I don't understand the hate this place gets online from Orlando locals. We're new to the Orlando area and have had this on our list of must try spots for some time now. I know there are a few locations but we planned to stop at this location specifically during a last min birthday staycation (but not *on* my brthday) If you look online this routinly is on lists of date night and good group dining spots and there will inevitably be a ton of people in the comments complaining about it being "mid" or "basic" but that wasn't our experience at all. We had a great experience here. We initially booked for the first time of our staycation but called last min to push back a few days as I wasn't feeling very well. It was no issue at all and they changed our reservation without issue or complaints & wished me well. The space is really cool. MCM in design with a touch of California beach bungalow. We were seated in a back room with a view of the lake behind. It was a bit loud but most places are these days. I am deaf in one of my ears so one I told our server & she spoke up over the noise and it was a non-issue. Appreciated because that's not always the case. We ordered a glass of wine and the "Shirley After Dark" cocktail (I know it's a wine bar but I just felt like a cocktail) loved it. Would absolutely order it again. We ordered the house salad which was far from basic and delicious and fresh. Very light and decent size. My husband also aired the Cauliflower app which was massive. The hummus was delicious. I'm not a fan of cauliflower but he raved about it. We also split the Butchers Pizza and had them out the hot honey on the side. I can't do spice after destroying my stomach in college so they brought me a side of normal honey so I could hector full flavor profile within my dietary needs. We got to speaking with our server whose name I unfortunately can't remember (light blonde shoulder length hair if management reads this) & she was very knowledgeable about the wine selection. We're not white wine drinkers but the FL heat is a little too much for a glass of red most days so we're trying to get into it. She had 3 recommendations and brought me all three to taste. Unfortunatly I enjoyed was sold out by the time we ordered it (which at the height of tourist summer isn't beyond the realm of reasonability) We then ordered the affogato and olive oil cake. Both were delicious. It was my husband's first time trying an affogato and it has since become a favorite of his. It was mentioned in passing while chatting that we were in a last min staycation as it was my birthday week and we didn't plan anything in advance and made it clear it was not my birthday but she still comped my cocktail and the olive oil cake and wrote a lighthearted "sorry we were out of the wine" on our receipt. Which was a genuinely nice & unexpected gesture. The entire meal was quite affordable even before anything got comped compared with other options of the same caliber in the area. Portons are quite large as well. While I don't love communal tables typically, almost no one was seated at the same table and if they were it was quite far apart (see photos). I can see that being bothersome on a busy night but we were there on a summer night (busy enough to run out of a wine) so I can't imagine it being typically worse than that So I say again, I don't understand what people don't like about this place. Last night was our first time in this beautiful restaurant. Sarah was our server. I'm sure our service would've been better but she had a 21 top and they were pretty needy. She was sweet and gave recommendation since it was our first time. We ordered the chicken and caviar appetizer. Best thing we had all night. I could've eaten this with a side for dinner. My son and I ordered the burger. To us, it was just ok. It sounds better than it tasted. The fries were crispy and delicious. We ate half our burgers and took the rest with us. My daughter had the steak and it was extremely chewy. She ordered medium but it came out medium rare. She didn't send it back. Later, She offered me a piece and I couldn't eat it because it was so chewy like eating bubble gum. She said she didn't want to send it back because we came in late and they were closing soon. Had I known sooner that she was unhappy with her food, I would've sent it back for her. The olive oil cake is great! My rating is on the food. It was just ok. We went for brunch, so maybe we ordered the wrong items. The Winemakers breakfast (5/10)was blah. This is their traditional breakfast entree with eggs, hash browns, chicken sausage and toast. The eggs were like warm and dry, the hash browns were beautiful, but not that tasty (need salt and fat). The chicken sausage was a fail. Not sure who created that recipe, but it tasted like a dry chicken burger with a ton of sage. It lacked fat, which all sausages need. The brunch burger(6/10) was just ok as well. The fries were delicious! The stars of the show were the Truffled Vineyard Fries(10/10) and the Toffee Walnut Bread(8/10), this needed more candied walnuts. The service and decor were 10/10! I used to go to the Sixty vines in Winter Park and I was so excited to hear that they were putting a Sixty Vines closer to my home. I really enjoy just about everything at this place. The food is great. I especially like the cheese plate and their house made ricotta is incredible. The cheese plates are also pretty reasonably priced. Their wine selection is impressive and it changes fairly often so that's also pretty great. This is an awesome place to meet up with friends and enjoy a casual meal. Amazing place to grab lunch that's only steps from epic universe. I often forget that there's actual restaurants that sit outside the theme park bubble. I was really surprised when I found