I can't speak for the bowling, but I've now had brunch, lunch and dinner at Primrose Lanes Restaurant and I've truly enjoyed the food, drinks, and service every time. Maybe we've just gotten lucky lucky by avoiding peak hours, but we've been able to be seated immediately each time as well. I'll agree that the menu is on the pricier side, but the quality is worth it in my opinion. Yes, even the infamous $15 hot dog that everyone lost their dang minds over. I tried it for myself and it is very good, made in-house, and you can rest easy knowing it is now served with fries. The O.K.C. smashburger is also amazing! Other dishes to note are the pickle dip, the 'funyun' fried onions, and the hashbrown bites with smoked trout caviar. They did a great job renovating the space and still preserving some of the history of the iconic Colonial Lanes. In addition to the main restaurant and bar, there is another bar & lounge area with large TV screens for viewing sporting events, etc. and then of course, the bowling lanes which I have not tried yet. I really enjoy this as a good happy hour option for some appetizers and drinks with friends!

Stopped in for a drink and some food on a Thursday evening. When we arrived we were told the lanes were full and reserved for a while. It was not our intention to bowl that night so it didn't bother us, but seems like the lanes are popular so if you want to bowl I'd recommend making a reservation. We were seated quickly at a larger table and greeted by our server. We found out it was her first day on the job, but she did a great job and was very friendly. We decided to share some of the appetizers. We did the pickle dip without the hot sauce and it came with malt vinegar chips. The chips were a great balance of salt and vinegar to go with the dip. I really liked the dip. It was a good blend of dill and pickle. We also did the chicken tenders (tendies'). They were a little over fried for our preference, but the chicken inside was still moist and flavorful and not too dry. The sha' bang sauce was too spicy for me, but the ranch was delicious. All the sauces are made in house. Of course we had to try the hot dog as well. It was really good and flavorful. We asked for the mustard and relish on the side since I typically don't prefer any toppings on my dogs and prefer to take the flavors. This was a good flavor and cooked well on a toasted bun. We added the fries as well (which are like a shoestring style). I also tried the Purple Southside. It was really good and unique in the look, but light and refreshing. It did come with a lot of ice in the glass. I found out they mix the cocktails to measure accordingly and then pour over the ice. I was fine with that, but it did give the appearance of a smaller cocktail due to an overflowing cup of ice with my drink. The server only had our table while we were there so she was attentive, but didn't come by too often. It was not too busy, but we were there earlier in the evening.

I walked in with a small group and spent some time here, then walked out. I was disappointed as there was quite a bit of hype about this place on social media. I stopped by to inquire about throwing a group event here. I decided not to. This bowling alley took over Colonial Lanes (an old bowling alley) made it more aesthetic and trendy, and opened up. Ok, so it's a cool vibe. It seems like a good time! There were a lot of people there...so people are really excited to be at a new place, espcially due to all the buzz about it. However... This is incredibly expensive for what it is. It's taking the hipster trend and charging a lot. While the decor is nice, I want to be mindful of peoples' budgets, some of whom do not know each other. I will be picking another place for a social outing. Chicken tenders are called "Chicken Tendies" on the menu, and they are $16 (no fries included). A specialty coffee drink can cost $8. It's $5.50 for a latte. It is very expensive to not only bowl but also to eat or drink. A hot dog is $15 and a hot dog and fries is $20. It is $35 for pastrami and fries. I ordered a side of fries which were fine and needed to be cooked a little more, but the portion was decent enough to share with someone. These are NYC-level prices without...NYC. Floridians aren't used to this (nor do we make as much), so only time will tell us how this business does. Almost all of the new establishments in Orlando are charging a ton, it's discouraging to even be excited about a new place anymore. it is very heartbreaking to see "average" folks won't be able to do things outside of their home due to these types of businesses.

Love the old school feel of this place from the moment you walk in. Marianne, our server, was very friendly and attentive. Great service. I had the okc smash burger, delicious cooked to perfection. They offer a full service bar, and they have a 2 for $20 martini special a must try. Outside tables have jenga games and others to enjoy. You can dine and bowl or just dine in and enjoy the bar. They also offer a shop to take home memobilias. Plenty of parking onsite

Arrived at 6:30 on a Saturday and had a 20 minute wait, but was no issue because our party of 4 was able to snag drinks at the bar. Our party ordered the watermelon margarita (rave reviews), the lemongrass mule (the ginger beer was so good it would be delicious on its own as well), and the purple southside (flavors balanced out the gin well, making it a really refreshing but not overly sweet satisfying summer drink). We were brought to our table in under the originally promised 20 minutes and were served by Fallon. She was super attentive and very friendly. Five stars on the service! The group ordered two orders of the smoked blt with a a side of fries and two orders of the smash burger. Both mains were great and very filling. One side of fries is enough for two people. The atmosphere was great - props to the interior design on respecting the retro of the original bowling alley while updating it to make it feel super hip. The only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is for the pricing - while the drinks and food were delicious, the price point was high for this elevated (highly) bar food.

This is unbelievable. This has so much to offer. Elevated breakfast with the bright and complex flavors of the caper lemon toast. Omg the buffalo chicken tenders- I haven't had anything like it in Orlando. Orangey, citrusy perfectly fried tendies. To accompany my breakfast, one of the best lattes I have had, with amaretto flavor. It is a cozy place to get work done but the most impressive charateristic this place has is its exceptional service. I am a Robinson fan, this definetely carries the passion in the craft and service. Special shout out to Valerie who was so passionate about the menu and anticipated my pallate so perfectly! Everyone is so gregarious and passionate. Cant wait to play on the bowling ally side.

