We've visited Vinia multiple times for date nights, and each visit has been a delight. I like how dimly lit it is because it feels more intimate that way. The service is excellent, and on one occasion, we met one of the owners, who charmed us. I enjoy the fixed menu with the wine selection included. Our favorite dish is the oxtail with that ridiculously soft gnocchi, but we've never been disappointed with anything we've ordered. The food is consistently delicious!

Inside dining is limited but they have some outdoor tables too!

Let me first say the food was 10 out of 10!! I cleaned every plate I had and truly enjoyed every moment! I also am soooo happy with all the plant based options I had. The pumpkin crème brûlée - I haven't ever got to enjoy crème brûlée and I could have had five of those easily :D We came to celebrate my friend's birthday and the atmosphere of the restaurant and how kind the servers were to make a special moment for her was something we soon won't forget! My feedback would be that this restaurant is a little pricey(which I get for the area it is in but still). But the portion sizes are a little too small. $14 for a 2 1/2 inch empanada and mini side salad that's 3 by 3 inches, $23 for pumpkin and cauliflower in what most restaurants would consider a side dish size, and $8 for a crème brûlée that's maybe an inch deep and 4 inches wide is a little bit steep for what I'm getting. Don't get me wrong, it's really good, just too little for too much. Regardless, I can see myself returning, but it would be for a special occasion just due to pricing and size portions.

This was a very intimate experience with excellent customer service. I came here recently for my best friends birthday and our server/wine expert was so patient, knowledgeable and kind. She took care of 8 with ease and made my friends birthday special. The ambiance here is very romantic with soft lighting and light music. They have a really great special where you can get a three course menu with wine for $59. You get to pick the appetizer, entree and desert and each course comes with wine pairing offered with that dish. It was a great experience for everyone to choose their items. The birthday boy is actually vegan and I thought it was amazing that they offer vegan options for every category. They also gave him a complimentary prosecco class as well. For the wine, they have a very excellent selection of wines including sparkling, white, red, rose and some sweet options. I personally really enjoy sweet wine and loved the Sangue Di Guida. For food, I tried some of my friends dishes but I personally just got the Charcuteries and Fromages. The server was correct to say it's a good portion for the price. It also had a lovely presentation. In fact all dishes had a gorgeous presentation. I can't speak for everyone on flavor but I can say that the consensus was everyone enjoyed their dishes but no one was "amazed". I would need to try a full dish myself to make a wholesome reaction. For my charcuterie I found each item to be tasty, you can't go wrong with cheese though! Some crackers would've been nice. Everyone was obsessed with the warm bread. I will agree it was very good. Overall it was a great experience and I would certainly like to return and try the 3 course deal with the wine pairing.

My wife found this place and let me tell you it's a gem in the Winter Park area. Fabio the owner was very hospitable and his staff was giving us great service. The food was well portioned and packed with flavors. Creative menu items and very gluten free friendly. The ambiance was also great. The decor and background music added to the experience. We will be returning and bringing some friends.

First of all, I loved just walking up to Vinia! It's located on such a cute street! Walking into the restaurant, we were greeted by friendly staff and an intimate dining room, which we loved. There was an extensive wine list and a tempting limited menu that we could wait to try. We went for Orlando Magical Dining Month. I had the privilege with pumpkin compote!! Yyyeeessss!!!! Then, for my main course, I had the Arrosto di Maiale with Zucca Al Cartoccio! I knew it was going to be good but I didn't know it would be soooo delicious! I was thrilled! The pork was perfectly cooked. Loved this plate! To finish it off, I had the crème brûlée a delicious sweet treat to finish off this terrific meal! Definitely make this one of your next stops!

Loved the atmosphere, Fabio, and the food. Completely relaxing dinner. We started with the Italian Starter comprised of the best eggplant caponata, grilled marinated artichokes, and olives. We will double up on the caponata next time. Great texture and flavor with the surprise of candied nuts in it. We also shared the beet filled ravioli verde topped with a melon chutney, another unique winner. Our final dish was the potato and zucchini roulade, also crave-able. Fabio was fantastic in helping us make our selections. Prices are reasonable. Looking forward to our next visit. This is also a great place to bring your vegan friends since they have a substantial selection of vegan dishes

