    Hot honey pepperoni pizza
    Ariana M.

My boyfriend and I ordered the hot honey pepperoni pizza to share. From the first bite, I knew I was in for something extraordinary. The combination of cheese, spicy pepperoni, and sweet honey drizzle was nothing short of AMAZING. The owner exuded an infectious energy that added to the overall experience. Her passion for their craft was palpable, and it made the interaction enjoyable. Despite the bustling atmosphere, our pizza was ready very quickly. We ate our pizza at Ivanhoe Brewing Company, after a several mile walk on the Orlando Urban Trail. Of all the food vendors we encountered, Pizza Slut was our favorite.

Now this is what I call a garlic knot! They were smothered in so much garlic and the bread itself was crunch, fluffy and buttery! I am in love with how much garlic they got onto these knots This pop-up utilized a buzzer to let you know when your food was ready, which I really liked. It let us explore a bit while we were waiting for the food to be ready. It was a super busy night, but considering, the food still came out pretty quickly! I look forward to another event where I can try the pizza as well!

My friend recommended this pop-up a LOOOOONG time ago but I had never made it. I finally did at one of the TPD Night Markets near Lake Eola. When we walked up to the counter the gal there was very friendly. The menu was Barbie themed and we ordered the "Welcome to the Barbie Dream House" and "I'm Kenough" because the descriptions sounded flavorful and interesting. We were given a buzzer for when our pizza is ready since they are made fresh which is awesome and in the meantime checked out the rest of the vendors at the night market. It was such a good vibe! The pizzas were colorful and fresh and flavorful in completely different ways. Highly recommend you try at least once. I'm looking forward to catching The Pizza Slut again at another pop-up and peeping a different menu of pizzas.

Hands down the best pizza I've ever had in my life. Great selection, fast time getting the pie made, and a hot chick making the pizza!

The ambiance was great as Pizza Slut was working outside at Red Bull Double or Nothing Wakeboarding competition. It was hot & humid yet the Pizza Slut team kept going until the end of the event. One might ask; how great can pizza really be at an outdoor festival? Well let me just tell you it was excellent. From the fresh dough ball formed right in from of you to the fresh ingredients, it was not going to get any better than being in an air-conditioned kitchen with larger ovens. They had about 5 different tried and true traditional pizzas to choose from and the quality of the fresh ingredients gave that pizza such a great fresh flavor. See my pic below, I had to try a slice prior to offering my review!

Pizza was burnt. It had good flavor on the not burnt pieces, but overall tasted burnt and smokey. Employees there were nice and friendly.

The vibe is very small and intimate run entirely by a husband and wife staff of two. They had 5 parties dining at the same time and seemed to be their only searing for the Friday evening. The wife was our server and was super friendly. They had reached out to me ahead of time due to my crustacean allergy originally saying one of the courses was shrimp which they had no substitute for and so I asked if I could double up on something else and they said they would see what they could do. Not only did they have a substitute (we got to be the first ones to try a brand new chicken dish) but they made sure everyone at the table also got a serving. The meal was 3 courses made up of 5 dishes and they had a 3 and 5 wine glass pairing. The shrimp were huge and I loved the crunch kernels in the salad. The chicken was juicy and had a nice kick. The steak was so tender and the mushrooms were crunchy and flavorful. The sauce in the dessert was also surprisingly flavorful. The meal took a couple of hours and the portion sizes were pretty large for a tasting menu!

The only time available for reservation is at 7pm, and only a set number of tables are served at that time. We start with olives as the appetizer, which were surprisingly enjoyable, I normally hate olives but these taste more like olive oil rather than actual olives. Only thing was it was a little saltier than I would have liked. Next was the salad, which was one of the better dishes. It was light, refreshing, and different tastes and textures with the crunchy corn. For the proteins, overall lots of great flavors and is cooked to perfection. My only complaint, again, is that too much salt is used for my liking. The first bite is the best, but then you start to feel it, the need for water. Finally the dessert were picarones, fried sweet potato with a fruit syrup. I was not a fan of the donut to syrup ratio, theres way too much syrup, but at least it's a nice contrast of sweet and crispy golden on the outside, and soft and moist on the inside. I also liked the quantity of the food, had leftovers to take back which is a lot for a Michellin star restaurant.

They did still have the giant beef rib when we arrived. But at $36 a rib, we opted to go with the pork ribs instead. Each of the general protein servings is a half pound. So we ended up with a portion of the pork rib, the pulled pork and the pork belly. The pork ribs was really good, although my husband didn't like the glaze that they had on the rib but the meat was delicious. The pulled pork was very good not fatty, which is fantastic. The pork belly is cut into giant chunks. It is very tasty. It does have a decent amount of fat on it. This location also has a variety of sides to choose from. We opted for the collard greens and the mac & cheese. The collard greens were good. They could've been cooked a little bit longer. As some of the pieces were a bit crunchy. The mac & cheese was good although the cheese sauce felt a little gooey and we attributed to that they may use a rue to make their sauce. Overall - we enjoyed the food and would check them out again.

The service was top-notch. The restaurant itself is super cute and had a very warm ambiance (also pretty casual which was nice!). And the food... y'all I can see why everyone hypes this place up because it really is PHENOMENAL. The Richie Rich ramen is the best Ramen I have ever had. The broth was delicious. The meat was cooked to perfection and I was so happy to have leftovers for the next day. The wings were the best wings I've had in a very long time or probably even ever lol (no exaggeration because if you try them, you'll totally understand and agree with me). My friends and I dined in on Saturday night and showed up at 7PM to a two hour wait. Unfortunate, but so worth it. We headed upstairs to the neighborhood bar and got an appetizer and a drink while we waited. We only ended up having to wait maybe an hour and a half for our table at Domu. The service was insanely quick and immediately after ordering our first appetizer came within five minutes. They really know what they're doing here. Whoever was on the aux this evening, 10 out of 10. The music was amazing and the vibes of the restaurant were immaculate. We ordered the cheezus, their signature wings, and the patatas bravas. I understand why they are the best way in Orlando! They were crispy and sweet and flavorful. The potatoes were delicious and the sauce that came with it paired perfectly. I believe it was topped with a crispy quinoa, which was a really nice touch. I can't really do cheese so I didn't try the cheezus, but my friends loved it and said it was delicious. Our server gave me a rundown of his favorite chicken ramens and I ended up choosing the yuzu shoyu ramen. It was nice and full of citrus. I love the eggs that come with the ramen, and he very kindly brought out another egg for me as well as a brûlée egg. I've never tried a Brulé egg in my life and it was so interesting and delicious! Basically a crème brûlée egg!! 10s across the board. I can't wait to come back for more.
