You start with your crust of choice, add sauce and toppings before the pizza is popped into the revolving oven. My order was out quickly and topped with a drizzle of olive oil. I was pleasantly surprised at how good this pizza tasted! I think that is a testament to the quality of the ingredients. A very quaint small pizza shop, seems to be mostly a to-go service but has some indoor seats and is very clean. The food was amazing! It's hard to get pizza wrong but it's also hard to make pizza this good too. I'm not usually one to leave reviews, but this place was worth it. The pizza here is decent and definitely gourmet, but the few times I have had it, it has not been hot and was just slightly under cooked. I like my pizza with a crispy crust and the pie here at best if moist... yes a know, what a horrible way to describe pizza. Still though, the pizza is tasty and definitely not as traditional as the pizza spot which is right across the street. I frequent both for different reasons. I found a hack for their pizza, which is to put it in a preheated oven at 300 for 5 minutes, but in hindsight, the next time I order it I should just ask for a crispy crust. I know some folks compare this place to chipotle or other make it your way pizza places, but the part that sets this place a part is that the pizzas are actually GOOD! Service was fast, and at the last minute I ordered a salad. Expecting it to be premade, I was pleasantly surprised when the cashier began preparing it, and I received it at the same time I got my pizza. I gotta say I was disappointed. There were only 2 girls working on a Sunday night with about 10 people in line at a time. Not 100% their fault but one of the girls was moving very slowly and was not being efficient about her work. I had high hopes for this place as I have driven in front of it several times before. Tonight I decided to shell out a few bucks for parking garage nearby and check it out. The place was nicely cleaned and staffed. They quickly took my order and to my horror those fresh carefully assembled ingredients were all bussed into a counter-top conveyor belt oven. This was my first turn-off point. What looked like a handmade dough turned out to be coming out of a hand press in the back. The whole pie ended up like a Pizza Studio type of pizza only smaller and drier. This was my second turn-off. The amazing staff was very fast and very pleasant however they seemed not ready to honor any of my he advertised offers. First they said that the happy hour ended while I was in the line to place my order. Then the Monday special does not apply to me because I had three fillings instead of two. The result was paying $9.60 for only the pizza instead of $7.99 for pizza and drink. This was the third and final knockout blow. A disappointing experience to a newer pizza joint. I LOVE this place! I was so sad when the location at The Artegon closed but it made my day coming across this location downtown last Saturday night! The location is a little small but there are still a few spots, inside and outside, to sit and enjoy friends and good food. The food is fresh and tasty and you can get the pizza EXACTLY how you want it. There are also some unique options I don't see offered at other places like truffle oil for drizzle or arugula toppings. This is a Subway/Chipotle take on personal pizzas. You get six toppings in addition to sauce and cheese and it's fantastic! The crust is crispy yet chewy a bit with a little fluff but not too much. I usually get the white sauce, shredded add bacon, olives, onions, tomatoes, artichokes and ranch! They zip it through the oven right in front of you which takes like 3 minutes it's amazing! Then I add chopped garlic, gorgonzola and spinache... It's a wild combination but I love it and it's impossible to order something like this at any other pizza shop. Easy to split with 2 ppl or 1 (if you have a huge appetite). We got 2 bacon/pepperoni, 1 double pepperoni, and 1 sausage/ham. They have other choices but I played it safe. Moved to a new highrise 2 blocks away, 2 months ago. I rarely eat Pizza, but I had ordered twice before, and felt it was a good product. I am working from home, go online and order a pizza. Pick up time was 2:57pm. I get there about 3:10, pizza is not only not ready, it was never started or made. That is 25 minutes from time of the order. There is 0 customers inside or outside. Located right next to Lake Eola, its a good place that really gives you a lot of options on making the perfect pizza.
