Place looked very nice from the outside, had a to wait a bit for a table but there was a MASSIVE baby shower letting out at the same time I got there so that most likely had something to do with it. The interior kinda has a hipster-rustic vibe but with more comfortable chairs. Prices seemed reasonable. Service seemed a bit overwheled but again, I think the massive event letting out had something to do with that. I got a cheese board, truffled fries, fried chicken caviar, and a deviled affogato for dessert. My date for the creste di gallo and the olive oil citrus cake. Everything was was very good, with the standout being the fries; I know that truffle essence flavor isn't for everyone but it worked really well for me in the fry sauce. My dates pasta was also very good, the pesto sauce was zesty and complimented it well. And I really like the olive oil cake with mascarpone, super light and perfectly sweet. The very minor issues were that the fried chicken was pretty deeply fried and way harder than expected, which I don't mind but may not be your thing. Devil's food cake at the bottom of the affogato was also not as sweet as I would have liked. Overall a really enjoyable experience. Would definitely recommend. read more

This is a classic and ol' reliable place in Winter Park for a nice meal or cocktails. I've been for special events, brunch and dinner -- and it's always good. My only gripes -- it can get VERY loud... like, too loud. Especially if you're with your Grandma and trying to have a conversation. Also, it can be a bit pricy and the items add up. Don't order an espresso martini with reposado because it'll cost about $35. The servers are always on point and I feel are knowledgeable about the menu and the drinks. Thankfully, one of them warned me about the espresso martini cost so I dodged that bullet. I love the wine options and there's so many amazing ones to try. Food Quality & Taste- 4/5 Sixty Vines is a top tier experience. The food is excellent! The salmon was seasoned very well and cooked to my requested temperature the first time. The Carrot Cake Pancakes were very good. Quite sweet, so next time I'm going to request no toppings and just maple syrup. But the pancakes were fluffy and very tasty. The beet salad was also great...if you're a beet person. The Pizzas are also great. The crust is cooked light, so if you're like me, I request a well done pizza. I've gone several times and will continue to keep Sixty Vines on the top of the list. Service- 5/5 Service was excellent. I felt "catered" to. The service was quick and courteous. My fries came out cold and the server quickly and politely took them away and brought new fries. I appreciated that. We were checked on many times and the water glass remained full. Great service! Atmosphere- 5/5 Such a nice atmosphere. The decor is stunning and really transports you into a different time and place. It's my understanding that the different sections of the restaurant have different names, which is pretty cool. I love that they have a wide selection of gluten free and vegetarian meals although I am not either but have friends who are and I know that they appreciate all the options. Recently came here with a large group for a bday party and our 1 server handled all 17 of us excellently. Not 1 order messed up. All food came out at the same time and served hot. We also weren't bogged down waiting to pay either which shows efficiency. Almost everyone at the table ordered a different app on the menu. My favorite was actually the most surprising which was the roasted cauliflower flower dip with whipped eggplant. Holy flavor explosion on the whipped eggplant. It was so savory and creamy and a little spicy. It paired so well with the nutty roasted cauliflower and pita bread. Can't wait to order that again! For my entree, I got the steak frites. I ordered med rare but should have got medium. It was fine, but I could have taken it a bit more cooked. My fault, not theirs. The portion was perfect for me as a 100 lb woman, but maybe not for men. I visited this location for the first time on Saturday. It's beautiful inside. The food and drinks were great but the service left a bad taste in my mouth. It was stiff and a little awkward until the end of the night. Our waiter Peter seemed to have a rocky start and I was unsure about if he would make it through the night. I was thinking that the service might have been better if we had 2 waiters or if he had assistance to juggle everyone's orders. There was seven in our party. (He left off someone's drink and he sneezed and didn't really turn away to let it out. He blamed it on allergies lol that grossed us out a bit ) My friends' appetizers came out. They shared with the table. I wanted to try some but I have food allergies so when the manager stopped by to check on us I asked her if the food contained that particular allergen and she replied that my waiter would be able to walk me through the menu because she does not know and does not want to tell me wrong thing. I was hoping that she would say that she would ask the kitchen/chef or get a menu to confirm but she reiterated that my waiter would walk me through the menu ( I would've checked myself but menus had been collected by now) That response left me wondering why she even came over to ask how we were doing if she wasn't going to help do anything... As a manager she needs to know what's on the menu or go find out. We didn't see her for the rest of the night after that. Service was better after we ordered food and a second round of drinks maybe I just cared less by then because the night was coming to an end. They also had a mimosa bar with fresh fruit and juice options. Really cute set up. I ended up getting the same good as last time because it was just that good . Went to Sixty Vines in Winter Park and had a really nice experience overall. The menu leans more toward a tapas style but still offers entrées, which makes it easy to share and try a few things. We had two tapas dishes, the lamb and the beef tenderloin, and both were flavorful with the tenderloin being my personal fav out of the two. We also shared the carbonara, which was pretty good and a solid option if you want something a bit more filling. The location is great, and we were able to sit outside on the corner of a busy street, which made for a fun atmosphere without feeling overwhelming. Omg have I really not left a review for Sixty Vines?? They're literally one of my favorite restaurants in all of Orlando -- the Winter Park location, in particular, a gem and regular haunt of mine. It's perfect for brunch with the girls, a date night with the hubby, special events, and literally