A well-stocked changing table, which was such a lovely touch
    Helen B.

My fiancée and I ate at Mandola's tonight and had SUCH a lovely time. (She had actually eaten there the night before and brought me back some incredible dessert, so I asked to come in the next day!) The vibe is very comfortable, almost a hometown deli feeling. You order at the register and receive a number to bring back to your table, where a runner will bring by focaccia, olive oil, and an herb blend. Our food came out within 10 minutes and was absolutely delightful! Even with my no-goat-cheese modification, my chicken menichino was so tasty and perfectly seasoned. I also tried a glass of their Gavi di Gavi, which was such an excellent complement to my meal. My partner tried the daily special, a beef brass to, and was blown away by the tenderness of the beef and the large portion size. We were too full to get a dessert to share in-house, but we stopped by the dessert counter and received amazing to-go recommendations, which is how we ended up with tiramisu, a lemon ricotta cookie, a snicker doodle, an espresso cookie, and a slice of cake. (We'll be back to try the gelato!) And, on my out, I spotted a family-friendly detail I didn't expect - a changing table in the restroom stocked with diapers of all sizes and wipes! What a wonderful touch. Overall, I enthusiastically recommend this restaurant. Everyone we spoke to was kind and incredibly efficient at their jobs, providing quick, welcoming service and great food recs. The food was delicious and well-portioned. I'll be back to check out the happy hour!

We came in for lunch and had a good experience! We liked the fast casual concept where you order at the counter and then they bring the food out. The little dessert market was really cute. Service was friendly and fast. We really liked the complimentary bread and I loved that you could pour and season your own olive oil at the drink station. For appetizers, we got the bruschetta and the garlic bread. Both were very good and easy to share. For my entree, I got the lunette modo mio. The mushrooms, sauce, and filled pasta were all good and I liked the inclusion of peas. The dish was a tad salty, but not unbearably so. On our way out, we got a tray of 25 cookies and absolutely loved them. Mandola's is a solid spot.

I was initially overwhelmed because it was my first time there and you order before you sit. They have a pretty extensive menu, but someone came to greet us and explain the process. The lunch menu has a variety of options from pizza, to pasta, to sandwiches, at a reasonable price. You also get this delicious soft bread and oil to start with. I had a grilled chicken panini with garlic fries and it was delicious. If you like cheese it was a lot on there, just the way I like it. The garlic fries with the dip was really good as well. I was able to eat half and was full. As it was our first time, some staff brought cookies for us to sample. It was a really nice touch and a sweet bonus. They were all really attentive in picking up plates and asking if we needed anything.

Mandola's Italian Kitchen delivers such a warm and authentic Italian dining experience. From the moment you walk in, the café and gelato station on the left immediately sets the vibe. I loved the open kitchen concept being able to see the chefs cooking from almost every seat made the experience feel welcoming. The complimentary bread with herb olive oil was a perfect start, and the atmosphere was cozy, colorful, and full of charm. Great food, beautiful ambience, and friendly service. I'll definitely be coming back is great for meeting or birthday plenty of space!!

Ordered to-go from Mandola's Italian Kitchen and overall it was a solid takeout experience. The food was ready on time and packaged well, which I really appreciated. I ordered the Chicken Piccata with Alfredo, and my husband got the Chicken Parm with spaghetti. Both dishes were still warm when we got home and held up well for takeout. The chicken piccata was tender and flavorful, and the Alfredo added a rich, creamy touch. The chicken parm was a generous portion with crispy chicken, good sauce, and classic comfort vibes. While dining in probably gives the full Mandola's experience, this was a reliable and satisfying option for a night we wanted Italian without sitting down. Would definitely order takeout again.

    Fettuccine Alfredo w/ grilled shrimp

I came in with my family, as we wanted Italian. When walking in we order at a counter, and we enjoyed the open kitchen concept. The food arrived quickly to our surprise, and I ordered the shrimp fettuccine and my wife got the chicken piccatta and my son ordered the kids pizza. The pasta was very simple, and the shrimp was seared nicely, and had some crispness. My wife enjoyed the chicken, and the pizza didn't last. I do want to highlight the Gelato as it's made in house, fresh daily with 8 options, and yes samples are available. But the cookie butter stole my heart! I'd return to try more of the menu, and the happy hour!

    Fried mozzarella

My husband and I were looking for a new restaurant to try and we stumbled upon Mandola's. Located in a stand-alone building within one of the newest plazas in Maitland, Mandola's seems to be a fast service Italian restaurant that's supposed to emulate an Italian market. With locations in Texas and Florida, all Mandolas have a counter-order-then-sit-down system where a team member will bring you your order after it's placed. Soda beverages are self-service. The dining area consists of small square tables with either green or red chairs and you can view your meal being prepared in the open kitchen. Outdoor seating is also available. Each meal comes with complimentary focaccia bread with herbed olive oil for dipping. My husband and I ordered the fried mozzarella. This is the first time we didn't devour fried mozzarella. We just didn't like the taste. My husband hypothesized that it was cooked in old oil. For his main dish, my husband ordered the beef brasato (the Saturday special) and a side Caesar salad. He found both dishes tasty. For my entree, I ordered spaghetti and added grilled chicken. The chicken didn't have much flavor and had a bit of a rubbery texture, but the pasta was cooked perfectly. I couldn't leave without ordering some gelato for dessert and I wasn't disappointed.

