Came here for a girls night dinner a couple months ago and forgot to write a review so here it is. Ambiance is a 10/10 and so is the service. The food was quite tasty as well. We wanted to try their espresso martinis and we weren't disappointed. My friend got a regular one while I tried their tiramisu inspired one... wow. Definitely recommend!!
I stopped in for the first time as I've heard great things about Otto's. We didn't have much time so just grabbed a drink outside. We ordered a Mai tai, a mojito and two others I can't remember from the bar cart outside the restaurant. Everything was so yummy- though I would have loved to see some garnish (some mint) for the mojito. The bartender was so nice and got my order in before he closed. I'll have to return earlier to try some food and another specialty cocktail.
This was my first time here and definitely not my last! Service , ambiance and food were all 5 stars for sure. I originally came here to meet a client and ended up staying for food and drinks with another friend who also wanted to try this place. I am a lover of any kind of oyster and these were so fresh , I could have easily ordered another round. I have a lot of special things to celebrate coming up so I do plan to come back with friends and family and have a good time !!!
It makes sense why Otto's is recognized as a Bib Gourmand because wow! The food, thr atmosphere and ambience, and the service were all top notch. I could've just stayed there all evening and night ordering food and trying plates because the portions were perfect and the food was SO ridiculously good. A perfect edit between Cuban and Florida food - our lobster croquetas were the star of the show, the tres leches, the bistec con arroz y frijoles were just heavenly. And my husband loved his drink too. We can't wait to come back already!
Went on a Wednesday to celebrate a life event. Got there early but they seated us right away. Our server came over right away and got our drink order. Two very good old fashions. Started with the fish dip and some oysters. Fish dip is actually a pretty bigger portion. Almost as big as the flavors. Very good and they brought some extra bread wedges as we needed them. The oysters were very good. Baked in a chile lime butter sauce. We had the skirt steak (another big portion) and it was very flavorful. Just the right amount of char complimenting the preparation. Black beans, rice and tostones finished off the presentation. The Mariscado was delicious. Plenty of mussels. clams and shrimp. The fish portion was also just about right. I will say the chorizo gets kinda lost in the dish. Good once I discovered the bits in the bottom but really not adding much to the dish. The broth was very good and I took the leftovers home. We finished off the night with an attempt to eat the Toasted Coconut Rum Cake. They had a nice flambe presentation and we couldn't finish it. It was very good the next day as well. Staff was attentive from the server to the expeditor. All made sure we had a memorable experience.
OK, it's been too long to write about Ottos, and I've been going for a few years. This update, dated April 2026, summarizes a few thoughts. The ownership group and consistent staff at Otto's High Dive continue to bring a refreshing atmosphere, great customer service, luminous and invigorating cocktails, and a vibe! Now Ottos is a Bar, yes, but they also offer what I would say is above-average food dishes for a dive (Ottos is not a dive, but you get what I mean). In fact, there are times at Ottos that I think the staff is more interested in telling you about the food and what goes into it than in the cocktails they have. (hey, that's ok)! By far my favorite cocktail is the Emerald Dream! If you are reading this in late April 2026, it is sadly no longer available, even if you see it on the menu (which you just might). Go for the drinks and the vibe, but stay for the food and service! Ottos is a great addition to the Milk District.
Otto's is a very unique take on a Cuban restaurant with high-end flare where it matters and keeping things simple where you should. Starting with the smoked fish dip, it was very light and fresh and a good way to wet the palate while we sipped on drinks. Square Grouper was a very fun cocktail both in color and flavor. If you like deep flavors, the Cuba Libre isn't your average cola cocktail and packs a delicious punch. For mains, we went with the classic Ropa Vieja and the roast pork. This is where Otto's shines taking such simple meals and executing them perfectly. Both were so juicy and tender and the rice and beans are not just a side but a memorable addition. The restaurant is very quaint and perfectly on theme without being cheesy. Parking can be a struggle so be sure to arrive with plenty of time before a reservation, which I also highly recommend. Our waitress was very sweet and easily explained some of the more unique cocktail ingredients and their features. She also helped formulate a custom drink for one of my dining partners who was looking for something specific. Otto's comes with high praise from both locals and media and I see why. Everything across the board was very well done and I would return in a heartbeat.
