This is my favorite pizza in the entire city. Usually I call ahead and get takeout but I have eaten in the restaurant as well and it was a very enjoyable experience with great service. On a nice evening it's great to sit outside and people watch added benefit is it's only 2 blocks to Lake Eola so you can walk off the calories. The thing that makes this pizza my favorite is that the crust is thin and it has the perfect amount of cheese on it. But the sauce is the best I have ever had. I normally like toppings on pizza but with Anthony's I want plain cheese so I can savor the perfection
I came here with one of my girlfriends for dinner because the restaurant we wanted to go had an hour wait and parking was impossible to find in the area, so we decided to go with Anthony's because of their private lot. We should've went elsewhere. The server was very nice and considerate, but the food was not good. My friend was feeling unwell because she hadn't eaten much that day, so asked for their soup of the day. The server brought it put within a few minutes, which was unexpectedly fast. She took one bite, then passed it to me to try. It tasted terrible and was cold even though it had just been brought out. (The server did take that off the bill). She also ordered the bruschetta, which was also all cold. I took a piece and the bread which should have just been toasted was cold like it just came out of the fridge, as well as the tomato and mozzarella. For myself, I ordered the mushroom truffle pasta. I ate it because I was hungry, but it was not sitting well as the night went on. It could be that I'm not used to eating pasta and maybe that's why my stomach was fighting digesting it, but who knows. There are better places to eat in Thornton Park, so I'll be skipping this restaurant in the future.
Okay, firstly, not our first time here. The food here is really good. Service is always great. We stopped in and sat at the bar, very nice and quiet. I received their email that told me about their fall specials. A Thanksgiving Stromboli with turkey, stuffing, cranberry, and gravy.... That's right up my alley. So that is what I ordered, we also got a small pizza. The pizza was great, of course. The Stromboli was HUGE, and I expected it to be, it still can shock you when it comes out The Stromboli was everything you would think it was. Very good. Overall, we come here often and have always had a great time. Definitely check it out if you can.

"What I Ordered vs What I Got" I ordered a simple Chicken Palermo with chicken, shrimp and broccoli. You know, the red/orange ziti pasta? Well, I received an ALL WHITE meal, I wish I knew what flavor it was. It was disgusting. Chicken was raw, the shrimp was weirdly salty, and the spaghetti pasta was barely soaked. Just hard. Shouldn't be an issue to just call and get it straightened out with simply getting my correct order, right? No lol wrong. The woman who answered the phone gave me attitude because I told her my order was wrong and was simply wondering if I could retrieve my CORRECT order. "Well no, I put the right order out and it was sent out" in the most condescending tone. The attitude continued as I continued to explain, very disheartening as I was starving too. She didn't even apologize or say bye at the end of the call, just hung up. Disappointing because this was my second time ordering, I wanted the same experience I had my first time around. I just knew I'd be a loyal customer with 95 orders within three months. Work on it! Your 1-Star reviews are growing and it doesn't have to be that way!
My daughter and I visited Anthony's tonight, and it was quite the treat! We started with the cheese garlic knots, which were only $6.99 and absolutely delicious. I ordered the honey hot wings and a mushroom appetizer. The wings were some of the best I've ever had--perfectly cooked with great flavor. The mushroom appetizer was interesting? The seating was comfortable, the service was fast and attentive, and overall it was a very enjoyable dining experience. We'll definitely be back!
My son and I had limited time to eat before a show, so I called in advance to see if we could place an order (or get a pizza started for us) before we arrived to sit down and eat. While they stated normally they don't, especially on a weekend, Savannah accommodated us. Not only was the pizza ready for us just a few moments after sitting down, but her service was impeccable. My son, a pizza connoisseur, believes this is a top 5 pizza in Central Florida, and though it was our first time trying it, I don't disagree at all. Thank you so much for the food and friendly service, Savannah.
This place has been consistent when it comes to food. Garlic knots are fresh and tasty. The sweet garlic topping not too greasy. The turn around was fast for the appetizer. Placed an online order for pickup; easy and simple. Went to pickup and the restaurant is cute and clean. The staff was nice except for one young lady behind the counter that seemed annoyed. The restaurant is walking distance from Lake Eola. Their pizza is delicious. My boss only buys pizza from them. He calls the the big pizza chains fake, and will only eat pizza from Anthony's. He said that is as close to Italian as you can get. My apologies for not taking pics of the piz

This was a perfect dinner spot before a Magic game! Since we were there during happy hour, we tried the meatball sliders and fried ravioli from the happy hour food menu. Both were excellent, and of course it's always a bonus to have food options on the happy hour menu for parties that include members who can't drink! We also had the Chicken Palermo which our server recommended. It was absolutely delicious-- very flavorful and thick sauce, pasta cooked to perfection, and juicy chicken throughout. Our server was fantastic. Super friendly, attentive without being overwhelming, and so thoughtful with the whole experience. We sat in the outdoor seating which was lovely (& covered to protect you from whatever Florida elements are present at the time you go). It had a casual yet nice vibe which we really enjoyed and reasonable prices for the quality of food and atmosphere. We will absolutely be back!

