Very unique and cool spot. I like the idea of not having one specific server, they're all there to help out and you can move around the place because they will basically open a tab for you. We went with our friends to watch the game, the seating situation could be just a bit better because there's people playing pool and you kinda have to stay out of their way, same with the dart games. Visited Kiwi's with friends after work on a Friday after someone suggested. There was plenty of parking and tables inside. For reference, we had a group of 8 people with us. A server greeted us quickly and somehow got the drinks out before the 4th or 5th person could even order their drink. Super quick! For food, I ordered their quesadilla and a side of chips/queso. I would skip the chips in the future, but the quesadilla was good, just add a bit of hot sauce. I went to Kiwi's on a Friday night and it was quite busy. They had plenty of seating available and good music playing as well. It took a minute for our server to get to us but you could tell they were extremely understaffed. Even though the place was busy and understaffed the waitress's did an amazing job considering the situation. We ordered the tostones, cheesy garlic bread, potato skins, and chicken wrap. All the food came out hot and fresh from the kitchen and everything was well seasoned. For this being a pub it had better food than actual sit down restaurants. This dive bar gives the same vibe as Cheers! It feels like everyone that comes here has been acquainted with many or all of the wait and bar staff. It's very homey and there are pool tables around that many of the guests can be seen playing at. I came here for happy hour. The wings and drinks were reasonably priced and the wings were tasty. The waitress explained that everyone looks out for each others tables so feel free to ask anyone for assistance if necessary. She was very nice and attentive. I would certainly return here. It's located in a little shopping center and it's not as remarkable from the outside but as the night goes on, plenty of people stop in for both sit down and takeout orders. They have about 15 beers on tap, a good craft selection, and a large food menu with reasonable prices. The bartender made it a point to learn our names immediately, strike up conversation, and get to know us. We got the crispy Brussels per his recommendation, as well as pretzel bites, shrimp tacos, and a shrimp po boy, Brussels were OUT OF THIS WORLD GOOD. My new favorite spot for crispy Brussels. The pretzel bites were crispy on the outside and soft on this inside - obsessed, cooked to perfection. For a local bar, the food was AMAZING. We were so impressed. So happy we went. My husband and I had driven past Kiwi's a few times and were curious, so we decided to finally give them a try. Kiwi's is a pub located in an unassuming strip mall off off State Road 436/Semoran Blvd. in Altamonte Springs, Florida. When you walk in to this establishment, you're welcomed to seat yourself. The interior looks pretty warn, but cozy. The layout is very open - with pool tables, the bar, tables and booths and many televisions mounted to the walls. My only complaint is that it took quite some time for someone to come to our booth (and we were in the middle of the room - so very visible) and we almost be left before a server finally appeared. Once we connected with a server (they work in a team), the experience was a good one. For our meal, we started out with a 10-count of wings and asked to mix Jack Daniels Honey sauce with mild sauce. They were pretty good - perfectly cooked and just the right amount of sauce. For his entree, my husband ordered the Kiki Dip (the roast beef is made in house and the sandwich is served with au jus) and a side of their Guinness chili. My husband was surprised at how good "pub food" was and noted that we should definitely come back. I ordered the turkey bacon ranch wrap and a side of sautéed spinach. The wrap tasted fresh with a good balance of all of the ingredients. The spinach was good, but the sauce was a bit too vinegar-y for me. This is a gem! I was hesitant coming here for dinner as it looks like the perfect dart or pool tournament bar. But we were blown away by the tasty food! We had 2 soups that are made in house. They were phenomenal. I got a burger while my husband got a taco special. The cooks know how to throw down! So delicious. The bartenders were on point with everything and everyone. Until I came here today, I would definitely say that the chicken wings exceeded expectations greatly not to mention that the service was really good as well. We have lived close by for 20 years but never really noticed this sports pub before as it is kind of hidden in an older shopping center. When we walked in, the place was clean & loaded with TV's, pool tables, & dart boards. Brandon was our server & his calm demeanor was great. My wife had a few questions about the menu & he answered them all with utmost professionalism. I ordered the New Zealand Burger & it was so original & delicious. My wife got the spicy chicken tenders & a blackberry cider from tap (which had a refreshing taste). While dining, we were impressed how 3 other servers came by to check on us along with Brandon at various intervals (what team work). I enjoyed my visit to Kiwis! Came for a quick lunch since my friend recommended it. The place is a dive bar for sure, but was actually pretty clean by that standard. They have a TON of TVs to watch sports games, etc. About 4 pool tables and 10 or so electric bull shooter dart boards. I can imagine it gets pretty busy at night and the weekends! Anyway for lunch the food was actually pretty good. The lunch prices are great. They have a wing special for $7, which is 5 wings and fries. You do have to buy a drink, although it could be a soda. I had the French onion