We made reservations for Sunday brunch at Otto's High Dive and I'm so glad we did--this place absolutely lived up to the hype. Our group ended up sampling what felt like half the menu, and everything was consistently excellent. The Mojo Pork Sandwich was a standout--packed with flavor and easily big enough to share. The Pan Dolce was just as impressive and the perfect sweet complement to the meal. The drinks were just as memorable. I started with an espresso martini that was perfectly balanced, and we wrapped things up with the Floridita Daiquiri, which was refreshing and done right. Great atmosphere, fantastic food, and a menu that makes you want to come back again and again. Highly recommend grabbing a reservation, especially for brunch!
A review from an n/a drinker: The coqui mocktail has pandan, granny smith, citrus, coconut, and pineapple. This drink really blew me away on how refreshing, delicious, and wholesome. I do not like to drink so sometimes ordering a mocktail can be disappointing as it could be too sweet and lackluster in flavor. Otto's high dive does an exceptional job on making this drink like a whole experience. You're not just getting a mocktail, you're getting a carefully crafted drink full of flavor that invites you to sit back relax and enjoy a taste bud party. I couldn't say I would go back to any place for a mocktail, but I sure have found it here at Otto's.
I love Otto's High Dive. I have been twice now and I will certainly try to go more. We went for happy hour on a Thursday but it was so fun and such a vibe. The interior is so pretty and the staff is so great. Shout out to Brandon the bartender. He was really nice and cool and really made our experience. The prices are excellent during their happy hour. I can definitively say there isn't a single item on the menu that I thought was just ok or just good. Everything here is excellent. We got the tostones, frita burger, beef pincho, and smoked fish dip. For drinks, we got the banana coffee, mai tai, mojito, and Brandon's drink which is key lime pie in drink form. I think everyone should go at least once. Beyond the fact that there is so much love and thought that has gone into the menu, service, and concept, it is a fun place to go to. My only gripe is the parking lot. They share it with other places so it's very limited. 10/10 I will be back.
We came in for their Valentine's Day pre fixe menu and had an incredible experience! The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. Service was fantastic! So friendly and attentive! They started us off with a beautiful flute of champagne. I also ordered the chancleta cocktail and it was absolutely delicious with mezcal, watermelon, mint, and salted coconut. My boyfriend loves their ton of bricks cocktail. We had a lovely amuse bouche, which was a classy touch. Our first course was the shrimp bisque. It was so rich and flavorful. Next, was the burrata salad. It was very zesty and the cheese was super creamy. Next, we enjoyed the 6oz filet with patatas bravas and broccoli. This is one of the best steaks I've ever had in a very long time. The meat temperature was perfect. The seasoning was exceptional. The quality was stunning. Everything about this was heaven. To conclude, we enjoyed the rich chocolate cake. It was so rich and sweet in the best way. This was a phenomenal Valentine's Day and we will absolutely be back for another experience!
So glad I chose this place for our brunch with the girls! The atmosphere and decor was beautiful and clean. Our server was friendly and gave us awesome recommendations. I wanted some modifications on my drink and entree, and they happily accommodated me! I got the banana coffee without alcohol, not frozen, and added milk/cream. And I subbed the hollandaise sauce with mojo aioli for my benedict. DELICIOUS! They did not skimp on the crab and it was flavored beautifully. The plantain cornbread was subtly sweet and the coddled eggs were super jammy. I had a couple bites of my sister's lechon asado, and it was the best dish we had there! The prices are a little steep in my opinion, but at least the food is actually worthwhile. I would definitely come back here!

