Not too bad of food for a hotel. In Orlando working and enjoying some beautiful weather, I didn't feel like going out after my evening trip to the gym so I decided to hit up the restaurant just outside the spa. Looking over a fairly diverse bar food menu, the white fish and chips hit the mark. White fish is a bit hardier than haddock which I'm very used to. The fish is a little more dense than haddock but overall good. The portion size was OK. The meal comes with coleslaw and french fries (the "chips"). The coleslaw was not bland nor was it sweet. It was right in the middle. The coleslaw itself tasted fresh. I wish they would've given you more than a small cup. The french fries were on the crispy side, which I like, and you get plenty of them. Very friendly staff, fast service even though the restaurant was quite busy. read more

Update: I originally wrote a review for FastBreak because I thought thats what the poolside food place was called because the name was on my receipt, but turns out its not. However, I did get a coffee from FastBreak two days in a row and it was exactly the drink I needed to have a good day. So I would still recommend. read more

An A-ok experience. I went here twice during my most recent Conference hosted at the Hilton Orlando and ordered the same thing both times: a fried chicken cobb salad with extra dressing. The salad is pretty good. The service was decent - it felt like service was on "island-time" - not rushed so slow and casual. Each time, there was more than enough to review the menu and decide what you would want to order. The food probably took about 15-20 minutes for the plates to arrive. I didn't experience any issues with what I ordered either time. The salad was good enough to order twice and I would order it again. The first time was at dinner time and the second was at lunch time. The dinner ambiance was nice, relatively quiet for a sports bar on a Friday night. During lunch, the weather was good, and I enjoyed being seated at the patio opening, where I took advantage of the shade provided indoors and the warmth and fresh air from the outside. The second time I learned to ask for the check earlier on and to inquire if there were any Hilton related discounts. You will have the option to pay your bill or charge the total to your room, if staying at the hotel. The feeling was laid back and casual. It was a decent place to dine without having to leave the hotel. The only issue, if one would call it that, it that during lunch the hostess seated my acquaintance and I but didn't notify the server. After a long wait and watching others that arrived after us being served, I was able to get the attention of another server who then alerted our server that he had a table waiting. I'm sure that I'll be back at the Hilton for a future conference, so it is very likely that I'll dine here again. read more

We came in for lunch again during a conference. Service was efficient this time around but our server was frazzled. We started with the buffalo dip which was unique compared to traditional buffalo dip. I really enjoyed it and the pita was warm and soft. I had the poke bowl - fish was fresh and flavorful with edamame, cucumber, and seaweed salad. I asked for pickled slaw from the bahn mi on the side and it was very good!! Went there twice. Service with Miguel was exceptional. Over two days we got- Avocado toast (good seasoning but much better the first time, not a fan of the bread) Bagel and lox (delicious!) Pancakes- highly recommend Corned beef hash- highly recommend Fruit basket- the yogurt dipping sauce is out of this world! The basket is mostly melon I wish it was more variety or more of the other fruits but very good. Coffee and cappuccinos okay not amazing, they weren't super hot. read more

I recently visited Fast Break for lunch during a work event at the Hilton. I tried the Chicken Wings and Truffle Fries. The wings were tender and covered in a lightly spicy buffalo sauce. The fries were crisp with sprinkles of flavorful shaved parmesan. Overall, good quality bar food. read more

I was staying at the Hilton where FastBreak is at a couple of weeks ago so naturally this was an easy choice for us. To be honest I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. They have a nice, spacious indoor/outdoor area with HUGE screens that are great for watching sporting events. Indoors they also have really big booths that are very comfortable. My sis and I shared the BBQ plate and we loved it! All the meats were tasty and I also loved the sides. I really enjoyed the mac and cheese. The pretzel bread is also addicting! I've eaten more times than I care too at this sports bar themed restaurant at the Hilton Orlando. The service is hit or miss based on who you get. Sometimes it's quick and helpful and other times slow and painful. I've eaten a variety of things off the menu, but the majority of them are just boring and fine. Their salads are filled with iceberg lettuce, their burgers are overdone and lack in flavor. If you're staying at the convention center, this is an easy walk for a sitdown meal, but don't expect anything special. read more

