It's a classy Cuban restaurant in the milk district. But it gets the job done for a girl who misses her Miami Cuban food. I always admire the space when I enter. And the bar is stunning as well. I highly recommend making a reservation, even on a weekday. You'll be surprised by the amount of people coming through who enjoy a good meal and drinks here! I finally tried their espresso martini and it is on my list of top 5 best espresso martinis in Orlando. They have an espresso machine, so you know it's fresh. I was starving but thankfully the waiter was knowledgeable and told me that ordering the Vaca Frita as an appetizer is more than enough. (I'd say for 1 person but that's just me being big back. Also my friend was there just for the drinks and plantain chips). It's hard to not compare it to the authentic dish I had back in Miami. But I did enjoy their take on it. Wish the meat had more flavor, and was crispier and the whole chunks of garlic.. should have just been diced. We each got one more drink, and not going to lie the drink menu is unique. So shoutout to our waiter again. He asked what liquors/drinks I usually lean towards and suggested Leaf at Dawn. I have no photo but omg it was delightful

I am so glad I finally got to try Otto's! The food and drinks are delicious! We got the Vaca Frita which is a Flank Steak, Tostones, Caramelized Onions, Red Sofrito, and Aji Verde. The flavors are perfectly layered! Same goes for the Mojo Chicken - Roasted Chicken, Braised Onion, Chimichurri, White Rice, Black Beans, and Cuban Bread. The chicken was so moist! The service at the bar was great! Kudos to Brandon for making drink suggestions. We first had the espresso martini, then the Key Lime Fizz (adorable mini key lime cheesecake on top) and followed by the Piña Mamecita. The place is a little small, but decorated with a tropical kind of feel to it. Parking is also limited, however I think they are working on that. I'm already looking forward to going back, just wish I lived a little closer!

Food - The food was all amazing! For starters we ordered the Arancini and meat pie. For mains we got the pulled beef, and steak. Both were great with large portions. For drinks we got a pitcher of the sangria and I don't recall the flavor but it was very boozy. lol we could barely get through the pitcher. Service - The entire staff, host, server and manager were all very friendly and attentive. Our server made great recommendations food wise and for night life as we were from out of town. Ambiance - Nice decor and table setup. Good amount of space and tables. I liked the styling of the restaurant a lot. They also had blankets for the colder denizens of our table. Highly recommend stopping by Otto's High Dive. I know I'll be back next time we're in Orlando.

This was my first time here and definitely not my last! Service , ambiance and food were all 5 stars for sure. I originally came here to meet a client and ended up staying for food and drinks with another friend who also wanted to try this place. I am a lover of any kind of oyster and these were so fresh , I could have easily ordered another round. I have a lot of special things to celebrate coming up so I do plan to come back with friends and family and have a good time !!!

Just went to Otto's High Dive for the first time for brunch with friends and it was such an awesome experience. Parking is definitely a situation, but we went close to when they opened and were able to find spot. We got the crab cocktail which should not be missed, it's fun it's served with plantain chips. It's cuban twist on some classics that I thought were just super creative and fun. We also got the Waygu Tartare, Pescado Frito, Arroz con Pollo which were good but my husband got the Primo Sandwich was the best thing along with the crab salad. Service was great, Leslie took wonderful care of us and made great recs. The vibes were good, balance of people and music and chatter. Also if you're looking for a nice dessert closing drink, don't skip the "Flancocho", the flan custard foam topping was a dream.

This was so so yummy! One of the best Tartares I've had in a long time. We came during happy hour which seemed like pretty good deals but we stuck to the normal menu. It started getting busier after we sat so maybe make a reservation just to be safe. The inside was super fun and a vibe , definitely want to come back on a weekend and at a later time to check it out! The food and drinks were so delicious! If you like mezcal definitely try the elote bebe- it wasn't super sweet and you can taste the mezcal! As far as parking goes, it shares a parking lot with sideward brewing and stasios so it's going to be very busy and it's a small lot. I would maybe recommend taking an uber bc we drove around for a while looking for a spot. There is street parking on the next street over but that was also super packed. Overall fabulous meal and atmosphere and will be going back!

