My wife and I have visited Luke's a number of times over the years and have enjoyed our time due to the food, service, and the atmosphere. We met a friend for lunch recently and chose the "Lunchbox", that comes with small-sized soup, salad, chips, and a choice of chicken tacos, yellowfin tuna on toast, or Chef's choice vegetables. (Think Bento box). What a pleasant surprise! But wait! There's more! Coffee or tea and gelato or ice cream, are also included. Definitely a fun lunch deal! My wife raved about the flavor of the chicken in her tacos. The soup and salad packed flavor for their size. My yellowfin tuna was okay. The mango gelato? Fresh, and the perfect way to end the meal. Dylan, our server, was attentive and knowledgeable. Prices continue to rise, but the quality continues. Happy Hour is Monday through Friday, 3 pm to 6 pm, and the menu has a nice selection of snacks and flatbreads, cocktails, wine, and beer.
I have been to Luke's many times but tonight's dinner was one of the best. The crab cakes are seriously the best I've ever had and I'm a Florida native. All meat, no filler with a citrus beurre blanc I could drink. My friend had the NY strip and she raved about it too. We sat at the bar and our service was outstanding as usual. The restaurant is beautiful. And they do an email campaign promo too. Thank you, Luke's, for closing out my birthday month on a high note.
This is a nice date night spot! I enjoyed a burger that was juicy and flavorful. The fries were crispy and paired well with their Comeback sauce. My partner liked the fish & chips. The interior is modern and the service was great.
This restaurant was absolutely stunning! Very good for date night or even a quick hangout with a friend! I didn't get a chance to experience the sit down because they didn't have a table ready for me and my friend, so we sat at the bar which I didn't mind! The service was actually really good because of the gentleman that was helping us. Once the switch shifts the service wasn't as on point but it was still good. The food was amazing aside from the sautéed coconut shrimp that we had it wasn't that good but they were very accommodating and end up switching out the meal for wings which omg best choice ever! It was such a nice vibe! The bar tender also made me a drink which was actually very good. Me and my Bestfriend had a wonderful time . I will definitely be back with my boyfriend for sure because it was so such a nice experience

It's been a long time since I have eaten there, so I had to visit again when I received a promotion for twenty dollars off. I made a reservation for a Saturday evening on Resy in advance. Since valet parking is free, I took advantage of it and headed straight to check in. I was greeted immediately and sent to the table where I could watch the open kitchen. I was told most of the drinks were strong, so I tried the mezcal drink (14 dollars). I forgot the name, but it was smoky, herbal, and lightly boozy. It was such a nice sipping drink. I was very happy that my server was very honest in mentioning the salmon was farmed raised, so I decided to go with the airline chicken instead (26 dollars). Before I was given my chicken, the chef near my table gave me a complimentary hors D'oeuvre. It looked to be a small wonton bowls filled with ahi tuna with some guac topping I think. Whatever it was, I was in heaven. It was fresh and flavorful, making my taste buds happy. When the chicken arrived, it came mostly deboned. It was tender enough, but could have been a little more juicy. It could been a bit more seasoned as well since I tasted mostly chicken without any other flavors. The vegetables, however, were far better as the potatoes were roasted and seasoned perfectly. I thought there would be mostly grilled vegetables, but the potatoes overtook them. The other vegetables were still amazing. I wish there was more of the green salsa, but it was thin. It did, however, added the kick and flavor to the chicken. It was still a very enjoyable entree. For dessert, they handed a separate menu, and I had to do the creme brulee (11 dollars). It was quite generous, but still light enough to finish. The crust was crispy without being too powerful, and the vanilla specks just made the flavor perfect. The service was excellent and professional. When it was time to pay, I showed the email to my server, who got the manager to verify. The manager immediately checked and gave me the twenty dollars off, making the total price before tips about 33 dollars after tax. It was a great deal. Both the manager and server checked up with me on the dinner and were very friendly. The atmosphere is upscale, but t-shirt and jeans are still welcome here. I love the open kitchen, and you are welcome to talk to the chefs. I am so happy I visited Luke's again after a long time. I loved their sister restaurant, Lumas, and was sad they closed a while back ago. While Luke's can be a bit pricey, they still have some items at reasonable prices (like the chicken, burgers, and sandwiches). Plus, if you sign up for their email, you can get promotions as well. And their cocktails are one of the best in Orlando. Definitely still a great restaurant in the Maitland area. Overall: A

