Magical Dining at Delaney's Tavern felt a little like one of those nights in a movie where everything is warm, slightly indulgent, and somehow the ravioli becomes a main character. The cocktails were beautiful in that almost-too-pretty-to-drink kind of way, except obviously I drank them. The food was rich, comforting, and the kind of good that makes you briefly stop talking, which for me is saying a lot. And then there was the truffle ravioli. I'm not saying I've thought about it an unreasonable amount since dinner, but I'm also not not saying that. Our server Colin was attentive, knowledgeable, and somehow made the whole evening feel even more special without ever hovering, which is truly an art form in itself. Magical Dining is such a lovely excuse to try some of Orlando's best restaurants while supporting local charities, but Delaney's is one of those places I'd come back to even without the excuse. The inside is really decorated nicely, and I understand the owners were going for a "cheers" style neighborhood bar. I opted for the grilled ham and cheese on focaccia bread, and it was really good. Food was great, we came for brunch, I was craving crab and it's frequently harder to find all you can eat snow crab. That was the draw, but come to find out the rest of the menu was also great. The prosciutto toast was unique, bacon was cooked perfectly, more important the service was excellent, despite them being short staffed (like every other restaurant these days) they were still attentive and nice. I had the bolognese and my partner had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. I thought the flavor of the pasta was great but the meatballs were a little dry. The chicken sandwich and potato wedges were delish. Highly suggest the Delaney marg! Mango was my favorite. I removed one star because of accessibility. In our reservations we noted that my partner has limited mobility. The hostess saw our reservation and walked us to the other end of the restaurant. The bartenders at The Drake in downtown Orlando told me I had to try this spot. It's amazing how bartenders rarely miss on spots with great food and drinks. Happy Hour is every day from 3-6pm and 8:30pm-close. I got here like 10 minutes before 6 so I put in a bunch of items. $12 burrata was excellent. I love the pesto, and the flavor overall. The best item of the night. Up next, the $10 Nasvhille hot wings. You get 6 wings. These were good too. Not Hattricks in Tampa good, but certainly up there on the rankings. Then, $10 brussels sprouts. Not crispy or charred enough for me, but they were still good. For drinks, I tried the $11 Delaney's Rita Spicy. Ooooohweee delicious! I also tried a $17 smoke em if you got em. This wasn't one of my favorite mezcals I've ever had. It was actually hard to taste the mezcal. I wouldn't order this one again. Tons of seats at the bar. Lots of sports on the TV's. It was absolutely packed on a Friday at 6pm. I didn't have any issues parking in the parking garage located behind the restaurant. Parking was free. Stopped here for lunch since it was close by to our hotel and we were super hungry. The interior was nice and the hostess and server were all very friendly. The menu had a solid variety. I went with the rib eye sandwich medium rare and it was definitely super rare and very chewy. I was so hungry that I didn't want to wait for a remake. The flavor was solid. It was just a hard sandwich to get through. The fries that came with it were great! This was a fun adventure! We came here to celebrate a friend's birthday and had the best time! Firstly, there is a parking garage very close to the restaurant and they do validate parking there. They had a happy hour (on a Sunday!) from 3pm-6pm. We were greeted by a very nice hostess who sat us in a cozy booth. I love the decor and ambiance here. We opted for some small plates and appetizers. All were very filling and so good. The hot honey on the crispy brussels was tasty! I always want a super crispy brussel and it was almost there for me. The burrata had a tomato jam that was sooo good with a hint of cinnamon. The bang bang shrimp and the beef wellington bites were also good. So was the hummus plate. The meatballs were also very very good and a little spicy which I was not mad about. Oh! The strawberry matcha creme brulee was good...but I didn't taste the strawberry in it too much. I had the Bee's Knees which I normally love. I liked it but it was a little too gin forward for me. Still so good and drank it all though! Since I wasn't sure if it was required to do brunch I contact them and they were very accommodating and Nate was super helpful in helping with reservation! Also came by when we arrived to say Hi. Inside the place is super cute and cozy. We sat by the bar. I had an espresso martini and it was delicious! As for food we only had the burrata which was very good and refreshing. Also has the hot honey slider from the brunch menu which that I must while it was good it was a fail as it was $7 for just one bite size chicken slider. So now I know for the next time. Wife and I are always looking for new and different and we love a Sunday Brunch. She happen to find out about this place and as we always say, it's a meal. We'll, what a meal!! The hostess got us a nice table by the buffet so my wife didn't have to walk too far. Our server Amir is amazing, to handle multiple table and still made us feel like we were his only table. Solid spot to stop for a quick bite! Me and some coworkers were staying at a hotel nearby, and decided to walk over to Delaney's on a Tuesday afternoon for some post-traveling lunch. The restaurant was surprisingly busy for the time of day, but I guess that just proves this is a popular neighborhood spot! Their menu features a little bit of everything, and it all sounded pretty good! I ended up ordering the Tavern Burger with a side salad. The salad came out first - the lettuce was fresh and it was dressed well. My burger was cooked to my liking, and it hit the spot after a morning of navigating airports. I also have to shout out the Diet Coke I ordered to kick off my meal ... it was crispy and refreshing with plenty of syrup. The word "tavern" is honestly a bit of a misnomer here because while the atmosphere feels welcoming and accessible, the food is far more crafted and clever than that name suggests. You might walk in expecting elevated pub fare and instead find yourself eating dishes that belong in a much more serious culinary conversation. Ronnald ordered the pan roasted sea bass and I had a bite