The boy at counter was cool. But I will never eat here again. Like service is trash over and over again just for me to post this.

We refer to Pizza@Lake Eola as the generic gourmet pizza place. Wait... let me explain. The pizza here is decent and definitely gourmet, but the few times I have had it, it has not been hot and was just slightly under cooked. I like my pizza with a crispy crust and the pie here at best if moist... yes a know, what a horrible way to describe pizza. Still though, the pizza is tasty and definitely not as traditional as the pizza spot which is right across the street. I frequent both for different reasons. I found a hack for their pizza, which is to put it in a preheated oven at 300 for 5 minutes, but in hindsight, the next time I order it I should just ask for a crispy crust. Hopefully they won't burn it.

Pizza @ Lake Eola has friendly staff located in the heart of downtown Lake Eola. The pizza was fantastic and I can't say enough about the Salchi fries. Get them with all the toppings! The fries are made fresh to order. This place has laid back vibes and is the perfect pit stop for a daytime lunch or the last stop after a late night boozy bar crawl.

I know some folks compare this place to chipotle or other make it your way pizza places, but the part that sets this place a part is that the pizzas are actually GOOD! Service was fast, and at the last minute I ordered a salad. Expecting it to be premade, I was pleasantly surprised when the cashier began preparing it, and I received it at the same time I got my pizza. The pizzas are personal size, and I ended up inhaling my salad, and eating half of my pizza before grabbing a Togo box and taking the rest home. I'm glad that I found this place, which is steps from a brunch spot I frequent, and I will definitely be back.

I came in because it was right next to the doctors office. I just went to. I came in expecting what I expected to get at a lot of places, two slices cheese and a drink the lunch special. this one was different. I didn't get the drink, though I got a couple of water.

Got a pizza here for lunch. The order was correct and the pizza tasted OK but it was small like a personal size and it cost almost $12. Then I noticed they tacked on a $1.50 "convenience fee" to the bill. They told me it was because I ordered on line and the fee was for the company who processed the order (Menufy). What a rip! Before my online order I tried calling several times but they don't answer their phone. And, no, they were not busy. Customer service NOT!

The pizzas & cookies are delicious! Reasonable prices, friendly service and it is clean.

Delicious! Friendly service too! They offer 6 toppings for one price. Quite a deal these days.

This is my FAVORITE Place to get pizza from downtown. I love the fact that they make it to order and it specifically what I want. All the ingredients are fresh, and always delicious. They have options for every pallet whether you are vegan or vegetarian, there are plenty of options for you. My boyfriend doesn't eat beef or pork however, they offer chicken which is great and he loves their pizza! My favorite is the carnivore and I always add mozzarella balls and basil and mushrooms to it and it's so good! I highly recommend this restaurant anyone in the downtown area.

We really like this place when we're craving "not the average pizza". We usually order and then pick up so there is little or no wait. You can choose one of their signature pizzas off the menu or you can create your own. Your choice of crusts, sauce, of which one is hummus, protein, which includes beans if you're not a meat eater and lots of veggies to choose from, the finishing touch, choice of tomatoes, peppers, arugula, feta cheese and my favorite, truffle oil spritzed on the top. If you're in the mood for salad, you can also create your own. Of course, it's a stone's throw from Lake Eola, so great location.

Wings aren't good. 5 for $6. Too big and fatty and mushy
    Toni D.

The pizza was very good! You can pick up to 6 toppings for $7.92. The pizza only takes a few minutes to cook. The wings were gross. The wings were fatty and soggy. I'll never order the wings again. The chicken Caesar salad was good! I bought a coupon on Restaurants.com. Save $15 if you spend $30. I bought 2 pizzas, one order of buffalo wings and one Caesar salad for $16. Great deal! Well I couldn't eat the wings so I'm glad I used a coupon.