My family and I are here for two days and at fast break for a second time. Our servers have been excellent . In particular Phil was attentive above and beyond for the amount of tables he was overseeing. Today was pretty busy but it's a Sunday morning in Orlando. We ordered the avocado toast, pancakes with bacon, and I had the Corned beef hash. Corned beef hash was my favorite as it was good sized pieces of cooked in house corned beef. Perhaps not everyone's choice if they like the canned but if you like authentic corned beef this was a winner. Super happy with the food and will be back next time :-) read more

We were here to watch the Washington versus Eagles game. This sports bar is located in the Hilton Orlando near the Orange County convention center. It's located on the far left and down one floor if you come in the main entrance to the hotel. If you park in self parking, head straight when you enter the hotel and you'll see the sign to go downstairs. You wouldn't find it unless you were looking for it. This is a large sports bar with multiple TVs everywhere, including outside area. The pretzel my husband ordered was huge and delicious. It came with a side of house made mustard and some other dip with smoked Gouda, pimento cheese and caramelized onions. They have a large variety of beers and cider. There's a list of about 20 different wines. One bad thing is there was at least five drinks on the menu they were out of. I had called ahead to try to get reservations and was told they were not accepting any more reservations that day. When we arrived, the restaurant was not even half full and we were able to get seated without an issue. The hostess said she wasn't sure why someone told me they weren't making any more reservations today. Oh well, try this place out if you're in the area and looking for a place to watch an event. Tip: self parking is $38 but if you spend more than $75, including alcohol, they will give you a voucher so you don't have to pay for parking. read more

The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a wide variety to choose from. They don't have grits so sad, but the chicken and waffles with bourbon syrup was delightful. They also have a menu to order from if you don't want the buffet. The service was incredible. Hospitality at its finest. read more

Breakfast here was pretty busy so definitely recommend coming down early to put your name in if there is a line. We waited about 10 minutes so it wasn't too bad. Overall, service was very friendly, our server was pretty funny, which helped make the morning more enjoyable. There were four of us, and we tried a variety of different things. All of us were pretty happy with our meals. I had the buttermilk pancakes, which came with strawberries and blueberries on top, dusted with a little bit of powdered sugar. The pancakes overall were pretty fluffy but a flour-y in taste so the syrup was a must. My friend tried the egg Sammy, which was reported as being very good and filling and cooked well. My other friend tried the omelette with mozzarella, spinach, mushrooms, and sausage. It was pretty big and she enjoyed it saying that it was not oversalted and the breakfast potatoes that accompanied it were also tasty. There is also a breakfast buffet that you can choose, which we decided not to because there was just way too many food choices and we were attending a conference and did not wanna overdo it. They were plenty of people going for the buffet and it did look like a pretty good deal if you wanted to get two meals in one. Ribs were good, stopped by here for late lunch. My issue was with the breakfast buffet, we were told the hours were until 11-am but they closed half an hour earlier without giving us last call before closing the doors to the food. The reasoning was because there weren't enough customers to keep it open. But we're we not customers? Policy sucked. We were only there for half an hour and I barely had any food because I had a baby with me. Manager grabbed me some cookies to go and said they can make whatever we wanted to eat, or they could grab whatever we wanted but we couldn't go back into the room anymore. This defeats the purpose of a buffet as we didn't remember what foods they had anymore and when we requested the port tarts, they didn't have anymore. They made us pancakes which we took to go. It was a buzzkill. The next day we went earlier and made sure wen wouldn't experience the same thing again. Another manager compensated me with Hilton points. Overall the breakfast was good , just not our experience. read more

FastBreak is a great place to meet up for a meal or drinks. It's spacious and beautifully appointed from the leather seats to the big screens. You can enjoy gorgeous pool views along the glass walls while watching your favorite sports on the oversized screens. The service is very good. Picked the hotel for the lazy river and pool. We always stay at a Hilton! After spending the day at the pool I already noticed the big TV's and was excited for some Saturday afternoon football. Sat down ordered my frosty beverage and asked bar staff to turn up a game, any game. "We don't do that here". Umm, ok... I asked why. They stated cause if someone isn't watching that game, don't want to distract them. Ma'am the music is distracting from all the games. Paid my bill and asked to speak with manager. He said the same thing. I asked him what about World Series tonight. Cause there will be football on then too. He said probably just play music. This is not how sports bars work!
