I went to Copper Rocket to play Trivia. It's a typical bar vibe. You walk in and seat yourself. The service was surprisingly excellent. We had two servers checking in on us for a few hours. The drinks were good and the food was fine. We ordered mozzarella sticks and fried pickles. Both were flavorful, but a little greasy, which is to be expected from bar food. Trivia was a lot of fun and there was a decent size crowd, which made it more competitive. After trivia, the music got really loud so we left. Local little spot we when to while visiting family. I wasn't hungry for much so ordered 6 wings. They were nice and crisp and sauce was good but the meat itself tasted like it had been freezer burnt. Small restaurant in the big city of Maitland! We originally came from a restaurant in Winter Park, waited two hours and was never served. Desperate to find a place to have a drink and food, we saw this place on Yelp and gave it a shot. Parking is huge and we were self-sat next to the bar. Our server, Daniel (or David - sorry!) attended to us and explained the menu. We ended up ordering garlic parmesan wings with a classic burger and fries. Wings are fresh (fell off the bone), burger was cooked to our liking (medium), and the fries are something else man! So good, crispy. I think they're beer battered?! I can't recommend The Copper Rocket in Maitland after my experience, and what made it worse is the place **barely had any customers** at the time. Even with a light crowd, the service and attention were extremely poor from start to finish. We waited far too long just to be acknowledged, and once we were, everything still moved painfully slow. It felt like we were constantly trying to get someone's attention for basic things, and there was no sense of urgency or care. When a restaurant is slow, that's usually when service should be at its best--but here it was the opposite. This was my first time at the Copper Rocket and I really liked it! I wish that I lived a little bit closer because I would make this my new sports bar! There are a ton of TVs showing every single sport you could ever want. The bartender Lance was SO GREAT! Very friendly and attentive. I walked in and was the only one there at this particular hour and he was very nice to talk to and made me feel like I wasn't bothering them by being there. I had a side Caesar salad, but my friend had the pizza. Obviously the pizza was way better than my salad but I did think that the pizza was very good for a bar pizza. There was karaoke on this Wednesday night and it was fun to watch all of the singers while watching the hockey game. Whenever I am back in this area, I will be checking it out again! read more

We popped in to the Copper Rocket for a quick burger and didn't expect the amazing service and food. Our server was unbelievable! Trivia was going on and they were slammed, but he still never left us wanting for anything. I have to say, the double burger was delicious! It was juicy and all of the toppings were fresh. I'm not a fan of steak fries, but they may have converted me. The fries were so crispy. Hubby had the wings and aside from needing more buffalo sauce, they were a hit. Copper Rocket has that local feel that makes you want to come back. It is a 30 minute drive for us, with traffic, but we could easily be regulars there. Then a woman comes and calls my friend and group bitches puts her hand in my face and pushes my friend. Then tells us we will be kicked out. The manager then approached us and forced us to leave for harassment. I asked if there was cameras where we were sitting to see the woman physically assault my friend and verbally assault myself he stated no not where you are but I will have her leave to. But she never had to leave. So the restaurant will allow you to be physically assaulted. Do not recommend. read more

Went here on a Friday night. My gf and I were in the mood for a burger so decided to check out this spot. The inside is your typical bar scene but had music as well. They have different deals going on every day which is cool. The burger we got was the barbecue burger. The 2 patties are brisket patties. Very juicy and a good size for 1 person. The fires were fire. Copper Rocket is a neighborhood sports bar where you'd go to hang out with your friends to hang out on a chill night and grab some drinks and bar food. ...but the food's WAY better than your typical chain bar. Think of it as the better house made versions of your favorite pub grub. We got: - Spicy Honey Garlic Wings: The wings were a good size and stayed juicy, with a healthy amount of sauce without drowning it out. The sauce was everything I wanted a hot honey sauce to be. - Loaded Fries & Onion Rings: Both items were fried to perfection. The fries were lightly battered like a Checkers Fry (iykyk), and were topped with crunchy bacon, cheese blend, jalapeño, and the winner for me: diced raw onions. Ask to omit if you're not about it, but it really helped cut the greasiness of each bite! - Gabalou Pizza: Just an amazing pan style pizza and 10000% better than what'd you'd get at a delivery pizza shop. The Gabalou had mozzarella, GENEROUS dabs of ricotta, garlic, basil, pepperoni, prosciutto, and hot honey. The pizza had an amazing crunch and hold without being too thick. Oh and don't forget to ask for a side of ranch with it too if you're a fatass like me. We came in on a Friday night not knowing it was