After giving this spot a follow on Instagram, I knew I had to try it out. Heads up, it is closed on Sunday. I visited on a Monday around lunchtime and secured a parking spot close by on the street. The inside of the restaurant seemed very clean. You place your order on the kiosk for the staff to prepare your food. There were several sandwiches, salads, and bottle beverages. I ordered the #8, Luca, which has turkey, pecorino cream, and sun-dried tomatoes. I also got a bottled Sprite. The sandwich was prepared right away. I thought the sandwich was very fresh and tasty. They are massive, and I only ate half in-store and took the other half home. The bread is oily, so it did leak through my paper bag when I took it to go. I would suggest maybe containers for this reason.

If you want one of the best sandwiches around, check out Turci Panino. We had the number 7: AMERICAN - roast Beef, black olive cream, arugula, tomato and the number 8: Luca - Turkey, pecorino cream, sun-dried tomato. The sandwiches are huge and the bread is outstanding. 10/10. Service was fast and friendly and they provided good recommendations. Ambiance was fine. Cute and clean little shop. We will definitely return.

5 stars and more! Finally able to visit Turci Panino I have been craving to go and try their delicious paninis. Located next to their restaurant Turci pasta.Love their welcoming atmosphere, vibes and decorations. Staff was so friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Visit during happy hour. They have food and drink menu for happy hour. I got the #6 the Bologa(mortabella, pistacho cream, burrata and pistacho). It is a half size of their regular paninis which is a great portion for happy hour and the lemon mint spritz. The panini was so flavorful and fresh and they make it infront of you. Love their spreads, the Bologa has the pistacho spread. I try a sample of the tuffle cream spread and it was amazing too. Everything here is so fresh top noch ingrefients for their breads, meats, and spreads definitely will try another panini next time. They have a lot of other food options too as appetizers, bruschettas, salads amd more. Their prices are very afforable and great portions as well.free street parking. They have inside and outside seating and bar chairs. You can place orders to go on dine in on the computer.

HUGE panini. Roma with pesto cream added. Enough for two people or save half for lunch the next day.

My husband even rates this place a 5, and he never gives any restaurant a 5/5, so that's how I know it's really good! This is one of the smallest sandwich shops I've been to but one of the best! It's counter service (you can actually order on iPads at the front of the restaurant and not even have to talk to anyone) and then you find a seat and they bring it to you. Be warned, there isn't a lot of seating. But it makes the place feel very quaint. Everything is sliced fresh, made to order. It is packed on the freshest, softest, most delicious focaccia bread. (Seriously the best I've had around town.) The sandwich was HUGE. That's not an understatement. One sandwich could easily feed two people comfortably. Roma: prosciutto, fresh tomato, basil, mozzarella, and added pesto cream. My favorite part of this was the fresh mozzarella. It was so creamy and melted in my mouth. Firenze: salami, artichoke cream, spicy eggplant. The eggplant wasn't very spicy, but all the flavors were yummy still. The amount of salami they put on it would amaze you! The second half of my sandwich was a bit soggy the second day, but the flavors were all still there so I didn't mind. Price is definitely reasonable for the amount of food you're getting and the freshness of it all.

Went here for lunch the other day and loved it. It's right off Edgewater next to Turci Pasta. Parking is all along the street. I got there pretty early so no wait. The staff was really friendly and get right to work as soon as you place your order. It takes a few mins to make but it's totally worth it. I ordered the Roma and as you can tell from my pics the thing is huge. Honestly the thing is so big it's perfect size for 2 people. Everything tasted fresh and loved it all. Inside is modern but by the ordering station it gives you that Italian vibe for sure. Highly recommend to loves a good Panino!

I had visited Turci in the past for dessert a while back and was excited to see that they grew and were going to offer paninis! I loved the one I got in Italy and it just brought back memories The shop is clean, nicely decorated with both inside and outside seating. When you walk in, you go straight to the counter to place your order (or you can do it online). The owners and staff are nice and friendly, which sure adds to the great ambiance and food. We ordered the Firenze (that artichoke cream, yum!) and the Demarchi both in Focaccia (nice and fluffy). The flavor combination of each was delicious and it sure tastes homemade and the real deal. It sure hits the spot! We will definitely be back and thank you for a delicious panini!

This place was pretty good but I've had better Italian sandwiches in Orlando for sure. The staff was kind and patient. One sandwich is definitely shareable

Ok so if you are hungry and want to fill your belly with a fresh homemade ingredients all put together into a sandwich then this is the place! The bread itself is freshly made with rosemary and other herbs. The smell of the fleshly made bread as you bit into your sandwich makes you'd day! The pillowy soft bread with slices of your choice of meat, cheese, veggies, sauce etc... it all depends on what you order. I'm sure the staff won't mind if you make it your own as well. They are so sweet! All ladies ready to take your order and make you the perfect sandwich. The place was nice. A bit on the small side but plenty big to fit maybe about 50ish. Parking can be a bit tough but you can always talk a walk if you park a bit far. I mean a walk after a full belly does the body good, lol! Go ahead you know you want a yummy sandwich! Go give them a try! You know you want to. I know I do want to go back and try another sandwich.

