Steak frites. The 2 sauces are not pictured.
Georgina G.

Service is always great. Food is always delicious. I love that they have a wide selection of gluten free and vegetarian meals although I am not either but have friends who are and I know that they appreciate all the options. Recently came here with a large group for a bday party and our 1 server handled all 17 of us excellently. Not 1 order messed up. All food came out at the same time and served hot. We also weren't bogged down waiting to pay either which shows efficiency. Almost everyone at the table ordered a different app on the menu. My favorite was actually the most surprising which was the roasted cauliflower flower dip with whipped eggplant. Holy flavor explosion on the whipped eggplant. It was so savory and creamy and a little spicy. It paired so well with the nutty roasted cauliflower and pita bread. Can't wait to order that again! For my entree, I got the steak frites. I ordered med rare but should have got medium. It was fine, but I could have taken it a bit more cooked. My fault, not theirs. The portion was perfect for me as a 100 lb woman, but maybe not for men. I noticed a lot of the entree portions were quite small? Other than that, no complaints here. And would come back another time.

I visited this location for the first time on Saturday. It's beautiful inside. The food and drinks were great but the service left a bad taste in my mouth. It was stiff and a little awkward until the end of the night. Our waiter Peter seemed to have a rocky start and I was unsure about if he would make it through the night. I was thinking that the service might have been better if we had 2 waiters or if he had assistance to juggle everyone's orders. There was seven in our party. (He left off someone's drink and he sneezed and didn't really turn away to let it out. He blamed it on allergies lol that grossed us out a bit ) My friends' appetizers came out. They shared with the table. I wanted to try some but I have food allergies so when the manager stopped by to check on us I asked her if the food contained that particular allergen and she replied that my waiter would be able to walk me through the menu because she does not know and does not want to tell me wrong thing. I was hoping that she would say that she would ask the kitchen/chef or get a menu to confirm but she reiterated that my waiter would walk me through the menu ( I would've checked myself but menus had been collected by now) That response left me wondering why she even came over to ask how we were doing if she wasn't going to help do anything... As a manager she needs to know what's on the menu or go find out. We didn't see her for the rest of the night after that. Service was better after we ordered food and a second round of drinks maybe I just cared less by then because the night was coming to an end. We were all talking amongst ourselves and a young lady came by to sternly and loudly ask if she could take some of our plates/glasses... later on in the evening she came back by to acknowledge the flowers we had on the table for my friend with a much lighter voice. Are y'all always this awkward or was this a special occasion awk just for us???

Went to Sixty Vines in Winter Park and had a really nice experience overall. The menu leans more toward a tapas style but still offers entrées, which makes it easy to share and try a few things. We had two tapas dishes, the lamb and the beef tenderloin, and both were flavorful with the tenderloin being my personal fav out of the two. We also shared the carbonara, which was pretty good and a solid option if you want something a bit more filling. The location is great, and we were able to sit outside on the corner of a busy street, which made for a fun atmosphere without feeling overwhelming. I especially liked the high top tables outside since it added to the relaxed, social vibe.

2nd time here. We missed brunch but I definitely want to go back for their brunch. We came as they were finishing up and saw some amazing dishes coming out. They also had a mimosa bar with fresh fruit and juice options. Really cute set up. I ended up getting the same good as last time because it was just that good . Truffle potatoes and the shrimp app. My friend really enjoyed the campanelle pasta but wished it was saucier. Tried the carajillo and it was good but super light.. tasted like a really good cold brew rather than a cocktail. I loved the blackberry bourbon cocktail. I can't think of the name right now but it was boozy yet well balanced.

We celebrated Galentines here and it was the perfect spot for our large group! They accommodated us so well, and everything felt organized and seamless from the moment we arrived. Our server was attentive, friendly, and incredibly helpful; especially with managing a bigger table. We never felt rushed, and drinks and food came out in a timely manner. The food was delicious. I ordered the brussel sprouts and the fig & prosciutto pizza and both were so good. The brussel sprouts were flavorful and perfectly cooked, and the pizza had that ideal balance of sweet and savory. Overall, such a great vibe for a girls' night. Would definitely recommend for large groups!

