We went to Flutes for our monthly book meetup and it was extremely beautiful inside. They had a nice variety of wine options. Staff were nice. I personally would not go back since I am not a big wine fan, but for anyone who enjoys a calm vibe this is the place. I do wish they offered appetizers or different food options since it was only drinks. Overall, not bad.

I visited Flutes on Valentine's night and although it was a holiday it was not super busy. Arriving I noted that it's very cute outside but it was little confusing because we weren't sure if we should seat ourselves or wait to be seated. This was definitely a negative to me - we weren't greeted. After a brief moment took a table near the front. Maybe after 15 minutes someone came over to take our order. The ambiance is top tier. It's pretty small and cozy, with gorgeous decor. It's a mix of romantic luxury but causal at the same time. This night was a first showing of burlesque show. It was two performers; both pretty brief. The drink menu has a lot of choices and it was recommended that I order the Banfi Rosa Regale because I was looking for something sweet. I also order the chocolate trio. I'm unsure about what food options (I'd eaten dinner before; but I did see someone with a cheese board) The champagne and chocolate, didn't disappoint. It was perfect to end the night. Definitely would recommend.

Gorgeous new champagne bar. I love that Flutes specializes in champagne by the glass. Often you can only get champagne by the bottle. Had extensive wine and champagne offerings. Nice chocolate pairings for the champagne. Decor was gorgeous. Interior very clean. Bartender was very nice and provided excellent service. She was also very knowledgeable and answered all of questions and made great recommendations based on our palet requests. I recommend and would return.

Such a cute date night or girls night spot in Winter Park! This was my 2nd time at Flutes and me and my girlfriends had a great time! There was plenty of seating available when we arrived around 7:30pm on a Friday night. Parking is always tough in Winter Park Village so this is the only downside. I ordered two cocktails from their Summer Spritz menu and they were both great. My favorite was the Everything She Wants cocktail. It had pineapple and IPA in it which was unique. The Moulin Rouge spritz was also great with a cute gummy bear toothpick presentation. A little on the pricier side! Service was great!

I went here for Valentine's Day last weekend and really had a great time. The ambiance is very chill but gives romantic vibes . I liked that they have a great assortment of wines and spirits to choose from and the music is a nice touch. They also had a burlesque show which was really cool. It was my first time seeing one . I went with my friend for galentines day and was surprised. It wasn't super packed either . The service was nice . The only thing I wished was that we were greeted . I didn't know whether to sit myself or of someone would come up to seat us but we wind up finding a seat . I also enjoyed the assorted chocolates . It was 3 for 9 dollars. The wine and drinks are fair in price ranging from 12- 30. Depending if your getting a glass or bottle. Overall I have a great experience. I also liked the ambiance and art work .

I've been a fan of Flutes since their opening about a year ago or so now. While they are one of the smaller wine & champagne bars (not the smallest might I add), they really pack in a beautiful BIG punch with not just the decor, but their wine list is also quite nice. With room for growth - which I am sure they will continue to do so - this wine & champagne bar is truly a one-of-kind spot. Located in the Winter Park Village, Flutes Champagne Bar benefits by being surrounded by a plethora of other eateries and shoppes. Should you start elsewhere and end at Flutes for a nightcap, you will not be disappointed. The overall interior decor pulls from the very trendy mid-century modern influences that many restaurants and bars have been influenced by. They use beautiful pop culture pieces for the various art throughout the space. They offer some minimal outdoor seating, bar seating and table and booth seating. The wait times are standard pending the time of day you go, and the staff is super kind. The day a few of my friends and I went, our server, Allie, was exceptional. She had great knowledge of the wine list and was very attentive for the entirety of our time there. Also, depending on the day you go, they will have live performances - which is always a lovely treat. Now onto the good stuff: the food and drinks! As the name suggests, FLUTES Champagne Bar definitely puts emphasis on their champagne options. As a fan of champagne and Proseccos, I usually stay within that realm when I visit Flutes (also the flute glass is just the cutest) unless I really want my favorite: rose wine. While I am no wine connoisseur, and I've really only had a fraction of what they have to offer, I can say confidently, what I have had has been really delightful. As far as the foods go, they only offer small plates / bites. So, do not come here with an empty stomach. You will be sorely disappointed. However, their small bites are tasty and, in all honesty, really good enough for just one person but can definitely be shared if all parties just want a little something to nibble on as they indulge in their beverages. Overall, very cute bar. Price points are higher as they tend to be in Winter Park in general. However, they aren't too pricey where it doesn't make sense to visit for a quick glass. They do have a happy hour - which I believe concludes at 6:00 PM so, keep that in mind. And please please please be cognizant of the fact that Winter Park Village Plaza is a busy plaza. While there is ample parking it does fill up quickly - especially the closer to the weekend we approach. It is also free. So, no need to worry about paying for parking - unless you choose to valet. Nonetheless, if you have not been, definitely pay them a visit! It will be worth the while!