Sandwhich was delish definitely a little oily but I got it on focaccia bread so that's pretty common. Everything tasted so fresh!!

Welcome to one of my new favorite sandwich places in Orlando. We were searching for quick food in the area and happened upon them during a yelp search. First thing I noticed when leaving was surprisingly how heavy the bag was. Upon opening them we were pleasantly surprised with 3 massively amazing sandwiches. Each one packed with mounds of meats and their spreads. Honestly, each sandwich could be shared, but if you wanna live a little grab one for yourself. Definitely one of my new go to sandwich spots in the area. Pictured are only half sandwiches as the other half is happily resting in the depths of my belly.

Amazing authentic Italian sandwiches! Came for happy hour so we could try more options and I'm so glad we did. A regular sandwich would have been HUGE! For happy hour you get a "slider" which is half a sandwich but still totally filling. Very pretty inside, we'll be back!!

My husband & I were craving authentic Italian sandwiches after coming back from Italy, and this place hit the spot! There were about 4 tables for 4 to the left when you walk in, then the bar seating to the right. We got there around 12:30 and it wasn't very busy (about 2 tables were already taken), but about 45 min to a hour later the place was full! Touch screens to order that have the photos, which is nice to have a visual sometimes! The sandwiches are massive! I could have shared with my husband and we would have been fine. We each got our own because we were excited to try them though. I got the Turci sandwich, and he got the Bologna. So yummy & great to know this place is here! Can't wait to come back and try more!

Love this place so much!! Bread is light and fluffy, fresh ingredients

There were about 16 of us in the group, and when I first arrived, it was pretty packed -- I almost didn't get a seat. Thankfully, everyone was super nice and accommodating, making space so I could sit comfortably and enjoy the night. The atmosphere was relaxed, inviting, and full of good energy. They have comfortable seating and fans on the walls, which helped keep things cool and cozy. It's definitely a great spot to get together after work and wind down with friends, coworkers, or even new people. Trivia Night was a blast! The host kept everyone entertained, engaged, and laughing throughout the evening. It felt very well-organized and had a nice community feel -- I'd absolutely go again for that experience alone. A few things did surprise me, though. Since it's a wine bar, I expected mostly alcoholic drinks, but their Instagram made it seem like they also offered non-alcoholic options. When I asked for a soda, I was told they only serve alcohol -- no soft drinks, no mocktails. So if you're not drinking, plan to bring your own or grab something before you go. Later in the night, I got hungry. Their Instagram also gave me the impression that they served food, but they actually don't -- the food comes from a food truck around the back. When I went to order, the lady running the truck told me, "I'd rather sell out...," which threw me off. I wasn't sure what she meant, but it came across as rude or maybe even personal, which was disappointing since I was ready to buy something. That said, I don't hold that against Grape and The Grain itself. The staff inside were kind and welcoming, the crowd was friendly, and the overall vibe was great. For the atmosphere, comfort, and fun trivia experience, they get a full 5 stars from me. I'll definitely be back -- next time I'll just eat beforehand and bring my own non-alcoholic drink!

