They both hit the spot!!! And the service was awesome even though the bar ended up with quite a bit of people. I didn't stay to play pool or darts, but there were some guys very excitedly playing the golf game. Turns out they were pretty good also. Tunes were provided by the jukebox that could be accessed through your phone, and the atmosphere was just what I was looking for. Whenever I'm back in the area I'll be back. And hopefully won't have as early a wake-up call as I did the following day. read more

On a Friday evening, my husband and I were at a loss for what to get for dinner. We couldn't agree on our usual spots. My husband has been to Paddy's with a friend of our many times. He suggested we go there. I was so impressed with all of the menu options -- and even more impressed with how good the food was. The employees were incredibly nice, and even though it was busy (Friday night rush), we were well taken care of. Would definitely recommend Paddy's. read more

Paddy's is hands down our favorite local spot. Drinks are solid and affordable. The food is consistently well done and absolutely delicious. HUGE fans of the chicken grillers, tots and all burgers. The staff is consistently the same and makes you feel like family. We try to come at least once a week! Feels like our version of Ted's bar in How I Met Your Mother. Went last minute with my good friends while I was in town. The atmosphere was cozy and fun. The bartender Kat was accommodating and eager to create a perfect drink experience even though the place was packed. I got the pick 4 platter to split with friends and enjoyed the chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks the most. I went Monday night - be aware that it is league night for this season and you will not get a chance to play pool. I've got to give this place a 5 star for sure. My gf and I have only lived in Longwood for about 3 months and love a good dive bar so we seek them out. Drove by Paddy's a dozen times saying we need to go in....last night we did and we both loved it. The drinks are great, the drink prices are great, the food was great. The bar has the most comfortable padded chairs (with backs). Bartender Jeff was super nice and Kat was awesome and her sarcasm was awesome with us. She can dish it out and take it too. The chicken tenders were good and I got the Grillers with the Lava sauce. It had some heat to it but didn't make me sweat (nose ran a little tho). It smelled like it used to be a smoking bar but there was no smoking inside. Also, they have all sports on their TV's...just ask them for your game. Im.lookong fwd to NFL season. Tonight was my first time in there and I ordered the Black and Bleu Burger. Portion size was generous, quality was decent, not amazing, and the service was spot on- responsive and fast. The environment, the dinning room/bar - didn't really fit for me. Paddy's is smoker friendly, so if your sensitive to cigarette smoke this is definitely not going to work for you. I am New to the Orlando area and my friend and I were looking for a chill bar to hang out at for a drink and we randomly selected Paddy's Pub and boy did we get lucky. The bar overall was a chill vibe but the best part of the car was definitely the bartenders, Kat and Jeff. They were so upbeat, lovely, and engaging. Kat was especially funny. We had a drink and a show. They were understaffed and we still had our drinks made so quickly. We didn't wait more than 5 minutes.