The atmosphere is themed, they have a space for live music, and I love the different seating options (bar, high tops, tables, and booths). As a tradition, we always order a handful of things to try at a new place. For appetizers, we ordered the Bangin' Shrimp and the Pulled Pork Tacos - these were IMMEDIATE 10/10s Genuinely still dreaming of both of these. For the entree, I ordered a Shroom n Swiss - it was cooked so well, but I was surprised that the mushroom was the size of the patty versus smaller ones. The service was great, very attentive and quick!

Food was good, Manhattan was meh, 2 stars, service sucked.

Service was good though. I must have ordered the wrong things this time, and I was there for happy hour. The crab rangoon squash blossom was kind of fishy. I was expecting something that looked like or was housed in a squash blossom, but it was a fried ball of gloppy crab filling. I also ordered the jalapeño popper deviled eggs. It was a stunner, but this is not the app for you if you're not all about the yolk. It was yolk on yolk on yolk. I wanted something to brighten it up, like a pickled veggie or pickled onions maybe. I've had better taste experiences at The Monroe before, but this wasn't one of them, unfortunately.

The atmosphere was lively and fun...definitely a great spot if you're looking for upbeat brunch energy. We started with the deviled eggs, and those did not disappoint. They were flavorful, well-balanced, and probably the highlight of our meal. For entrées, my husband ordered the brunch burger. The menu didn't list bacon, and even after our server double-checked to confirm it wouldn't come with bacon, the burger still came out topped with it. While mistakes happen, it was frustrating having to wait for the order to be remade while the rest of the table was already eating. I ordered the Fruity Pebbles chicken and waffles for my daughter. It was okay, but definitely on the sweeter side. The chicken itself was coated in cereal and then topped with syrup, which made the whole dish very sweet overall -- just a bit underwhelming for us. On a positive note, the kids' portions were great. The mac and cheese and chicken tenders were both solid and generously portioned. Overall, the food was a bit underwhelming for the price point, but I'd probably give it another try...if only for the Maui Mimosa. That drink alone might bring us back.

I wish I knew his name, but I loved his service. The wine and the espresso martini were really good. My girlfriend, especially like the espresso martini and its blend of liquor with the tartness. In terms of the food, it was all really wonderful. The chicken and dumplings came with this delicious sauce that I couldn't get enough off. The potato dumplings were alright, but the seasoning and mix of the sauce was perfect for the chicken. The serving size was good as well and there was barely any bone to interrupt eating it. My girlfriend said that the steak was cooked perfectly medium as they asked. The steak sauce paired really well, and they had enough for leftovers, and enjoyed it even more the day after. The Mac & cheese was alright, we just wish there had been more of a crunch to the cheese. However, we both really liked the shape of the pasta as we don't really see those as often. Also not depicted here, but we got the cocktail shrimp. My girlfriend loved this one too, specifically noting how large and cold the shrimps were. The cocktail sauce was delicious and had a nice kick to it, and definitely squeeze the lemon that comes with it on the shrimp. Since it was an anniversary, they surprised us with complimentary dessert that was phenomenal. My girlfriend doesn't really like cheesecake or coconut, but somehow loved the dessert. It's an off menu item but it blends coconut, cheesecake, and a brownie.

What made it even more of an experience was the awesome waiter (Merlin) we had. He went above and beyond to take care of us. Started with the crab dip and little toasts and it was great, high quality crab (not fishy) and cheesy! Would highly recommend. He recommended the special for the day which I ordered and holy crap, it was amazing. Huge grouper cooked to perfection with a light curry and creamy corn sauce that had just the right heat. The only spot open was at 4:30 pm, so we made the reservation and showed up, valet parking and came in. We were sat immediately. The hostess seemed stressful, without any smiles, she took away 2 out 4 silverware and plate sets on our table for a party of 3. 12 minutes went by. The crowded dining room had 2 servers. A booth of 6 next to us were waiting for their drinks patiently. I finally got up and let the hostess know that nobody stopped by. She said someone would be with us soon. About 4.minutes later, a lady stopped, said sorry, and took our drink orders, a Pineapple Sugar, a Macha Mojito, and a glass of Napa Valley Chardonnay. She also brought us 3 glasses of water. More servers started coming. Finally, Mark introduced himself, took our food orders. The food was delicious. We shared the Steamed Clams and Brie and Petal Honey. They were so good that we had to ask Mark fir extra crispy bread slides. For entrees, my wife had the Brussel Salad with Anchovy, and she loved it. My son had the Pork Chop while I tried the Crab Stuffed Salson. Excellent food and temperature. We were quite full for desserts, but Mark insisted, so we decided to order a Humingbird Cake and was informed that ithere was no more. Then we took the today's special, which was a strawberry pudding. It took 15 minutes to get the dessert with 3 spoons because, according yo Mark, they made a new patch. In my own opinion, this operation was not well prepared for a such busy Saturday on one of the busiest events. We saw the manager being the server assistant delivering food for his servers, while he was super friendly, and we and the servers appreciated him, he should have led his crew. For lack of leadership, I took away one star though Nark saved our dining experience. We plan to be back another time not during the chaotic holidays to see the real beauty of The Pinery.
