Updating to include a wing review... I start this by saying eating wings in Buffalo ruined basically all the local Orlando wing spots. Nothing compared. Black magic is really the closest I've come to getting that super crispiness without drying out the wing. Sauce was amazing. Also - adding the garlic ricotta dollops to the cheese pizza is a MUST TRY. Wow. Next level stuff. Black magic has very quickly become my new go to. Best pizza in Orlando.
Wow don't sleep on this place. Yes it's a pizza place and they have super friendly service and excellent pizza. The big surprise was don't sleep on the poutine. Wow it was amazing. These are not french fries but a potato variation with a firmer texture or a different flavor profile while still using the essential squeaky cheese curds and savory gravy. The Large pizza was definitely large too much for 2 people so next time we are planning on each doing a 12" individual to be able to try different ones. Actually I might just get the poutine as that was a meal in itself. They are set up for take away but there are 2 tables outside or you can take you food into Whiskey Lou's to enjoy with a beverage. (friendly reminder Whiskey Lou's is cash only)
Incredible simple to order online and pick up at the carryout window. Communicate clearly once your order is ready for pick-up. We had the Cheezus 12-inch and added the garlic ricotta dollops on to it. Incredible addition might I add. Not pictured but we also had the Three Neat Deep 12-inch pizza also adding the garlic ricotta dollops. The crust was cooked to perfection; it had a light char to it that you want from a thin style pizza. All of the toppings tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful. Honestly one of the best pizza places I've ever eaten if not the best.
OMG ! Best pizza in Orlando award ! This pizza is top tier lol no exaggeration. I've tried this pizza 5 times when I'm lucky to be in the Mills area. So delicious and great tasting ingredients. The gentleman at the window are always so sweet and ready to help you pick the perfect size and type . Easy to to talk to. Food comes out hot and delicious to the point of burning your tongue ! Great ambiance and vibes on Mills . Thanks for the great food '
1st time eating Black Magic pie. The crust was outstanding. Crispy and crunchy the way I like it. The arrugala was not at all wilted. Very fresh topping on the pizza. Great tasting mushrooms. This restaurant is takeout only.
First time at this location, we had a pepperoni pizza with hot honey sauce and it was delicious. Customer services a walk up window with a varied menu that you could order from pizza to poutine wings. Anything you need they have and they're very willing to help you customize your menu. It's outside seating. It's quiet for being next to a road. I thought it was very nice. I will be going back and recommend checking it out.
This is a great little pizza shop. We ordered the Hornets Nest, the mozz sticks and the poutine. The pizza stands out. Amazing ingredients. The sauce is very slightly sweet and just tangy enough to not be overpowering. Not smothered with cheese so the toppings stand out. And hot honey belongs on any pizza in my opinion. The mozz sticks are up there with the best I've ever had. Extremely crispy outside (like actually crispy, not that crumble breading that you generally see. And a great cheese pull. These are something you would get on a boardwalk in the NE, if you've been there. And the poutine was an amazing take. Thick French fries with a savory gravy and cheese curds. It's really hard to mess up. I like my fries this way (not too crispy) and this really hit the spot.
Listen... I'm that kinda of girl that doesn't eat the crust cause it doesn't do much for me, but this crust right here let me tell you I almost fought my husband for it hahaha it was so good! A little bit pricy but you can tell the ingredients they use are the best so it's worth it. Give it a try if you want some good pizza We got the pepperoni & regular cheese 8.4 on the pizza ratings for me!
This is my new favorite pizza. I had the Coheed & Calabria and everything about it was right and good, well balanced toppings and sauce coupled with a crispy thin crust with the right amount of char. I also had an order of the buffalo sauced wings, they were also top tier. I try and support small local businesses and when you find one that offers great food, great service, and fair prices, why wouldn't you go there? Lou's is a fantastic spot to people watch also, so throw in great entertainment too.
Great food. Amazing customer service upon placing the order to pick up. Very friendly staff as well. On my partner and mines first visit they even gave us a free cannoli which was a very nice thing to see/experience. In the same parking lot was a great seating area with a great ambiance well equipped to sit and eat and enjoy your time
Now, I ONLY had the mozzarella sticks but they were super yummy. A very crispy outside and a divine cheeseness on the inside. The marinara to dip was good too. Driving past this place I almost didn't even see it. It's just a walk up window with a sign out front. I'm so looking forward to ordering from here in the very near future!
Now this place right here is the best of the best! If you're looking for the absolute best pizza in Orlando, look no further! From their great service to their delicious wings and of course even better pizza, you just can't top this place! Have tried their Cheezus Pizza (Pictured) which is topped with Basil, Whole Milk Mozzarella, Fresh Mozzarella and Olive Oil which is absolutely amazing. Their Dr. Pepperoni Pizza is just as good which is topped with Cupped Pepperoni's, Whole Milk Mozzarella, Fresh Mozzarella and I can't forgot their spicy maple swirl sauce which knocks it out the park! The crust is also made of Sour Dough which is cooked perfectly fluffy yet crispy. Now their wings, the Hot Honey BBQ wings are hands down some of the best wings I've ever had! The perfect mix of spicy and sweet. If you're in Orlando and haven't tried this place I HIGHLY recommend it.
Why is this my first time having this pizza ???? I haven't heard much about this place before ordering. I took a chance after searching posts from that one foodie forum. I placed an order for pepperoni, sausage, mushroom and extra cheese and garlic knots. The pizza looked great and tasted even better. Those garlic knots were extremely good as well. They were steaming hot right out of the box. Still pillowy and garlicky!!! I am so glad we took a chance on you Black Magic !!! read more