this place was only eight minutes from our hotel, which was the Helios, and that it had abundant parking. I had thought we were going to have to go to I drive to find lunch, but this place popped up on my Yelp search. I am so glad it did because it was amazing. On Saturday at 11 AM we were one of only a couple people in the restaurant, and the restaurant is huge. I heard it does get busy for dinner. Our waitress was so nice, whenever she left the table my younger son would ask where she went because he wanted to talk with her again. Almost everything is made in house and it shows. We loved everything we got. I got a Matcha cocktail off the brunch menu and it was amazing. Not too sweet and made with real Matcha powder. They do have a kids menu so my son got cheese pizza and it came with a side of fries or fruit. He decided on fries and the fries are delicious. We got a Caesar salad to share along with the steak and fries. The Caesar salad was amazing. The croutons were absolutely delicious and it was quite large so I'm glad we got it to share. The Steak Frites was also very good. It was topped with chimichurri sauce and the medium rare was cooked to perfection. The fries were the same as my sons fries and everybody loved them. They're skinny and seasoned with just the right amount of salt. After eating at the theme park, it is a joy to have high-quality food at reasonable prices. This restaurant is also beautiful and they have so many different types of wine on top that you can try. I really love this concept. I'm a huge fan of the drink menu, there were many other drinks that I wanted to try. If we were local, we'd be coming here almost every weekend. I highly recommend checking this place out. read more

It's been two years since I last visited, and after having a great Yelp experience last year, I needed to visit again. I made a reservation through OpenTable for a Saturday evening. I checked in when I arrived, and was told I could sit anywhere in the bar for faster service. I first sat in the show kitchen area, thinking that was a food bar. However, after not getting acknowledged, I moved to the main bar. My bartender (who goes by the letter H) greeted me and told me the tequila fix (13 dollars) was a good drink. Indeed it was with an ample amount of tequila, watermelon, and lime. It was quite refreshing and sweet. I took the popular pork chop dish (24 dollars), which was a big chop glazed in brown butter. It was pretty tender and flavorful with the glaze, and the romesco sauce made the flavors even better. It did get a bit gamey at the end, but I still enjoyed it. The vegetable was a generous amount of various colored carrots, which were thick and a bit crunchy. It had to be cut with a knife, but it was delicious, that the equestrian in me had a happy whinny. For dessert, the suggested cheesecake (9 dollars) was a winner as it was moist and fluffy, providing a sweet end. I saved some for home to enjoy the next day. My bartender was friendly and helpful. She was pretty busy, but still had a cheerful and engaging attitude. I also love the vibe as it was social and busy. The music kept the rhythm going, and the dining area is quite open and big. Outdoor dining is available as well. Sixty Vines reminds me of Cooper Hawks, but maybe a bit more upscale and lively. The food and drinks are great and the prices are pretty reasonable. Finally made it to an Orlando Sixty Vines location! I visited their Dallas location a couple years ago and had a great time. The Sand Lake location is swanky, modern, and fun! Our server was attentive and gave nice wine suggestions and allowed us to taste several we were interested in. We all enjoyed wine and apps - they have great shareables! The dates, burrata, and mussels were all nice choices, with the mussels standing out as a favorite to me. We also enjoyed two pastas - the campanelle was amazing! He really made the experience enjoyable and explained the menu and the idea behind 60 vines and the wine that they have on tap. The location in doctor Phillips is beautiful. We tried a few cocktails: -Ginger and Juice - Winter Spice Margarita The house salad was amazing It was fresh and adding a protein on top. Just made it even better. I would definitely order that house salad again. My dad tried the Atlantic salmon and he said it was absolutely delicious. It comes on a bed of broccolini. My boss is in town for work and we chose to come here for dinner. It was Monday night around 6 PM and it wasn't terribly busy but as the night went on larger and larger parties came in and the noise level just continued to increase. That is the one downside to this location. Food is excellent and our service has always been good, but the acoustics are really bad so it can be hard to have a conversation, especially if you're in one of the outside rooms where they see large parties. We were a party of three, but there was a party of 10 that was seated behind us a party of five next to us and a party of eight that was behind us as well. Just made it very loud. I started with their ginger snap old-fashioned. It's a seasonal beverage, and I really appreciated the nod to an all-time classic. The flavor was excellent and very well balanced. I switched to a glass of Ferrari Campo white wine afterwards, though. I'm a creature of habit here so always order the same thing. I got the Crest de Gallo, which is pasta with chicken and a light pesto sauce. It's honestly just the perfect portion size. I always leave feeling full, but not overly full. Pasta was cooked really nicely. A group of us came here for dinner on a Thursday evening as part of our quarterly dinner group plans. The decor and vibe were elevated but still casual enough- perfect for what we were going for. We originally had a group of 11 which was easy to