Went initially with family, on a Friday. 7pm reservation. Although busy, we were handled quickly. The food was fantastic and we were checked in on regularly. Three salads, an olive appetizer, two beers, bread, three pizzas, one dessert, all nailed perfectly. Server even checked in about our food allergies. Two months later, tried going with my fiance. 6:30pm reservation on a Sunday. We showed up ten minutes early, to try and be cordial in case it was busy again, like last time. We walked in to four full tables, and four that were clearly unbussed and still dirty. Three servers are handling the four tables. We're greeted, and the first thing we're asked is if we'd "be okay sitting at the bar?" We told them about our reservation, and we're asked to wait a few minutes... while the servers went back to their other customers. Immediate red flag. It's still loud and cold, inside, with the owner and two other BoH members handling food orders. After we told them again about our reservation, we asked if we could sit on the patio. Nodding at each other and pointing that none of the dirty tables inside still had been cleaned, whatsoever. The young server that finally sat us invited to go over the menu as she went to "find out who would be helping us, this evening." (It turned out to be her, with obvious reluctance on her face.) We then waited ten minutes, with room temperature water and another couple eating takeout pizza, directly from the box, five feet away from us... On a night we both had planned for weeks. She inevitably came back, and we Immediately told her we needed to leave. There's no reason why three servers can't handle that lax of a clientele volume, while also bussing their own tables. If you're dropping around $30 a person on dinner, with the literal business owner present behind the counter, that level of blatant laziness shouldn't even be possible. We'll try again on a day expected to be busy. They clearly need some fire under their asses, and it's not coming from where it should be. read more

Great spot! I took myself and my four year old on a date here. They were kind to my child and offered coloring items to her. The meatballs were served quickly and were a hit! We also ordered a half cheese half pepperoni pizza which came mouth fast and also a hit! They had apple juice for her and sparkling water for me and we genuinely had such a nice time. Pizza Bruno on Curry Ford is my favorite pizza spot in Orlando. It's locally owned, and the original Curry Ford location has always been the most consistent. With full service and both indoor and outdoor seating, it's a place I find myself coming back to often. They have a takeout section as well. The vibe I would say is eclectic. The famous knots with the kale salad are a must. Add any traditional or specialty pizza, and you've got an incredible meal. Mondays are even better because they offer select whole pies for $10, such a great deal for a quality pizza. I've tried other menu items, but I always come back to the pizza, kale salad, and knots. That's what they do best in my opinion and it's exactly what I'd recommend to anyone visiting for the first time. read more

Had a few new-to-us pizzas on our last visit and had to share! Of course the garlic knots remain a highlight and some of the best in Orlando, and we never skip them! This time we also got a NY style pepperoni, and it was awesome! Just as good as the woodfired pizza and a great size to share. Absolutely delicious! I wanted to find a nice outdoor patio that I could enjoy a pizza with my dog and I'm happy I went to pizza bruno. As soon as I sat outside, somebody greeted me. I appreciated it because I wasn't sure if I needed to go inside to let somebody know I sat down. Our server was super friendly and even offered a water bowl for my dog. Looking over the menu, I wasn't really sure what to get and our server recommended the tight socks, pizza and the garlic knots. She definitely pointed us in the right direction. I absolutely love the garlic knots although I wish they tasted a little bit more fresh and warm- the garlic taste was out of this world. Once I tried the sauce, I knew pizza was gonna be great (and it was!) I decided to also put in an order for the meatballs. The meatballs and the pizza came out there roughly around the same time. The meatballs were so great. I even forgot to take a picture. The outdoor patio at the time was very quiet and conveniently shaded because of the time of the day. Although I can't say that the chairs were the most comfortable for a pregnant woman, I did really enjoy my time outside with my dog. We arrived around 5:45 and were seated at the far end. Others arrived after us and were waited on very quickly. A male server walked by several times but didn't pay us any mind so maybe we weren't his table. We waited almost 10 min with no acknowledgement from anyone. My friend finally went up to one of the girls who seated us to ask about getting waited on and then she finally came over to take our order, trying to hide her attitude. The full Emperor salad was huge, delicious and came out quickly. The pizza was fairly quick as well but it hardly had anything on it and it was $23!! You can even see the sauce in several spots without cheese, i was lucky if I had one piece of sausage and 1-2 mushroom slices on each slice. My friend's pizza has quite a bit on hers though. The restaurant has dim lighting and is loud at the time of day we came, but we were still able to hold a conversation. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest. Stopped into Pizza Bruno after a very long time for some lunch. It was a Saturday afternoon and it was only about half full. We ordered a pizza to share and of course, garlic knots. If you don't know what I mean by that, the garlic knots are piled high with a ridiculous amount of cheese and enough garlic to give you bad breath for a week. They're so delicious! We found out they do brunch with $20 unlimited mimosas and they have happy hour on the weekends too. I really wanted to love Pizza Bruno because the atmosphere and concept are great, but unfortunately we had a disappointing experience during our visit and will not be coming back. We ordered two pizzas, and one of them was supposed to be a white sauce pizza according to the menu. We also substituted the Italian sausage for meatballs due to a religious reason. The first pizza came out fine, but the second pizza took a very long time. After we flagged down our server she came over and explained that the pizza had accidentally been boxed up and sent out as someone else's to-go order, so they had to remake it. After waiting even longer, about 1 hour and 30 minutes, we stopped another server and asked if we could just take the pizza to go. When the pizza finally arrived, it had red sauce instead of white sauce and still had sausage instead of meatballs. We politely explained that the menu showed it as a white sauce pizza, and the response we received was, "Geez, did you guys study the menu before you came in?" We told them we had simply read the menu while sitting at the restaurant. A manager then came over and said, "Guys, it's pizza, it's supposed to have red sauce. All pizzas have red sauce." When we informed her that on the menu it was clearly marked with a green dot for white sauce, she replied back with attitude and said "that means vegan." We then pointed out that many pizzas use white sauce and asked to look at the menu together. The menu clearly showed that the pizza we ordered was marked as a white sauce pizza, while vegan pizzas were marked separately with a leaf symbol. After asking again for the menu, the manager checked and realized the mistake and we overheard, "Ohhh, the kitchen fucked up." To their credit, they removed the pizza from our bill, which we appreciated. Mistakes happen, and we completely understand that. What disappointed us most was the way the issue was initially handled and communicated. We were left completely astonished by the rude comments and lack of respect. By the end of the night, we had spent a long time waiting, left hungry, and unfortunately didn't feel very welcomed at all. read more

The pizza is available in 1 size, a big personal sized pizza. The crust was incredible, chewy, light & flavorful. I loved the outside crust so much! I wish the dough's tip section was firmer. It had great toppings. I didn't finish it all at once, & the next day I put some of the red juicy tomato salad & burrata on the leftover slice. It was still really delicious.
