From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a treat...the incredible aromas from the kitchen could be smelled right from valet. We were warmly greeted by the hostess and promptly seated, setting the tone for a wonderful evening. Our server was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely pleasant throughout the entire experience. We started with the bread service, which was so delicious it didn't stand a chance...we had to order a second round! The cocktails were exceptional, perfectly crafted and consistent, complementing both our oysters and entrées beautifully. The Oyster Rockefeller was fresh and cooked to perfection. They offer complementary valet, which is very generous. We placed this reservation for our anniversary and the waiter was very personable, and asked about how we met. I wish I knew his name, but I loved his service. The wine and the espresso martini were really good. My girlfriend, especially like the espresso martini and its blend of liquor with the tartness. In terms of the food, it was all really wonderful. The chicken and dumplings came with this delicious sauce that I couldn't get enough off. The potato dumplings were alright, but the seasoning and mix of the sauce was perfect for the chicken. The serving size was good as well and there was barely any bone to interrupt eating it. My girlfriend said that the steak was cooked perfectly medium as they asked. The steak sauce paired really well, and they had enough for leftovers, and enjoyed it even more the day after. The Mac & cheese was alright, we just wish there had been more of a crunch to the cheese. However, we both really liked the shape of the pasta as we don't really see those as often. Also not depicted here, but we got the cocktail shrimp. My girlfriend loved this one too, specifically noting how large and cold the shrimps were. The cocktail sauce was delicious and had a nice kick to it, and definitely squeeze the lemon that comes with it on the shrimp. I didn't plan on falling in love with this super expensive steakhouse (I mean it is really expensive in my opinion and their whole menu is a la carte so no sides are included with your steak.. definitely scared my wallet at first), but here we are... defying the odds. After reading some reviews, I will say this, don't go to a steakhouse if you don't plan on eating a steak. The cocktails were superb! The bread service bread was so soft and delicious (I just wish they had herb butter paired with it). Our beef tartare didn't just arrive; it made a dramatic entrance in a cloud of smoke. My filet was the standout of the night for sure...a TRUE medium rare that would make a steak purist shed a tear. Every suggestion from the lively staff was spot on, from cocktails to appetizers to sauces that pair well with our cuts. Our maple bourbon creme brûlée was fantastic and also torched in front of us by our waiter, Daniel! And then you find out the executive chef used to work at Bern's Steak House? I enjoyed the "feel" of the place. It felt like somewhere I'd want to go again. We showed up about 9ish on a Saturday without reservation. The restaurant was full and no tables available but the bar had seats with a full menu. We were able to also put our name on the waitlist and got called within the amount of time we were told. Bartenders were nice and welcoming. Our server at our table was also very nice. Prices are on par for what you'd find a steak/chop house. That means you can expect a bill on the higher end. The drinks were generally good. However I feel like the Evolution was better in theory than in practice. The mango flavor was lighter than I'd like. Which could be fine if you prefer more alcohol forward drinks. A cut above taste like other classic cocktails (manhattan, old fashioned). Good, not great. As for the food: Scallops- very good. Asparagus - not my favorite, a little too firm for my liking. Shrimp cocktail - will always be a 10 for me regardless how simple , cocktail sauce seemed to be made in house Steak - in the same realm as a steak from Kres. So, how you feel about that will inform how you might feel. To me, just ok (definitely try it for yourself). Next time I'll go lamb which I love at Kres and see how it compares. I came in for brunch with my friends to celebrate finishing the OUC half marathon and had an amazing experience. The service was truly incredible. They were very accommodating when we had a last minute extra person join our party of 6. The restaurant is gorgeous and well decorated for Christmas. It was relaxing and sophisticated. To drink, I got the Bloody Mary. It was delicious and the blue cheese olives were perfection. I also got at cardamom bun from the pastry cart. It was served warm and had a lovely spice to it. I liked that it wasn't too sweet. The pastries were large and we loved being able to share them. I also got a cappuccino with my pastry and it was delicious. My overall experience was pretty good but like others have said the food here is just ok. The best things we had were the carpaccio, the waffle fries and the bread service. The main entrees were just ok. I had the braised short rib and it was bland. It was also a bit tough to cut through, not as tender as it should be. Usually with braised short ribs (if done properly) all you need is a fork. I still had to use a knife! I can say however their cosmo was perfect! One of the best I've had and I've had many! Final thing I'll mention is that I think it's a little odd that the chef prefers tables order everything at once. Turned a rip age this year and figured it was worth