I really enjoyed the side, which was a crispy potato cake. The ice cream bite was also very good! Their menu is seasonal so the offerings change. The server was nice, but didn't ask about the drink so I had to follow up on that. My friend had the fish sandwich, which she described it as fresh but the batter wasn't that flavorful. The fries were delicious! Overall, I would give this restaurant another try, I would just order something else.
Luke's kitchen, came highly recommended by some of my team members, so me and the wife set out to give em a go! We arrived as they were opening with a few guests walking in right before us, clean modern building outside and in, open kitchen layout, waited to be seated by the hostess, greeted warmly and seated in the bar area, approached by our server Issac, very nice professional young man greeting us gathering a drink order and briefly going over the menu and specials, returning in 3 mins drinks down taking the order, started with the butternut squash soup and a Fig goat cheese ham flatbread, soup arriving in 5 mins, beautiful presentation but fell alittle flat on the flavor, flatbread arriving 5 mins thereafter, Issac then took are mains a checkup and was off, flatbread was fantastic, the perfect amount of sweet without being overbearing blending with the cheese and ham, very nice but this could have been our main course! Speaking of mains they arrived 10 mins following the FB, very nice presentation on both dishes! Burger cooked perfectly but the star of the day was the Snapper! What a wonderful dish! Seared perfectly, tender and flaky! Highly recommend this dish! To finish up their version of the Key lime pie, mango sauce sun-dried lime crumbles over the top Wow!! This was a great experience from the food, service to the cleanliness of the building, if you're in the area check out Luke's! Awesome... I've spoken.
Just came here for the first time because I was just looking for a restaurants in the area because I was starving. So I decided to just stop here grab a drink, grab some food and head to a friends's home. So I ordered the wings and I decided to get them extra crispy. I sat there and had a drink at the bar myself, and that was delicious. The wings were even better, the wings were so good that we finished them in a matter of moments and I made an order for two. I wanna say a few hours later, we ended up coming back to have the wings again because they were so good. They were still juicy, crispy, full of flavor and everything you would want in crispy wings/dry rub. I would definitely come back here because the ambience definitely gives date night, hang out with friends, great drinks, and a great overall ambience. Job well done by this restaurant.
The service was really top-notch. Food was delicious. We got the flatbread for appetizer. It was perfect. Drinks were delicious as well. We'll definitely be going again for a nice date night dinner.
I had only been here once before, and I wasn't blown away at first. I decided to try it again when a friend was in town and it was much better. The atmosphere is very nice, whether you are outside, in the main dining room, or in the bar area. Our server was very friendly and gave good food recommendations. This time I started with their house old fashioned, and it was very tasty, it had a little peach in it, but it wasn't overly sweet. My wife got the kiwi and it was just ok. My friend and I did the magical dining. I had the salad and it exceeded my expectations. I upgraded to the steak frites for my main and I would do it again, and I finished with some type of toffee, bourbon cake, which was almost like a bread pudding. Our friend got the smoked fish dip and really enjoyed it. She liked her salmon and even I enjoyed a bite of her key lime pie, it wasn't too tart. My wife was very happy with her snapper dish. I'm glad I gave Luke's another shot, it was a great experience this time around.
I've always loved this spot - the food has never been a let down. They always have a seasonal menu that is fresh and full of new options. The service and staff are always attentive and responsive, it is perfect for dates with the lighting. I think my only gripe is that the restaurant doesn't have an identity where the aesthetic feels high end, so does the food. But the location doesn't necessarily reflect that. But that will change as the area develops more.
My friend and I were in the area and looking for a late afternoon bite and drinks and stumbled upon Luke's. I've always wanted to stop by and so glad I finally did. We sat at the bar, which is a massive horseshoe shape, easily accommodating 20+ customers. While there was no happy hour as we went on a Saturday, we each ordered a drink, a starter and an entree. The flavors of everything I had we truly impeccable (the sauce used in the Crab & Avocado starter is to die for). I will say when the starter came out, I didn't think the portion size felt filling/ like enough food but I can honestly say that the flavor was worth the price and portion. The feeling inside is calming opulence, with music playing in the background that was both jazzy and poppy. I'm already looking at the menu to see what to order next!