Took my daughter to celebrate her 18th birthday and they put a candle in her dessert. The waiter made her feel so special. What a great memory. We started with bacon wrapped dates and they were tasty. My favorite was my chicken pesto pasta. I shared it with my table and everyone recommended it. The fingerling potatoes that come with the burgers are the bomb! Delicious! I could eat those all day. The filet mignon was drenched in this vinaigrette sauce that really over powered it. If you order the filet mignon, ask for no sauce or put it on the side. Thank you for the great service! Beautiful decor inside. Definitely recommend for celebrations.

This review is long overdue. To the team, I'm sorry I forgot to write it! The cheesecake was quite possibly the best thing I ate in the 8 days I was in town. Make a reservation (probably obvious). When we went, 2nd weds of December, it was packed. Service was fabulous! Food was fabulous. Dr L's Riesling on the menu and a cheesecake that tastes like toasted marshmallows. If you can't tell, this little tourist loved it. Oh and so did my non gluten free significant other!

I had a great dinner at Sixty Vines in Winter Park for one of my friend's birthday. The food was fresh, flavorful, and creatively prepared with standout options like the pizzas and steak dishes. The service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. Our server was welcoming, answered questions about the menu, and kept everything flowing smoothly throughout the evening. The ambiance was lively and stylish with a relaxed yet upbeat vibe that made it a great choice for a dinner with friends. The open interior and well-designed space made it easy to enjoy the whole experience.

Went in for an afternoon lunch and we were there for "Tappy Hour" which was a pleasant surprise! Our waiter, DeMarcus, was so friendly and helpful. Someone in our party was torn on getting the burrata and he got it for us for free which was absolutely amazing! The froze was out of this world!! We will definitely be visiting the one near us in Dr. Phillips as well, and can't wait to try more of the menu. The restaurant is so beautiful and peaceful as well. It wasn't crowded or too noisy either.

Sixty Vines in Winter Park has all the makings of a standout brunch spot-- an open and modern space, fun atmosphere, and an aesthetic greenhouse area that has lots of seating. It was so nice that I had to go twice! I ordered a bottle of champagne and took advantage of the mimosa bar both of these times. Such great juice and topping options! My first time coming here for brunch was just my fiancé and me. We were seated in the greenhouse section. Our server was attentive and quick! We split the Brunch Board, Brunch Burger, and Eggs Benedict. This was all delicious. The side potatoes are AMAZING. My next visit here for brunch was a little different. I came with 6 other ladies for a girl brunch. Our server took a very long time to take our orders (I want to say almost upwards of 30 minutes of waiting at our table). I ordered the Banana Foster French toast which was such a deliciously sweet brunch option. I was able to try the brunch pizza which also was very good! Two of the orders at the table did not come with the requests that we asked (sauce on the side instead of on top the food and a scrambled egg instead of fried egg on the burger), but the food overall is good. I'll definitely be back here :)

Omg have I really not left a review for Sixty Vines?? They're literally one of my favorite restaurants in all of Orlando -- the Winter Park location, in particular, a gem and regular haunt of mine. It's perfect for brunch with the girls, a date night with the hubby, special events, and literally everything else! First, parking is convenient with the lot and garage. No notes. Second, the atmosphere is so bright, fresh, and comfortable. The ambiance is classic and contemporary, without being overly trendy or pretentious. The front atrium with the windows is my favorite spot to sit because of how lovely the light is during the day. Third, the food here is impeccable. If it's on the menu, it's good. I tried various dishes here over the years and none have disappointed. Some heavy-hitters: the House-Made Ricotta w/ Honeycomb, Pan Roasted Mussels, Spicy Sausage Pizza, Creste Di Gallo, and Basque Cheesecake. If you're a wine person? Go no further, because they literally have 60 types of wine here. They do wine samplings and flights; and also have a fun frozen Rose that's great for brunch. Lastly, service here is amazing. I've hosted birthday dinners here for 20 people and they didn't even bat an eye when I made the reservation (no reservation deposit either). I've also attended a baby shower here and it was such a fun and cute event! Sixty Vines worked well with the decorator and event planner to make the day special for my friends and they loved their experience. All in all, just say yes to a Sixty Vines -- you won't be disappointed.

Beet and goat cheese salad. Very good!