I am so glad I finally got to try Otto's! The food and drinks are delicious! We got the Vaca Frita which is a Flank Steak, Tostones, Caramelized Onions, Red Sofrito, and Aji Verde. The flavors are perfectly layered! Same goes for the Mojo Chicken - Roasted Chicken, Braised Onion, Chimichurri, White Rice, Black Beans, and Cuban Bread. The chicken was so moist! The service at the bar was great! Kudos to Brandon for making drink suggestions. We first had the espresso martini, then the Key Lime Fizz (adorable mini key lime cheesecake on top) and followed by the Piña Mamecita. The place is a little small, but decorated with a tropical kind of feel to it. Parking is also limited, however I think they are working on that. I'm already looking forward to going back, just wish I lived a little closer! read more

Otto's Dive Bar absolutely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in, we loved the atmosphere. The modern décor paired with classic Cuban music playing in the background created a classy, vibrant space with incredible energy and character. The standout dish of the night was, without question, the Squash & Burrata Salad. OH. MY. WORD. This may be one of my favorite dishes I've had all year. It was refreshing, slightly spicy, and packed with so much depth and texture. Every bite was perfectly balanced and left us wanting more. We also tried the lamb lollipops with cilantro-mint sauce and lemon garlic vinaigrette. The lamb was cooked flawlessly, tender and flavorful. The sauces complemented it well, although the vinaigrette leaned a little heavy on the lemon/vinegar for our taste. For our entrée, we shared the whole grilled snapper, and it was phenomenal. The fish was incredibly tender and well executed with savory and light garnishes. We especially loved the pickled peppers and the green sauce. The combination of mango and passion fruit was something I never would have expected to work so well, but the chef absolutely nailed it. To finish, we enjoyed the classic Cuban guava y queso pastelitos, which were the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal. Otto's easily one of our go to spots especially for some great Cuban food and drinks. Great spot indoors or outdoors and food is great every time we go. Always a great menu and always want to try new foods. This time went simple with the media noche and the lobster croquettes. read more
My husband and I came here for a happy hour on Friday afternoon. He got the old fashioned and I got a spicy margarita - solid drinks for $12. We paired it with oysters baked in butter lime, a shrimp skewer, and maduros. Every bite was delish - I wish we would have tried the whole Happy Hour menu! read more

i came here for a team lunch & the energy was so immaculate !! everyone really enjoyed both their food & drinks but beyond that, the space was just super elevated in every way. our servers & staff were so kind & patient as well. the decor was lush w/ greenery & beautiful lamps throughout the space. i also loved the giant windows bringing in natural light & i can see it being even more a vibe w/ all of the doors being open to create an outdoor, indoor experience. my drink was the arturo fuerte which was a coffee infused old fashioned & it was delicious. i paired it with the crab cake benedict which was full of flavor & had an added slightly sweet & soft cornbread that it sat on top of. this was just the breakfast experience so i know i would definitely love to try the dinner one as well. it was the perfect lunch outing & setting to get to know a new team. thank you otto's !! read more

Really enjoyed Otto's! We tried a few of their festive drinks, which were great and looked insta worthy, love they had a specialty holiday menu drinks--i loved their homemade coquito. It was busy, but we got seats at the bar, and the space has a nice vibe to it. We ordered oysters that were very fresh and the crab salad, which was delicious and generously portioned. Last time I came to Otto's I was so impressed by all the food and drinks, I definitely had to come back. My husband and I decided to do a midweek date night and even then the place was packed. We sat at the bar to have a drink while we waited for the table and the bartender was super cool and answered all our drink questions. My husband ordered a Floridita and I got the Todi Bird Cake. My husband really enjoyed his drink and my Todi Bird Cake was spectacular. The flavors were tropical without being overly sweet. Both drinks had good flavoring to them and after one drink you felt a little buzzed but in a good way. For dinner my husband ordered the Ribeye and I ordered the Ropa Vieja. My husband's ribeye was tender and literally melts in your mouth. He ordered congris with his meal but the rice was a little hard so he opted out for regular black beans with white rice, which was a better choice. My ropa vieja was saucy and had quite a bit of meat. It was seasoned well and the black beans with white rice complemented it perfectly. For dessert we ordered some champagne, pistachio coquito, and a guava and cheese pastillito. Champagne was on point and the pistachio coquito was amazing. The pastillito was warm, flakey, and the perfect amount of sweetness. Otto's is definitely a perfect date night spot and the vibes of the restaurant are relaxed and fun. Otto's hands down has some of the best food and drinks in all of Orlando. read more