Luke's is always a favorite! The food is consistently good and the service is excellent every time we visit. The ambiance is always dim and upscale and it is a great date night spot We recently tried the meatloaf, which I don't remember ever seeing on the menu before, and it is officially a new favorite. So flavorful, comforting, and definitely something I would order again. Everything else at the table was delicious too. And the White Linen is hands down one of my all-time favorite cocktails -- so light, refreshing, and consistently good. Luke's continues to be one of those places we can count on for a great meal and great service. My only request: PLEASE bring back the rolls! If you know, you know. We came here one night for a nice dinner. We got a nice dinner. The ambiance is picture perfect, like a movie scene. Dim lighting, dark wooden tables, just really comfortable. The food was also great. We started off with the Sourdough Flatbread (mushroom, ham, fig, goat cheese), and honestly, this might have been the best flatbread I've ever had in my life. It was a great size, has a hearty crust for good handling, and the toppings are just magnificent in quantity And quality. Just wow. Delicious. For my main, I had the Crab Cakes (citrus beurre blanc, tomato-smoked pepper jam, fries). Again, dynamite dish. Lots of crab in those cakes, a creamy, acidic sauce as a nice foil to the crab, and then a nice little pop of that smoked pepper jam to really make the dish interesting with every bite. So good. I also got to try a nightly special they had, a Lamb Tenderloin. Perfectly medium rare, a nice rice side, just done really well. We finished off with probably the best part of the night, the Skillet Brownie (salted caramel, vanilla soft serve). Insane. Ooey and gooey, warm and chocolatey, with a hint of salty caramel. With that dollop of vanilla ice cream just melting away on top, it was the perfect dessert. What really set back this visit was the service. Our server was just awful, I'm sorry. I'm not saying she was an awful person. She was a lovely person, but restaurant service is probably just not the job for her. I won't go any farther. Pros: Ambiance was very elegant and intimate and cozy. Huge fan. The food was incredible. Really above average flatbread with huge amounts of each topping on top. Crab cakes that were actually mostly crab and served with the perfect sauce combination. Cons: The only con was the service. Our server was the kind of person who just maybe got way too distracted by things. Drinks took forever, we weren't checked in on very often, so we were forced through our meal faster than we would have liked to have been. Tips: That skillet brownie may have changed my life. I recommend saving room for dessert. read more

I will preface I went in quite doubtful-- Luke's seemed like the kind of place a bit too pricey for what it's worth-- but I was very pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was upscale but comfy. We sat at the chef's counter and saw all the prep work which was fun too. The free chips-and-dips was super tasty, as were the Cubano sliders we got as an app. The crab cakes were some of the best I've had outside of Maryland, super fresh and delicious. Overall, would highly recommend and will be coming back for another date night. read more
Had a great experience at Luke's Kitchen & Bar! Our server Jack was incredible -- warm, attentive, and super knowledgeable. She really set the tone for a smooth night. Honey BBQ Wings These wings came out looking and tasting like a win. Lightly crisp skin, juicy inside, and a honey BBQ sauce with actual flavor layers sweet, smoky, and just sticky enough. The ranch + green onions added the perfect balance. Cheeseburger & Fries A classic done the right way. Juicy patty, cheese melted into the burger, and a bun that held everything together. The fries were thin, crispy and delish. Brownie + Soft Serve If you love dessert, don't skip this. Warm fudgy brownie, creamy soft-serve, and cookie crumble for texture. Simple but so satisfying. Great service, great flavors, and consistent execution. I'd definitely come back especially if Jack is working! read more

A friend and I stopped in on a Friday afternoon for happy hour to celebrate a birthday. We were pleasantly surprised happy hour included Friday while alot of other establishments do not. We got a good seat at the end of the bar. We started with drinks. I got Flight of the Kiwi cocktail. It was good, different, and refreshing. My friend got a skinny marg. We decided to order several of the snacks and share. -chips and dip: this was yummy and a good bar order! The bacon was prominent which I enjoyed. The kettle chips were nice and crispy. -cubano sliders: the pork was scrumptious. There was 3 sliders for the order. I think this dish is worth the price. -fries: hot and crispy. Can't go wrong with a salty snack to pair with a cold cocktail. -mushroom, ham, fig, goat cheese flatbread: plenty for 2 people to share. We love fig in our charcuterie boards so this was practically the best version of a charcuterie board on a flatbread. Service was decent. I suggest getting here right when the restaurant opens if you wish to get a seat at the bar. It seemed to fill up fast. The inside of the restaurant was pretty and clean. It had good natural lighting. I think its a good spot to keep in anyone's happy hour rotation. read more

