Brunch Review 2026! It's a Saturday in late April 2026 and the Orlando Magic are taking on the #1 rated Detroit Pistons! My brother and I deliberate days before on meeting up and with little hesitation, we opted for the Ravenous Pig! Securing a table reservation we instead opted to sit on the pub side where the TVs are. Soon after sitting down, we were greeted by Christina who was our server for the afternoon! Now this is Brunch Mode at the Ravenous Pig with a brunch style menu and beautiful rays on Sunshine which can feel quite different if you're used to having meals or drinks here for dinner where it can be quite busier and a different vibe! Today's visit was comfortable in the pub, lite in the dining room floor and nearly full outside in the beer garden. I settled in with the current version of the Gin and Jam! It tends to change as products become available with the underlying truth being a lite and refreshing cocktail to start with. This version is well done overall! Food wise we started with the Croquettes which had a sausage in them which brought good flavor paired with the crunchy exterior and white sauce on the plate resulted in an appetizing dish. Continuing on, the Sparkling Tea on menu is fantastic! As a side beverage or even mocktail form, it's a great Bev. We went with that and with the Magic game about to start, I went with the IT GOES TO ELEVEN cocktail! Boozy, Bright and Veracious! With these drinks in hand, we decided to move forward with more food and after consulting with Christina, we went with the Huckleberry pancake and the miso butter ribs. Without a doubt, the Huckleberry pancake was the standout star of the two dishes! A light pancake with great flavor and depth that doesn't fill you up but is a great sweeter dish that I can see Incorporated with a more savory brunch item like bacon and eggs as an example. Ravenous Pig in Winter Park is a solid experience. The staff was great from start to finish and the craft cocktails were wonderful, definitely worth exploring the menu a bit. The snapper collar tacos were the star of the show. Easily enough to share between two people, with fresh fish and really good homemade corn tortillas. The fish of the day was also excellent and the fresh ciabatta with garlic butter was hard to stop eating. The cauliflower appetizer missed the mark a bit for me, the pieces were a little too big and came out slightly undercooked. The chicken salad was just alright, nothing bad but nothing memorable either. Parking can be a little tough in the area, but the complimentary valet makes it much easier. I love that they have a quicker option out back with the beer garden, you can't go wrong! read more

I finally made it out to The Ravenous Pig for my anniversary and it definitely lived up to the hype. The whole place has that upscale but still relaxed vibe that makes it easy to settle in and enjoy the experience. The old fashioned was one of the best I've had. Super smooth and well balanced. The steak frites were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor, and the portion felt just right. But the real standout for me was the truffle bread -- rich, aromatic, and honestly something I'd go back just for. Everything felt intentional, from the food to the drinks to the atmosphere. The bone marrow appetizer was definitely a standout - rich, flavorful, and perfectly done. Wow the Ravenous Pig is everything! Once inside the space is beautiful and classy and cozy all at once. The menu is very unique with many creative dishes. We started out with a Ravenous Pig old fashion, adorned with bacon and the bourbon is infused with bacon as well and we had key lime pie daiquiri which was tart and sweet. The escargot toast is fantastic- creamy, earthy and full of flavor. The mushroom and Dijon cream accompanied the escargot. My taste buds were dancing. We also had the lamb shoulder roulade- roasted corn salsa and smoked cream corn was such a delicious dish. Only disappointing item is there was only one medallion of lamb. I always see this place on the way to Winter Park and I've been wanting to try it, we finally came by for brunch. The inside of this restaurant is really nice. The staff here were friendly. We both got the Pub Burger w Truffle Fries. The fries were pretty good. I got my burger medium rare but it was more on the rare side. I don't mind rare so it wasn't a big deal to me, but it wasn't what I asked for. I thought the burger was just okay. The main taste I got was just a little bit of blue cheese. I didn't really taste any of the caramelized onions that it said that it came with. They didn't really char my burger either so it just tasted meh. I went in to have a quick drink and some food with my girlfriend. We ordered their ravenous pig old fashioned which has bacon infused bourbon. It sounded delicious but when we got it, our mouths were on fire.... We took a few more sips and finally said something to the other bartender who didn't make the drink. She tried it with a straw and quickly realized the issue. The other bartender accidentally used fire bitters and that's the reason for the burning. They were very apologetic and quickly made us new drinks. We ordered a burger to share and they brought it out cut in half on separate plates with more than enough fries on both plates. Tonight we came for the steak frites and artic char and neither of them were a disappointment. The steak was cooked perfectly medium, seasoned well, and nestled on top of a sauce next to truffle fries. The artic char was also cooked just right. Loved the brown butter hollandaise sauce that it came with. We also got the crab dip which was amazing. Definitely wasn't expecting it to blow us away the way that it did. It has been a few years since I have been at the Ravenous Pig. My husband and I decided to go to celebrate our wedding anniversary and what a wonderful time we had. When I made the reservation, I added we will be celebrating our anniversary, when we arrived we were greeted with a Happy Anniversary and a menu that said the phrase on it. It is the special details that make a difference. Moving on the actual dining part, everything was wonderful. We had the most wonderful server Maddy (Not sure if it is spelled out correctly). Our server was so attentive, gave us recommendations and at end got us a special treat for our anniversary. We started off with their Artisan breas, wow it was so good! 3.5/5 TLDR: server was nice. Apps were great. Entree and dessert were average-below average for the price. Service was pretty slow but our server was very kind. That being said, the meal took almost two hours from when we ordered to finished our food. The place was packed so I don't fault them on that as much. The fries and oysters were some of the best I've had, bar none. I'm not huge on raw seafood and I was still blown away by that. House fries were salty, crisp, and executed perfectly. Biggest issue is that I did not enjoy my dish, and the others in my group felt theirs were very average. I got the Reuben, and was disappointed to find that, although the beef was good quality, did not taste very good nor like a Reuben. It tasted like butter and a hunk of beef: no sauerkraut, dressing or anything other flavor to note of. Overall, I would try to give this place another shot and just try a different entree; it's nearly $50 per person counting apps, so it may be a minute before I revisit. read more

