I have been coming here for about 5 years or so, since they first opened. They have always given me great service and the food has always been great. They have a great Taco Tuesday and the Half off Wine Wednesday is definitely my favorite. There's a large beer and wine list to go through, not to mention all of their specialty drinks. Whenever I have a friend visit, this is origami one of the first places I take them. Not to mention the bartenders are great at what they do. Good Vibes, But a Few Misses We recently visited American Social for brunch and had a mixed experience. The atmosphere was lively and fun...definitely a great spot if you're looking for upbeat brunch energy. We started with the deviled eggs, and those did not disappoint. They were flavorful, well-balanced, and probably the highlight of our meal. For entrées, my husband ordered the brunch burger. The menu didn't list bacon, and even after our server double-checked to confirm it wouldn't come with bacon, the burger still came out topped with it. While mistakes happen, it was frustrating having to wait for the order to be remade while the rest of the table was already eating. I ordered the Fruity Pebbles chicken and waffles for my daughter. It was okay, but definitely on the sweeter side. The chicken itself was coated in cereal and then topped with syrup, which made the whole dish very sweet overall -- just a bit underwhelming for us. On a positive note, the kids' portions were great. The mac and cheese and chicken tenders were both solid and generously portioned. Overall, the food was a bit underwhelming for the price point, but I'd probably give it another try...if only for the Maui Mimosa. That drink alone might bring us back. read more

Was debating on going here or Rocco's tacos and tequila and I wish I would've went there instead of here. I came here because the traffic was bad on sand lake. We got seated right away but we're not greeted by our server until 15mins after. By the time she came by we were ready to order food and drinks nor did she apologize for the wait or explain that she was super busy, we just assumed she was. The stop was very short too. Food came about 30 mins later (yes I tracked the time because I was annoyed at this point) and the server didn't stop by until 10 minutes after the food was dropped off. 40 mins after taking our order. We needed condiments, water, and wanted more chips for the guac that was amazing but very skimpy on the chips. I ordered the Brunch burger was ok, egg was over cooked and sloppily put together, my mother enjoyed her smash burger and said it was amazing and my wife said her omelette was ok. In short, I like this place for its food quality and have had excellent experiences in the past. Today however, was not the case. The guac and the DJ playing music were the highlight of the visit. I forgot the servers name but she was only attentive and apologetic once it was time to prepare the check for us. Left a sour taste in my mouth and made me regret stopping here for overpriced food that didn't meet my expectations and poor service. It's been almost over a year since I've last been here and I'm pretty sure I won't be returning back anytime soon. read more

The restaurant got busy just before our arrival, which was a little wait before being helped. Floor manager Angela came over to check on us and offered to buy us an appetizer for the inconvenience, which was not expected but very kind. We ended up having the goat cheese croquettes, whixh were nice. Our server, Jules, was very upbeat and detailed and a pleasure to have. The Mahi sliders were soooo good....I added onion, blue cheese crumble, and cilantro lime sauce to them, which enhanced the flavor. The restaurant is located in a shopping plaza that iffers plenty of parkonf parking. The restaurant itself has a nice inside dining area surrounded by a middle bar, and has two private areas that can host a private event, both of which were occupied at the time. A girls dream when it comes to Sports Bars. Long story short. We just moved to Orlando. We needed a new spot to watch football on Sunday's. I went on Yelp and found this place- it checks off all of my boxes: 1. It's NOT a dive bar. 2. Great food 3. Happy Hour Specials The place is modern and new, and I love the whole vibe. It has upscale sports bar vibes. Great bathroom too! The food is excellent and on Sundays they have a Happy Hour menu! We ordered the 4:15pm games are the sweet spot because Happy Hour goes from 4pm-7pm. Basically, the whole time your here- it's Happy Hour! We ordered the Hot Honey Pepperoni and it was phenomenal. We were sat immediately after walking in and were pleasantly surprised to learn it was Happy Hour! The atmosphere was upbeat and welcoming, which set a great tone for the evening. Although a few menu items we hoped to try were unavailable, the food we did order was fresh and flavorful. We shared 2 Hamburger Tacos, 2 Shrimp Tacos, deviled eggs, and the Spinach & Artichoke dip. I've had great experiences at American Social in the past, which is why this visit was so disappointing. During an event this weekend, the handling of ID checks and guest interaction felt unnecessarily harsh and unprofessional. Several guests with valid 21+ IDs were subjected to uncomfortable verification tactics, and the overall tone from staff escalated situations instead of resolving them. In particular, staff members identified as Brooke and Amber were unwilling to work with guests or offer any kind of second chance or reasonable resolution. Even when guests calmly tried to explain situations and apologize on behalf of others, the response felt dismissive, and communication was unprofessional, including repeated use of informal and demeaning language like "babe." Rather than de-escalating or finding solutions, guests were removed from the venue, even after paying for entry and food, with no effort made to accommodate or resolve the situation. This experience felt very different from what I expect from the brand, and unfortunately left a very negative impression. I would recommend other locations instead. A refund is obviously deserved in this matter and it is absolutely disgusting if it doesn't happen and unfair, and if I were the owners, I would really question who I have as a face of this specific establishment location read more

