Opted for brussels sprouts which were extremely delicious. The arugula salad that came with the meal was also exceptional. I appreciated the considerations regarding allergies in preparation of my food. Trenton made sure to check with the Chef on any questions I had. The bar area was extremely lively with combinations of solo patrons and groups. The bar offered a full selection of liquor, beer and wine. Instead, he took drink orders from everyone else in our section, then took food orders from them. So about 35 minutes after being seated, we got drinks and menus. I was told they were out of the Scotch I ordered, so I said cancel it. We figured we had better put our food orders in. So about 20 diners, who were seated much later than we were, had drinks, ate their entire dinners, and paid their checks by the time our food came. Read on to see how I know this. I kept asking the server how much longer, he kept putting me off. Said soon. Got the food, ate, got the bill. Server didn't remove the Scotch from my bill! Had him reverse it, paid and left. Had really looked forward to this place. I wanted to go in, have a Scotch, order dinner, maybe have a beer and appetizers, probably dessert, in like an hour. This took 2 hours. And many mistakes. Elena was our server and brought a smile and fun attitude to our table as she welcomed us for brunch. She asked if we had been here before and my friend said she was here for dinner, but not brunch. Elena explained the menu and the process as well as the mimosa bar. She was conscientiously around to fill our water glasses, clear our plates and box up any leftovers we had while making sure not to disrupt our conversation. She did an amazing job! The brunch menu is quite extensive. You purchase items a la carte and a bottle of champagne (Nomine-Renard) is brought to your table in an ice bucket (if you are ordering mimosas). You can then go to the mimosa bar inside the restaurant to add a mixture of fresh fruit and juices (the blood orange is amazing!) We ordered several items and requested they not be brought all at once. Elena coordinated on the times we wanted, in an order that was acceptable to us (nice touch!) then brought us separate plates for sharing.