celebrating with a good group of friends at a swanky spot. This place did not disappoint! Prep your wallet and come with an empty stomach because helpings are large and well... the prices are rightfully sized too. I ordered a huge 16oz prime ribeye which I couldn't finish, took home and made steak and eggs the next day. Service took a little bit but honestly it was slammed for a Thursday so understandable. Came to celebrate my birthday with my brother and fam and the overall experience was truly amazing. Started off by having complimentary hats from the restaurant for my brother and myself with a note signed by the staff which was awesome. We were quickly greeted by our waitress (Shi) she was sooo amazing and I totally recommend her if you are looking for an amazing time with great service. She was very helpful, attentive, and there to help with anything we needed or had questions about. We started off by ordering a f ew appetizers and to our delight they gave us a complimentary ones. We got the Green Coconut Curry Mussels (by far the favorite app full of flavor and very delicious), Cocktail Shrimp (large shrimp and yummy flavor), Lobster Deviled Eggs, and Grilled Cheese Tartare (from restaurant and was second favorite app). For our main courses we split the Porterhouse, Dry Aged Ribeye, and split some sides. Again to our surprise they gave us 2 extra sides. Everything was very delicious and cooked to perfection. Finally for our dessert we ordered the Crème Brûlée and Carrot Cake but one more time they surprised us with 2 more desserts the Smores Sundae (my favorite) and another one don't remember the name of it but it was yummy. A truly amazing experience. Not knowing Winter Park really well it was also nice to see another part of the town and have it be a little more quiet and easier to find parking. When coming here for dinner the place was only three weeks old but other than it looking new, service was like it has been there for forever. The Stracciatella - Heirloom tomato, sourdough, herb pistou and Grilled Garlic Shrimp - Tomato, chile, green olive to start were wonderful. The Bread Service - Milk bread, salted european butter is an add on but it works. I wish, however, there were more bread options. Splitting a Prime Ribeye was wonderful for dinner. Super tasty and cooked to perfection. I certainly didn't need it but the Kiwi Key Lime Pie - Graham crust, kiwi jam, meringue was a great finish to the meal. I love the vibes of corner chophouse. It was a warm, old school style steakhouse atmosphere. They had a great happy hour ($10 martinis and various lightbites) they do a great dirty martini. THE AGONY AND THE ECSTASY! My...oh...my! What a difference a week makes. I'm referring to a meal I had at a Michelin recommended restaurant in August, 2025 and the grand opening of the Corner Chophouse on Friday, September 5, 2025. After having an absolute incredible experience at the first establishment during Magical Dining Month ($60.00 for a three course meal)...the ECSTASY..my dining partner and I traveled to tony Winter Park for what I hoped was an equally amazing culinary event; unfortunately, this is where the AGONY made its appearance. But I had such high hopes. Beautiful contemporary interior with an eye-catching bar setup, Welcoming and friendly host service and equally friendly servers and management; what's not to love? And talking about love...our server Daniel was the best...we both agreed he made our time at the restaurant entertaining and enjoyable. Absolutely no issue with the waitstaff. The kitchen's output on the other hand needs some tweaking. We started off with the Summer Corn Cappelletti which included Blue Crab and Citrus...WINNER...tasty and flavorful...then crickets (not literally)...I'm referring to the time between when we received and finished our appetizer and when our entrees made their debut. PACING IS DEFINITELY AN ISSUE. Now this is where my dreams died that evening...16 ounce Ribeye ($85.00) and 8 ounce Filet ($59.00). For these prices, I expect the meat to melt in my mouth. However, each of our selections were overdone beyond the requested MEDIUM and considering the family to our side was waiting interminably for their meal I wasn't going to ask for a redo. I did finish my steak but, there was not a single bite which I truly savored. The only saving graces were the side of Florida Mushrooms with Shallots and Herb Butter which was packed with flavor and the recommended Chocolate Cake for dessert. Its five-tiered and includes Milk Chocolate Mousse, Dark Ganache and Vanilla Chantilly. Cheers to the pastry chef! We had dinner at Corner Chophouse a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. The service, food, and atmosphere were great and I might add that it's a bit more in-theme for the location than PAT was. I love the old New York vibe it has and the music. While the prices are a bit steep, I would definitely recommend checking it out for a special occasion or if you're willing to spend a little bit extra for a nice meal and steaks. I got my filet butterflyed and they did it perfectly. We are definitely coming back but most likely for a special occasion as the prices are a little steep, but great service and food overall. I got to try out this new spot and I really hope it will finally be a spot that stays in this location! We came for brunch and it was finally cool enough to sit outside. The vibe is awesome with some amazing venue options and a truly outstanding staff that dressed the part in sport coats. Being a new spot, the staff gave some incredible recommendations