    Whiskey Sour & Cocktail
    Megan J.

Went for happy hour on a thursday and had zero complaints! It wasn't busy so we were able to enjoy the porch to ourselves! You order up front and they bring you the food & drinks quickly to your table. I ordered a Whiskey sour which was the $8 "Drink of the Day", the happy hour 1 smash burger and half order of the cob salad. The meal was great! No complaints! There's also Kelly's Icecream in the same location- perfect for a sweet treat. Bathrooms were clean, staff was super friendly. A nice place to go with larger groups too!

Stopped in for a coffee and a tea with my partner as we love Foxtail Coffee. What I saw when I walked in was a lot out front that place not only has a Foxtail coffee but they serve food and have a Kelly's ice cream as well as a full bar with liquor, beer and wine looking around and talking with the barista I found out they also have game night and trivia night so I thought this would be a really cool place to come with your friends and pregame since it's right downtown not far from the 50 Mills area as well as downtown Orlando and Southern Nights Orlando. This time around I got the peach tea which was pretty yummy, but I definitely recommend adding some sugar for natural sweetener if that's your thing because it comes natural. I will leave another review soon when I go check it out with friends.

Located in the Milk District is The Milkhouse, such a fun and unique spot! When you walk in, there's a bar where you can order drinks and food, and on the right side you'll find Foxtail Coffee and Kelly's Ice Cream inside, which makes it feel like a little mini food hall. I sat at the bar and ordered a pumpkin espresso martini, and it was so good, definitely one of my favorites! For food, I got a burger, which was okay overall, though the bun seemed a bit stale. The vibe here is really cute and relaxed, and I could totally see myself coming back to study, grab a drink, and have a bite to eat. It's a great neighborhood spot with lots of potential!

Stopped in on Valentine's Day during the night for a few drinks and even though the spot was busy, the service was attentive and the staff were friendly. They had live music til 10 pm and it was a nice touch while still being easy to hear our conversation. The drinks are amazing! I got the espresso martini and a coconut seasonal cocktail (sorry I can't remember the name). They also have a Kelly's homemade ice cream for that sweet tooth craving. Definitely a spot I'll return to.

Popped in to Milkhouse for a quick business meeting and happy hour with a friend. We sat at the bar for Swine and Sons. Service was great! Food delicious. We had the fried pickles. Prices acceptable, especially for happy hour. It is a conglomeration of different eateries so if you aren't sure what you want to eat -- no problem. You will find something to satisfy your culinary itch. Perfect for those who are less decisive! It is in close proximity to the Plaza. I actually went to a concert afterwards. I would say that it isn't necessary to walk but I like walking so I guess it worked out but I would keep an eye out since the neighborhood is more 'urban' and there are a couple of cars nearby so imo that can attract some undesired activity later in the evening. Parking is limited but you can find something on the street. Great spot for a date. Lots to do nearby. You can shoot pool at Sportstown or play darts. Hit up the bars. The choice is yours!

Clean, fantastic service, and delicious food. Layla was extremely nice and accommodating. The happy hour menu is an amazing deal. I ordered crispy pickles, 2x curly fries, 3 single sliders, and 1 hot chicken slider. This was more than enough food for two people. They do not skimp at Swine & Sons. Note: the "single" slider is actually a DOUBLE PATTY singular slider...yum! The hot chicken slider was so crispy and juicy, I personally loved it more than the burger even though the burger was so delicious. Curly fries were very well seasoned and pickles were perfectly briny. Food came out quick. I would 100% come back, small but extremely mighty happy hour menu. Where else would you go to feed two for ~$35, with leftovers?

Overall experience was great. I was a little perplexed when I first came in. I didn't see the sign for self seating. The wait wasn't too long and the staff was great. Our server was so kind and brought pickled veggies with our burgers to try. Surprisingly the pickled carrots and cauliflower are great. If you have the chance try it on the side with your burger. The food came our hot and fresh. The burger was moist and juicy. The fries were also perfect. Though they are not on the crispy side, I prefer them that way but my friend wanted them more crispy.

