I'd like to thank this lounge for giving us such a warm welcome and creating a fun atmosphere to celebrate my sister's birthday on Saturday! We were greeted by Lisa and Leah, who are sisters, and their incredible customer service truly set the tone for the rest of the afternoon. While the food wasn't the best, the drinks, service, and music were absolutely top-tier! The space is small, so I highly recommend making reservations if you're coming with a large group, or you can grab a seat at the bar. We laughed, danced, drank, and ate for almost two hours--it was such a great time! Parking can be tricky; there's free street parking if you get there early, or nearby lots that charge $20. The venue itself is stunning, with beautiful interiors and outdoor seating. They start offering hookah after 2 PM, but we were leaving around that time. The DJ (@OACEKID) was phenomenal--one of the best we've experienced at a brunch in a long time! Stumbled across this place while visiting the area .We made reservations a few days out and did the 50 dollar deposit for my group . The Saturday was slow not many servers and took for ever for the payment . The music was okay it was a curated playlist that looped . It ended up very busy which slowed it down even more when it came to the service . The mango margarita was very subpar. I went with the steak , eggs, and has brown which was okay. Half of my table food came out almost 40 min after everyone else and they only had omelettes which was shocking . The server did her best and was pleasant at times and others snappy. I stopped in the Eola lounge late night with friends. It was July 3 and it wasn't too crowded. Our server took a menu pic from the last place I had been and created a drink. He did a fabulous job recreating the drink. Actually the drink tasted better than the one I had nearby lol. We ordered crab fried rice and wings. The rice was too salty for my taste buds. But the wings were yummy! They were fried perfectly with a crispy outside and a juicy inside. And the sauce was good too, sweet and spicy. Our server was friendly and attentive! This was a genuinely horrendous experience. We booked a birthday reservation over a month in advance and paid a $100 deposit. When we arrived, staff couldn't find the reservation and offered no real explanation. Instead of resolving it, they had us standing at the bar for over an hour while they "figured it out." Their solution was to split our group across two random tables they dragged in from outside. We had to insist on being seated together, which should have been the bare minimum given this was a planned birthday reservation. Service only got worse from there. It was slow, inconsistent, and completely disorganized. What should have been a simple birthday brunch turned into a four-hour headache. We arrived at 1:30 PM and didn't leave until 5:30 PM, and not because we were enjoying ourselves. To make matters worse, the experience left a bad taste in my mouth, literally and figuratively. This place is poorly managed and clearly not equipped to handle reservations or special occasions. Save your time, your money, and your event. Go somewhere else. read more

Our reservation was for 11:30 am. Some of our party arrived a little before that and waited outside as the restaurant wasn't open or prepped. We were seated at 12:00 pm and told we couldn't order as the kitchen wasn't prepped or ready. The person who made the reservation then asked about her deposit back due to the lack of professionalism. The hostess who seated us remarked, "Well it was the owner's birthday party last night!". That has nothing to do with the price of tea in China at this point. Buratta had no hint of truffle, and pork belly bao's were underwhelming. The temperature of the wings were cold, and bland. I did not try the lamb, but the feedback there was unsatisfactory. I'm sorry to say, but I will not be returning. There are too many other options in this area. One of our friends was celebrating being on the 40 under 40 list so naturally we went to Eola Lounge to celebrate and by celebrating, I mean drink....a lot lol. My boyfriend and I didn't eat but we drank about 4 cocktails. He had 2 old fashioneds which he said were really good and I had The Fountain which was ok and the Reisling from Germany which I wasn't a huge fan of (it was a bit more tart than I was expecting.) I will say the reason I gave the restaurant 5 stars was because the waiter was PHENOMENAL. I wish I got his name because he was that good. However, I'm not the biggest fan of the menu or the food; which put a damper on my experience. Food Cons: the menu is very limited (only one chicken option if you do not eat pork or seafood); my grits were very bland (I added salt and pepper); I ordered the chicken (typically with the waffles) to pair with my grits, but the batter on the chicken was very sweet. I was not a fan of this at all and I typically LOVE a good fried chicken. My friend ordered the beef Roman and did not finish after only two bites; he said it was bland. Drinks: We only ordered mimosas, which were a reasonable price for downtown ($7). I didn't see anything drastically different with the Eola mimosa to pay an extra $1, so my friend switched to the regular orange mimosa. A champagne bottle is $25, and worth it; however, our waiter never mentioned this. The server who brought out our food mentioned this after we were already 2 drinks in. Overall, I will not return for brunch. The menu was too limited for me and I couldn't enjoy most items (and didn't like my food). Christmas Eve I had the opportunity to try out this restaurant for a birthday party. The atmosphere was super cute and trendy. A few photo ops and it's nice and quaint in the downtown Orlando area. Food presentation and ambience are key here! Eola Lounge is a new spot that opened up in the Thornton Park area just a couple of months ago. It took me a second to physically find the spot but found it tucked between Oudom Thai and the Stubborn Mule. It has a nice outdoor area plus a spacious renovated interior. Now let me tell you something about the food presentation at Eola Lounge... it does not disappoint! The entrees came out on wooden platters that were well decorated and articulated. I tried the lamb rack which was comprised of 3 lamb ribs accompanied by truffle fries and tzatziki. The lamb was well seasoned and cooked- though slightly more cooked that I would normally like but still pretty good. The truffle fries were a great accompaniment to the meal. While the food presentation was great, don't come here if you're too hungry as the plates are on the smaller side and pricy, but again great presentation and good food! I'll probably be back to explore more of their menu and enjoy the outdoor seating once the lovely Florida humid summer simmers down. read more

My boyfriend and I visited eola lounge in 2024 for dinner and was excited to recommend it for my sister's birthday trip to Orlando. Due to the size of the party she was required to pay a $100 deposit for an 11:30 reservation for Sunday brunch. When we arrived at the restaurant, lights were off and chairs were still on top of the tables. We were told by a server that they had an event the night before and they were still setting up the restaurant. She was mopping at that time. At about 11:55 the server invited our party in and sat us. The restaurant was still dark, most tables still had chairs on top, and decorations were still up from the party. The waitress offered us waters for the meantime and said the bar was still waiting to be set up. The lack of preparedness was unacceptable. When asked for the manager, he took his time to come out and speak with our party. When asked for a refund of our deposit he responded "we don't typically do refunds, would you like to book for another day." We were told that the owner had a party the night before so they were still cleaning up. I am not sure how this was our problem due to them knowing we booked our reservation weeks in advance. They were out of the tiger's wings but had the garlic wings so we went with that. The wings were ok. Truffle fries not too bad. We were still hungry so ordered the shaken beef entree to split. The entree did not come with rice so we ordered one on the side. The shaken beef was not seasoned what so ever so it had no taste. Nothing like Vietnamese shaken beef dish. I'm a regular at Eola Lounge, and usually the service is great, but my recent visit was disappointing. My server, Tam O, unfortunately was not very attentive -- she only came to our table twice the entire time we were there, and I had to ask another server from a different table for help multiple times. Eventually, I requested to speak with the manager, William, who was excellent. He was very understanding, professional, and kind. He even removed some items from my bill, which I truly appreciated, though it wasn't about the money -- I just don't think customers should have to pay for poor service.