This place is highly rated by locals but we've never gone here as we always thought it was more of a sports pub. Decided to give it a shot on a Friday evening for early dinner. It's in Thornton Park so parking can be tricky at times. We got the $6 crispy ravioli on Happy Hour, the calamari, and the veal marsala which included a generous service of two garlic knots. The food was tasting, satisfying, and best of all, cheap! Won't find many places around this area that offer this much value for solid Italian-American food, would come again. read more

I came here with one of my girlfriends for dinner because the restaurant we wanted to go had an hour wait and parking was impossible to find in the area, so we decided to go with Anthony's because of their private lot. We should've went elsewhere. The server was very nice and considerate, but the food was not good. "What I Ordered vs What I Got" I ordered a simple Chicken Palermo with chicken, shrimp and broccoli. You know, the red/orange ziti pasta? Really solid experience! It was my first time coming here and I definitely wasn't disappointed. We opted to sit inside because of the heat, but outside definitely seemed like it would be more enjoyable. Super generous portion and really good price. Had brunch at Anthony's in Thornton Park and had a great experience! It was a slow morning, which made for excellent, attentive service. Ali, our bartender and waitress, was awesome--friendly and super helpful. We went for the bottomless mimosas at just $18 per person, which is a fantastic deal. To start, we had the ricotta meatballs--absolutely delicious! For entrees, we ordered the half chicken parmesan and Philly cheesesteak subs. While the Philly cheesesteak wasn't my favorite (just a personal preference--I wanted to try something new), the pasta salad it came with was incredible. So flavorful! Only downside is that parking can be a bit tricky in the area, but that wouldn't stop me from coming back. Definitely planning to return! read more

Edit: if you can dine in, go to Anthony's Thornton park!!! - there are two parking lots dedicated to the buisness. The one on the right is easiest to park in IMHO - Bridgette is a treasure. She made certain our family was well cared for and that everything was on point. Couldn't be happier with the service - they have a bar area, and indoor/outdoor covered dining. EXTREMELY family friendly. High chairs, booster seats, menus with crayons to keep toddlers entertained, and a friendly knowledgeable staff. A++ for kids. - their upside down pizza is quite tasty. Reminds me of a west philadelphia danger pie. Saucy on top. I recommend adding red pepper flakes for an extra bite. Also it was perfectly crisp. - chicken picatta is my #1 recommendation. It's the best picatta I've had yet in Orlando. - the mussels were fresh and absolutely bathed in a white wine broth. Get extra garlic knots to enjoy that broth! - their cannolis are made in house and filled fresh. We had the Nutella cannoli and we just about locked the plate clean. It's a can't miss dessert. Get it. You won't be disappointed. I recommend trying for earlier seating as this place filled up by 7pm. Super sad to be making this one star review. I have just moved to Orlando and I have ordered from Anthony's 3 times. Their chicken piccata is quite good. However I called tonight before posting this review and the dismissive-ness I was met with on the phone before they hung up to take another call was noteworthy. 1) Their vegetable side dishes. They charge 1$ an ounce. That means 1$ per floret of broccoli. The spinach is definitely not an entire side portion. 2) Their pizza is way underdone. Definitely does not hold up to a New York fold. 3) the salmon smelled quite fishy when I opened it. I honestly haven't tried it. 4) the kids spaghetti and meatballs comes with one single meatball. I think the portion is good but my kid wouldn't eat it. The picatta is good. Could use more lemon. I hate posting low reviews, which is why I usually call first to give every restaurant a chance to fix what could be a simple mistake. On the phone they said that this was all intentional and 'what did I expect when I ordered from Uber eats'. Maybe you get better service in person, but if you are a mom of littles like me and ordering for your kids this is not your best option. read more

I tried the veggie pizza from Anthony's Thornton Park location and took it to go. The service was super fast and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I got medium (which imo would comfortably serve 2-3 people). I received my pizza in less than 15 minutes after ordering at the counter. The flavor of the pizza was great, but I gave it 3 stars as the middle of the pizza was so thin that it just fell apartment when I tried to tear each piece off. A lot of the toppings, cheese and all, peeled off when I would tear off a piece. Closer to the crust the pizza held its form and the toppings much better. If you like super thin pizza then this is the place for you, but I personally prefer a bit of a more structured pizza. The ambiance was standard pizza place. I'll save you the thought process... JUST GO! first of all super cute patio section. Absolutely loved sitting outside, very well covered, fans blowing, decorated nicely, and also it's spacious( doesn't seem like we're all sitting on top of each other) our Server Olivia was super sweet, quick and observant. Def req for her! Ok so on to the food... Started with Mozzarella sticks and garlic Knots and honey honey ( in my Beyoncé voice ) the garlic knots I could eat all day!!!! The pizza I was a little nervous but the " Meat combo " was really good!!!!! ( def check the videos and pictures ) The picky kids got chicken tenders and fries and I may or may not have taken some of the fries and a bite of chicken when they were looking ( also good fries hot and fresh ) Also had a drink menu just didn't get anything. Lemon drop looked good. They also have indoor seating. And a BAR AREA inside that felt like a secret club lol My ONLY take away was the parking. Super tight and only but so many spaces. Overall though HIGHLY RECOMMEND read more
My wife and I decided to try Anthony's Pizzeria, and it did not disappoint. Since it wasn't too busy, we sat inside. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. I asked to keep the drink menu for a bit, and while she was fine with it, a manager came by to take it a couple of minutes later, which felt a bit odd. We ordered the garlic knots, and for an extra charge, we could add mozzarella on top--highly recommended! Our waitress suggested dipping them in Alfredo sauce, which was an amazing addition. For the main course, I had the lasagna, and it was delicious. If you're looking for tasty Italian food, I definitely recommend giving Anthony's a try. read more