Went for a Florida rum society event and it was busy and they were super in point. I ate I drank I had a great time really by myself at the bar. I highly recommend Otto's but I highly recommend making a reservation. We order their small plates to share. The crab salad was our favorite. Extensive cocktails on the menu! I had the dine of bricks, an old fashion with a twist! Louis of server was amazing and very attentive! Highly knowledgeable of the menu ! read more
This place was amazing! The food was so fresh and delicious! The flavors of everything are something to dream about. We arrived early for our reservation and the hostess was very kind and was able to get our table ready in a few minutes. The atmosphere and vibe of the entire place was stunning. Although it's not a signature cocktail, the espresso martini was absolutely perfect and exactly what I wanted. If you want a quiet and delicious dining experience this is where you need to go!!! my only complaint is that parking isn't ideal but when you find it, it's definitely worth it read more
First time trying this place and I have to say they probably have one of the best happy hours in Orlando. The space is small but the ambiance is open and welcoming. We opted to sit at the bar and service was fast and friendly. Everything we ordered was fantastic-- the media noche and shrimp skewers being my personal favorite. Each bite was flavorful and truly delicious. We also ordered the Mai tai and old fashioned (not pictured), both beautifully crafted and also delicious. Overall, this is a restaurant that definitely seems to live up to their Michelin star reputation and I definitely plan to return. read more

honestly a pretty meh experience the food was fine if you've never had cuban food before but it wasn't anything revolutionary. the congri was not congri at all but it was good. the beans had so much cumin it was overwhelming. the lechon asado was pretty fatty which was fine for me but as a heads up. the best part was the maduros -- perfectly soft + caramelized. the drinks were just B A D. i had the y que fue mocktail and it was SO salty. i was expecting a bit of a savor drink bc of the red miso but it was like the ocean. the server told us the left side of the menu was sweet drinks and the right was spirit forward drinks. my bestie picked on one the left side and it was straight liquor. not good. the worst part was the service. it was so slow, our server would walk past our table multiple times without stopping and checking in. it took about 15 min for her to come take our order and then the check sat on our table forever despite her walking past and standing near our table multiple times. read more

Otto's High Dive is a favorite and yet somehow I always forget how amazing the experience is, cradled in the Milkhouse District with feelings of neighborhood, community, and culture. I do hate how hard it is to get a reservation and now even bar seating is also reservation only which we had no idea as we arrived on a Thursday evening around 8pm and were still given an approximate wait time of an hour. Thankfully we waited maybe 15 mins and were seated at the bar, just me and my husband. Everyone knows they're fantastic mixologists, I've never had a bad cocktail here. The Floridian Slip is a go to for me, but the Banana Coffee was new. I don't do frozen drinks often as I get full off of them. I did use this one as a dessert drink after my meal which worked out great. Tons of flavor, sweet, and of course a kick to add a little buzz. The Mojo Chicken has been my go to in the past but when I saw the Lobster Escabeche with Plantain Cornbread I had to try it and there are no words to describe the amazing flavors, sweet and savory in each bite. I think I've found my new go-to. I highly recommend this dish!! During our visit we sat next to another bar owner out of DC and we shared our love of Chicago, food, spirits and vinyl lounges. It was great to connect with others continuing the goal of creating community and family in this great neighborhood space. I always enjoy Otto's and this was the reminder I needed to go out of my way to plan better to visit because reservations aren't easy to come by. read more

Had a great time at Otto's High Dive. The food and drinks definitely lived up to the hype. I tried the Vaca Fritos--solid 7/10. It was a little on the dry side, but still really flavorful and a great value for the price. Definitely a strong appetizer to kick things off. The real standout though was the drink (something swampy--I wish I remembered the exact name). Easy 10/10. Honestly, all of their cocktails are top-tier and consistently worth the higher price point. A few friends and I met up at Otto's for some after-work drinks and happy hour snacks. I had never been before and it was such a treat! (That's my one Halloween pun) Otto's High Dive is incredibly cozy and quaint, with amazing staff. Everyone was in the Halloween spirit and the restaurant and bar area were decorated to match. The food and drinks were delicious. My favorite drink was the Floridian Slip, and one of my friends could not get enough of the oysters and whatever vinaigrette came with it! I will absolutely be going back - there are many more drinks for me to try! read more
