Small, hole in the wall, quick service pizza place in downtown Orlando. I've been coming here since I was in college and I probably stop by anytime I have cocktails in downtown Orlando. Don't expect stellar customer service, expect to get served a good slice of pizza, quickly!

Tried a buffalo chicken slice along with a chicken bacon ranch slice and they were delicious. Each slice comes with a garlic knot, pretty cool. Service was great. They offer seating upstairs if you want to dine in, I got my slices to go. Gitto's has very good pizza!

Perfect spot for soaking up the alcohol for those in the area! We spotted the place during the day & said we knew we'd have to come later that evening ! It was PACKED! I liked that they had a small upstairs bar that you can go to. They even had some specials going on. It was very crowded but they was sure to try n keep the line flowing . For every pizza slice, they offered a garlic knot. I was too sleepy & forgot to eat mine though .

The complimentary garlic knots were an unexpected and appreciated bonus. The dough is flavorful and familiar--exactly what you want from a NYC-style slice. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch, and it delivered: not overly sauced (which is key, since ranch can easily overpower), perfectly cooked bacon, and solid chicken that didn't taste frozen or pre-made. Pizza is subjective, and this is just my experience--but it's important to judge Gitto's for what it is. This is New York grab-and-go pizza, not Italian, Chicago, Detroit, or a big chain like Papa John's. If you know the style going in and set your expectations accordingly, this place absolutely delivers.

Been here a few times and overall the pizza has been good. Definitely one of the better spots downtown but stay away after 10 when the clubs open. It gets a bit crazy inside. It has a nice sitting area upstairs with a little bar as well. It's a counter service pizza joint so it's basic service but it's easy to order from the display cabinet.

From the street, this place looks like a broom closet. It feels like you're standing in one as you are ordering your food, but don't fret. Just walk up the stairs and you will find a decent sized area to sit and eat. Or just take your slice to go and eat it on the sidewalk. I came with a fairly large group of mostly teenagers before a show at Dr. Phillips. I didn't expect much, but was pleasantly surprised with my veggie slice. Thin crust that was nice and crispy and hot and gooey on top, just as it's intended. The other members of my party that ordered slices with chicken were not impressed and ended up trashing what they ordered. I would personally come again because my slice was very good, but I may be going in alone.

Chicken Bacon Ranch: White Breast Chicken, Bacon, Ranch, and Mozzarella. Chicken Caprese: Chicken, Fresh Tomato, Basil, Balsamic Glaze, onion, Fresh mozz, Shredded parm. HUGE pizza slices with so much flavor! And the garlic knot was the perfect topper. However, it's really cramped on the first floor, and it does take a little bit to get the slice. Also, there's not great parking. BUT upstairs is a bigger area with lots of seating

Pretty good NY style pizza in downtown Orlando. Perfect for a quick drop by lunch which is what my coworker and I did or even as a pit stop during a downtown bar crawl, or before a concert/show near by. Space is very narrow and small in the main counter area so expect to just be in and out. I did their weekday pizza lunch special which was 2 pizza slices and a drink for $10.95. Well worth it in my opinion as my coworker and I had a slice each. You could also do one pizza slice and a drink for $6.95. Loved the flavor of my pizza and felt fresh as they reheated it in their pizza over per order and includes a garlic knot with every order.

While the guy taking our order was very kind I doubt I'd ever return here. It was a cute place to sit at after being out late downtown, but this expensive piece of pizza was bland and tasteless. The garlic knot came with it for free but it actually had no flavor at all. It tasted like barely cooked dough. This was very much so cardboard pizza. And for $6.25 a slice, I was hoping something a tiny bit better.

I have had the pizza before and it's been good. Today, I ordered a large with chicken. The sauce was awful. It was like they added water to make the sauce go further. Extremely disappointed and won't be ordering it again. Had meatballs as well and took a photo. You can see the water in the sauce!

Stopped in one night during the Immerse event. It was right next to one of the stages I was frequenting, and I wanted a quick slice, so in I popped. Ambiance was really fun. The thinnest place I've ever seen. Only room for two lines of people in the main area, one line for ordering, one line for picking up. Behind the counter was quite the operation. Pies being baked in one oven, being put on display, and then another oven jam packed with slices being warmed for the customer, along with their accompanying garlic knot. Every slice comes with a complimentary knot. I'm pretty sure I saw whole pizzas going out with eight included knots. The service was pretty good. Efficient, friendly enough workers. There was an aura of hurry up, what do you need, but with a line out the door literally all night, I do not blame them one bit. And the slice factory line got you in an out as quickly as it possible could. As for the slice itself, it was pretty ok. Good crust, foldable slice. Very cheesy, which is needed for most clientele who are in the middle of downtown in need of munchies. Slim toppings, though, and even after the heating process, the slice was kind of cold. Overall, for the convenience and the price, this place was good. I'll definitely come back under the right circumstances. read more

