The Butterfly burger with truffle fries.

How does party vibes, amazing cocktails, incredible food, and top-notch service sound? That's exactly what you'll find at Helena Modern Riviera. It's the perfect spot to celebrate any occasion. The Lemon Drop Martini is a must--be sure to try the edible buzz button flower that comes with it. It's a very interesting and fun experience. The Spritz is also a great choice. Start your meal with the Mushrooms Sicilian Arancini served with their homemade aioli--absolutely delicious. For your main course, you can't go wrong with the prime skirt steak. Their homemade chimichurri is out of this world, and it pairs perfectly with Monaco rice and seasonal veggies. Also, try their take on an American classic: "The Butterfly Burger" with truffle fries. It would not disappoint.

First, let me say this is probably one of the most beautiful restaurants I've been in for a long time. It's quite stunning. The hostess told me that they actually change the hanging decor for the different seasons. So for instance, right now it's spring so there's flowers and plants everywhere. Christmas will be Christmas decorations and so forth. The food is delicious and high-quality. The staff is really nice. And just what a beautiful backdrop for any photo you want to do for social media. I recommend coming to this place. We will definitely be back to try out more of the menu. They had a lot of seafood and entrée options that I did not get a chance to try.

The service was excellent. We had the brunch board for two, which is fabulous! It comes with four eggs to order. There aren't too many other brunch items besides the brunch board. We had a carmel latte, coffee, and a couple of cocktails. The cocktails are beautiful and delicious. They had a DJ and strobe lights. The strobe lights were blinding us. There was a fairy you could take a picture with too. If you prefer an angel wings picture, they have that by the bathrooms. There are many tourists at this location.

Italian Daydream but with a lavender sprig

WOW! One of the best dining out experiences I've had in a long time. The arancini was yummy and we loved the house aioli (I hate mushrooms but got talked into trying these and they were still so yummy!) The potato appetizer bites were my favorite, so cheesy and perfect dipped in the marinara. I got the Pistachio Pesto Gnocchi for an entree and it was the perfect portion, perfect blend of creaminess without being too rich. I tried my friend's broccoli Rabe and it was so giant, tender, and delicious dipped in the pesto sauce - wish the gnocchi dish came with some! This was one of the BEST lavender cocktails I've had, and I've been trying a lot lately. The Italian Daydream truly is a *dream* and came with a pretty lavender sprig the 2nd time I ordered it. It has a frothy top layer and is slightly sweet without being too cloying, a little fruity, a little herbal, but truly an even blend of all components. I tried my friend's Lemon Drop cocktail and the sugar rim was a nice touch, it was an amazing creamy sweet mixture but again not over the top. Our server was so friendly and recommended a great "mystery app" for my table when we couldn't decide. We did have to ask a few times for water refills, but it was a busy gorgeous night. We enjoyed the outer patio area, and it wasn't too cold or too loud. The occasional pass by of the little train was a whimsical touch, and the decor was modern and trendy (the car is a great photo op on the way in!) I truly loved everything I tried, and I haven't said that about many places in a while. It's a small but mighty menu, and even this picky vegetarian was able to find lots to love and enjoy. Highly recommend! (And the view of the ferris wheel in the background adds a bit of a magical touch to the overall feel)

A chicken and waffle platter with various pastries

Helena Modern Riviera at Icon Park. Went with the family for some brunch. I was impressed with the decor, atmosphere and ambiance of this restaurant. It is a restaurant with an outstanding experience. The service was great. However, I was only discouraged with the server, because I felt she was not being truthful with the size of the plates. It felt as if she was upselling by saying the plates were small. The plates were large in size, so we had leftovers. Nonetheless, all the various food options we had, were very tasteful. The family and I were happy with decision to go eat there for brunch. I highly recommend and just be aware that the plates are not small. Depends on the plate or plater, it can feed two or three people.

Ceviche and hummus were really good, they definitely filled me up and they didn't weigh too heavy on my stomach afterwards. Service was great and the ambiance was relaxing. The whole setting was gorgeous.