book a reservation for weeks ahead on their website, and as we had a few last minute changes, they were very flexible with accommodating. Our server was great, joining in on our traditions and so helpful with making wine and food recommendations. It was a little louder given the design of the space, so hard to talk with everyone at our table, but not so bad that it negatively impacted the experience since we could still talk with those seated nearer. The food was amazing and got great feedback across the board. From the burrata as an app and things as simple as the house salad, to the create de gallo, roasted chicken, and the sticky toffee and olive oil citrus cake desserts, everything was lovely. I found this place looking for a brunch in Orlando. Came across this location as we're staying nearby at the Marriott vacation club. The entrance is open and bright, and the ambience is modern and chic. As we were to be seated, there was wall, art made out of corks which caught my eye. We ask to be seated by the window as it has a beautiful view of the lake. We agreed by a wonderfully awesome waiter, who explained to us the menu and the wine selection. At first glance, we thought the wall taps were for beer, but in fact - duh - they are wine taps. Hence the name 60 vines... We were very pleasantly surprised. I am a white wine lover, and they had ample selection. They have a great selection of reds as well. I will say my favorite was the Albariño, followed by the four white blend... we had the zucchini chips which were light flaky and had the right amount of spice and sweet. Couldn't stop eating them. I enjoyed the egg white frittata which was topped with mushrooms and goat cheese. They could've gone a little heavier on the goat cheese, but otherwise the dish was phenomenal. My boyfriend had the eggs Benedict. I can't remember what it was called, but the poached eggs were perfect on top of a crispy croissant with herb hashbrowns, that were outstanding. I think he may have licked the dish clean... I will say we could've stopped there and left very happy, but we decided to indulge a little in dessert and a dessert adult beverage. I must say these were slamdunks. The espresso martini was on point. The other chocolate drink which I can't recall its name either had like a dust of chocolate and ice on the rim. It had liquor 43 in it and was just stupid good. But the overall winning dish was the toffee pull apart bread that was listed as a brunch item and is undoubtedly the best dessert I think I have ever had. Sixty Vines never disappoints! I came with someone from out of town and we were excited to munch on some tapas while catching up, and it was perfect. Highlights of our small plates were the bacon wrapped dates, the truffle fries, and the brussel sprouts. Some of the food is definitely a little bit out of the ordinary from what you would typically expect, but also so tasty. My drink was nothing special, but tasty. The interior of this location is so beautiful. It is very light and open, and very natural feeling. We visited sixty vines for brunch on a Sunday. We had a reservation and were seated almost immediately. I love that this place is all about sustainability. I understand why they wouldn't have printed menus, but their online menu was a little difficult to navigate. I was also surprised that they didn't have their mimosa bar on the menu. It made ordering confusing because I knew they had it, but when I asked about mimosas, our server just said "yeah I can do a mimosa" and I kind of stumbled through asking if they did the mimosa bar since I knew they had it during the Yelp event a few weeks prior. He ultimately did say they had that, and then said he'd bring us a bottle (but didn't say of what). I would've liked to pick our bubbly, but I don't know if they do that. For breakfast, we started with the orange morning bread, then I got the brunch burger with no tomato and my companion got the pork sandwich. The morning bread is fantastic, a must do for any brunch crew. The Cabernet burger was pretty great, although they did leave the tomato on. The sandwich was a little dry, could've definitely used more sauce. The potatoes were very good though, well executed for both of us. My daughter celebrated her birthday at the Sand lake location two weeks ago and loved it. She invited my sister and I to meet her for drinks last night when we were in Orlando. We loved everything about it. Such a beautiful ambiance when you walk in. The smell of the candles were amazing. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were great. Isaac's was an amazing bartender. I didn't do the wine thing (they're known for it though), but the food definitely held its own. I tried the Shrimp & Avocado, Tuna Crudo, and Santa Maria Tri Tip -- all super fresh, flavorful, and plated really nicely. The tri tip was tender and filling, and the shrimp & avocado was honestly one of the best salads I've had in a while. Everything felt clean and elevated without being too fussy. I came in with my sister and a friend on Saturday morning for our 10:30am brunch reservation. We hadn't seen our friend in over a year so we caught up here! Our waitress was welcoming and attentive, always showing up at the right moment for refills on our waters or to ask if we needed anything. They give you menus for the drinks, but the food is via a QR code. To drink, I ordered a coffee, which came with a cute little chocolate cookie. What a sweet touch! My sister got a mocktail called "Garden Spritz" (not pictured) which she enjoyed. To eat, my sister and I shared the Tuscan Eggs Benedict, which came with breakfast potatoes. We also got a side of fruit to share (not pictured). All of our choices were yummy! Our friend is gluten intolerant, which they were very accommodating