One of my favorite pizza now, order their tuscan leather pizza with garlic ricota base, mozarella, cherry tomatoes, spinach and balsamic drizzle. Pizza is so flavorful and crispy. Great and fast customer service. Did a pick up order, since they are pickup/ window spot rather than more traditional sit down pizza restaurant. read more

Possibly my favorite pizza in Orlando bc of the toasty burnt bits and crisp crust. I can't ever say no to buffalo chicken pizza, and this one is absolutely delicious. The crust is thin and crispy everytime and the chicken, ranch swirl and added sesame seed crust just hits the spot. These do take a while to be ready, so I recommend placing your order in advance for pickup, or if you're feeling social and/or want to hangout for a little, place your order at the window, and bring cash to get a drink at Whiskey Lou's while you wait! They allow food inside, so once it's ready you can feast and have good, cheap drinks read more

i tried black magic pizza when they did a pop up at the winter park biscuit company anniversary celebration! they had a few vegan pizzas at the pop-up, so me and my friend figured we'd try them all. the pizzas came out pretty fast from when we ordered them! i was impressed with the speed. the three pizzas we ended up ordering were the vegan mary, the earth crisis, and the dr pepperoni. i liked how they were very different from one another, and that each pizza had its own unique twist! they were all very tasty, albeit a little more expensive than i expected. either way, i'm glad i tried their vegan pizzas and will likely order from their main location in the future :) read more

I love this spot sooooo much, very kind staff and the best pizza in orlando. They have some great vegan options as well. Walk up window with minimal outdoor seating, but you can bring food over to Whiskey Lou's or Sideward Brewing (i believe). The weekly specials are awesome. read more

Phenomenal! Kind, generous staff, casual atmosphere and ridiculously delicious pizza with wood-fired char on the light and airy crust. 10 out of 10!!! Best pizza in town! This pizza joint is window service with limited outdoor seating, but they have an arrangement with Whiskey Lou's that allows customers to eat inside the bar if so wished. Pizza is made to order so there is a bit of a wait (approx 25 min) but you are given a buzzer that lets you know when to come back to the window. Parking is limited. read more
Love me some Black Magic Pizza! After catching their pop-ups around town over the last couple years, I'm so glad they now have a permanent spot and walk-up window at Whiskey Lou's in the Milk District. We happened to hit their $1 Wing Wednesday deal last week, so of course, we had to get some wings in addition to our pizza. We ordered the Hornet's Nest pizza (red sauce, fresh mozzarella, sopressata, basil, and Mike's Hot Honey), the garlic knots, 6 garlic parm wings, and 6 spicy BBQ wings. The food came out in about 15 minutes. We were just taking ours home to enjoy, but if you want to eat there, you can sit on the back patio, inside the bar, or across the street at Milkhouse (they are affiliated). Everything was delicious and we even had enough for leftovers the next day. It was my first time trying their wings and I was really impressed! read more