I got the Steak Frites which is a porcini marinated black angus ny strip w/ truffle fries and a garlic aioli sauce on the side. Both the steak and the fries were absolutely delicious. The garlic aioli balanced the steak well and was a great addition. The portion size was also great for the cost of the meal. Parking was easy, impressed with the visual design of interior. Smart design to create a unique but focused experience in a space that would've been otherwise average and pedestrian. We arrived with a reservation on a Thursday night, and it was surprisingly busy. We got seated right away and greeted by two lovely hosts. The dining room has a nice ambiance , a touch of elegance but also rustiness. I requested a high chair for my toddler which they happily obliged with. We ordered the steak frites and an Alfredo pasta dish. The amount of fries as part of the steak dish was generous, and the steak was delicious with a decent portion although would have preferred a bit more for the price. I've been here 3 times already and must say that their appetizers steal the show! Each time, I'm pretty impressed with their starters, but then the entrees come and it's a little underwhelming. The food is still good, just not absolutely delicious like that apps are, in my opinion. The Ciabatta Truffle Loaf is so pillowy soft and the truffle aioli pairs perfectly with it. Everything was amazing, for my taste the only thing I would point was the pork belly had too many fat, could have more meat (but I know depend on each animal) If you don't like smell truffle (oil) maybe will be a downside, as a lot of plates have truffle you can smell even if you don't order. The mushroom & gruyere beignets come with 4 units, what was more than enough, really tasteful and had an truffle cream. The steak and fries oh my good, could eat that everyday,day do have an dry age fridge there, were they do some charcuterie, duck and steaks. The deserts my favorite was the dark chocolate tart, the mixed of the cashew ice cream with cocoa nibs and cherry, give you a lot the sweet but at same time balance because of the ice cream, amazing! We went here for dinner while in town and luckily got to enjoy the Magic menu. We feasted on mocktails, a yummy salad with goat cheese, mushroom beignets, duck Alfredo, and steak frites. We also got to indulge in two desserts: the chocolate tart and a peach cobbler type thing. Everything was delicious. It was an incredible amount of food for the fixed $40 each and such a deal during this time of year. Our waitress was lovely, and the meal was so nicely spaced that we were able to enjoy ourselves without being rushed. The Ravenous Pig is an absolute gem in Winter Park. We've eaten there many times over the years, even at its predecessor, Cask & Larder, owned by the same group. The service, food, and ambience here are always consistent: excellent. What I love most is how much the menu changes each time we go. Far too many restaurants in Orlando keep 85% of their menu the same, but Ravenous might be more like 20% of their menu is the same. We really enjoy that, as there is always something new we haven't tried before. I will say the prices can be a bit steep, but fair for the value and quality. We try to go on special occasions. I appreciate that they also have mocktail and zero proof beverages available. One of my favorite dishes was actually a fish sandwich, believe it or not! I could have eaten this as an entree, it was so good. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the short rib being dry as a jerky, but it was phenomenal! Putting it with the rice and spicy sauce into the lettuce wrap made for such a flavorful app with a kick. I didn't brave the octopus, but the pork belly was good as well, although I generally prefer a softer pork belly app. I went simple this evening and got the burger, but it was awesome! Cooked to my liking and the truffle fries were some of the best I've had. My boyfriend ordered the gnocchi with escargot, which he said was extremely high quality, but definitely a smaller portion size than the handhelds on the menu. If you're looking for bang for your buck, a handheld might be the move. But the quality of the pasta dishes is certainly there! Both the carrot cake and chocolate mousse desserts were beautifully presented with great flavor profiles - I love the combo of strawberry and chocolate, and the lemon sorbet with the cheesecake was surprisingly lovely. Being a Winter Park "staple" restaurant, I was surprised our party of three could be seated immediately with no reservation on a Friday night around 7:00pm. Service wasn't bad by any means, just average. The food was good just not our typical go to; we tend to lean into more Asian and Latin cuisines. American elevated gastropub is how I'd describe this restaurant's ambience and its menu. TRP is also a brewery, therefore they had an extensive beer menu. No drinks were had on this particular evening. Food came out hot and was prepared fresh. We ordered the pork belly and baked oysters for appetizers, the family sized beef ragu with Caesar salad & truffle ciabatta, chestnut agnolotti, and the oxtail lasagna. Our group didn't want fries as it seemed many of the dishes came with fries, but it is rare for us to all order pasta. Since the pasta was freshly made, it was a nice treat! I uploaded a new menu and was going to delete the old one, but I started looking at it first and quickly became alarmed at how prices had risen so much for the same items (for Happy Hour for example, beers are now basically $1 off. Guess it's the Michelin effect? At the same time, portions are quite small. The Kitchen seems to rely on heaping copious amounts of (greasy overcooked) french fries in the hopes that guests won't notice the small piece of mahi on the $26 sandwich, or $38 steak frites. $15 for 3 beignets ($5 each, for a small donut)... $26 for 3 shrimp tacos... I could go on, but the point is: not great value.