and was very interested in our opinions and feedback. When asking about a couple cocktails, our server recommended I get the same drink two of my friends had already ordered (flappers delight) as he truly thought it was the superior choice. I mentioned that I try to get a different drink when possible so we can share and try different things. He completely understood and agreed to being out the Scarlett Affair but offered to replace it with the flappers delight if I didn't like it. Sure enough, no one at my table liked it as it was too bitter and lacked any cranberry taste and he was quick to replace it with the other one just as he promised. Fortunately, I followed his recommendation on the biscuits and gravy and despite traveling all over the south, it's one of the best I've had. I love that theres small pieces of sausage spread throughout to ensure it's part of every bite. While waiting for our food, we noticed a nearby table get the French toast and commented on how it looked so amazing and was super thick. Our server must have overheard us because shortly after we were given one to try on the house! My friends also enjoyed the steak and eggs, lobster roll, lobster deviled eggs, and Dutch apple pie croissant. They told us they come in early every day to make their own pastries and this was proven by the taste. Had an amazing visit with friends to this steakhouse for happy hour. They have martinis, manhattans, old fashionends and lemon drops for only $10. They also have many wine specials for $10 per glass. They have an extensive speciality cocktail menu to choose from as well as the happy hour specials. I highly recommend trying the mango infused cube drink. When we walked in we were immediately greeted with kindness and impressed by the beautiful interior. Our bartender Rob was fantastic, professional and knowledgeable. His female partner bartender was great too! The general manager also came out to check out on us and was very kind and gave us a tour and sent out some food items to try. We loved the steak sliders and the pork belly. The French fries were hand cut, crispy and delicious. The lobster deviled eggs were good, but could use a bit more seasoning. The steakhouse burger was huge and packed with flavor. The grilled oysters were yummy as well. They also have a private room available. They have amazing dessert. The server was very informative and super nice and the manager came over to greet us and wished me a happy birthday. The service was very quick even though they were a bit busy, however I was really unimpressed about the portions of the meals. We are a group of girls who like to share and have a girl dinner. However, the portion sizes were just not that much to share. I was not really impressed with the baby kill salad. There was not much dressing nor was there enough on the plate the mashed potatoes however we're very small, but super delicious and flavorful. We tried to order the porterhouse however they were out. We went ahead and ordered a different cut of meat. Unfortunately, I feel like the steak was dry. There were no juices, even though still cooked to perfection I wasn't a fan. This is VERY very disappointing for a new steakhouse in WP. The service just isn't fantastic and the food is a letdown. I understand not Michelin star, but it's a steakhouse in a nice place, there's some sort of standard that needs be followed. On the food side--steak is good quality, fish too. But the creamed spinach so bland, steak sauces the same, kale salad was just not good, gnocchi a bit too cheesy, and fries tasted like just frozen ones they heated up. Come on??? The bread was good though and shrimp starters. On the service side--missing one set of utensils when we sat down (even though knew 4 people coming), don't wipe the table during dinner, waiters a bit disorganized, and put the spray bottle down on my mat when we asked them to wipe. It's just the little things that weren't happening here. The place just left a lot to be desired, we even skipped dessert. Every restaurant that is in this building usually goes out of business quick and if they want to stay here, they need to shape up. Yes it's a good location and yes food came decently quick. Had a lovely dinner here. We enjoyed dinner around 930pm on a Friday which was nice to see the restaurant was still lively. Our server (I wish I remembered his name) was fantastic. Attentive when need be and gave great recommendations. One thing I truly enjoyed about this new restaurant was all the staff genuinely seemed proud of what they were delivering which is always nice to see. Per our servers recommendation my partner and I both started with the evolution cocktail. We are tequila lovers and anything St. Germain I'm in! The mango ice cube was a fun twist which left you with a tequila mango slushy at the end of the drink. For food we enjoyed the fresh oysters from New Smyrna (who knew they harvested good oysters?! Very salty, oceanic tasting), the oysters Rockefeller which is a personal favorite of mine and corner chophouse did an incredible job of. Everyone who dines should get at least two to start. Trust me, you'll want more. We also enjoyed the Hokkaido milk buns alongside the beef carpaccio which was recommended and was delightful. A nice balance with the fried capers, balsamic reduction and dijonaisse. For entrees we switched to wine btg. I was grateful they allowed us to taste a couple before deciding our entree wine. The Cote de Rhône blend was classic and well balanced to pair with their Wagyu which was perfectly cooked, served hot and nicely salted. I