I've been to several Yard House locations over the years, and while every restaurant is a little different, the International Drive location in Orlando definitely stands out. I went with my brother and sister-in-law, and the food was excellent. The lemon pepper dry rub wings were absolutely amazing--crispy, flavorful, and seasoned perfectly. They were so good I jokingly wanted to bite my fingers afterward! I also tried the Honey Thai wings, but they just weren't for me because I don't really enjoy spicy food. That's completely a personal preference, though. The edamame was fresh and tasty, and the appetizers we shared were all very good. Even though the restaurant was completely packed, the service was impressive. I expected a long wait, but I was seated almost immediately, and our server kept everything moving smoothly despite how busy it was. The only downside is the parking. There isn't convenient parking directly in front of the restaurant, so you'll need to park in the nearby garage, take the elevator down, and walk over. The good news is that parking on the top floor is free. Along the walk, there were several outdoor vendors selling fresh fruit drinks, roasted corn, sweet treats, and small shopping items, which made the walk a little more enjoyable. Overall, this Yard House delivered great food, efficient service, and a fun atmosphere. If you're visiting International Drive and looking for a great place to eat, I definitely recommend stopping by. I'll absolutely be back! read more

We had already eaten elsewhere and were simply looking for a place to relax, enjoy a few drinks, and have a conversation. There were several places to choose from, but this one seemed like a good fit because it wasn't overly loud, and we wanted to be able to hear each other. We initially sat outside, but we were told they had stopped serving the outdoor seating area, so we moved inside. Rather than wait for a server, we decided to order directly from the bar since it seemed like the faster option. There weren't enough seats at the bar for our group of five, so we grabbed a nearby booth. The bartender was friendly, and our drinks were excellent. Unfortunately, that's where the positive experience ended. Although people were not coming in, but some people were eating, and enjoying drinks throughout the restaurant, it seemed like the staff had started cleaning up for the night. A server came over, and we explained that we were only there for drinks. After we received our drinks from the bar, he returned and told us that we would soon have to get up so he could clean the table. Seriously? I looked around and saw several other tables where some guests were simply sitting, talking, and enjoying their drinks. They weren't eating either. It made us feel as though, because we had only ordered beverages, we weren't as welcome as everyone else. I chose not to let one person's behavior ruin our evening because I'd rather believe that one employee doesn't represent the entire establishment. In fact, the bartender was great, and the drinks were very well made. What disappointed me was the server's attitude. I wasn't aware that ordering drinks at a restaurant with a full bar wasn't enough to be considered a paying customer, especially when there weren't enough bar stools to accommodate our group. His approach came across as rude, unprofessional, and completely unnecessary. Needless to say, we were not going to get up until we had finished out drinks, and we did not. Yard house is one of our favorite date night spots on I Drive. We stopped by since we were in the area. We didn't have a reservation and the wait time was over 40 minutes but we were able to find a couple seats at the bar. We came in for a couple drinks and some appetizers. The shrimp was delicious, the queso was to die for and the drinks were made to perfection. My husband loves their beer collection. I enjoy their expresso martinis. Honestly all the drinks I've had here have been great, that's just my go to at the moment. They were playing the game so we ordered a couple more drinks and sat at the bar for a bit. I would suggest going on the website and reserving your spot ahead of time. It lets you enter the number of people in your party and gives you an estimated wait time, which I found to be pretty accurate. It sends you text updates, and the technology is actually pretty cool. It can tell when you're not close enough yet and will tell you to check in once you're closer to the restaurant. There were 6 of us in the group, so reserving ahead definitely helped. I actually had to do it twice because we reserved our spot before we left, and by the time we got there, it had timed out. I checked in again, and when we arrived, the host said, "I see you checked in twice." He told us the wait would probably be about 10 minutes, and we ended up waiting less than that before being seated. Considering it's at Icon Park and it was the night of a game, the place was packed with a lot of hustle and bustle. I was impressed that we were seated so quickly, especially with a party of 6. Our waiter, Matt, was amazing, and the food was amazing too. We ordered what felt like almost every appetizer on the menu. We had the Cali Roll Stack, Parmesan truffle fries, crispy Brussels sprouts, spinach dip, and the vegan Gardein wings. The Cali Roll Stack was probably my favorite appetizer. It was so good, and it was made with real crab. Most places use imitation crab, and Matt even told us that's why it's his favorite appetizer too. He was absolutely right. The Gardein wings were surprisingly good. We ordered the Korean chili garlic and Buffalo flavors, and if nobody had told me they were vegan, I probably wouldn't have known. I'd never had a soy-based wing before, but I would definitely order them again. The Parmesan truffle fries were exactly what you want them to be, and the crispy Brussels sprouts disappeared fast. At that point, it seemed like everyone else was tapped out, but somehow we still had room to eat. We ordered the lobster garlic noodles, and they were amazing. They didn't skimp on the lobster either. There were big chunks of real lobster throughout the dish, along with spinach and garlic noodles. Definitely one of my favorite entrées of the night. I also tried the Key Lime Cider, and I liked that they let me sample it before ordering. It ended up being really refreshing and exactly what I was looking for. For dessert, we shared the brownie cookie topped with ice cream. Oh my God. I don't even like chocolate like that, and it was amazing. Yard House has never really disappointed me, but this visit was especially good. I don't know if we were just starving or if the chef was having an exceptional night, but kudos and hats off to the kitchen. Parking was easy too. Levels 3 and 4 of the garage were free, so there was no need to pay or get anything validated. Overall, everything was smooth