Enjoyed another evening at Sixty Vines. Want to go out to dinner and don't have a reservation? The restaurant will sit you in the outside dining area or sit at the bar. A hidden gem, the bar has limited seats at the bar on the atrium side. It much more quieter than sitting on the interior bar seats. Great for people watching. Service was great!! Now for the food. We enjoyed the roasted cauliflower with creamy eggplant dip. Very good. We also enjoyed the crispy zucchini. Enjoyed the beet and goat cheese salad. We always ask the waiter to have the kitchen split in two on separate plates. More than enough to eat. We shared the tri tip steak appetizer. Great flavor a little tough though. Every piece of steak had a thin line of stringy fat. Over all everything was good. We've been here several times and will definitely visit again. Enjoy the photos below.

Pork Chop

Sixty Vines is an upscale chain in the best of ways: the interior is expansive with lots of seats, a varied menu, and affordable prices. It was a bit hectic when we went, and service was less than ideal-- we got abandoned for a bit, the app plates were not taken away the whole meal -- but our server was nice and addressed any concerns with our dishes. I got the pork chop which was absolutely massive. Also the appetizers, the mussels and crispy zucchini, were quite delicious. The steaks received by my friends weren't as strong though.

The aesthetics and atmosphere of this restaurant / wine bar is very Mediterranean / south of France which I adorrrrred especially since I'll be there this summer. Inside is elegant just as well with lovely art pieces, decor and lighting. They just started doing brunch on Sundays when I went so it was nice to experience it and see their curated menu. When I made the reservation I requested a scenic ambiance spot which they had the perfect table for me and my server Erin surprised me with a complimentary glass of bubbles, I assume the prosecco which was such a treat being to start off my birthday lunch! I had some main goals of YES and I NEED, which was a nice bottle of wine, those gorgeous blue and white printed plates, the blue crab cannoli, and the ousters. All of which I received in the best presentation possible. The team at Lorelei even made my lunch ever so special by serving everything on those plates along with enhancing my blue crab cannoli with caviar on the top instead of the regular fish eggs that are placed which I was just full of joy and happiness seeing how special they surprised and customized my dishes for me! The bottle of Sauvignon blanc also a perfectly complimented my oysters as well as the cannolis. Overall, Lorelei did not disappoint me and met all of my expectations and desires with the perfect birthday lunch with my favorite besties! I can't wait to come back again for some small bites and tapas or even experience the wine tasting events they hold!

Quicksand Bar à Vin - Happy Hour - skin contact (orange wine)

Quicksand Bar à Vin

Colonialtown North, Mills50

5 Star update to include their incredible new food program! (Get the carrots and red cabbage salad…read moreand the pan con tomate STAT.) Quicksand is a natural wine bar that will change the way Orlandoans expect to feel at a bar. Pro-tip: ask the staff for suggestions and settle in! It's no secret that I've become a big fan of natural wine in the past few years, and that is 100% due to Golden Hour - a wine shop in Baldwin Park that I randomly discovered on their first day open. Heather, who brought us Golden Hour, opened Quicksand in late 2024 for those of us wondering why Orlando doesn't have a great wine bar like the ones we've seen in cities around the world for decades. ***Finding the bar: Quicksand is located directly next to Educe Salon (across from Black Bean Deli). It does not have a big sign, but it's the first door you'll see as you walk from the parking lot. ***Parking: Did I mention the large parking lot? There's plenty of parking available there, or on street behind the bar. ***Service style: As you walk in, head to the part of the bar closest to the entrance where you can get recs from their staff and don't have to try to bully your way through folks sitting at the bar to get their attention. ## Did I mention that everything here is intentional? From that simple detail that makes ordering another glass MUCH easier than flagging someone down in the middle of the bar, to the position of the speakers... *** The Food: Chef Leah Cordova has crafted a seasonal menu at Quicksand, currently consisting of sandwiches, small plates, and some heartier dishes. All of them have a focus on quality ingredients with many sourcing their components from local farms or special producers. My faves include: - Pan con tomate: The tomato here is actually a combination of fresh slices of small tomatoes as well as another preparation that adds a wonderful tang. It's truly a special version of this small dish. - Whichever salad they are featuring, but special mention to the carrot and red cabbage salad that has just the perfect amount of fennel! - The white bean dish. I didn't catch the name, but it's a winner! - Cacio e pepe: This is exactly the rich, creamy dish you are dreaming of. - Whichever ice cream they are featuring (Chef Leah also operated Sweet Thyme, her ice-cream project with inventive flavors. Faves include the black pepper and date as well as the carrot cake) ***Ambiance: As you walk in you'll feel enveloped in a warm glow of subtle sconces and feel immediately comfortable. It feels like Quicksand has always been here. It's unstuffy, unfussy, and so inviting it has me researching squatter's rights... The music will sound loud at first, but then you'll realize you don't have to raise your voice at all to talk to people. This is because the speakers have been built into the furniture low and towards the floor. INTENTIONALITY. Besides the volume, the playlist has been painstakingly curated by the team so that you'll enjoy the music, but not quite be able to place the artist. ***The WHY And now, my favorite part. The wall of farmers/winemakers. Someone on staff filled me in to the fact that these are portraits of the various human beings who farm, harvest, and create the wines you can get at the bar. These are actual people, not giant corporations. And that same staff member reminded me that these individual producers are farmers for 11 months and 2 weeks of the year, and wine makers for only 2 weeks. None of these people are household names. None of them are in it for the money. They are in it to produce beautiful wine the way it has been produced since the beginning of wine-making: with minimal intervention, meaning no insane additives that give me headaches; and no mass production. The thing I've come to love about "natural" wine is that it is intensely principled. Quicksand is what happens when *every single link* in the supply chain (Farmer/Producer; Importer; Distributor; and Wine Bar) prioritizes principles over profits. And you can feel it the moment you walk in. This is not a corporate chain, nor will you find multiple locations and franchises. Not only is the wine list filled with some of the most incredible bottles I've had the pleasure of trying (many of which you can't get anywhere else in Florida), but the staff truly believes in the power of creating this special "third space" for a community to gather around good, ethically-sourced wine. I can't wait until they start serving bites alongside the wine! (Someone told me the small menu will consist of cheeses, charcuterie, focaccia, chips, etc.) SALUD!