of. She got the Tortilla de Patatas and a mimosa (neither pictured), and seemed to enjoy both. We were enjoying our time talking, so we all ended up ordering a coffee before we left (and another for me)! My nephew recently tried another location and was raving about Sixty Vines. I had a friend visiting from out of town and I knew this was a perfect spot for us to try. Normally I take out of towners to my tried and tested best, but I was up for adventure today! The risk was worth it! We arrived right at 11 and were the first table seated. I would recommend reservations even for lunch, or perhaps a Friday lunch? The smell of delicious bread was permeating the air. Our waitress brought us iced tea and simple syrup while we perused the menu. We split a most delicious burrata on gorgeous crunchy ciabatta with garlic confit, blistered tomatoes and an emerald pesto. This could easily be a meal. It was sublime. I had the house salad with grilled chicken as my main. This was not an ordinary salad. It was studded with candied walnuts, strawberries, and pecorino. Every bite was perfect. My friend enjoyed the Creste di Gallo pasta, another huge portion, she took the rest back for her dinner. Our waitress was amazing attentive but also let us catch up and wasn't pestering us and also was super cool that we sat there for nearly three hours. The space is beautiful and definitely great for a date night, ladies lunch, or celebration. Today there was a graduation, birthday and celebration of a baptism all going. The luncheon for the baptism was in the private dining room with views of the lake, but the other two parties were just tables in the restaurant yet they still felt festive and fun. I walked into 60 vines they are currently doing their brunch menu until 3 PM; I didn't get any food however I did get a 5 ounce pour of the STOLPMAN wine from Santa Barbara, CA. The lovely lady that for me my glass of wine told me that the tasting notes are in deep noir with a hint of blackberry and blueberry she said it's also very palatable with their charcuterie boards!! The ambience of 60 vines honestly reminds me of a swanky little beach lounge with yummy food and delectable wines. 10/10 This location is currently off of Sand Lake next to the cigar boutique lounge as well as the Publix in the same strip it's also in the same area as seasons 52 and Rocco's tacos. read more

My husband and I stopped by around 4:30 PM after a long work week, looking to unwind. The space is beautiful, bright, trendy, and open, with plenty of parking, free Wi-Fi, and both indoor and outdoor seating. We grabbed seats at the bar for happy hour, which runs until 6 PM. We started with a bottle (small) of sparkling water to share. Later, without asking, the bartender opened and served a second bottle. We hadn't ordered it, and honestly wouldn't have, but I figured we'd just be charged for two. Unfortunately, the final bill showed three bottles at $7.50 each. We were never served a third. My husband paid while I was in the restroom, and I didn't check the receipt until we were already in the car on the way home. Definitely a letdown. For drinks, we each tried a 5 oz pour: Diseno Pinot Noir: $11 (after $3 HH discount) Annabelle by Jenny Wagner Sauvignon Blanc: $12 (after $3 HH discount) We also shared the pan-roasted mussels -- a "Shared Plate" priced at $18, but the $2 happy hour discount that should have been applied wasn't. That said, the mussels were fantastic and paired beautifully with the Sauvignon Blanc. The happy hour wines were okay, but we opted to pay a little more for higher-quality selections. For dinner, we split the Shrimp & Smoked Bacon Pizza ($18.50), which was delicious. We also sampled a few more wines: 2.5 oz Ferrari Carano Fumé Blanc: $6 2.5 oz Ridge "Three Valleys" Zinfandel: $10 5 oz Frog's Leap Flycatcher Red Blend: $17 5 oz Chateau Malijay Cotes du Rhône Red Blend: $18 The food overall was great, though I found the menu somewhat limited. The wine list leans heavily toward California with a few options from France, Italy, and Argentina. Quality was solid, but the prices felt a bit steep for the pour sizes, not unusual for the area, but still, something to note. Service was friendly and attentive, but the billing issues, being overcharged for water we didn't want and missing a happy hour discount, definitely took away from the experience in the end. I didn't notice until it was too late to fix. Would I return? Possibly, the ambiance and food were lovely. But next time, I'll keep a closer eye on the receipt before heading out. read more

We had a great experience at Sixty Vines. The ambiance is beautiful and lively, with a very social, upbeat atmosphere that makes it a great spot for a night out. The drinks were excellent. The wine flight was delicious and a great way to try a variety, and my wife ordered the frosé, which was refreshing and really well done. The food was very good overall. I had the wood-grilled steak with fingerling potatoes--cooked well and full of flavor. It just needed a touch of salt and pepper, and once added, it was excellent. My wife ordered the shrimp and bacon pizza, which was a unique combination and surprisingly delicious. Overall, a fantastic experience with great ambiance, drinks, and solid food. Definitely a place we'd come back to. read more

Sixty Vines has some delicious food and good service but it's tough to get past the seating set up which seems designed for large and loud groups. Brunch has some especially delicious options and as a non-wine drinker you may feel slightly left out with everyone indulging around you, but there are plenty of non-alcoholic options. Prices being high and the large and loud groups both times I've been make it more of a special occasion restaurant for me than a regular stop. read more