Otto's is such an awesome place! The drinks are incredible and food even better. It's a cute and small place in a popular area. Our waiter was super attentive and friendly. We started with the tartar which is UNREAL! Seriously the best I've had. Then we ordered the ribeye and thoroughly enjoyed it. The sauce on top along with the chimichurri was so good. We then ended with a flan espresso martinis which was the perfect sweet treat to end the night. The only thing that takes away from the evening is the parking situation. It is super hectic and you are lucky to find a spot in the lot! It took us 10 minutes to snag street parking then walk over. Other than that will be back to try more (will probably just uber)!

I love finding a place that makes me want to come back for more! Unique cocktails, a very kitschy Havana vibe with all the rum drink options and decor and the flavors and preparations of food were excellent. I'd choose a different cracker for the crab dip though, it was just too carby for me. Enjoyed the cucumber slices as an option for the dip! The tobacco bitters drink was unique and I enjoyed the candied orange it came with. The Vaca was flavorful! I would have liked even more of the green sauce! Get the flan! You won't regret it! Actually more dense and ganache than bouncy and jello like. Creamy and delicious! The portions were perfect. I also got the guava gin drink but, it wasn't my favorite. The guava wasn't very forward but, something about the drink wasn't balanced and no specific flavor stood out. I will be back!

Drinks with a variety of fruits and liquors making the flavor unique and impossible to ever copy. These bartenders are amazing and professional. The food has an authentic flavor mixed with spices that includes several ingredients.

Came here for a girls night dinner a couple months ago and forgot to write a review so here it is. Ambiance is a 10/10 and so is the service. The food was quite tasty as well. We wanted to try their espresso martinis and we weren't disappointed. My friend got a regular one while I tried their tiramisu inspired one... wow. Definitely recommend!!

I stopped in for the first time as I've heard great things about Otto's. We didn't have much time so just grabbed a drink outside. We ordered a Mai tai, a mojito and two others I can't remember from the bar cart outside the restaurant. Everything was so yummy- though I would have loved to see some garnish (some mint) for the mojito. The bartender was so nice and got my order in before he closed. I'll have to return earlier to try some food and another specialty cocktail.

Went on a Wednesday to celebrate a life event. Got there early but they seated us right away. Our server came over right away and got our drink order. Two very good old fashions. Started with the fish dip and some oysters. Fish dip is actually a pretty bigger portion. Almost as big as the flavors. Very good and they brought some extra bread wedges as we needed them. The oysters were very good. Baked in a chile lime butter sauce. We had the skirt steak (another big portion) and it was very flavorful. Just the right amount of char complimenting the preparation. Black beans, rice and tostones finished off the presentation. The Mariscado was delicious. Plenty of mussels. clams and shrimp. The fish portion was also just about right. I will say the chorizo gets kinda lost in the dish. Good once I discovered the bits in the bottom but really not adding much to the dish. The broth was very good and I took the leftovers home. We finished off the night with an attempt to eat the Toasted Coconut Rum Cake. They had a nice flambe presentation and we couldn't finish it. It was very good the next day as well. Staff was attentive from the server to the expeditor. All made sure we had a memorable experience.

    The best Cafe Con Leche!

It was our first time at Otto's High Dive as we celebrated our 26th anniversary with our family with some incredible cocktails! What a gorgeous restaurant! Our server was wonderful about explaining the cocktails on the menu. I started off with the delicious Banana Coffee and also really enjoyed the amazing bread service, and the absolutely best Cafe Con Leche. We tried so many beautiful and interesting cocktails that I can't even remember all the names of them unfortunately. We will definitely be back to try brunch and dinner at this hidden gem.