Wandered in here randomly and I have no regrets! The decor was so nice. The violinist was talented and was playing some very familiar neo soul tunes. My friend and I grabbed a glass of Prosecco each and we both agreed we'd be back for happy hour. The bartender was pleasant and very helpful.

I absolutely love this place and the service! The decor and ambiance are perfect for a date night after having dinner in the area. There was a saxophone player performing everything from 2000s R&B classics to Bad Bunny which sealed the deal for me! I ordered a glass of my favorite red wine ,Sangue de vida, which is on the sweeter side and we ended the night walking around the plaza. Overall 10/10 will definitely be back!

Great experience with friends here. What an adorable place. Love that half bottles were an option and the cheese platter paired very nicely with the Tattinger. We were so glad the server was knowledgeable on the menu to help us sort out our decision. She brought a few samples as well. Always nice to be able to try.

Such a classy and cute little bar. Went on a Friday night and it was packed, but we got lucky with a seat at the bar. The place is impecibly decorated and they had fun music playing with a DJ. My friend and I got a bottle of riesling and it was fantastic and actually well priced. They had cute little dessert options, but we did not indulge. Really nice date spot or wine night out.

Flutes is one of my favorite stops when in Winter Park Village! They have an awesome happy hour, and there usually is live music. I love the large selection of bubbles with options from all around the world. The glasses can be a bit expensive, so I like to get a bottle with a group. Definitely check out Flutes next time you're looking for a fun night in Winter Park!

Hidden gem in Winter Park. Flautes is a new champagne bar located in Winter Park village. Great customer service, staff is so friendly and helpful. They have a inside and ouside sitting with great decor. A modern luxury look and live music with a saxophone artist. Perfect for a date or hang out with friends. They have a great selection of quality champagne and wine. Also they have some food like charcuterie boards and chocolates to pair with your drink. I got the rasberry dark chocolate and a milk chocolate.

Very fun experience and welcome addition to winter park village. The menu is large and well varied so you will definitely find some bubbly or wine that suits your tastes. Of course, I must warn you that a drink here is minimum $15. Some glasses being closer to $25 so if you come with a group, check into the bottle service. My only small gripe here was really the cheese plate. For $22 I expected something a bit elevated vs the I could have DIYed this easily at home version. They charge $22 for what really does look like an assortment of items directly off of the grocery store shelf. It tasted fine-but a few more accoutrements would have been nice. I was planning to try the chocolate flight as well, but was a little underwhelmed with the cheese so it was a skip. But I wouldn't pass this place up due to the food. It's primary a wine bar and was a really nice space to spend time with friends. The live music was amazing and the space was cozy and comfortable while being super chic. And bonus points for great service. Despite it becoming quite busy, the server checked in frequently. I will look forward to returning soon. Heads up that the parking lot can get very busy as times and spaces are hard to come by but the valet service is complimentary.

    Demure decor, glitzy glam.

The interior kinda has a hipster-rustic vibe but with more comfortable chairs. Prices seemed reasonable. Service seemed a bit overwheled but again, I think the massive event letting out had something to do with that. I got a cheese board, truffled fries, fried chicken caviar, and a deviled affogato for dessert. My date for the creste di gallo and the olive oil citrus cake. Everything was was very good, with the standout being the fries; I know that truffle essence flavor isn't for everyone but it worked really well for me in the fry sauce. My dates pasta was also very good, the pesto sauce was zesty and complimented it well. And I really like the olive oil cake with mascarpone, super light and perfectly sweet. The very minor issues were that the fried chicken was pretty deeply fried and way harder than expected, which I don't mind but may not be your thing. Devil's food cake at the bottom of the affogato was also not as sweet as I would have liked. Overall a really enjoyable experience. Would definitely recommend.