enjoyed the Alsacan sparkling rose which was fantastic and served in a coupe which I enjoy. I wasn't too hungry and ordered the squash and pumpkin ravioli which I did not like and did not finish. The sage brown butter sauce tasted like a glob of melted butter, no seasoning or flavor. We were quite full but the beautiful dessert display was too stunning to pass up. However, we were apologized to several times by the wonderful hostesses & the manager came up apologized and had champagne served immediately after seating. Baby kale salad delicious all be it a smidge underdressed but I think that's just the way they do it here. (Maybe ask if they can amp up the dressing if concerned). I got the 8 oz Filet... It was text book perfection in execution and taste. I've had many steaks in my life and this one now lives rent free in my heart. I tasted several sides, the Mac & Cheese which was comped by the way because of our wait was a borderline religious experience. The waffle frites are going to be any fry lovers new fav. Creamed spinach was stellar. Mushrooms we a smidge salty but that could of been just for punch, id try again though to double check could have a fluke. Asparagus was great! Lastly we brought, unknown or ordered by us 2 birthday dishes to share a toasted cheesecake with brownie crust on the bottom. Corner Chophouse has been on my list for a while, so when brunch came up with friends, it felt like the perfect time to try it. They only have a few outdoor tables, and although I would've preferred that, we ended up sitting inside because of the heat. The interior is very dark and leans more toward a dinner atmosphere than a brunch vibe. When we were seated, the hostess asked if we were celebrating anything special, and my friend mentioned her birthday. Nice touch, but unfortunately that's where the "special" treatment ended. Three of the four of us ordered the steak and eggs. I initially ordered mine medium, but our server explained the chef cooks steaks precisely to temperature and that medium would be a hot pink center. I adjusted to medium well. Ironically, both steaks came out well done. At that point, I realized I probably should have stuck with medium. Despite there being only two occupied tables in the entire restaurant, service was noticeably slow. We waited quite a while for our server to check back in, so my friend ended up eating her sides while waiting, and I gave in and started on my overcooked steak and soggy bacon. To be fair, even though the execution was off and the plating was underwhelming, the flavor of the steak itself was actually good. Once we finally got our server's attention, he offered to take the plates back to show the chef, but by then I had already eaten most of mine. My friend sent hers back. A manager did stop by to apologize, but it felt more like a quick pass-through than a genuine recovery moment. When the check came, there was no mention of dessert, which felt like a miss, especially considering we were celebrating a birthday and had issues with two of the steaks. Offering a dessert or even comping a drink would've gone a long way in turning the experience around. I've heard a lot about their great service, so I'm open to giving them another shot. But for a chophouse, getting the steak temperature wrong, especially during a slow service, is a tough one to overlook. read more

I came in during happy hour on a random weekday and had the best customer service in Winter Park. The ambience is chic and reminds me of unknown Italian restaurant in Miami in Vegas-it's chic with dark lighting, leather booths, Frank Sinatra playing and polished wood bar tops. They had outdoor seating as well and it was a great night to partake in it, but I chose to sit at the bar. I had the oysters which were delicious both Rockefeller and grilled as well as the wedge salad and I added steak to it. The steak was cold to absolute perfection, but I do eat mine make medium rare, and I was able to cut through with like butter with my fork alone I wasn't able to eat all my food and got the rest to go and it heated up well and kept the consistency the next day. I will definitely be adding this to my rotation of steak houses and I absolutely recommend every in anyone come and try out corner chop house. They have a parking lot located directly across the street. There's plenty of street parking and if you don't feel like doing either of those, they also have a valet option. read more

We had an outstanding experience from start to finish. The whole night felt like The Bear -- if you know, you know -- with intentional excellence in every detail. It was warm, welcoming, and exactly what you hope for when going out to celebrate. We were a party of nine and had to wait a bit to be seated, but the team went above and beyond to make it right. Delays happen -- how you respond is what sets you apart, and they absolutely did. The oysters from New Smyrna were incredibly fresh, the filet was perfectly cooked, and we shared several sides -- the mac and cheese was literally insane. Went here to celebrate our engagement and they treated us incredibly! Free drinks, two free appetizers, free desserts, etc. They really went above and beyond. We love their bread service. Honestly some of the best bread and butter I have ever eaten. Their waffle fries are cooked so crispy but still soft inside. Everything we have eaten was great except their lobster pasta I didn't like at all, just fell flat didn't have really any flavor. Their Mac and cheese and tuna entree was something I would definitely come back to get. read more