Being Brazilian and appreciating both Brazilian and European cuisine, and also knowing that the owners were Brazilian and that the menu featured Brazilian, Italian, and Spanish dishes (and perhaps others, but these are the ones I remember), I had been eyeing this restaurant for a while and considering trying their Bite30 and Magical Dining menus. I ended up dining here on a regular menu on a random Friday night and was not disappointed. The atmosphere is intimate, and the service is very attentive. For starters, we ordered the Brazilian cheese bread with guava sauce and the flatbread with pesto. Both were delicious, but the portions were quite small for the price. The "Rabo de Toro," braised oxtail, however, was what surprised me the most -- the meat was meltingly tender, and the slightly salty flavor was balanced out by the starchy gnocchi. Last but not least, the wine list is excellent, and if you're not well-versed in wine, ask the server for recommendations -- they'll offer the perfect pairing. My glass of Rioja paired beautifully with everything I ate.

First thing worth mentioning, and there are SO many great things worth mentioning, is that the owner, Fabio is awesome! I called last minute hoping I might be able to snag a reservation for six people. And Fabio went above and beyond to make it happen! It was SO nice. As if he isn't awesome enough, our server was also top notch. Shout out to C for taking such great care of us! Safe to say service is amazing, but what about the meal? Double amazing! The food was stellar. Beautiful presentation and flavor. There was a nice mix of classic and creative dishes on the menu. Our table enjoyed a variety with most of us opting for magical dining. The majority of us selected the braised oxtail with gnocchi and WOW! The only suggestion I can possible give to the restaurant is to please quadruple the portion ha! It was so divine I could have eaten it all day. Such pillowy soft gnocchi and tender meat make for a great combo! For dessert we had the chocolate pot de creme and the squash panacotta. Both were excellent and I absolutely love that squash made an appearance during dessert! Vinia is a quaint restaurant that offers an intimate dining experience. There was live music which wasn't overpowering our conversation. I will definitely plan a quick return. Thanks, Fabio and team!

Recently went with friends to check out Magical Dining and this Winter Park gem. We went on a Thursday so there was live music but not so loud that we couldn't hear each other. I highly recommend making a reservation as it is a small and quaint little place. Our server helped with a wine recommendation. We started with a charcuterie board which would have been plenty for us. But we also split the Burrata, Brazilian cheese bread (personal fav) and eggplant flan. For mains, we split the cioppino, oxtail gnocchi and pork tenderloin. Everything was cooked to perfection and quite flavorful, not overpowering. The pork came with three medallions and topped with an amazing gravy (fav!) For dessert, we split a few of the pot de creme and affogato. Both were a light finishing touch to an overall great meal and night out with friends.

I had been eager to try this spot for ages and finally made it for Happy Hour and Magical Dining! We booked a table on the outdoor patio, but the restaurant was quite busy. Fortunately, we arrived early and managed to snag an indoor spot before the rush. The place is charming, nicely decorated, and feels spacious despite its small size. The staff was attentive, and the owner stopped by a few times to check on us, which was a nice touch. To start, we had a half-off Pinot Noir during Happy Hour, paired with burrata, pão de queijo, and an empanada. Both dishes were delicious and offered generous portions. For the main course, my partner had the Braised Oxtail with homemade gnocchi, which was absolutely fantastic--though I wished there had been more of it. We finished the evening with a delightful affogato, though it disappeared far too quickly!

I have been wanting to try this place for a long time! It was a bit smaller than I thought but a very cute spot. We ended up sitting at the bar as most of the seats were reserved. Was awesome seeing the owner working at the restaurant, you could tell he really cares about the food and quality. We came on a Thursday night for dinner and they had live music. It set the vibe of the restaurant, we really enjoyed it. We ordered from the Bite 30 menu. I opted to get the wine pairing for each course as well. The Burrata w pesto was amazing. The purple pesto was so good and the bread was so fresh and crispy. My friend really liked the olives that the owner marinates himself. Next was the Shrimp Pasta, wow this was delicious. The perfect balance of creamy and lemony, loved the clams mixed in as well. The pasta itself was so good! The shrimp was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Lastly we ended with the Pot de creme dessert. This chocolate custard was so decadent and smooth. We loved the flaky sea salt on top as well. The dessert wine served with this was super good! We cannot wait to come back here and try the rest of the menu! Especially to come back and have some more of the Shrimp Pasta! If you haven't been here you need to, you are missing out! I highly recommend this place.