3.5 rounded for 4: Come here for drinks! Hip place with beautiful decor for Cuban food and rum drinks. The place was packed on a Wednesday night but we managed to get a seat at the bar without reservations. Our servers were attentive, with tons of personal recommendations and explanations about the menu. We ordered a variety of food and drinks, but I thought the food fell short of expectations while the drinks were phenomenal. I really recommend the drinks - I loved everything I tried despite not really being a rum person. For food, we ordered ceviche, vaca frita, squash and burrata, and ropa vieja. This place is amazing! I have been here a few times and items I typically don't like (like fish dip) I couldn't get enough of. The drinks are amazing and the food is delicious. The atmosphere is so nice but is very intimate. Be sure to make a reservation! Our waiter the last time we were there was excellent and even recommended other bars in the area! I absolutely love Otto's High Dive. They have fun authentic food and drinks and a laid back yet still classy atmosphere. I can live off their rice and beans. Idk what they put in their rice but it is so soft and savory. Their espresso martini is the best in Orlando! They have amazing coffee and espresso drinks as well as a full rum bar. They have a ton of different classic daiquiris to choose from. The happy hour is a must try when in Orlando! The servers and bartenders are always great and knowledgeable when it comes to gluten free and other food allergies. I have never had any issues being glutened here and feel very safe. They have lots of gluten free options. I recommend the shrimp skewer for happy hour or the Cuban Caesar salad without croutons, but most of the menu can be made gluten free. I will never turn down a trip to Otto's, and it's a great place to bring out of town guests. read more
3.5 Stars Lots to love about Otto's! The entire vibe is very cool and intimate, with an elegant tropical vibe. We were able to make same-day reservations (in the morning), and I definitely recommend doing this because this place gets packed even on a random weekday evening. The drinks here are fantastic -- I got the Coqui mocktail and loved it; it was so bright and refreshing. Would definitely come here again for the drinks alone. We had their Magical Dining menu, which was a great deal. The Ceviche appetizer was just ok; the fish quality was fantastic, but I found that the other ingredients weren't very complimentary to the dish; my avocado was unripe, a bit hard, and lacked flavor, and the watermelon had soaked up the mezcal, but wasn't sweet enough to counterbalance the strong flavor, so the flavors didn't gel and come together when you ate the dish. I also thought it lacked some of the brightness that you expect with ceviche. I upgraded to get the Skirt Steak and that was very good! The meat was cooked perfectly and was very tender. My husband said the black beans were some of the best he'd had. Overall, I thought the dish lacked some salt -- the steak and tostones, when eaten alone, were bland; but I did enjoy it as a whole and took it home because the portion size was very generous. It reheated well, which is pretty rare for steak. We ended with the Rum Cake, and I liked it a lot. The presentation was super cool and I loved the richness of the rum with the acidity and brightness of the lime curd; it's very sweet, but the combination is surprising and works super well together. Service was good and we have no complaints there. Honestly, the most negative part of this dining experience was the parking. Parking here was a PAIN. I'm not sure what they can do to fix this, but with a plaza full of heavy-hitters like Otto's, Stasio's, and Sideward Brewing -- be prepared to circle around for a bit or find street parking somewhere. It's not as bad during the day, but that parking lot gives me war flashbacks of the WP Trader Joe's parking lot come evening (but it's almost worse than the Trader Joe's lot because the lot is so small and weirdly laid out that it's possible for multiple cars to get stuck in the back part of the lot and they only way to get out is for everyone to coordinate and back their cars out along the driving lane). read more

The wait time was pretty long, but I understand they were probably short on servers. Once we were seated, the food came out in a reasonable amount of time and the drinks were amazing. The prices were a bit on the higher side, but they do serve generous portions. Overall, the food was good, but my favorite part of the meal was definitely the appetizers. The main dishes were decent, just not my personal favorite. I ordered the ropa vieja and it had a little too much oregano for my taste, and the black beans could have used a bit more flavor. Aside from that, everything else was enjoyable. The drinks were delicious and clearly well thought out, no complaints there at all. The staff was also very friendly and the ambiance was really nice. If I go back, it would definitely be for the drinks and appetizers. read more