We were visiting Orlando and looking for a place with good music and food. Well we found one of those at this place and it wasn't the food. This place has a nice ambiance. There is a huge bar in the center of the restaurant that takes up the majority of the space. They also have an outdoor patio and bar as well. It seemed like most people were there to watch sports. The staff were extremely helpful as well. We asked for suggestions before ordering and went with some staff recommendations however neither of us were satisfied with our meal. My favorite area is their patio area but since it was chilly, we were seated indoors. Our waiter was amazing and super sweet. The DJ was jamming, so that was a nice touch. The food was just a okay. While it came promptly, it was just on the blander side of things. I wanted the food to have a bit more razzle and bit more dazzle. Nonetheless, it was filling. The bottomless brunch was great. It's quite hard to mess up a mimosa. So, I enjoyed that and their bottomless mimosa special was reasonable in price ($25.00 to be exact). Overall, it was an average brunch experience. I did enjoy the staff coming out with a "birthday" song, sign and shot for the birthday girl! So, that was really cute!! I will say this though, I enjoy coming on calmer days and sitting at the bar on their patio area. While their food isn't anything to brag about, they do a great job on drinks! This is definitely an elevated bar and grill but a casual feel with its food. The vibes inside were nice as the music was electic and dance style while also getting to watch the game on tv. My two drinks were delicious but can't remember what they were called. My partner got the this tiki style margarita and that one is burned in my brain, so very sweet and flavors mixed well. I got the truffle steak melt and replaced the steak with a beyond burger. This was really good with the cheese, I just wanted a casual meal and this did it. They had an outdoor area as well but the night we went, there was a private event but it also has a bar. First time coming here for brunch won't be my last. It was a really relaxed vibe and delicious food. We started with the donuts. They were filled with a delicious cream, and then served with a raspberry sauce and a peanut butter sauce. Eaten all together it was a delicious peanut butter and jelly dessert. They were super rich though so I only ate a few. My friend and I each got a benedict (the smoked salmon and the brisket) so we could share. Best decision! It was fun getting to have all the different flavors. Each one was unique and delicious in its own way, but if I had to choose a favorite, it would be the brisket one because that brisket was pull- apart-tender and just so full of flavor! I also loved the fact that the benedicts were served with a side salad. My own disappointment was with the unlimited mimosas. The price for them was great! But they were not good. The juice tasted very artificial, and the Prosecco they used was flat and flavorless. I did not like them at all. I'll stick with wine or a cocktail next time. Service was fantastic! Ask for Rachel. Always have an amazing time at this spot! It's my go to when I want to get together with friends since they have larger tables and a great vibe! We just went for my boyfriend's birthday this weekend and had such a great time! Our server was so nice and accommodating.
