I ordered a small deep dish and a large thin crust with toppings on half so we could sample a little bit of everything. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill with delivery. I'm always very detailed with instructions and clearly noted how to reach my door, where to leave it, and to knock. Those notes were printed on the receipt, so I know the driver received them. After waiting quite a while and wondering where the food was, my fiancé came home from work carrying the pizzas. The order had apparently been left on the ground in front of our screened porch without any knock or notification. Because of that, the food was cold by the time we got it. I had to reheat everything in the oven, which already took away from what was supposed to be a nice surprise dinner. Then came the bigger disappointment: the pizza itself. The deep dish did not live up to expectations at all. The crust was hard and almost tasted stale. Both pizzas needed a lot of "doctoring up" just to be reasonably okay. I called the number on the receipt afterward, and the only resolution offered was that they'd make sure I didn't get the same driver next time. I also tried calling the next day regarding the tip charge and was left on hold for 30 minutes with no answer. Overall, this was a really frustrating experience from start to finish.
