I am one that does not care to write reviews, but of all the worst places I've been, this would be it and I had make sure people knew. I suppose it was our fault for picking a place nearish the highway on our way back home from one day at the Epic park with the kids, but after being informed of a 50 minute or less wait time we decided it would be just as easy to wait than to drive to another location. After a little over an hour we decided to check on our place in line. They stated they were cleaning off some tables and t give them another 10-15 minutes. After that wait we checked in again and were told it would be another 10 minutes. We finally received the ready text at 12 minutes after our final check in (nearly an hour and a half wait after our 50 minutes or less advisory). Again, I understand waits can be hard to judge, but this was so far off base. We were then led to our table, which seemed like we would be ready for, until they took us to the furthest back room (most likely for parties or very busy days) where the room felt like it was in the lower 60s. Not a single person in the room didn't felt froze out. One family took turns taking their child outside to wait until their food arrived. This was even after they waited 15 minutes for a waiter/waitress to stop by to get drinks (which they just ordered everything. Once our drinks were ordered, I told the wife what I wanted and headed to the truck to get them each a jacket/sweatshirt. Even that didn't seem enough to keep the kids and wife warm. After ordering (Big ole burrito for me, chicken and waffles for the son/wife and kids burger with just pickles and mustard for the daughter) we waited so long the kids got in a short nap. I am not kidding when I say it was over an hour we waited on food. It does not come out all at once either. It feels like they have 3 different cooks working on their own part of the menu for a place that holds nearly 200 people. Even after a wait of an hour, they forgot mustard on the daughters burger. No biggie, we grabbed some from a nearby table, but I could imagine the wait if the waitress hadn't just given the nearby table some sides. Leaving was probably the best part of the whole experience. I mean, $30 for chicken and waffles seems a bit much; and $3 for a side of chipotle sauce. I would highly suggest not going, stay warm and probably be in and out of other restaurants before you even get near your food here. read more

We came back because we liked it the first time. This time? Not so much. We decided to revisit this restaurant after enjoying our previous experience. Unfortunately, this visit was a completely different story. There were plenty of empty tables, yet the hostess chose to seat us all the way in the back of the restaurant. ‍ Not exactly the table you'd expect when so many others were available. Our waiter, Jordan, came over almost immediately asking what we wanted to drink before we even had a chance to look at the menu. ‍ Our cappuccinos were delicious, but from there, the pace felt more rushed than relaxed. We hadn't even made it halfway through the menu when we were already being asked about our entrées. Feeling pressured, I ordered the scrambled eggs with cheese, potatoes, biscuit and gravy. My boyfriend ordered a similar dish with a few extras added to his eggs. Unfortunately, the scrambled eggs were dry and overcooked, which was disappointing. The bigger issue was the service. Jordan never returned to check on us while we were eating, never asked if everything was okay, and never offered to see if we needed anything else. Then, before we had even finished our meals, the check arrived and he attempted to clear our plates. Hold up... we're still eating! That's not the kind of dining experience I expect, especially at a restaurant we had previously enjoyed. The cappuccinos were the bright spot, but unfortunately, good coffee couldn't make up for the rushed service and disappointing food. Orlando has plenty of great breakfast spots to explore, and after this visit, I think we'll be exploring some new ones. read more