Unfortunately, I can't recommend Gitto's Pizza based on my experience. I understand they were very busy and there was a long line, but that didn't justify the way I was treated. I asked if they offered a military discount, and the employee told me they did. When I presented my military ID, he refused to apply the discount and then attempted to take my government-issued military ID out of my hand to inspect whether it was legitimate. That interaction really caught me off guard and made me uncomfortable. Regardless of the store's policy, there are more respectful and professional ways to handle that situation. I still purchased my food and ordered a standard cheese pizza, hoping the food would make up for the experience. Unfortunately, it was pretty average. The bottom of the pizza was pale and seemed undercooked, so it lacked the crisp texture I was expecting. The ambience, however, did seem really nice. They have upstairs seating that overlooks the street, which could make for a nice spot if you're dining in. Overall, I understand busy shifts can be stressful, but customers should still be treated with courtesy and respect. Better customer service and more consistency in the quality of the pizza would go a long way. Based on this visit, I don't see myself returning. read more

Pros: Ambiance was fun. Quick get em in get em out place that can get you your pizza in a hurry. The pizza was pretty ok. A nice thin crust, good amount of cheese, and plentiful toppings. Cons: That quick service left a little to be desired. The garlic knots were cold cold. Kind of wish they weren't there. Tips: Get super drunk before coming here. Downtown staple ... Large slices and so many options I always go for the white pizza and of course a garlic knot. I usually take to go but they have a large upstairs area to enjoy your pizza and also a small bar. Lunch specials are great you can get 2 slices with a drink and a garlic knot for under $12 I haven't yet tried the tiramisu but that's next . Definitely check out Gittos even better grap a late night slice! read more

Delicious pizza, but customer service has really fallen apart. I ordered mozzarella sticks with my pizza tonight and asked for ranch and was told okay, but when delivered all I got was red sauce and when I asked about it was made to pay an extra $1+ for the ranch. It was just the point...should of been told on ordering. I've been buying pizza from Gitos since 2017 and never been treated this way. They have great pizza, but need more caring staff. I'd give it some time but hopefully they can recover. read more

I just love holes in the wall. When going in, you havw a narrow walkway to get in. While I was there, it was soooooo busy. The slices are big. I had the lasagna pizza. Absolutely Yum . The pizza was hot and fresh. As busy it was there, I got my slice and a sweet tea in 6 minutes of ordering. Great choice wile at Proper Orlando three doors down. Happy Yelping! read more

JUST SAD AND HORRIBLE. We use to eat here all the time . Got a few slices that were the closest to a New York slice In all of Orlando. Craved this pizza. We moved away are in town on vacation . Ordered a lg pizza , got to the hotel , when I tell you it was absolutely disgusting pizza. Thick crust, sauce tasted off, cheese wasn't even melted, under cooked .it just broke our hearts . I guess good things don't last forever. read more

Best pizza in all of Orlando. Went to Cocktails Screams for Shrek Rave and got very hungry so decide to stop here. My friend had a slice of cheese and I swear it's the biggest slice of pizza I've ever seen in my life. He said it was really good at so next time we go I'm definitely gonna have to get a slice. They have ordering downstairs and seating upstairs. The service was really quick and really cheap. The ambience of this little pizza place is reminds me of an old-school pizza joint. 10/10 Definitely recommend read more

This is the best pizza spot ever. They are open late night and during the day and alwayyyys busy. The food is made fresh and top tier pizza!! Staff is great, ample seating up stairs, and fast casual dining. Take advantage of their Valentine's Day special, and definitely get their pizza puffs!!! They are to die for! read more

Workers were nice. The pizza was fine but just reheated from the glass. If you order something that has to actually be made, like a pasta dish, be ready to sit and wait. My wife got her pasta and mozzarella sticks after the three people who got pizza were done eating. read more

Came in specifically for their pizza skulls this season! (And of course... garlic knots!) Gitto's is a great downtown spot for a quick slice, and I like their seating area upstairs! The pizza skulls come in 3 different flavors - pepperoni and cheese, chicken bacon ranch, and Buffalo chicken. We got both pepperoni and Buffalo chicken, and while the pep was the crowd favorite, I appreciate that they did different flavors! The skulls are nice and soft and stuffed with a good amount of pepperoni. Worth checking out for spooky season! Eating 2 was filling, especially with the knots, which are tasty as well! Everyone was kind when I picked up my order. If you're not already out downtown, parking here can be a challenge, but I was luckily able to find a shirt-term spot right out front. read more