What a meal. My mom, stepdad, and I had dinner at VINIA last month when we were in Orlando to visit Universal Studios. I had picked it because my mom is vegan and I'm always on the lookout for a restaurant that is great for vegans and non-vegans. VINIA was amazing. We shared: the Plant-Based Fromages, the Plant-Based "Escargot" a la Bourguignonne, Zucchini & Yellow Squash Ratatouille, the Ravioli Fatti a Mano (special ravioli of the day), the Beet Wellington, and the Rabo de Toro de Temporada (24-hour braised oxtail over house-made gnocchi), and the petite cheesecake with decadent tangy cheese creme and red wine coulis. Everything was amazing (with the exception of the vegan cheese plate which we didn't love as much as everything else). Seriously, some of these dishes blew me away! I also enjoyed some wine from their great wine list. The restaurant is on the smaller side, but it felt like entering a European bistro in Orlando! And the service was great - so welcoming and friendly and just lovely! A great meal overall. One I'd be happy to repeat!

This restaurant never disappoints. The food is always amazing and has great flavors and the customer service is always top-notch. My friend and I came here for Magical Dining. She opted for the vegan items, which she enjoyed a lot. I got the bread and dips, the cioppino, and the butternut squash panna cotta with cocoa sauce. I liked everything, but the bread and dips were my absolute favorite. The dips were flavorful and the bread was perfectly prepared. I would even come back just for the bread and dips and then get some wine on the side. The place is a bit small and is only open for dinner, but is great for a casual or intimate meal.

I got a cheese board, truffled fries, fried chicken caviar, and a deviled affogato for dessert. My date for the creste di gallo and the olive oil citrus cake. Everything was was very good, with the standout being the fries; I know that truffle essence flavor isn't for everyone but it worked really well for me in the fry sauce. My dates pasta was also very good, the pesto sauce was zesty and complimented it well. And I really like the olive oil cake with mascarpone, super light and perfectly sweet. The very minor issues were that the fried chicken was pretty deeply fried and way harder than expected, which I don't mind but may not be your thing. Devil's food cake at the bottom of the affogato was also not as sweet as I would have liked. Overall a really enjoyable experience. Would definitely recommend.

5 Star update to include their incredible new food program! (Get the carrots and red cabbage salad…read moreand the pan con tomate STAT.) Quicksand is a natural wine bar that will change the way Orlandoans expect to feel at a bar. Pro-tip: ask the staff for suggestions and settle in! It's no secret that I've become a big fan of natural wine in the past few years, and that is 100% due to Golden Hour - a wine shop in Baldwin Park that I randomly discovered on their first day open. Heather, who brought us Golden Hour, opened Quicksand in late 2024 for those of us wondering why Orlando doesn't have a great wine bar like the ones we've seen in cities around the world for decades. ***Finding the bar: Quicksand is located directly next to Educe Salon (across from Black Bean Deli). It does not have a big sign, but it's the first door you'll see as you walk from the parking lot. ***Parking: Did I mention the large parking lot? There's plenty of parking available there, or on street behind the bar. ***Service style: As you walk in, head to the part of the bar closest to the entrance where you can get recs from their staff and don't have to try to bully your way through folks sitting at the bar to get their attention. ## Did I mention that everything here is intentional? From that simple detail that makes ordering another glass MUCH easier than flagging someone down in the middle of the bar, to the position of the speakers... *** The Food: Chef Leah Cordova has crafted a seasonal menu at Quicksand, currently consisting of sandwiches, small plates, and some heartier dishes. All of them have a focus on quality ingredients with many sourcing their components from local farms or special producers. My faves include: - Pan con tomate: The tomato here is actually a combination of fresh slices of small tomatoes as well as another preparation that adds a wonderful tang. It's truly a special version of this small dish. - Whichever salad they are featuring, but special mention to the carrot and red cabbage salad that has just the perfect amount of fennel! - The white bean dish. I didn't catch the name, but it's a winner! - Cacio e pepe: This is exactly the rich, creamy dish you are dreaming of. - Whichever ice cream they are featuring (Chef Leah also operated Sweet Thyme, her ice-cream project with inventive flavors. Faves include the black pepper and date as well as the carrot cake) ***Ambiance: As you walk in you'll feel enveloped in a warm glow of subtle sconces and feel immediately comfortable. It feels like Quicksand has always been here. It's unstuffy, unfussy, and so inviting it has me researching squatter's rights... The music will sound loud at first, but then you'll realize you don't have to raise your voice at all to talk to people. This is because the speakers have been built into the furniture low and towards the floor. INTENTIONALITY. Besides the volume, the playlist has been painstakingly curated by the team so that you'll enjoy the music, but not quite be able to place the artist. ***The WHY And now, my favorite part. The wall of farmers/winemakers. Someone on staff filled me in to the fact that these are portraits of the various human beings who farm, harvest, and create the wines you can get at the bar. These are actual people, not giant corporations. And that same staff member reminded me that these individual producers are farmers for 11 months and 2 weeks of the year, and wine makers for only 2 weeks. None of these people are household names. None of them are in it for the money. They are in it to produce beautiful wine the way it has been produced since the beginning of wine-making: with minimal intervention, meaning no insane additives that give me headaches; and no mass production. The thing I've come to love about "natural" wine is that it is intensely principled. Quicksand is what happens when *every single link* in the supply chain (Farmer/Producer; Importer; Distributor; and Wine Bar) prioritizes principles over profits. And you can feel it the moment you walk in. This is not a corporate chain, nor will you find multiple locations and franchises. Not only is the wine list filled with some of the most incredible bottles I've had the pleasure of trying (many of which you can't get anywhere else in Florida), but the staff truly believes in the power of creating this special "third space" for a community to gather around good, ethically-sourced wine. I can't wait until they start serving bites alongside the wine! (Someone told me the small menu will consist of cheeses, charcuterie, focaccia, chips, etc.) SALUD!