    Coffee section

Something for everyone: bar, ice cream, and coffee under one roof. Cozy, casual, and laid back farmhouse industrial aesthetic. The Kale apple salad with chicken breast was nothing special. Chicken was lukewarm and slightly rubbery. Staff was friendly and prompt.

Decided to kick off my 2025 food tour with a local favorite: Milkhouse. I've been a fan of Milkhouse since day one. The staff is great. Service is speedy - even at busier times - and the overall atmosphere is very nice. It has a modern barn house / rustic feel to it with ample seating. There's also ample outdoor seating - which is typically where I like to sit. Also, Milkhouse, houses a Foxtail Coffee and Kelly's Ice Cream - both of which I've enjoyed individually at their stand alone shoppes and satellite shops. As far as the food and drinks go, I have yet to have anything that wasn't good. My usual is their wedge salad with a glass of wine, however, I decided to try their deviled egg toast. I also paired it with a lavender matcha latte. The lavender matcha latte was DELICIOUS!! I am kicking myself for not ordering another one to go! And the deviled egg toast was pretty good too. I wish the egg were seasoned just a tad more - I LOVE deviled eggs and can honestly eat them at any given moment. Outside of that, it was good and filling. Price points are reasonable across the board for food and beverages. It was a nice lunch date with myself! And I'll continue to be a BIG FAN of Milkhouse. I always recommend this spot and I can't wait to see how their menu changes per season because they do offer seasonal selections. All in all, GO! You won't regret it!

I stopped in for a quick lunch bite and the server recommended their chicken sandwich when I asked. Unfortunately, the chicken was quite bland despite having what present as a well seasoned crunch coating. The pickles and the fries were very good but the food was underwhelming at best. I went on a weekday a shortly after 11 and I was the only one inside when I arrived but the patio seemed busy. The server was attentive and helpful when I asked questions.

It's been a hot minute since I've been here and I'm glad I gave it another shot. The food has definitely improved and the chicken sandwich was definitely spicy!

Nice place, well themed and really great drinks. Pretzel appetizer is a great deal, loads of bites & cheese. We came right as a rush came in & only 1 server, who was good but had to do alot of tables. They had a separate ice cream business, did not do it but curious if it is good.

Wouldn't order this again. Second, I tried a $17 Adam & Eve. I wish the matcha was much stronger. There's a place in Tampa called Tori Bar that has a super duper matcha tasting cocktail. This one was much lighter. It was fine, not my favorite. Maybe I'd bring a date here sometime, but wouldn't go out of my way to come here.

Southern comfort food as a general rule just doesn't sit well with me anymore and I'm going to be very transparent and bare my soul a little bit here but here goes . . . Ever since being on GLP1's, I've developed a really complicated relationship with comfort food. Foods that are rich, buttery, creamy or fatty now hit me completely differently than they used to. It's almost like my body immediately goes into shutdown mode afterwards. I feel heavy, exhausted and like I've instantly ballooned even if the portions themselves aren't massive. For the longest time I honestly thought it was simply the richness of the food itself but now I realize it's because my digestion just can't process heavier comfort foods the same way anymore. Suddenly... it all makes sense. The food itself here is VERY good. Properly seasoned, well prepared, beautifully presented... absolutely no complaints there whatsoever. I simply have to become more mindful and strategic now with my menu selections no matter WHERE I dine. I chose the Creekstone Farm's NY Strip with the fabulous bone marrow which I KNOW is supposed to be incredibly nutrient rich and good for you... but honestly... it just about put me under afterwards. This dinner happened thanks to Ronnald M. and his sister Teris and it was our pre-opera dinner outing before seeing the fabulous Merry Widow at the Dr. Phillips Center. The Monroe is honestly a very good pre-concert restaurant choice because of both the atmosphere and location... I'm just personally learning that this new GLP1 reality means I can't approach menus the way I used to anymore.