of it, and I am not exaggerating when I say it was one of the tastiest fish dishes I have had in a very long time. The seasoning alone was out of this world, layered and balanced in a way that made you stop mid chew just to process what was happening. It was bright, savory, and perfectly executed, and between the two of us he absolutely chose the best main on the menu, hands down. I ordered the 8 oz barrel cut grilled filet, which was beautifully prepared and exactly what you want when you order a filet, but even I had to admit that the sea bass stole the spotlight that night. If that dish is any indication of the standard coming out of that kitchen, I have every reason to believe the rest of the menu is just as thoughtful and impressive. We were there enjoying this meal before heading to the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts to see Swan Lake, and it set the tone for the entire evening. It was one of those nights where everything aligns, starting with a genuinely gourmet dining experience and rolling seamlessly into an unforgettable performance. This is a good vibe, appropriate for a hotel restaurant, and has good proximity to the hospital nextdoor if you find yourself needing a meal there. I will say I think I would've liked this better for dinner than lunch. The menu has everything. I find myself rarely thinking highly of restaurants that can 'do it all.' Nobody can ever really do it all, can we? I ordered a flatbread, but they had all sorts of sandwiches, pad thai, italian, burgers, etc. Too many options. I had the burrata and roasted mushroom flatbread, which was light on the roasted mushroom, heavy on a balsamic glaze, and nonexistent on the burrata. (I love burrata). Great dinning experience. Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday and it just happened to be the first day of Magical Dining. For $40 we were able to eat a delicious 3 course meal. My starter was the crispy Brussels. I am not usually a big fan of Brussels sprouts but our waitress assured me that theirs was good. She was right. I think the combination of truffle goat cheese will chili honey made this dish very tasty. My second course was the NY strip with truffle mac n cheese. The steak was cooked perfectly although my cut had a bit too much fat for my liking. My dessert was the bread pudding with hazelnut gelato which to me was the winner of the night. My friend ordered poke tuna tostones and I was able to try some of it and I really liked the flavor. She had the black truffle ravioli with truffle caviar and she said it was really delicious. Came for my birthday brunch! The Taverna has a great esthetic atmosphere and all the staff that we crossed path with was so warm welcoming. Even met a manager that was off that day but enjoying brunch with his family. Brunch was $49 per person. They have bottomless mimosa for $20 but we didn't opt to it. They also just started their new menu!! Their brunch is buffet style with a la carte included. From a la carte, we tried hot honey chicken slider, French toast, fruit cup, omelet and pasta! Buffet had Jalapeno cornbread, shrimp and grits, bacon, cypress salad, waffles, sliced meat, ceviche, snow crabs, ready to eat shrimp and pastries with chocolate fountain. Finally came to check out Delanys Tavern, came for bite 30, food and athmosphere are exceptional. Modern gastropub with modern and upscale vibes, perfect for any occasion. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Food was amazing, we started with the bang bang shrimp, burrata and mama becky meatballs for appetizers. My favorite was the burrata that came with arugula pesto, pepper tomatoe and aged balsamic with some bread on the side and the bang bang shrimp was so delicious crisp on the outside and the garlic almond crunch adds an irresistible nutty texture. For second course i got the docs smash burger with potatoes wedges and for dessert we got the brownie, carrot cake and and peach cobbler. My favorite was the brownie, very rich, dense on the inside with a slight crisp on the edge, paired with chocolate ice cream and chocolate drizzled. My favorite of all was my cocktail the raspberry key lime pie martini so refreshing and smooth. Would come again to have another raspberry martini. Restaurant is located in a plaza next to Delaney's hotel, with inside and outside seating. They have a garage parking, parking is validated as well, or they have street parking. What an incredible dining experience at Delany's Tavern! From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and professional, and the ambiance was the perfect blend of elegant and welcoming. We started with the She Crab Soup, which was rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. I then ordered the Dirty Rice Entrée, and wow--what an explosion of flavors! It reminded me of a New Orleans-style paella, loaded with perfectly seasoned dirty rice, andouille sausage, shrimp, and an incredible depth of flavor in every bite. My husband began with the French Vegetable Soup, which he described as magnificent, followed by the Short Rib Sliders, which were tender, flavorful, and expertly prepared. For dessert, we indulged in the Peach Cobbler à la Mode, topped with vanilla bean ice cream. It was decadent, comforting, and the perfect ending to the meal. To top it all off, we enjoyed a frothy cappuccino served with a rock candy sugar stick--a beautiful finishing touch. The food, presentation, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional. Came by on a Saturday night my second visit here. The place wasn't too busy, so it seemed like a slower evening. We started with two cocktails: an espresso martini and a Penicillin. Unfortunately, the martini had to be sent back it was very watery and didn't taste right, especially for the price. The Penicillin was okay but nothing memorable. I've definitely had better versions elsewhere. For food, we tried the crab soup and the highly recommended meatballs. The soup had decent flavor, though my friend did find a small piece of shell. The meatballs were a disappointment odd texture with some chewy, hard bits that reminded me of the unpleasant surprises you sometimes get in processed chicken patty's . Definitely not something I'd order again. Now for the highlight: the smash burger (we swapped American cheese for smoked Gouda. Absolutely incredible. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly possibly one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. I'd come back just for that. Service was good our server was friendly and attentive.