Was looking for a late dinner solution after a show at Plaza Live, and we passed this spot and it came up on Yelp also so we decided to check it out. Felt the chicken bacon ranch pie was nothing to write home about, it was missing something. But the apps!! We got the garlic knots and mozzarella sticks, and they were awesome. I'd come back and try a different pie. read more

We ordered the Hornets Nest and the Poutine, around 30$ 8.5/10 , The pizza sauce was exceptional plus the hot honey was really good. It tasted fresh, we saw them making the dough in the back. Poutine could've had more flavor but the steak fries were a great choice. Friendly customer service! read more

Tried the Hornets nest and White Iverson. The ingredients were top notch, the crust was crunchy and delicious! The undercarriage was perfect, best of all no flop! Loved every part of the pizzas! If you're in Orlando, screw the mouse, go to Whisky Lou's and get a pie! Black Magic operates in tandem with the bar and it's perfect together! They give you a pager for your order but it was delivered right to the bar! read more

Back from another amazing meal. I'll be honest, I barely want to post about this place because then it'll be harder to get some of the absolute best pizza in Orlando. BMP uses amazing artisanal ingredients to serve up probably top 3 pizzas in Orlando and it only keeps getting better every single time I go. It's like they made a pact with the devil to conjure up pizza that couldn't possibly exist in this mortal realm. Currently the shop is a small kiosk next to a bar but I'm sure that will change in the very near future. They have some seating near by but it's definitely not for a group of people. I've sat there myself devouring their personal sized pizzas. Other things I've tried on their menu is their wings. On Wednesday they have half off or a dollar a wing. I'm a much bigger fan of their buffalo with Calabrian chilis. Their garlic parm is fantastic as well if that's more your speed. They also have specials every so often. I just had their take on the chicken tender pub sub and I'm convinced they do it better. If it's not on their permanent menu moving forward I'll probably riot. The whole team and especially the owner are fantastic people who I can tell are super passionate about making delicious food. Don't be afraid to give them feedback, they're always on the lookout for ways to improve. Anyway... don't come here... it's so bad... ... I can't lie. It's amazing and people should let them take their money. read more

We recently tried this spot and it lived up to the hype I've heard! They were formally a pop up and now have a set spot to pick up at Whiskey Lou's. We opted to order online and then pick up to bring home, but my understanding is you can also eat it over at Milk House. We chose an order of Calabrian Buffalo wings and their Hornet's Nest pizza. Food was ready at the given time and we dug in at home. The wings had a good crunch on the outside and juicy meat on the inside and I loved the flavor of the sauce. It had a nice kick, but not overly spicy. The ranch was tasty for dipping as well. The pizza was delicious! All of the flavors worked well together, ingredients tasted fresh, and we both liked the consistency of the crust (and dipping in the extra ranch I ordered!) The pizza was a little cold and we don't live very far, but it's a thinner style so just keep in mind it might cool down a bit if you're taking it to go. It was still delish! The prices are on the high side, but worth it in my opinion for the good quality and supporting an awesome local spot. It's one of the better pizzas I've had in town for sure. I'll definitely return! read more

SUPER friendly employees, really nice, and knowledgeable about their food. They saw us walking over from sideward brewing and opened the window and greeted us as we walked towards the building. I guess we had that "we want pizza" look on our faces. Can I tell you though? For me the star items were not the pizza, but rather: 1, the mozzarella sticks - wow, wow, wow, wow, WOW! They're made in house every morning and when they're out, they're out till the next day 2, their garlic knots. Savory, buttery, drench it in sauce.. pizza who? Maybe I'm just not a fan of the style pizza but I thought it was ok, and if I were to come back, i'd just get the mozz sticks and garlic knots. I can't speak for the wings because someone else in our party ate them, but said they were really delicious. Give them a shot if you're in the area and craving pizza. read more

Bravo! This pizza checks all the boxes and some. Beautiful charred crust, airy, and crispy. Not too crispy though. If you like maple syrup, the Dr. Pepperoni is a must. Quick service and headed to Milkhouse next store to eat. Well done. I am a big fan. read more