This is our second time here and we ordered pizza. It was thin and crispy like we love. We had pepperoni and purple onions. delicious. It was a bonus being Happy Hour! Until 6:00 6 oz. pour of wine is $2.50 off, 9 oz. Pour is $3.50 off. And $4.00 beer--Peroni is my husband's favorite. The staff is super friendly. I look forward to coming when it's not 98° so we can sit outside on the large patio.

Food was good, service was good, ambiance was nice. I would definitely come back. They have a specialty item on the menu every day of the week.

Came back with friends recently after a work session at the cafe in the same plaza. Quality of the food is still fantastic, food tastes good, and prices for happy hour are still great. There were a lot of employees, very little patrons, but somehow our group still waited on one dish for a very long time. We watched a table that was seated after us receive all of their food while we were still stuck waiting for the one dish.

We love Mandola's!! And this location was lovely! The staff were beyond friendly and very attentive!! The food as always is delicious and they even passed around free dessert samples which were divine! The restaurant is so spacious and has so many tables! A big outside patio as well!! Also I love the changing station in the bathroom... thank you for helping parents out!!

For a fast casual restaurant, Mandola's is a great value with a lovely staff. We happened to stop by on a day they were having a $2.50 spaghetti and meatball special in honor of 50 years in business. And we happened to get the last two for the day. Add a pretty decent bottle of Pinot and the never ending bread service and it was a nice meal with enough for leftovers. The desserts looked fabulous and they had a line at the dessert/ coffee station but I was too full. The greeter, cashier, busser and dessert station cashier were friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely return.

The parking situation isn't the best, there's very limited parking in the front lot of the brewery but there is a lot behind the building if it's full, and it can get full so just be prepared to walk a bit if it's busy. Inside, there's a solid amount of seating with a relaxed, casual vibe. They also have games you can play while hanging out, which makes it a great place to spend a couple hours with friends. What really stands out is the selection. They have a huge variety of beers (something for everyone), plus ciders, non-alcoholic options, and even soda. It's one of those places where everyone in your group will be able to find something they like. They don't serve food, but you're allowed to bring your own, which is a big plus. There's a wing spot just a few doors down that makes it super convenient to grab something and bring it back. They also host events throughout the week, my personal favorite is Wednesday night bingo. It's always a fun crowd and a good midweek activity. Overall, it's a great local brewery with a welcoming vibe, tons of drink options, and fun things to do. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area

So we were hopeful the food menu would be good. Well I'm not saying it's terrible, but it definitely needs work. I'm hoping it's just while they get their bearings with offering food. But it seems like it's very simple kitchen appliances like crockpots and some sort of toaster oven for the flatbreads. Steve behind the bar was great though, answered our many questions and was patient. Beer is always good here! We also love the expansion, it's created more space and more light.

We went last night, Friday night, to get a beer and wind down from the work week. As we were walking in the music was loud and obnoxious, either grunge or acid rock, I don't know, but I made the comment that maybe it's not as bad inside. I was wrong, it was loud and obnoxious music. We decided to try the peanut butter porter which was very tasty and smooth. We sat down to drink it but the music was so irritating we drank it fast because we could not relax. We chose not to eat or buy another beer. We would have opted to go outside but again, it was even louder. My suggestion to management, please play music that doesn't overpower talking, isn't blasted outside, and maybe add some large TVs for sports. You missed a huge opportunity to show the FIFA games. Overall I love their beer, but not enough to put up with the terrible music. Do better. Beer is 5 stars Ambiance is 2 stars

When I walked in, there wasn't anyone at the counter, so I waited about 3 to 5 minutes before someone came up to take my order. Once I ordered, my pizza was ready in about 10 minutes. The first thing you'll notice is the size. The slice is huge and definitely lives up to its reputation. Unfortunately, the taste didn't do the same. The mushrooms weren't cooked enough for my liking, there wasn't much cheese, and the pizza just felt like it had been put together in a hurry. The crust was also pretty bland and didn't add much flavor to the overall slice. I visited about an hour before closing, so it's possible that played a part, but since this was my first experience, it wasn't the best first impression. A whole pizza is quite a bit more expensive than buying a slice, so based on this visit, I don't think I'd be willing to take that chance. Food: 2 out of 5 Service: 2 out of 5 Value: 2 out of 5