It was not too pepper forward (which I prefer). I was excited to try this out of the way wine bar, but was a little disappointed that their extensive list is more bottles and not by the glass. Just putting this out there for awareness since I will plan to come in for some food and be able to pair with a bottle of wine to explore the full experience. The staff was very knowledgeable about all of the different wines and helped to select the best glass for what I was in the mood for that evening. The bar was very clean and there is a lot more space then what you see when you first walk in. It was all very clean and modern looking inside. Looking forward to my next trip in.

There were about 16 of us in the group, and when I first arrived, it was pretty packed -- I almost didn't get a seat. They have comfortable seating and fans on the walls, which helped keep things cool and cozy. It's definitely a great spot to get together after work and wind down with friends, coworkers, or even new people. Trivia Night was a blast! The host kept everyone entertained, engaged, and laughing throughout the evening. It felt very well-organized and had a nice community feel -- I'd absolutely go again for that experience alone. A few things did surprise me, though. Since it's a wine bar, I expected mostly alcoholic drinks, but their Instagram made it seem like they also offered non-alcoholic options. When I asked for a soda, I was told they only serve alcohol -- no soft drinks, no mocktails. So if you're not drinking, plan to bring your own or grab something before you go. Later in the night, I got hungry. Their Instagram also gave me the impression that they served food, but they actually don't -- the food comes from a food truck around the back. When I went to order, the lady running the truck told me, "I'd rather sell out...," which threw me off. I wasn't sure what she meant, but it came across as rude or maybe even personal, which was disappointing since I was ready to buy something. That said, I don't hold that against Grape and The Grain itself. The staff inside were kind and welcoming, the crowd was friendly, and the overall vibe was great. For the atmosphere, comfort, and fun trivia experience, they get a full 5 stars from me. I'll definitely be back -- next time I'll just eat beforehand and bring my own non-alcoholic drink!

Blue cheese stuffed olives were a dollar a piece and tasted great but don't think I needed the 3 that was automatically given. They did seem hand stuffed with fresh blue cheese instead of the already made kind so it tasted better than most Having been to a few of their other Good Salt group restaurants, this definitely had their signature touch with all the details and the delicious menu. I like checking out all their locations. Another one of restaurant was a few doors down The server forgot my simple request for ice and lemons in the beginning when ordering just water. She also didn't check on us after dropping off the drinks and had to get someone else nearby for more olive juice when my dirty martini seemed to have missed the dirty part. Getting the check seemed to be a task, no server in sight, and had to grab another employee to ask for it From just ordering waters and martinis, service was quite lacking. I get that it was a slow night but maybe tending to the only table around should have been an easy task and being a little more tentative for the few times a server was needed would have gone a long way