Great brunch place when you are in the area. Everything in the menu is HUGE!! They tasted amazing too! We went there around 9am Sunday, and the place is already packed. If you go later in the day, I'm sure there will be a bit of a wait. The place is unique, with tractor on the entrance and lots of celebrities signatures/endorsements. I've heard their Vegas location is super popular. I can see why! The only downside was our table was super sticky! I think from the pancake syrup or something. We had to wipe it down a bit more...and put some napkins around the table. Not a big deal. Next time we'll ask them to give an extra cleaning before we sit down. Found this place online while visiting Orlando. Wanted a laid-back atmosphere for breakfast and we weren't disappointed. We were warmly greeted upon entering and seated immediately. The menu is expansive - so much from which to choose! Our waitress was awesome and very attentive. The food was good - from the BLT sandwich, to scrambled egg whites with roasted chicken, to the breakfast burrito, to the lemon blueberry pancake (large enough to fit in a pizza box!), and more. Plus the portions were "humongous!" There was also someone on staff offering to take photos of the table guests and selling the photos. Hash House A Go Go is definitely a great breakfast/brunch spot to get a good and BIG meal. The restaurant is a cozy home cooking comfort vibe. Everyone was very friendly and helpful as we navigated through the menu. They have a plethora of options of food and drinks to choose from. I ordered their chicken and biscuit with house fries with eggs. The chicken breast was so tender and juicy, with a perfect golden crisp. We decided to stop in for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon around 2. This place was PACKED. We had about a 25 minute wait which was fine. It gave us a chance to look over the menu and decide what we wanted. They were very organized at the front check in area. When we were seated we immediately ordered the fried green tomato tower! It was delicious! Just added a little salt to ours. I ordered the meatloaf and eggs. I enjoyed it. The meatloaf is made with beef and pork. It was dense and savory. My husband ordered the signature chicken. Everything is huge! You can definitely share. We had tons of leftovers. I'd love to stop in again and try different things. My BLT Bloody Mary had enough toppings that I could literally make a sandwich out of it (so of course I did), and the cocktail was tasty too! We started with bite sized nuggets of biscuits served with a dusting of powdered sugar and a side of jam, but even if I had not, it's doubtful I could have a eaten much kore than half of the colossal breakfast that followed. Dined-in again for breakfast but this time we were able to make a reservation through Open Table. You would think making a reservation would get us a nice seat in a booth or in the dining area, but we were placed at the faaaaar back corner with the metal chairs and tables. Mind you - there was a lot of open booths that were sitting a party of two just like us. The host looked like she was going to place us in a booth (table 26), but the person just walked past and brought us to the furthest table possible from the front. We shared the meatloaf hash, country fried steak and waffle. The country fried steak this time around was more crispy and fresh out the kitchen. Waffle was bouncy and the meatloaf was loaded. Again, we had a lot of leftovers to take home. Bumping it down on stars because I got the bottom of the pot with my mashed potatoes. It was burnt and unpleasant to eat. Left it on my plate while I packed up the rest. It seemed like whoever made my plate, tried to mix the burnt parts of the mash inside the pile itself. Prices are still through the roof. This was our 2nd trip to HHaGG since 2010. Not due to any problems, but living in Orlando has us normally avoiding the I-Drive tourist area. This time our grandson (27) want to go there for his birthday so we went. As before, it was crowded due to tourists and our large crowd. Also like before, it was delicious. There were issues getting all the orders correct and only having one waitress for our party of 12 at peak breakfast/brunch time. I greatly enjoyed my corned beef hash skillet. The shaved beef was delicious, along with their fluffy biscuits. The breakfast burrito got rave reviews as well as the huge chocolate pancake and the bacon waffle. This was my first time visiting Hash House A Go Go for breakfast. I enjoyed the memorabilia and decor displayed outside and inside the restaurant. The blue Classic Dodge antique car and the red Ferguson Tractor were the highlights. Once we were ushered to our table, we found our seats and began to peruse the menu. I decided on the Churro Waffle. I added an order of Scrambled Eggs and Turkey Sausage. To drink, I had a Vanilla Latte. My friends chose the Tractor Driver Combo, a Big O' Chicken Pot Pie and Coffee. My Churro Waffle was plentiful and deliciously prepared. The Cinnamon Sugar was a great touch. I could only eat half and had to take the rest home. The Vanilla Latte was also good. It wasn't too sweet and had the right amount of vanilla flavoring. Everyone else seemed to enjoy what they ordered. There was a photographer who took our photos which were then made available for purchase. The photos were developed and brought to us for review. Since it was my birthday, I received a complimentary photo of myself and was also given a Churro Waffle dessert. It was drizzled with caramel and had a scoop of ice cream on top. There is a good amount of signage to find the building, but it's a good idea to have the gps on so you don't miss the turn. The parking lot for Hash House is limited. Luckily we were able to park in the shared lot next door closer to the hotel. Just don't park in any marked spots. We didn't see any towing, but that doesn't mean it won't happen. Once seated, we were served by Sam who knew the menu and was able to modify choices to satisfy everyone's desires at the table. Now this is a brunch spot! Came here on my most recent trip to Orlando on a whim and we had such a great meal. We got there a little after 12 and had no issues being seated. Also our server was super attentive and gave us great recommendations. I opted for Andy's Sage Fried Chicken and Eggs and holy moly this dish was not only huge it was delicious! It came with two eggs however you like, I opted for over easy, potatoes (I got normal breakfast potatoes but I believe it comes with a special mash potato), tomato's, bacon and a biscuit. The chicken was so crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside and had a really nice honey drizzle on top. I honestly didn't even need to eat the rest of the day because it was so much food! Others in my party got the California scramble and the tractor driver combo with griddled French toast. Everyone raved about their meals. The location was perfect for us since we were heading to the outlets right after which is only about a 5 min drive away. We had seen a lot of great reviews for this place, and made a reservation for brunch on a Tuesday. The parking lot was packed, and so was the inside, so I'm glad we had the reservation. This used to be an antique car museum, judging from the decor and ambiance. The food was simply not good. We ordered the chicken and waffles for 30 bucks. The chicken was lukewarm, and the crusty breading was hard and came off in chunks completely separating from the chicken. It was obvious this had been cooked ahead and then reheated, and not thoroughly reheated. I suspect this gave me some mild food poisoning. The waffles were room temperature and a little rubbery, so we think they were microwaved out of a fridge. Definitely not what you are looking for in a $30 brunch dish. There was a giant stalk of rosemary sticking out the top for no apparent reason, and it was covered in sauteed green onions that clashed with the flavor profile. Other dishes we tried were a bowl of potato soup that was also just so-so and not hot, although it was warmer than the chicken. For some reason they decided to serve it with uncooked spaghetti splayed on the top of the bowl. The other dish was a meat lovers scrambled eggs and this was the one dish prepared fresh, from my reckoning. It did not have a lot of meat though. We also tried two appetizers, the bacon and the fried zucchini. The zucchini was quite good and came with a nice dipping sauce. I think this was the best dish overall. The bacon was 3 and a half pieces of sugar-cured, cold bacon stuck in a jar with some lettuce, and not worth the price. At least the water tasted clean, and the service was friendly. I could have done without the roaming Russian lady taking pictures of tables and then trying to sell them to you a short while later. All we wanted was brunch. Maybe it used to better, but based on our experience, and the painful stomach discomfort that lasted for about 48 hours after eating here, I would suggest skipping this place. read more

This is a place you go when you're hungry and not concerned about calories. The menu is creative with a variety of breakfast foods mixed with typical lunch items. The portions are very large and quite delicious. We had a pleasant server who seemed to be quite busy, but he was great about checking on us. The atmosphere is fun and clean. There was even a lady who came around and took our picture (like when you go on a cruise ship). This was actually very nice for us as my friend and I hadn't seen one another in 20 years.