soup which was delicious! Hit the spot! The soup and salad combo with a drink was $10. Not that bad! I would come back for lunch for sure. Went there 2 weeks in a row for football Sunday. I sat at the bar and both Sundays my server/bartender was Shadae (probably spelled her name wrong). First week 11/16 the food was ok, not bad not great. The environment is good, everyone wearing their teams gear & watching football or playing pool. Service wasn't great but luckily there were other servers & bartenders there that were able to pick up the slack. The 2nd week 11/23 I show up 5 minutes before the 1:00pm game starts, Shadae takes my drink order within the first 5 minutes I'm sitting there, so far so good. There's only 5 other people sitting at the bar at this time. She brings me my drink and I ask for a menu. She immediately turns around & hands me a menu. I then sat there until :30 seconds before halftime she still hadn't come back to me to ask if I wanted to order anything. I decided to leave since she never returned to take my order or ask if I needed anything for the ENTIRE 1st half of the game. The other people sitting at the bar appeared to be regulars as Shadae knew them by name and attended to their every need & very frequently. If you sit at the bar and you're not a regular be prepared to be ignored or if you want anything you're going to have to wave them down every time even if it's not that busy. I ended up paying my tab for my drink after the hour and a half of sitting there being ignored after I got my drink & menu. The crazy part is I tip really well 30-40% usually and I don't ask for much when dining out. Just the basics, taking my order, bringing the food out when it's done, checking on me after the food comes out like 1 time, at the same time maybe a drink refill and bring me the check at the end. That's it! I shouldn't have to wave you down for you to complete every aspect of your job or I'm completely ignored. Pretty simple. I went across the street to froggers for the 2nd half of the game and within 5 minutes of sitting there without having to flag down the bartender I had a drink and ordered some food. Froggers bartender checked on me several times throughout the 2nd half of the game asking me if my food came out ok and if I needed anything else. Sadly I'm done going to kiwis to watch football games. I used to like that place but I shouldn't be required to be a "regular" or on a first name basis just to get service when I go to a bar. read more

Kiwis have the best wings in town! Always fresh and delicious never had a bad order from them. The service is decent depending on the night and the atmosphere is pleasant. Don't let the location fool you, Kiwi's is AWESOME! They have the BEST wings, great service, and a relaxed environment. Billy was our server/bartender and he was friendly, gave great service, and checked in on us regularly. My husband and I have been here several times, and we always have a great experience. We went today for some wings and we ended up playing pool, which was free from 11am to 5pm, which was a pleasant surprise. Now that we know this, I can definitely see some more afternoon pool hangouts with yummy food in our future. They also have automated dart boards. We also tried the buffalo shrimp and the spinach artichoke dip. I haven't eaten many different things at Kiwi's, but everything was AMAZING! The spinach artichoke dip had so much flavor and freshly fried chips. The buffalo shrimp were fresh, crispy, and paired perfectly with their chunky, house made bleu cheese dressing. As always, the wings were extra crispy, covered in sauce, and hit the spot! They also have a variety of burgers, nachos, and early bird drink specials. Rating from F to A+++, I give it an A+++! Do not go here if you want to watch the Orlando City match with your family. If you have kids they kick you out promptly at 9 PM, no exceptions and only 20 minutes notice. Everyone but the manager was friendly and accommodating. But my family and I will not go back because of how rude and inconsiderate the manager was. I have been going here for years, but always forget to leave a review! This place is usually busy any night of the week and they have certain nights dedicated to pool leagues, trivia, etc. The food menu is pretty large when you consider that this is a bar. I have tried the blackened veggie sandwich, the quesadillas, and friends of mine have tried the wings, burgers, and Philly cheesesteak. No complaints on any of it. Most recently, Brooke and Felix were my bartenders and they were both very on top of things. I saw staff constantly cleaning throughout the dining area so that's a good sign. Every time I go here, another customer strikes up conversation and there is music on (Touch Tunes!) It's just an all around fun spot. read more

I haven't been a patron since precovid so I figured I'd give it another try being we were looking for late night bites. We sat a booth for almost 10 min unacknowledged by staff. We move to the bar and sat in the high chairs. While we got service we had to ask for it. The appetizers we ordered didn't even arrive. Somehow our bill was $120 for 15 wings (which were undercooked and soggy) & fries, 2 shots and 5 beers. After being cashed out to our payment on file I had to ask for an itemized receipt from a different staff because nothing was provided before payment. Turns out I was being charged $11 for beer and upcharged for everything we didn't ask for (sauces etc) tab was already paid and a gracious tip was left however I won't be back. Not for drinks and not for food. Very disappointing considering this biz has been around for years, made it through pandemic and has probably the biggest unit in the plaza. I think I've ever seen in any industry how she works there shows with a low standard they have and why the service is so terrible?
