So I decided to just stop here grab a drink, grab some food and head to a friends's home. So I ordered the wings and I decided to get them extra crispy. I sat there and had a drink at the bar myself, and that was delicious. The wings were even better, the wings were so good that we finished them in a matter of moments and I made an order for two. I wanna say a few hours later, we ended up coming back to have the wings again because they were so good. We decided to order several of the snacks and share. -chips and dip: this was yummy and a good bar order! The bacon was prominent which I enjoyed. The kettle chips were nice and crispy. -cubano sliders: the pork was scrumptious. There was 3 sliders for the order. I think this dish is worth the price. -fries: hot and crispy. Can't go wrong with a salty snack to pair with a cold cocktail. -mushroom, ham, fig, goat cheese flatbread: plenty for 2 people to share. We love fig in our charcuterie boards so this was practically the best version of a charcuterie board on a flatbread. Service was decent. I suggest getting here right when the restaurant opens if you wish to get a seat at the bar. It seemed to fill up fast. The inside of the restaurant was pretty and clean. Service was fantastic, knowledgeable and fun. The food was incredible, each plate was a star. We started off with the PB&J spare ribs, because well, we had to try this combination and we were pleasantly surprised. We also ordered the Flat Iron Steak, the Rock Shrimp and the Roasted Parsnips. Steak was cooked perfectly and beautifully tender. The Rock Shrimp was a flavor bomb and the Roasted Parsnips were phenomenal. This place truly impressed me. I hadn't looked it up beforehand, so I didn't know what to expect, but everything we tried was outstanding. We started with the Thai coconut shrimp and tuna tartare, both incredibly fresh and packed with flavor. The server mentioned that most of their ingredients are locally sourced, which you can definitely taste. I ordered the crab cakes for my entrée and they did not disappoint. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and paired with a delicious sauce that added just the right contrast. My fiancé had the New York strip, also full of flavor and cooked just right. Yum! I stopped in this weekend to enjoy a meal with my family and I was very impressed. The atmosphere is wonderful. It's perfect for groups - they had many tables ready for larger settings. However, the dim lighting also made it seem like a great date night stop. To start we all decided that dips were the way to go. We tried the chips and dip as well as the fondue. The chips and dip were definitely freshly made - nice potato chips with a BLT and onion dip. To die for! The fondue was perfect for the seafood lovers at the table and served with what seemed to be pita chips - some of the best I've had. Most of my group tried fish entrees. All of them were cooked to perfection! We had salmon, halibut, swordfish, and tuna at the table. The fish was amazing but the vegetables really took all of the dishes to the next level. We started with the oysters on the half shell and the yellow fin tuna tartar. The tuna was flavorful with the perfect blend of spice and sweetness with a hint of mint. Oysters....I love em but they are oysters...lol. Entrée were the pork chop, New York strip and I had the Filet Mignon. The meats were perfectly cooked to order with excellent seasonings and sides. There is nothing I enjoy more than a fresh made Bernaise sauce. The service was a little lacking. It started with asking for an ice tea no lemon and receiving ice tea with a lemon....not a huge deal but obviously the waiter was not listening... Appetizers arrived with oysters first, then 7 or 8 minutes later the tartar....again, not a huge deal but why not bring them together? Apps cleared away....then came the entrée. Once again.... The pork chop showed up alone... Then 3-4 minutes later my filet.... 5-6 minutes later the NY steak.... Not sure if the kitchen was having timing issues or what but we waited until all the dishes arrived before eating to be polite. The service was spotty at best and a bit of a disappointment when you are eating at an upscale restaurant. Amazing time at Luke's last Friday. We came early for dinner around 5. They do have a mandatory, but complimentary, valet parking so be aware of that. Entrance was presentable. Weather was beautiful outside, so we asked to sit on the patio. Very clean, free of leaves and debris. Fans were on, plants were nice and the tables were clean. Great environment out there! Slid in just in time for some happy hour specials, which are a couple dollars per some apps and drinks. The wings were excellent. So fresh, hot and crispy. Must try! Also did the white linen to drink which was excellent crafted. Meals - we did the burger, flatbread and Caesar salad. All around very good. Flatbread was cooked perfectly. As was the burger. Just popping in to update my review of Luke's because they've become one of my fave places for elevated takeout. It's been awhile since I've dined in, but I am currently obsessed with their roasted mushroom soup and have ordered it 3 times in the last week. It's made with crispy leek, chives, and truffle and OMG I could eat it every day... probably one of the best soups I've ever had. I would legit sell a kidney to get my hands on this recipe (lol). I also really like their deviled eggs, chips & BLT dip, Florida citrus salad, and their garlic sausage, salumi, and chili crunch sourdough flatbread. Refreshed and ready! Lukes kitchen recently went through a small remodel of the restaurant and remake of their menu! Consider it an update and not a full redo! My parents flew into town to visit my brothers and I so on the first day we decided to introduce them to the updated Lukes Kitchen! One of my brothers didn't make a reservation so when I arrived on time and noticed the parking lot was completely full on a Wednesday, I immediately went to work and put in a reservation for 6 with the hostess! "No worries" she said, it would be about a 30 minute wait! All good as my family was still about 10 minutes behind! I then went to the bar (Luke's has a great bar area) and secured seats from people getting up to leave! The updated menu looks good (I haven't done a comparison) but we noticed the fish collar was no longer available but other delicious sounding items were there! The bartender greeted me and I went with the strawberry swing drink! It was a great start that was refreshing and tasty for a mocktail! My family arrived and we soon got a table! The server was welcoming and got the family going with a round of drinks. The best cocktail at Luke's is white linen drink and they kept it on menu however the glasses it comes in are noticeably smaller from before . However, we went next into appetizers and went with the chips & dip and 2 orders of the tuna tartar! The tuna tartar is done in these pani peri small cups which makes them a nice single bite! Most of my family ordered the chairman's New York Strip for their main and looked well done! It comes with shoe string fries which aren't a favorite of mine but the bite I had of the steak was well done! I ordered the market Fish which today was the Halibut! Check out the photos!