It was not too pepper forward (which I prefer). I was excited to try this out of the way wine bar, but was a little disappointed that their extensive list is more bottles and not by the glass. Just putting this out there for awareness since I will plan to come in for some food and be able to pair with a bottle of wine to explore the full experience. The staff was very knowledgeable about all of the different wines and helped to select the best glass for what I was in the mood for that evening. The bar was very clean and there is a lot more space then what you see when you first walk in. It was all very clean and modern looking inside. Looking forward to my next trip in.

There were about 16 of us in the group, and when I first arrived, it was pretty packed -- I almost didn't get a seat. Thankfully, everyone was super nice and accommodating, making space so I could sit comfortably and enjoy the night. The atmosphere was relaxed, inviting, and full of good energy. They have comfortable seating and fans on the walls, which helped keep things cool and cozy. It's definitely a great spot to get together after work and wind down with friends, coworkers, or even new people. Trivia Night was a blast! The host kept everyone entertained, engaged, and laughing throughout the evening. It felt very well-organized and had a nice community feel -- I'd absolutely go again for that experience alone. A few things did surprise me, though. Since it's a wine bar, I expected mostly alcoholic drinks, but their Instagram made it seem like they also offered non-alcoholic options. When I asked for a soda, I was told they only serve alcohol -- no soft drinks, no mocktails. So if you're not drinking, plan to bring your own or grab something before you go. Later in the night, I got hungry. Their Instagram also gave me the impression that they served food, but they actually don't -- the food comes from a food truck around the back. When I went to order, the lady running the truck told me, "I'd rather sell out...," which threw me off. I wasn't sure what she meant, but it came across as rude or maybe even personal, which was disappointing since I was ready to buy something. That said, I don't hold that against Grape and The Grain itself. The staff inside were kind and welcoming, the crowd was friendly, and the overall vibe was great. For the atmosphere, comfort, and fun trivia experience, they get a full 5 stars from me. I'll definitely be back -- next time I'll just eat beforehand and bring my own non-alcoholic drink!

Came in late night just to check out their $10 Monday martinis. There was limited options to just a plain or dirty vodka or gin martini. No other variations or anything else from their cocktail menu was part of this deal. Blue cheese stuffed olives were a dollar a piece and tasted great but don't think I needed the 3 that was automatically given. They did seem hand stuffed with fresh blue cheese instead of the already made kind so it tasted better than most Having been to a few of their other Good Salt group restaurants, this definitely had their signature touch with all the details and the delicious menu. I like checking out all their locations. Another one of restaurant was a few doors down The server forgot my simple request for ice and lemons in the beginning when ordering just water. She also didn't check on us after dropping off the drinks and had to get someone else nearby for more olive juice when my dirty martini seemed to have missed the dirty part. Getting the check seemed to be a task, no server in sight, and had to grab another employee to ask for it From just ordering waters and martinis, service was quite lacking. I get that it was a slow night but maybe tending to the only table around should have been an easy task and being a little more tentative for the few times a server was needed would have gone a long way