Inside is elegant just as well with lovely art pieces, decor and lighting. They just started doing brunch on Sundays when I went so it was nice to experience it and see their curated menu. When I made the reservation I requested a scenic ambiance spot which they had the perfect table for me and my server Erin surprised me with a complimentary glass of bubbles, I assume the prosecco which was such a treat being to start off my birthday lunch! I had some main goals of YES and I NEED, which was a nice bottle of wine, those gorgeous blue and white printed plates, the blue crab cannoli, and the ousters. All of which I received in the best presentation possible. The team at Lorelei even made my lunch ever so special by serving everything on those plates along with enhancing my blue crab cannoli with caviar on the top instead of the regular fish eggs that are placed which I was just full of joy and happiness seeing how special they surprised and customized my dishes for me! The bottle of Sauvignon blanc also a perfectly complimented my oysters as well as the cannolis. Overall, Lorelei did not disappoint me and met all of my expectations and desires with the perfect birthday lunch with my favorite besties! 5 Star update to include their incredible new food program! (Get the carrots and red cabbage salad…read moreand the pan con tomate STAT.) Quicksand is a natural wine bar that will change the way Orlandoans expect to feel at a bar. Pro-tip: ask the staff for suggestions and settle in! It's no secret that I've become a big fan of natural wine in the past few years, and that is 100% due to Golden Hour - a wine shop in Baldwin Park that I randomly discovered on their first day open. Heather, who brought us Golden Hour, opened Quicksand in late 2024 for those of us wondering why Orlando doesn't have a great wine bar like the ones we've seen in cities around the world for decades. ***Finding the bar: Quicksand is located directly next to Educe Salon (across from Black Bean Deli). It does not have a big sign, but it's the first door you'll see as you walk from the parking lot. ***Parking: Did I mention the large parking lot? There's plenty of parking available there, or on street behind the bar. ***Service style: As you walk in, head to the part of the bar closest to the entrance where you can get recs from their staff and don't have to try to bully your way through folks sitting at the bar to get their attention. ## Did I mention that everything here is intentional? From that simple detail that makes ordering another glass MUCH easier than flagging someone down in the middle of the bar, to the position of the speakers... *** The Food: Chef Leah Cordova has crafted a seasonal menu at Quicksand, currently consisting of sandwiches, small plates, and some heartier dishes. All of them have a focus on quality ingredients with many sourcing their components from local farms or special producers. My faves include: - Pan con tomate: The tomato here is actually a combination of fresh slices of small tomatoes as well as another preparation that adds a wonderful tang. It's truly a special version of this small dish. - Whichever salad they are featuring, but special mention to the carrot and red cabbage salad that has just the perfect amount of fennel! - The white bean dish. I didn't catch the name, but it's a winner! - Cacio e pepe: This is exactly the rich, creamy dish you are dreaming of. - Whichever ice cream they are featuring (Chef Leah also operated Sweet Thyme, her ice-cream project with inventive flavors. Faves include the black pepper and date as well as the carrot cake) ***Ambiance: As you walk in you'll feel enveloped in a warm glow of subtle sconces and feel immediately comfortable. It feels like Quicksand has always been here. It's unstuffy, unfussy, and so inviting it has me researching squatter's rights... The music will sound loud at first, but then you'll realize you don't have to raise your voice at all to talk to people. This is because the speakers have been built into the furniture low and towards the floor. INTENTIONALITY. Besides the volume, the playlist has been painstakingly curated by the team so that you'll enjoy the music, but not quite be able to place the artist. ***The WHY And now, my favorite part. The wall of farmers/winemakers. Someone on staff filled me in to the fact that these are portraits of the various human beings who farm, harvest, and create the wines you can get at the bar. These are actual people, not giant corporations. And that same staff member reminded me that these individual producers are farmers for 11 months and 2 weeks of the year, and wine makers for only 2 weeks. None of these people are household names. None of them are in it for the money. They are in it to produce beautiful wine the way it has been produced since the beginning of wine-making: with minimal intervention, meaning no insane additives that give me headaches; and no mass production. The thing I've come to love about "natural" wine is that it is intensely principled. Quicksand is what happens when *every single link* in the supply chain (Farmer/Producer; Importer; Distributor; and Wine Bar) prioritizes principles over profits. And you can feel it the moment you walk in. This is not a corporate chain, nor will you find multiple locations and franchises. Not only is the wine list filled with some of the most incredible bottles I've had the pleasure of trying (many of which you can't get anywhere else in Florida), but the staff truly believes in the power of creating this special "third space" for a community to gather around good, ethically-sourced wine. I can't wait until they start serving bites alongside the wine! (Someone told me the small menu will consist of cheeses, charcuterie, focaccia, chips, etc.) SALUD!

The staff was very knowledgeable about all of the different wines and helped to select the best glass for what I was in the mood for that evening. The bar was very clean and there is a lot more space then what you see when you first walk in. It was all very clean and modern looking inside. Looking forward to my next trip in.

Blue cheese stuffed olives were a dollar a piece and tasted great but don't think I needed the 3 that was automatically given. I got a cheese board, truffled fries, fried chicken caviar, and a deviled affogato for dessert. My date for the creste di gallo and the olive oil citrus cake. Everything was was very good, with the standout being the fries; I know that truffle essence flavor isn't for everyone but it worked really well for me in the fry sauce. My dates pasta was also very good, the pesto sauce was zesty and complimented it well. And I really like the olive oil cake with mascarpone, super light and perfectly sweet. The very minor issues were that the fried chicken was pretty deeply fried and way harder than expected, which I don't mind but may not be your thing. Devil's food cake at the bottom of the affogato was also not as sweet as I would have liked. Overall a really enjoyable experience. Would definitely recommend.

They offer a wide variety of wines including reds, whites, sweet, and dry options, so it's perfect for exploring different tastes at your own pace. The space was clean, inviting, and overall very relaxing. They do have specials on Wednesdays, which I'd like to check out next time, but honestly this is a great place for wine tasting any day of the week.
