It was a college football weekend so when you walked into Twin Peaks it was pretty busy. Inside all the tables were full and waitresses hard at work. We had to wait about 20 mins which wasn't too long considering how busy they were. It was a nice surprise to see that they had weekend specials and that kids ate free on weekends. We ordered a pepperoni flatbread and some cheese fries for appetizers and they were pretty good. The kids cheeseburger and adult burger were average. The lobster Mac and cheese was hot and tasty. Twin Peaks has the coldest beer and especially with hot afternoons it always hits the spot. As a woman it definitely takes longer to get a drink and even if you come as much as I have in the last 2 months, they still will never remember me lol. They always ask me if it's my first time... They have garage style doors that open to the enclosed patio, which is very comfortable, especially with the fire bit in the current cold snap. Drinks: Came here for a nightcap after dinner and was very happy with the selection of drinks. A ton on tap, full bar and just great options. I ended up getting one of their 10oz ciders and it came out famously as their 29 degree slushy kind of consistency on top. The entrees we ordered (calamari, Gater bites and spinach dip) were good but unfortunately the two burgers that were ordered as well as the 8oz fillet all had the same complaint, a funky taste that they said tasted like a dirty grill. The fillet was ordered medium rare and was served more medium well. I ordered the shrimp tacos and enjoyed two of them and took one home. The next day when I ate the third taco I bit into something hard, it turned out to be a plastic tip from a squeeze or sauce bottle. Party of six came in at about 7: 15 on Friday night, we were sat within 10 minutes! Server finally came, took our beverage order three younger girls got their drinks. Two of the three adults got their beverage finally had to ask the server for the other adult beverage. Placed our appetizer order took a while for it to come out. When the server came back, she took our order the order consisted of five different types of wings and one cheeseburger. An hour and 15 minutes later the server came over told us she was sorry somehow our order got bumped and she didn't know how told us it should take no time at all for us to get our food. 10 minutes later I've asked for a manager! Manager came over told us that he would check on it and take care of us. I said I thank you very much for finding out where the food is. Our girls were starving as they had played in a softball tournament that day. When our food finally came out, only five of the six meals came to the table. The food was cold. The fries were so soggy. Nobody even came over to check to see if everything was OK finally had to get up and ask another waitress to find out if our server could bring the other young girls food out. they finally brought out the food we asked for the check as our girls were definitely done and ready for bed. Our start to finish time was well over two hours of sitting at a table with basically nothing. It was very expensive even with two entrées being taken off the bill. I made an online order for their lobster roll and lobster Mac. The ladies up front greeted me and were very kind. Once I got home and tasted the food, it was honestly disappointing. I didn't do my due diligence and look into the lobster Mac ingredients which contained corn, which I dislike. I called in and asked if there was anything that could be done and not only was the lady over the phone kind, the manager was kind enough to resolve the issue. I came in and picked up the new order and I made sure to express my gratitude for not only the accommodation, but the kindness I was given throughout the entire experience. As a local guy, I relish the environment here and the delicious menu. Kellie is by far the best bartender across the eastern seaboard, but most notably the go to at Twin Peaks in Altamonte. She is an essential ingredient in the operation and knows how to handle big crowds, constantly being on the spot with everything and making sure everything is done in timely fashion. Her good looks, charisma, and outgoing personality add to her appeal. Of course, those are givens with the style of bartenders and waitresses at this particular destination. Went to Twin Peaks in Altamonte Springs today for some wings. The last 3 times we've gone there, we have been forgotten and waited 10 minutes before a server has come and greeted us and taken our drink order. Today we ordered wings and when they came out my fiancé picked up a wing to eat it and I had told him to put it down as there was hair all in the wings. We finally got the attention of our server who didn't understand what we were saying. We finally told her that there was hair in the wings and we would like a fresh order. She takes the wings back and tells us we'll get fresh wings on the fly. It was but 2 minutes that the wings came back out and weren't even hot. It's like they took the wings that had hair in them and placed them on a new tray and added some more fries. My fiancé and I are never one to complain or send anything back, but there was more than one peice of hair. The sad this is the manager never even came to the table to acknowledge that something was being sent back nor ask of the replacement wings were good. Being that I work in a restaurant myself. I've learned that management is the key to making a business run smoothly and to keep your customers coming back. Very disappointed in this location the last few times. Their food is absolutely good and they are definitely one of the few restaurants I like to enjoy in the Altamonte area. But overall, this chain brand is actually pretty good. The Wait After being seated, we waited about 45 minutes without anyone coming by to take our order for either food or drinks. When we finally did get to order, it took almost an hour for the food to arrive. During this entire time, the waitress didn't check on us once. The Food By the time our food finally came out, both my girlfriend and I had pretty much lost our appetites but decided to eat anyway. I ordered wings, and my girlfriend ordered a burger. Both dishes came out cold. My wings didn't have any sauce on them, making them dry and tasteless, and my girlfriend's burger was just as disappointing. Overall Experience This was the worst experience I've ever had at a Twin Peaks. The extremely slow service and the poor quality of the food were inexcusable. It was our first time here and we were not disappointed. The ambiance is nice and they have a lot of TVs showing different sports. The bar area is huge and the decor makes it feel that you are walking into a nice modern pub. We were greeted by the hostess and she was nice, friendly and sat us right away. Our server Destynee was nice, friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and drinks and was more than happy to answer any questions we had. She recommended the margarita of the day and it was delish! We ordered the fish and chips, the grilled salmon with 3 cheese mac and cheese and a side of fries. Everything was freshly made, came out quick and it was very tasty.