The three stars are for the environment. I ate here at Christmas time but have glanced in many other times while visiting icon park and the decor is always gorgeous. It was a fun choice for my friend's birthday! The service was disappointing. The waiter did not come by often and many of us had empty water glasses for quite awhile. One of my friends ordered an appetizer as her entree and it was extremely generous! I ordered the prime skirt steak and found it to be very bland. More importantly, it was undercooked (I ordered medium). Several others were disappointed in the taste of their meals also. One friend also sent back her drink. I would try again, for the ambiance, and hope I visited on an off night. My expectations however would be tempered.

I cannot say enough good things about this establishment. From the moment you enter, it is absolutely stunning. The service is impeccable and the food is delicious. I ordered the viral cocktail purse and it was 100% worth it. It is beautiful inside from floor to ceiling and the music and the weight staff were phenomenal. This is a definite go to place for us.

It was a beautiful restaurant with gorgeous decor. The service was great and the food was delicious. The only complaint was the music was waaaaay too loud. It made it hard to talk to even the people sitting next to me. I understand if it's late at night and they want to create a kind of party vibe. But this was early in the evening, around 6pm. It didn't need to be that loud. They were vey accommodating for our other party (there were 10 of us). And the food was delicious, esp the octopus and the salmon and the lamb shank. It was also a little pricier than we expected but given the setting and ghe quality of food, we didn't mind as much. Also the cocktails were absolutely delicious!

Truffle Fries

Came upon this restaurant during our visit and the lovely decor drew us in. Definitely fit for a photo-op. Waitress seated us fairly quickly without us having reservations. We had the Beef Empanadas, Truffle Fries, Cheese Pizza, Pistachio Pesto Gnocchi, Butterfly Burger and Dijonnaise Chicken. The Mocking Bird and Berry Fresh mocktails were a hit with the kids as well. The truffle fries were crunchy and seasoned well and the chicken was very tender. Would say this was a great overall experience.

Beautiful restaurant; average experience. I went to Helena with friends for brunch. It was crowded, but the waiter was attentive and friendly. For brunch, we had to get up and refill our own glass every time we wanted another mimosa. I was not a fan of this. It's great to not have to wait, but I'm paying gratuity and had to continuously walk through the restaurant. I ordered the hummus and brisket plate. The food was okay; the brisket was overcooked, and hash browns and eggs were standard. The hummus was better than the meal, but nothing stood out for the prices paid. Again, beautiful place to go and take pictures at, but it's not a place I'd return to. However, id recommend someone to maybe try it for dinner. Maybe it'll be better around that time.

Winter in Orlando!

How in the F do you ruin a Pretzel? If you want to find out, head down to iDrive and then to Helena Modern Riviera. This restaurant is a beautifully decorated space but with little substance beyond the delicious cocktails. The espresso martini was excellent and it came with a Lady Finger so I ordered 5 so I could make a hand! Sadly, it was the pastry version. I also had the Bee's Knees which was well crafted and one of the best versions of this cocktail. Similarly, the Havana (a cigar smoked old fashioned) was delicious and smoked table side. The cocktails were all 5 stars for sure... Foodwise, this wasn't great. First, the giant pretzel... OMG it was the absolute worst. It wasn't warm, didn't have any salt. They must be saving all the salt for the brutal Swedish winter. And the fondue was totally NOT dippable... it was basically a clump of cheese in what I would describe as a warmed up version of that water that Burrata from the ol' Publix grocer comes from. So terrible. The pistachio pesto gnocchi was properly named as it was loaded with pistachios. That probably explains the price as pistachios are like the tarnished platinum in the nut world. (and probably explains why Dubai chocolate is priced out of this world). But it lacked real flavor and was just mediocre. The garlic bread was outstanding though, so that's a plus! Service started out great but as the night went on, our waitress visited us less and less. Cocktails started taking longer and longer, water refills were non existent, and when it came time to take care of the finances, she was nowhere to be found. The biggest highlight was the belly dancer, Vanja. I am pretty sure there is only a belly dancer on Saturday evenings starting around 8:30 or so. Don't quote me on that though. She was talented and worth the trip. If you're a fan of 90 Day Fiancé, you may recognize her (as well some others from the show that happened to be dining there that night). They also had "Member" pricing on the menu which was odd. I didn't inquire about a membership here, nor would I want one. But if you come here a lot, it may be worth looking in to. TLDR: Shame on you... Awesome atmosphere and great drinks... you'll need a few to enjoy the food and put up with the service.