trivia, and every seat was filled so definitely get in earlier so you can enjoy the games and get a seat. Despite it being super packed, the service was still great and the bartender was kind enough to give some recommendations. They also have karaoke nights here so I can definitely see myself just munching and having one too many drinks and enjoying the night. Five stars for one of my favorite places. The location is so central to the majority of things to do in Orlando, and interior is cozy and sports bar-y, which is fortunate, because there are more than enough TV's for you to watch whatever sporting event you're into that night. The food is also really good. The wings are my go-to. Traditional, of course. Pictured here is the spicy honey garlic flavor. Always crispy, always saucy, always delicious. My initial review contained service from a waitress I haven't seen since that review was made. My overall status of the service has changed and the general manager genuinely cares for this restaurant, even though she may seem a little hardcore. My favorite is the buffalo chicken hoagie with seasoned fries, but I've also tried the Hawaiian pizza and the buffalo chicken wrap...both very delicious. We still have to try the giant pretzel, but this place also makes a wicked vodka cranberry. I hate how much potential is in this bar to be ruined by this old bartender with a grey beard who can completely kill the energy in a night. I lived accorss the street from this bar from a year and have recommended it for it's food, great selection of beer and cocktails to many people. I used to warn people that if this guys is bartending just grab a table but now it's gotten to where I've been embarrassed suggesting this business for post rehearsal party night cap. This bartender is unprofessional, unhospitable and is easily flustered and passes on that stress and frustration to his guests. Twice before I have come with work colleagues and seen him throw his hands in the air and say I can't serve all of you, you need to find a table or a server because I can't have this. He has placed the blame of his inability to handle a rush on the people trying to spend money there. Tonight at 9:30 with maybe 6 other patrons in the entire bar our group trickled in and he would let out dramatic sighs and tried to turn us away. Pushing for every to close out, slamming cards on the bar after having been asked to start tabs. If he can't control his emotions and act like a professional idk why he stays. Then at 11:55 with the kitchen drinking at the bar a cook told us 4 of us to go ahead outside and start to leave. Meanwhile the bar was open still. An absolute joke of a closing team. Came here during Orlando burger week. It's been a long time since we'd been here. Not sure when they remodeled but it's been at least that long since we've been here. The food was ok and so was the service. Average bar food with a decent beer selection. Yelp offers a free draft brew with checkin, but they were out of the drafts I selected so they substituted a can of beer instead. No need to rush back as there are plenty of other restaurants in the area to try. I have to say the white pizza is my favorite on their menu. I have had it numerous times and it still tastes amazing. It is the mix of garlic, ricotta cheese for me. If you're a cheese lover like I am, you will enjoy this pizza. The service is always very good. The bartenders and waiters are always very attentive. Friday night is their trivia night and it's a lot fun. They have 4 rounds giving different teams a chance to win gift cards. It can get quite competitive but it's always a good time. Cute little sports with some of the best bar food I have had. My men and I spent an afternoon at the Coper Rocket watching football. They had the Sunday Ticket and were not too crowded so our requirements were met. The fact that that the food ended up being good was a bonus! We tried to spread our ordering out since we were going to be there for a while. We started with a giant pretzel! OMG! This pretzel was huge! There was enough for the four of us to share. It was served steaming hot and was crusty ithe outside with plenty of doughy deliciousness on the inside. You can ear it raw but the beer cheese it was served with was gooey and tasty. We also order fish dip. You could tell the dip was freshly made with lots of raw onions. It was not too fishy. The grilled wings were just okay for me. The pizza was excellent! The Copper Rocket has been around for a while, but was completely renovated in 2018 by Bar Rescue. They now have a full liquor bar. Aesthetically, the bar is beautiful compared to what it used to be. My husband and I chose to order from Copper Rocket because it's close to us and we've had pretty good experiences with them for the most part. Not sure what was going on there when we placed this order but apparently, they took so long to get our order ready that our first delivery driver gave up so that made our order about 30 minutes later than the latest delivery time estimated when we placed the order. When we received the order, which included two orders of the "loaded fries" they had no ranch at all and barely any cheese, like the smallest amount I've ever seen on any loaded fries anywhere. The fries were so dry and tasteless we couldn't even eat them. The wings were good. My husband's Reuben bread was burnt, literally black on both sides.