from start to finish. Little did you know, I celebrated my new dream job today and out of all the restaurants - we wanted to celebrate here. Happy hour is affordable and the selections for apps are to-die for. We have never seen a Yard House so we decided to give it a try. It's owned by Darden who owns Olive Garden, Bahama Breeze, etc. I think this is probably one of their best restaurant concepts. The place is large and there are lots of staffing moving around quickly. It can be a bit loud inside so if you want to carry on a relaxing conversation I would recommend getting a table outside. The inside is large with plenty of seating options. Food - We both had burgers and they were cooked perfectly. The Bacon and Blue could have used just a bit more blue cheese. The bacon was plentiful and crispy (not two little 4 inch fatty pieces like fast food placed). My friend opted to swap out fries for Mac and cheese. The portion size was large enough for two, but it wasn't the best mac we've had - tasted mostly like cheddar cheese and not creamy. Beverages - lots of choices from the bar. I tried a Key Lime Cider that was so refreshing and there is a full bar. There is a brewery above the resturant - not sure it's in use but it looks neat. Atmosphere - it's a large place and can get loud inside. We checked out several places in Icon park and this was the only place that had a wait, but it was worth it. There are lots of places to choose from in the area, but I'm sure we will be back and looking for other locations in other cities. read more

We did, and by the time we arrived, our table was ready -- super smooth and worth doing. Be aware that it gets very noisy inside. It was too cold to sit outside when we went, so that wasn't an option. Still, overall it's decent, reliable, and does the trick when you're looking for a lively spot with consistent food. We stopped in for a late lunch at Yard House in Orlando and lucked out by arriving right as happy hour was getting started -- always a win. Let's start with the drinks. My wife ordered a Blue Moon with an orange wedge, and our server Brandon suggested a Key Lime cider for me since I like citrus beers and ciders. I'm a big key lime pie fan, so that was an easy yes -- and it did not disappoint. Super refreshing. For happy hour apps, we went a little wild (no regrets). First up were the chicken lettuce wraps served in a fried wonton shell -- seriously delicious and packed with flavor. Next was Miguel's Queso Dip, a rich blend of queso and spices baked in a cast iron skillet. We added taco meat for a small upcharge, and it was 100% worth it. We also ordered the beef sliders: four sliders with cheese and garlic dill pickles on sweet Hawaiian rolls, served with fries. Solid, satisfying, and perfect for sharing. Happy hour runs Monday-Thursday from 3-6 PM, with half-priced appetizers and $2 off beers and cocktails, which makes it an even better deal. The place wasn't too busy when we arrived but was definitely filling up by the time we left. We don't have a Yard House near where we live, so we always try to stop by when we're in Orlando. Brandon was fantastic -- super friendly, helpful, and had a great positive attitude that really added to the experience. The bar situation is impressive. Our waiter, Cliff, was fantastic. Super knowledgeable and explained that they're basically an American kitchen with a bit of an Asian twist. That little explanation helped when choosing between their regular Philly and the Korean-style version. My husband went with the Korean twist Philly (on Cliff's recommendation) and ate. every. bite. He genuinely enjoyed it -- always a good sign. I, however, did not listen to Cliff. He suggested the Steak Bowl, and instead I went with the Mac n Cheese. It wasn't bad -- just not my style. The cheese sauce was lighter in flavor, and I personally prefer my mac overly cheesy and bold. I also would've liked the noodles a touch more al dente. If you're someone who enjoys elevated mac (think Lobster Mac vibes), this may be right up your alley. For me? Probably a one-time choice. Next visit, I'm ordering what Cliff suggests. Atmosphere-wise -- 10/10. Open industrial ceilings, cool decor, great music, and just an overall fun vibe. Hubby and I both commented on how much we liked the space. This was my first time at Yard House, and let me tell you, I was impressed. The restaurant was packed and super busy for a Monday night, which tells you how popular this place is. It's very spacious, with tons of tables and booths, plus a huge bar right in the center. We walked in, were greeted, and about five minutes later we were seated at a booth. There are TVs everywhere, all playing different sports, which adds to the vibe. The place is nicely decorated and definitely has that classic sports bar / American restaurant feel. It does get pretty noisy, but that's expected with so many people eating and having a cold one... or two. I ordered the wings, half buffalo and half Korean chili garlic. They were huge, crispy, and super juicy...easily a 10/10. I'll definitely be ordering those again. I also had the parmesan truffle fries on the side. They were piping hot and very crispy, though fair warning: the truffle flavor is pretty strong. Both of my sons enjoyed their food as well, and we had a great time overall. We'll definitely be back when my older son is back in town. I do wish our server had been in a better mood, but it seemed like she had a long and busy day, which I understand. Their customer service is great and we like the variety of foods, plus it's a great place if you like BEER! The place can busy so I'd try to reserve a spot if possible (last time we visited I called on the phone but I think you may be able to do online as well). This was the first time I came to this restaurant and I truly can say, I will be back. The ambience was very nice and welcoming. They have a happy hour Monday through Friday from 3pm -6pm. The pricing is affordable as well. I ate the Whiskey glazed Salmon and let me tell you, a day later my mouth is still watering. Upon arrival, there was a line out of the door to set a reservation, which didn't come as a surprise to me on a busy Saturday night. Our wait time was 45-1hour so we decided to walk around icon to pass the time. Highly recommend the adult beverage cart that is right outside of the entrance to the indoor food court. For appetizer we got the pretzel, but unfortunately it was burnt so it was taken off our tab. I'm always in search of a good slider and these were so good. They weren't overly cooked and it comes with a thousand island dressing that we got on the side, but still dipped into. The fries were good classic fries and the pickles were super juicy and crunchy. The wings we got tossed in buffalo, they gave almost like a Korean twice fried vibe. Flavor was good, but I prefer a traditional fried wing with no extra breading.