everything else! First, parking is convenient with the lot and garage. No notes. Second, the atmosphere is so bright, fresh, and comfortable. The ambiance is classic and contemporary, without being overly trendy or pretentious. The front atrium with the windows is my favorite spot to sit because of how lovely the light is during the day. Third, the food here is impeccable. If it's on the menu, it's good. I tried various dishes here over the years and none have disappointed. Some heavy-hitters: the House-Made Ricotta w/ Honeycomb, Pan Roasted Mussels, Spicy Sausage Pizza, Creste Di Gallo, and Basque Cheesecake. If you're a wine person? Go no further, because they literally have 60 types of wine here. They do wine samplings and flights; and also have a fun frozen Rose that's great for brunch. Lastly, service here is amazing. I've hosted birthday dinners here for 20 people and they didn't even bat an eye when I made the reservation (no reservation deposit either). I've also attended a baby shower here and it was such a fun and cute event! This restaurant was highly recommended by the couple that we went with. I ordered a Caesar Salad, pork Chop and French fries. The Caesar salad was slightly soggy and not very fresh. The French fries came out cold and soggy twice. The third time they were delivered by the manager who said that they were just made. In my 62 years of eating French Fries, although not cold and soggy, they were not fresh out of the fryer. My Pork chop was excellent. Seasoned and cooked perfectly which made for a very flavorful chop. The desserts, Olive Oil Cake, and a chocolate expresso cake were unique offerings. Our server was very knowledgeable and passionate about the food but they sat all of his tables at once which resulted in weak service. Went in for an afternoon lunch and we were there for "Tappy Hour" which was a pleasant surprise! Our waiter, DeMarcus, was so friendly and helpful. Someone in our party was torn on getting the burrata and he got it for us for free which was absolutely amazing! The froze was out of this world!! A hidden gem, the bar has limited seats at the bar on the atrium side. It much more quieter than sitting on the interior bar seats. Great for people watching. Service was great!! Now for the food. We enjoyed the roasted cauliflower with creamy eggplant dip. Very good. We also enjoyed the crispy zucchini. Enjoyed the beet and goat cheese salad. It was a bit hectic when we went, and service was less than ideal-- we got abandoned for a bit, the app plates were not taken away the whole meal -- but our server was nice and addressed any concerns with our dishes. This place is a Winter Park GEM! We've been coming here for years, and I just realized I've never given this place it's well deserved five star review! Now where do I begin.. well, let's say this place is literally perfect for anything. I've done friend catch ups, birthday dinners, baby showers - they're literally perfect for any sort of event. They have a private event space of the left of the building on the other side of the bar that they can close off for private events, and it's literally perfect! The venue is also huge, so we've never really had trouble getting a table, and reservations are a breeze. Service is spectacular too. They really want to make sure you have a good time, and enjoy the food and ambiance. Staff is well trained in that manner and I've always been impressed with their employees. Last but definitely not least, the food. They're Italian fare, and their pasta (CAMPANELLE)!! and pizza (SPICY SAUSAGE!!) have so far been greatttt! Their cheese boards are also a sleeper hit, so many options, so it's guaranteed it's one of their star dishes to order. They also do brunch, but I'm not particularly a brunch foodie, so I'll defer to my astute colleagues on commenting on that. But I have to say, their drinks so sooo good. We have been wanting to try this restaurant for some time and finally made it. Very nice inside; however, I was curious as to their seating. They had many tables that sat about 10 people at a table. They also had low tables for smaller groups and high-top tables for four. I asked the manager why the tables for 10 people? He explained to me that they seat different people at these larger tables to encourage people talking to each other and making new friends, which he said happens many times. How wonderful is this?! Either the glasses are bigger now or the serving size has shrunk--because what came out felt like a kids' portion. Strike one. Still delicious, though. Next, here come strike 2, a random young man dropped off the wrong appetizer at our table. He didn't say a word or make eye contact--just placed it down and walked off. I tried calling him back three times, but he kept going. We laughed, but it really wasn't funny. He eventually realized the mistake and came back to swap it. For the record, we didn't touch it--we just set it aside. Then the drinks arrived... and they were all wrong. Thankfully, our main waitress fixed that quickly. When the main meals came out, the food itself was actually very good. That said, the brunch menu feels a little underwhelming--they could definitely expand it. Strike three came at the end: we were ready to pay, but after receiving the bill, we spent nearly 10 minutes trying to get our waitress's attention so we could hand her our card and leave. It felt like they were either short-staffed or under new management, because I noticed another table nearby having the same issue. Maybe they're stronger during dinner service, but brunch today was a miss. Still love the space and the concept--but the execution needs tightening. Three stars and I felt like everything was pretty and comfortable but the food didn't hit the mark for me. It may just be me, but low on seasoning. I would have to try more items on the menu to find my go to. I did try four appetizers and they were good but not too much seasoning, very natural flavor food that I am sure of healthy. We had the house salad, crispy zucchini, truffle parm potatoes, carrots, and roasted chicken. The chicken was one of the best roast chicken dishes I have had in Orlando... highly recommend! Not a big issue but just minor inconvenience. The men's restroom was flooding with water! It can happen to any place. I had their Brussel's sprouts and fried zucchini and both were very good. Beat salad was nice and tasty but did not sit well and kind of ran through me in 6 hours or so. May be just not for me. Drinks were interesting with pink wheels up! and sweet old fashioned for whole table to share. I think pizza was good. Burrata was actually the best item of all things we ordered.