5 Star update to include their incredible new food program! (Get the carrots and red cabbage salad…read moreand the pan con tomate STAT.) Quicksand is a natural wine bar that will change the way Orlandoans expect to feel at a bar. Pro-tip: ask the staff for suggestions and settle in! It's no secret that I've become a big fan of natural wine in the past few years, and that is 100% due to Golden Hour - a wine shop in Baldwin Park that I randomly discovered on their first day open. Heather, who brought us Golden Hour, opened Quicksand in late 2024 for those of us wondering why Orlando doesn't have a great wine bar like the ones we've seen in cities around the world for decades. ***Finding the bar: Quicksand is located directly next to Educe Salon (across from Black Bean Deli). It does not have a big sign, but it's the first door you'll see as you walk from the parking lot. ***Parking: Did I mention the large parking lot? There's plenty of parking available there, or on street behind the bar. ***Service style: As you walk in, head to the part of the bar closest to the entrance where you can get recs from their staff and don't have to try to bully your way through folks sitting at the bar to get their attention. ## Did I mention that everything here is intentional? From that simple detail that makes ordering another glass MUCH easier than flagging someone down in the middle of the bar, to the position of the speakers... *** The Food: Chef Leah Cordova has crafted a seasonal menu at Quicksand, currently consisting of sandwiches, small plates, and some heartier dishes. All of them have a focus on quality ingredients with many sourcing their components from local farms or special producers. My faves include: - Pan con tomate: The tomato here is actually a combination of fresh slices of small tomatoes as well as another preparation that adds a wonderful tang. It's truly a special version of this small dish. - Whichever salad they are featuring, but special mention to the carrot and red cabbage salad that has just the perfect amount of fennel! - The white bean dish. I didn't catch the name, but it's a winner! - Cacio e pepe: This is exactly the rich, creamy dish you are dreaming of. - Whichever ice cream they are featuring (Chef Leah also operated Sweet Thyme, her ice-cream project with inventive flavors. Faves include the black pepper and date as well as the carrot cake) ***Ambiance: As you walk in you'll feel enveloped in a warm glow of subtle sconces and feel immediately comfortable. It feels like Quicksand has always been here. It's unstuffy, unfussy, and so inviting it has me researching squatter's rights... The music will sound loud at first, but then you'll realize you don't have to raise your voice at all to talk to people. This is because the speakers have been built into the furniture low and towards the floor. INTENTIONALITY. Besides the volume, the playlist has been painstakingly curated by the team so that you'll enjoy the music, but not quite be able to place the artist. ***The WHY And now, my favorite part. The wall of farmers/winemakers. Someone on staff filled me in to the fact that these are portraits of the various human beings who farm, harvest, and create the wines you can get at the bar. These are actual people, not giant corporations. And that same staff member reminded me that these individual producers are farmers for 11 months and 2 weeks of the year, and wine makers for only 2 weeks. None of these people are household names. None of them are in it for the money. They are in it to produce beautiful wine the way it has been produced since the beginning of wine-making: with minimal intervention, meaning no insane additives that give me headaches; and no mass production. The thing I've come to love about "natural" wine is that it is intensely principled. Quicksand is what happens when *every single link* in the supply chain (Farmer/Producer; Importer; Distributor; and Wine Bar) prioritizes principles over profits. And you can feel it the moment you walk in. This is not a corporate chain, nor will you find multiple locations and franchises. Not only is the wine list filled with some of the most incredible bottles I've had the pleasure of trying (many of which you can't get anywhere else in Florida), but the staff truly believes in the power of creating this special "third space" for a community to gather around good, ethically-sourced wine. I can't wait until they start serving bites alongside the wine! (Someone told me the small menu will consist of cheeses, charcuterie, focaccia, chips, etc.) SALUD!

The staff was very knowledgeable about all of the different wines and helped to select the best glass for what I was in the mood for that evening. The bar was very clean and there is a lot more space then what you see when you first walk in. It was all very clean and modern looking inside. Looking forward to my next trip in.

It's definitely a great spot to get together after work and wind down with friends, coworkers, or even new people. Trivia Night was a blast! The host kept everyone entertained, engaged, and laughing throughout the evening. It felt very well-organized and had a nice community feel -- I'd absolutely go again for that experience alone. A few things did surprise me, though. Since it's a wine bar, I expected mostly alcoholic drinks, but their Instagram made it seem like they also offered non-alcoholic options. When I asked for a soda, I was told they only serve alcohol -- no soft drinks, no mocktails. So if you're not drinking, plan to bring your own or grab something before you go. Later in the night, I got hungry. Their Instagram also gave me the impression that they served food, but they actually don't -- the food comes from a food truck around the back. When I went to order, the lady running the truck told me, "I'd rather sell out...," which threw me off. I wasn't sure what she meant, but it came across as rude or maybe even personal, which was disappointing since I was ready to buy something. That said, I don't hold that against Grape and The Grain itself. The staff inside were kind and welcoming, the crowd was friendly, and the overall vibe was great. For the atmosphere, comfort, and fun trivia experience, they get a full 5 stars from me. I'll definitely be back -- next time I'll just eat beforehand and bring my own non-alcoholic drink!

Came in late night just to check out their $10 Monday martinis. There was limited options to just a plain or dirty vodka or gin martini. No other variations or anything else from their cocktail menu was part of this deal. Blue cheese stuffed olives were a dollar a piece and tasted great but don't think I needed the 3 that was automatically given. They did seem hand stuffed with fresh blue cheese instead of the already made kind so it tasted better than most Having been to a few of their other Good Salt group restaurants, this definitely had their signature touch with all the details and the delicious menu. I like checking out all their locations. Another one of restaurant was a few doors down The server forgot my simple request for ice and lemons in the beginning when ordering just water. She also didn't check on us after dropping off the drinks and had to get someone else nearby for more olive juice when my dirty martini seemed to have missed the dirty part. Getting the check seemed to be a task, no server in sight, and had to grab another employee to ask for it From just ordering waters and martinis, service was quite lacking. I get that it was a slow night but maybe tending to the only table around should have been an easy task and being a little more tentative for the few times a server was needed would have gone a long way