Bustling New American dining in Orlando's Maitland area. On the eve of my last licensing exams, we chose Luke's to drop studying, wind down and just enjoy a good meal. We chose right. Service was fantastic, knowledgeable and fun. The food was incredible, each plate was a star. We started off with the PB&J spare ribs, because well, we had to try this combination and we were pleasantly surprised. We also ordered the Flat Iron Steak, the Rock Shrimp and the Roasted Parsnips. Steak was cooked perfectly and beautifully tender. The Rock Shrimp was a flavor bomb and the Roasted Parsnips were phenomenal. I tried (with some success) recreating this dish at home later that week we loved it so much. read more

We came in for dinner and had another fantastic experience! Service is always excellent. The restaurant is beautiful. To drink, I always get the White Linen. It's so pretty and refreshing. For an appetizer, we got the tomato basil flatbread. It was simple and so flavorful. Their flatbreads are our favorite items to share with the table. For my entree, I got the rigatoni which came in a creamy sauce with fennel sausage and broccolini. We were very impressed with the rigatoni. It was rich, savoy, and salty. Every element was cooked to perfection. It was perfect. We love Luke's! read more
I always love the experience I have at Luke's Kitchen. I randomly visited on a Sunday for brunch and had a great meal. Everything was very flavorful and well cooked. The service was amazing as well. I mentioned that my potatoes were over cooked and my server gave me a little treat to make up for the issue. The restaurant is beautiful with comfortable seating and well managed acoustics. I plan to continue to frequent Luke's! read more
Place is very welcoming and modern decor. I set at the bar to stop in for Happy Hour, food was fresh and hot and came out in less than 10 minutes. Service was very fast which i was expecting it to be that great because they had a nice crowd! Will definitely have to come back for dinner! French fries came out hot and you can taste the rosemary! I also tried the fried green tomatoes topped with rock shrimp remoulade, paired well together for a quick bite in between meetings. read more

It was just okay- The happy hour was okay, the food was just okay. Nothing blew my socks off. And to add, the AC vents were leaking some really brown liquid onto the floor..? Gross The staff was okay, the prices high, just okay all around wouldn't come back for the food or drinks and they need to get their vents fixed haha . See picture below it's pretty gross. read more
Luke's restaurant is physically a very nice venue with good food. The artichoke crab dip was very good and the chips were very crisp and delicious. The dip was very cheesy with large lumps of crab. I had the rigatoni which was good but I had to send it back because it first came out room temperature. The steaks that my dinner companions had were good and served at the right temperatures. Overall the restaurant is worth a try. The price point is on the higher side. read more

This place truly impressed me. I hadn't looked it up beforehand, so I didn't know what to expect, but everything we tried was outstanding. We started with the Thai coconut shrimp and tuna tartare, both incredibly fresh and packed with flavor. The server mentioned that most of their ingredients are locally sourced, which you can definitely taste. I ordered the crab cakes for my entrée and they did not disappoint. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and paired with a delicious sauce that added just the right contrast. My fiancé had the New York strip, also full of flavor and cooked just right. The only thing I'd love to see is an additional side option besides French fries, but honestly, everything else made up for it. The vibe, the food, the service, it all made for an amazing night. I had a great time here for Happy Hour. I have been missing out all these years. It looks like they switch up their Happy Hour menus from time to time. I am jealous of the people who got to experience the crab fingers and deviled eggs. I will go back to try more things. I didn't even get to have a drink on this visit. I deff need a redo. So far so good though. It is cute inside. It looks like the people at the bar may have been regulars and they didn't leave quickly. That tells me that this is a great spot for Happy Hour and that they love it here! read more
Yum! I stopped in this weekend to enjoy a meal with my family and I was very impressed. The atmosphere is wonderful. It's perfect for groups - they had many tables ready for larger settings. However, the dim lighting also made it seem like a great date night stop. To start we all decided that dips were the way to go. We tried the chips and dip as well as the fondue. The chips and dip were definitely freshly made - nice potato chips with a BLT and onion dip. To die for! The fondue was perfect for the seafood lovers at the table and served with what seemed to be pita chips - some of the best I've had. Most of my group tried fish entrees. All of them were cooked to perfection! We had salmon, halibut, swordfish, and tuna at the table. The fish was amazing but the vegetables really took all of the dishes to the next level. Somewhat last minute dinner at Luke's. Usually have at least one other person with me, but I'm flying solo this evening. It's Monday, and it's not crowded, yet still some lively groups. My rye Manhattan was perfectly prepared. The sausage, salumi, chile crisp flatbread was delicious. I got roasted mushroom soup to go for tomorrow (along with my leftover flatbread). I also got dessert (the malted brownie) to go for later. Faith provided attentive, efficient, and friendly service with a warm smile. Always a pleasure to come to Luke's. read more
Great New Years Eve prix fix. Very reasonable for what they offered The crab chowder was luscious. The duck croquette was stuffed with duck meat and no filler and the crispy exterior was not greasy. The sauces for the lobster and the duck entrees were both outstanding. read more