Go for the vibes and decor. Skip the food. We came here for the Apres-Ski pop up and was it cute? Yeah! They did a great job with the holiday decor and created memorable photos ops but the food was a huge let down. My party and I (of 4) ordered 9 out of 14 starters. Within minutes of ordering, all of the food came out at the same time even before our non cocktail drinks (Diet Coke and Coke Zero!) Sus..... The food came out border line cold and everything tasted frozen. From the arancini to the meatballs. The meatballs were definitely the frozen ones from the store. The texture was spongy and not good. The tomatoes used for the bruschetta were over mixed and became watery. Almost to the point of mush. I wouldn't recommend eating here. It's a one and done. The highlight of the night was meeting Vanja from 90 day fiancé! Really sweet so tip her since she is the entertainment for the establishment.

However, it is quite fun, when we got there on a Saturday night, they were having a Taylor Swift look alike performance. I absolutely loved it. It turned out it was happening every hour so we were able to watch her perform twice. They also had someone selling jewelry and an artist painting, overall it is such a fun vibe. If you want a standard table, you need to make a reservation, I made a reservation like 15 minutes before and they only had outdoor seating and high tops available. We chose a high top and it was fine. They do have a kids menu so my son was able to order a cheese pizza with a side of fries and the other one ordered a chicken quesadilla with a side of fruit. On the kids menu it says cheese quesadilla but he really wanted chicken, I was surprised the chicken was a bit spicy. He ate a couple bites and then asked for his own cheese pizza after seeing his brothers. All the plates are meant to be shared so they come out whenever they're ready. My older son's cheese pizza came out immediately and then my younger son's chicken quesadilla came out after all our food had been delivered. I think this is what made him want a cheese pizza because he didn't have his own meal for majority of the time we were eating. When we finally ordered his cheese pizza it then took a long time to come out. I'm guessing it's because it's woodfired and his pizza was behind a ton of other pizzas whereas with my older son we must've ordered at a good time. My absolute favorite dish was the marinated cucumbers. It was a light and delicious. It reminds me of what I find at a Japanese restaurant. I also got the butter chicken, it was OK. I didn't find the chicken super tender so I would skip it next time. We also got the maple glazed chicken wings. I found the breading to be overly salty. I ended up taking off all of the breading and my younger son ate a ton of the chicken. I would skip it next time. We got the steak skewers, which were pretty delicious. Again didn't love it so probably would get something else next time. My husband did not like his ribs so he definitely should skip that next time. So overall, the food was OK, but my kids absolutely destroyed their pizza and I love the atmosphere, which is why I'm giving this place four stars. I see that it has great potential. If parking is a problem, I recommend parking at icon park and walking because it's about five minutes away. Our server was super nice, she was a bit slow, but she also had a giant table next to us, which could've contributed to that. I would definitely come back. I enjoyed our experience here.

The menu didn't list bacon, and even after our server double-checked to confirm it wouldn't come with bacon, the burger still came out topped with it. While mistakes happen, it was frustrating having to wait for the order to be remade while the rest of the table was already eating. I ordered the Fruity Pebbles chicken and waffles for my daughter. It was okay, but definitely on the sweeter side. The chicken itself was coated in cereal and then topped with syrup, which made the whole dish very sweet overall -- just a bit underwhelming for us. On a positive note, the kids' portions were great. The mac and cheese and chicken tenders were both solid and generously portioned. Overall, the food was a bit underwhelming for the price point, but I'd probably give it another try...if only for the Maui Mimosa. That drink alone might bring us back.