Sadly, this was a huge miss. * expensive * we ordered a Sicilian pie. $28.99 * wings $10.99 * cheese and sauce was horrible. Papa John's, or frozen pizza would have tasted better. * cheese tasted like imitation cheese * dough was too much * sauce had no real taste. Very disappointing! * wings- tasted just ok. Sadly this was a waste of money and since they are open late they were the best choice at the time. The garlic bread knots were not tasty. It was a very poor representation of NYC best pizza. The lasagna pizza was meaty and spectacular. The pic does it zero justice. It's a massive slice, NYC standard wide-wedge slice sitting across two paper plates! Wife devoured her Margherita pizza slice with glee. Among the best pizzas we've had in a long time. This joint has been open for 35 years in the same location. Wowza! Charming lady assisted with our order. Upstairs dining area gave us the retro NYC or Chicago dining experience, up a narrow stairway and into a wonderfully surprising, spacious eating area. We took the "window" seat and could look "down" over the edge and watch the pizza dough toss and prep. read more

Was in the downtown area for the Nude Nite event and wanted something quick to eat before heading home. See that the line wasn't too bad so we went in. Had a pepperoni and meat lovers pizza and it was as good as I remember from Years ago. The size of the pizza slice was good and fulfilling and it comes with a garlic knot. read more

Try and try 5 different times to order on line kept getting a opps something went wrong . Call the place got to different people telling that it was because they were closed at the time I was placing the order. By the way the system knows they were close that's why it ask you to schedule the delivery . Not helpful at all . Well they don't need my money. I don't need their pizza . We split a small portion of the fagottini pasta with pear and Gorgonzola cream sauce. It was the absolute best. It sounds like an odd flavor combo but it works. We both had the veal (their specialty) hubby had the veal picatta. I had the Marsala. Both very good. It came with a polenta fritter that was good, I'm not sure what was inside, it had a nice flavor, maybe pimentos? Even though tiramisu or crème brûlée is usually my go to if having dessert, we went for cannolis for a "lighter" option. Very good as well. The last one the list is ambiance. Beautiful tables, classy elegant restaurant, and tuxedoed waitstaff. Excellent!

Jorge is in appropriate, unprofessional and a pervert . I live in downtown and come to gittos with my children minimum 2 times a week . This is the third time I hear him making in appropriate remarks and gestures to females right in front of the line !!! I asked to talk to a manager it turns out he is the manager. Outstanding Pizza and Service! This small local pizza shop is a gem! The food was absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked crusts. What truly made the experience special was the exceptional service from Jose Carlos and Jose Luis. They were not only welcoming but went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt taken care of. I would first like to thank the phenomenal staff @ Gitto's. From the time I placed the order to the time everything was delivered, their team was so pleasant and so helpful. We ran into a small snafu, but Orlando & Alyssa didn't skip a beat and went above & beyond to make everything perfect! We were feeding an office staff of 225 people - ordered 30 jumbo pizzas, 8 jumbo salads and 29 dozen cookies. Everyone raved about the food and ate almost all of it! Thank you, Gitto's! Although I miss Gino's Pizza, as it was a staple of my downtown experience, I give Gitto's two thumbs up! The size of a pizza slice is perfect - not too big that I can't finish it, but not too small that I need 2-3 slices to be satisfied. The interior is nice and clean, and the sauce doesn't come out of a can! They make their own sauce and use fresh ingredients. I am so happy that I can still go downtown and get great pizza after a long night of clubbing. I will definitely be coming back for more! read more

I ordered a large pepperoni pizza from Gitto's Pizza, and it came with garlic knots. The price was very affordable, especially considering the size and amount of food -- the slices were huge! The pizza was hot and fresh, with just the right amount of cheese and pepperoni. The garlic knots were soft, flavorful, and a nice bonus with the order. Delivery was right on time, no delays at all. I Went there to give them another shot. I was thinking that they must of gotten better after all the bad feedback around town. But No. My pizza could of been cooked more. And the slice i got tasted like it was cooked hours before. I just keep hoping that this new spot gets their act together like Geno's did. They hire security guards that decide to choke and slam people to a point where they're nearly unconscious, for no good reason, and try to get away with it... so be very careful if you still decide to go here. Their customer service is also absolutely awful and you typically have to wait over an hour and half for mediocre food. read more

Don't even try it. The pizzeria that was there previously was truly the best. This place tries to get away with multiple tvs, horrible service, and pizza that's been in their display for a looong time. Drunks and drug addicts seem to fancy the place, since Gittos' bathrooms get used for questionable purposes. read more

Don't Blamed me for your mistakes. Don't take someone's order when you over sold. I politely Asked if they're still taking late orders and they said yes and took mine. Then they blamed me for taking the "last cheese slice" and told the other guest it was my fault. Not cool, not ok. read more

Literally the worst customer service ever! Said our pizza was on its way after we called when it didn't arrive after an 1.5 hour. Then we called again to check after 20 more minutes went by and he said they got backed up and he was getting it ready now.... HORRIBLE read more