Went for a light dinner during Happy Hour and everything was great! Their tomato, fontina, and basil sourdough flatbread was delicious. The food was delicious and a good price. Our waitress, Sammy, was the sweetest! She was kind and made our experience warm, welcoming, and enjoyable. The atmosphere was dim and chill. We had the mushroom soup and artichoke dip for starters, and the rigatoni and filet mignon for main dishes. Mushroom soup was creamy and full of flavor 5/5. Artichoke dip was really good, but very filling/a bit oily 4.5/5. Rigatoni was delicious and you can really taste the wine in the sauce 5/5. Filet mignon was extremely tender and flavorful , and the mashed potatoes that come with it is super creamy as well 5/5. Would def recommend for dinner. read more
We had a wonderful luncheon after viewing dresses with my daughter. My friend and I shared a kale salad and gluten free flatbread. So delicious! The flatbread had fig, goat cheese ham. The kale salad was chock full of yummy ingredients. Couldn't get enough! Everyone else loved their food too and the waitress, Alejandra was amazing. Amazing time at Luke's last Friday. We came early for dinner around 5. They do have a mandatory, but complimentary, valet parking so be aware of that. Entrance was presentable. Weather was beautiful outside, so we asked to sit on the patio. Very clean, free of leaves and debris. Fans were on, plants were nice and the tables were clean. Great environment out there! Slid in just in time for some happy hour specials, which are a couple dollars per some apps and drinks. The wings were excellent. So fresh, hot and crispy. Must try! Also did the white linen to drink which was excellent crafted. Meals - we did the burger, flatbread and Caesar salad. All around very good. Flatbread was cooked perfectly. As was the burger. Very hardy, tasty and filling. Caesar was crisp and flavorful. Service was excellent. Server was well timed, professional and fun! I would not hesitate to come back to Luke's very soon. Luke's has warm and inviting atmosphere, with a modern flare. Comfortable.... We were seated outside and enjoyed the mild Florida evening. The food was phenomenal. We started with the oysters on the half shell and the yellow fin tuna tartar. The tuna was flavorful with the perfect blend of spice and sweetness with a hint of mint. Oysters....I love em but they are oysters...lol. Entrée were the pork chop, New York strip and I had the Filet Mignon. The meats were perfectly cooked to order with excellent seasonings and sides. There is nothing I enjoy more than a fresh made Bernaise sauce. The service was a little lacking. It started with asking for an ice tea no lemon and receiving ice tea with a lemon....not a huge deal but obviously the waiter was not listening... Appetizers arrived with oysters first, then 7 or 8 minutes later the tartar....again, not a huge deal but why not bring them together? Apps cleared away....then came the entrée. Once again.... The pork chop showed up alone... Then 3-4 minutes later my filet.... 5-6 minutes later the NY steak.... Not sure if the kitchen was having timing issues or what but we waited until all the dishes arrived before eating to be polite. The service was spotty at best and a bit of a disappointment when you are eating at an upscale restaurant. A few of the waitress staff spent a lot time at a table of their friends and seemed to be neglecting their duties.... read more

We came in here for a couple appetizers and drinks. I had flight of the kiwi which tasted fresh. The appetizers came out seperately as they became available which was perfect because it allowed us to finish the first before starting the second. The sausage Salumi flatbread was delish. We got the chili on the side and I put plenty ontop of my slices. The ambiance is nice however we had to shoo some small flies from our food because the doors are wide open. It this is common in florida. I likes how you can see inside the kitchen and do the prep work. Alejandra brought us our drinks and reviewed the menu by naming each section when we told her it was our first time. Definitely missed opportunities to upsell but was pleasant. read more