The ambiance and feel of the bar is very "sultry" and "intimate." The mood lighting, dark paneling/interiors paired with the bar itself being lit to be the center of attention, lends itself to the secretiveness and LURE that a modernized speakeasy would provide. I truly enjoy stepping foot into this little hidden, but NOT so hidden, gem (which can be accessed from the interior to Talay). Service can be slow at times - especially when they are busy. However, the staff is usually always gracious, helpful, and willing to serve. The few great mixologists I've met there have also been very willing to break down how they make their drinks and really give us a glimpse into their world. So, I'm appreciative of that. That is not something that you can always expect at bars. As for the drinks (and food I'll glaze over), I am usually not left disappointed. I appreciate that seasonally they play with their drink menu and introduce new cocktails. I also love a handful of their signature drinks on the menu. This may be the only bar I've had a drink with Aperol in it that I actually ENJOYED (and not tolerated). The pricing can get high depending on what you order, but for the area and the going rate of a night out, they hold their own. Definitely don't pop into Noir if you are looking for an AFFORDABLE cocktail experience because the tab will creep up on you. The food is OKAY. They share a kitchen with Talay and offer some items not on the Talay menu - which is nice. However, I rarely eat when I visit, so the few times I have, it's been okay. Nothing to truly brag home about. I am happy, though, that they did start offering food because in the very beginning (when they first opened), that was not an option. Anyways, Noir Bar is GREAT (to me)! I will keep coming here and recommending it to others. It's also great for a date night or night out with your friends. It's in a decent location - but please take heed of parking in this area, as it can be challenging to find FREE street parking. However, there is parking available all around and in various garages nearby.

Real good vibes. Orlando obviously has no shortage of places to eat, drink, and gather, but Alfie's belongs to that rare category of venues that feel equally at home in a major metropolis. It's the kind of spot that would fit seamlessly into Los Angeles's best neighborhoods: think Gold Line in Highland Park or the Vinyl Room at the Hollywood Palladium. Not because they're carbon copies, but because they share that intangible quality of genuine discovery and cultural curiosity. The crowd ( age range 25 - 35 mostly ) was genuinely engaged with one another. People were actually talking, actually present, not hunched over their phones. That alone felt invigorating. There was an undeniable spark in the room. Alfie's wasn't chasing trends; it was simply allowing them to emerge naturally. What impressed me most was how they brought it all together .. Retro stereo equipment and vinyl players from the 50s mixed with a bar area that's super sleek and modern. Conversations, music, the lounge itself .... all came together in a way that felt alive and IN THE MOMENT. When my LA friends visit, Alfie's is on the list. But he was very impatient. Let me add that there was not a single person in the entire place. NO ONE. Let me also add that almost our entire group is almost 40. So we're obv not underage. With the way he approached us and was completely impatient, we were a little turned off and left. Which lost them money on our entire group. He followed us out the door as we left. We looked over the happy hour menu (good all day on Monday nights and Tuesday through Friday 5-7pm). We ask Mel about the "Bartender's Choice" selection under happy hour drinks. She said the bartender will mix a drink of their preference. The customer cannot choose the alcohol or any mixers as the bartender makes the decisions all by him or herself. Mel asked if we had any allergies or any other issues that might affect the drinks the bartender would like to make. We said we did not and we decided to take on this "choice" experience. Serena was the bartender of the evening and she did an amazing job. She mixed up various concoctions for us throughout the night (we ordered a second round after the first one) and we enjoyed every drink she prepared. The presentation of the drinks were also well done. Serena's cocktails consisted of bourbon, rum, and various ingredients which could include bitters, lemon, agave or other cocktail mixers. She was the bartender extraordinaire of the evening. For food, we ordered the half dozen chicken wings (2 orders since they were so good) and the pizza empanadas to start. The two empanadas had mozzarella cheese stuffed inside and were served with a warm marinara. From the main menu, we ordered the Faroe Island Salmon, which was served on a bad of risotto and tomato butter, with capers. The portion of the salmon was somewhat small for the price of $28, but it and the risotto were cooked perfectly. We ended the night with their signature drink, "Death in the Afternoon" which contains absinthe and is one of my favorite drinks here in Orlando. It was another five star experience and my friend found a new restaurant she now loves. All in all, a great night thanks to the attentiveness and easy-going attitude of Mel, our server, and the exceptional cocktails from the bartender, Serena. Thank you both for a job very well done!