The restaurant has such a cool atmosphere with a mix of retro and vintage decor. They offer both low and high top seating, but we chose the couch for a more comfortable and relaxed vibe. It's a great place to hang out with friends because they have a large projector playing movies and a little corner filled with board games and card games. You order by scanning a QR code, which I really liked because we didn't have to wait for someone to take our order. Everything came out fast, and I mean FAST! We started playing Uno to pass the time, but we didn't even finish one game before our appetizer arrived. We ordered the creamy Caesar salad, and it was a 10/10. Caesar salad is my favorite, so that says a lot! It came with larger pieces of romaine lettuce and a delicious garlic crunch topping. For our pizzas, we ordered the vodka pizza and the pepperoni pizza. I had seen reviews saying that the vodka pizza was overly salty, and I can agree that it was on the saltier side. However, ordering multiple items helped balance it out. The pepperoni pizza was delicious, and the thin, crispy crust on both pizzas was perfect. Nuri's is a great option when you want to indulge without eating anything too heavy. I'm already excited for my next visit, and I definitely plan on bringing more friends!

The thinnest place I've ever seen. Only room for two lines of people in the main area, one line for ordering, one line for picking up. Behind the counter was quite the operation. Pies being baked in one oven, being put on display, and then another oven jam packed with slices being warmed for the customer, along with their accompanying garlic knot. Every slice comes with a complimentary knot. I'm pretty sure I saw whole pizzas going out with eight included knots. The service was pretty good. Efficient, friendly enough workers. There was an aura of hurry up, what do you need, but with a line out the door literally all night, I do not blame them one bit. And the slice factory line got you in an out as quickly as it possible could. As for the slice itself, it was pretty ok. Good crust, foldable slice. Very cheesy, which is needed for most clientele who are in the middle of downtown in need of munchies. Slim toppings, though, and even after the heating process, the slice was kind of cold. Overall, for the convenience and the price, this place was good. I'll definitely come back under the right circumstances.

I asked if they offered a military discount, and the employee told me they did. When I presented my military ID, he refused to apply the discount and then attempted to take my government-issued military ID out of my hand to inspect whether it was legitimate. That interaction really caught me off guard and made me uncomfortable. Regardless of the store's policy, there are more respectful and professional ways to handle that situation. I still purchased my food and ordered a standard cheese pizza, hoping the food would make up for the experience. Unfortunately, it was pretty average. The bottom of the pizza was pale and seemed undercooked, so it lacked the crisp texture I was expecting. The ambience, however, did seem really nice. They have upstairs seating that overlooks the street, which could make for a nice spot if you're dining in. Overall, I understand busy shifts can be stressful, but customers should still be treated with courtesy and respect. Better customer service and more consistency in the quality of the pizza would go a long way. Based on this visit, I don't see myself returning.

Three salads, an olive appetizer, two beers, bread, three pizzas, one dessert, all nailed perfectly. Server even checked in about our food allergies. Two months later, tried going with my fiance. 6:30pm reservation on a Sunday. We showed up ten minutes early, to try and be cordial in case it was busy again, like last time. We walked in to four full tables, and four that were clearly unbussed and still dirty. Three servers are handling the four tables. We're greeted, and the first thing we're asked is if we'd "be okay sitting at the bar?" We told them about our reservation, and we're asked to wait a few minutes... while the servers went back to their other customers. Immediate red flag. It's still loud and cold, inside, with the owner and two other BoH members handling food orders. After we told them again about our reservation, we asked if we could sit on the patio. Nodding at each other and pointing that none of the dirty tables inside still had been cleaned, whatsoever. The young server that finally sat us invited to go over the menu as she went to "find out who would be helping us, this evening." (It turned out to be her, with obvious reluctance on her face.) We then waited ten minutes, with room temperature water and another couple eating takeout pizza, directly from the box, five feet away from us... On a night we both had planned for weeks. She inevitably came back, and we Immediately told her we needed to leave. There's no reason why three servers can't handle that lax of a clientele volume, while also bussing their own tables. If you're dropping around $30 a person on dinner, with the literal business owner present behind the counter, that level of blatant laziness shouldn't even be possible. We'll try again on a day expected to be busy. They clearly need some fire under their asses, and it's not coming from where it should be.