I was in the area for the Full Moon Mercado and wanted something to eat. Service was great, we were able to get seating outside which was perfect. I thought the brutal heat would've killed us, but it didn't at all. It was actually very nice outside and plenty of breeze. So many yummy menu options, we decided to go with pizza and wings and both were very tasty. If you are looking for pizza in the Thorton Park area. I would say give this place a try! My friend and I decided to do some Sunday day drinking and stopped in about 3pm to watch the baseball game and to try some drinks and pizza. I will say that I was pleasantly surprised! The waitress was very friendly. Service took a little long but overall she was nice and the place was decently busy. The drinks came out and we then ordered our pizza. I loved the pizza we got. It was an upside down pizza which I guess is unique to them and wow. It was one of the best pizzas I have ever had. I will come here to try more of their pizzas and other food and drinks. I love Thorton Park and am glad that I get to add this restaurant to one of my new favorites in the area. read more
Anthony's is always a solid meal experience in Thornton Park. The staff is uber friendly and get you in and out quickly, meaning there is never much of a wait. The outside area is great and a perfect spot for a nice meal when the weather cooperates. However, there isn't tons of room inside, so it does feel a bit cramped when the dining room is full. Of all the things I've gotten, the pasta is a bit heavy for the warm weather in Orlando, but they are very good. I'll definitely be sticking with the meatball sub for any future visits. The taste is great and it's not too heavy for me to take on the world. read more

This has been a long awaited brunch; Stop in the cute boutique across the street if you are early for a reservation! It was a quiet, windy Sunday so the outdoor seating was great. I got started with the bottomless mimosas which were served by the bottle (our favorite) and small carafes of orange juice and grenadine to make "cherry bomb" mimosas. Much easier on the servers than having to refill my glass every few minutes ;) The Italian benedict was outstanding. The base is crostini, topped with prosciutto, pico, pesto hollandaise, and balsamic drizzle. A huge side of potatoes on the side to soak up any leftover sauce (and mimosas). The pizza was also great, not too greasy, good crust, all of the above. The prices were super reasonable ($15 for bottomless, $13 for my benedict), definitely good for a group or anyone on a budget. But you still get high quality food, high QUANTITIES, and the atmosphere of Thornton Park. Several dogs on the patio and plenty of opportunity for people watching on the street. read more
We came for dinner the other night and sat on their patio which luckily wasn't too hot. The portion sizes and service were great and the pizza was especially awesome. They also have great garlic knots but keep in mind, you get a couple with your entree so you may be able to skip ordering them for your appetizer. read more

We ordered meatballs (3 large) as a starter, then split the truffle mushroom pasta & 12" bacon truffle pizza (6 slices). The patio is dog friendly with 3 televisions to watch the game. Food was top notch as was the service. We came early on a Sunday. There is parking but it's limited. Ambiance was very nice, some street noise but not too bad for downtown read more

Came here on a Monday night with the fam to try this place out. We decided to try something new and get the upside down pizza pie, 16in. It's basically built with the cheese and toppings first then sauce on top. I was suprised by how much basil and fresh garlic it had - my highlight was their pizza. If you like a more saucy pizza you'll enjoy this; and it's a pretty cool way to change it up. My gripe though is with the wings, we got the hot buffalo wings and lemon pepper. The hot buffalo was very mild though and the lemon pepper needed more tang could hardly taste the zest but we came hungry so the appetizer did come on time. But my gripe came that we we had to pay 5 bucks extra to do both flavors and pay for the 5 and 5 amount instead. We even asked if half could be plain since we weren't sure my son could take the spice but it was still a no. Didn't really get the logic on that.. Anyway we also ordered their mozzarella sticks. I think it came with 3 or 4 but they're huge. As for the taste I dk if it was because it was pretty late but whatver it was fried in made it have a strange after taste so I didn't end up eating that. Great little pizza shop that serves much more than just pizza! Anthony's offers indoor/outdoor seating, takeout, delivery, online ordering, and a convenient location in Thornton Park. There is a private parking lot with minimal spaces and there are street parking options in the area. Pizza is NYC style with phenomenal flavor and texture. Love this place! read more

I like Anthony's! I love the location it's in the perfect spot to grab a bite before going out in Thornton park or if you live close. We had the extravaganza, which is basically like a supreme pizza. Super great! Came on a Saturday night and it was extremely packed. The bar area was nice and cozy and service was great! Beer was cold and the pizza was hot. Overall I'd say the quality was great. Split the pizza between 2 and it was more than enough! read more
