Absolutely delicious for a date night!

Prato is an absolute standout. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and effortlessly professional--friendly without ever feeling rushed or intrusive. The ambience is perfect: stylish yet relaxed, with a cozy, inviting energy that makes you want to linger. The pizza was exceptional--beautifully cooked with a perfect crust, high-quality ingredients, and incredible flavor in every bite. Pair that with their excellent wine selection, which complements the food perfectly, and you've got a truly memorable dining experience. Prato gets everything right: service, atmosphere, food, and wine. A place I'd happily return to again and again. Emma our server was such an amazing person, fast, professional and friendly. We will definitely come back again! Thank you Emma!

We came in for dinner and had a great experience. Service was welcoming and the atmosphere was so relaxing. I enjoyed a glass of prosecco. For our appetizer, we got the pretzel breaded calamari. It came with two sauces and both were delicious. The calamari was tender and crisp. For my entree, I got the truffle gnocchi. They were so pillowy and the sauce was to die for. The portions were solid. It was a good meal.

Went here on a first date. The meatballs were stellar and I'm still dreaming about them! I had the mustard spaghettini and he had the rigatoni. I see why people love this place. To finish dinner, we shared the tiramisu. It was a bit light of the coffee flavor, but it was really fluffy! Nicely done overall. Our server was great too and gave use great recommendations. Can't wait to go back!

Prato in Winter Park was such a fantastic stop! The vibe is fun and lively as soon as you walk through the doors. It was pretty busy for a Thursday--thanks to the gorgeous weather--but we were seated right away, even with the crowds. They offer both outdoor seating and bar seating, which adds to the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Our server was wonderful, taking the time to explain the menu and share some great recommendations. We started with the Burrata appetizer and holy cow... it was incredible. A huge, beautifully presented plate with super fresh lettuce, sliced pears, almonds, and the burrata split open and drizzled with prosecco. Hands down the best burrata I've ever had. For my lunch entrée, I ordered the Panino Caprese sandwich, and it was everything you love about a fresh caprese salad tucked inside warm focaccia. So yummy. I chose the house-made chips on the side, and they were amazing--crispy, flavorful, and clearly fresh. This was an excellent dining experience all around. Highly recommend stopping by Prato if you're in the Winter Park area!

I was driving home from Orlando and decided to stop here for some pizza. It is conveniently located on Park Avenue in Winter Park. They have indoor, outdoor and bar seating. It was a beautiful sunny day so I decided to sit outside at one of their sidewalk tables. The menu offers appetizers, salads, pizzas, pastas and entrees. I opted for the Diavolo Pizza. It came with pepperoni, pancetta, and Italian long peppers. It was just a little spicy but tasted great. Service was quick from my server, Lily.

Leo our server was extremely nice and walked us through the menu, and included his favorites. The espresso martini was really good and their in-house pasta is to die for. The setting is super nice too at night and very lively. Would recommend this spot for a good date night

Outside seating and a birthday lunch. Food was 4.5 stars, service was 4 stars as it was good and pleasant but slow. 1.5hrs for lunch was a little more than we planned on. Bathrooms are shared gender and that can be not ideal. Would come back to try the pizza, it looked amazing.

Potato Gnocchi - A ceramic bowl contains cooked potato gnocchi pasta, topped with grated cheese, ground spices, and chopped herbs. The dish appears freshly prepared, with the gnocchi coated in a light sauce or seasoning. The bowl is placed on a wooden surface, and the image focuses on the food presentation.

I have always wanted to come here and I finally came with my friends. The restaurant has a nice low lit ambience to it. The service here was good. To start we got the beef carpaccio and we really enjoyed it. I got the Cacio e pepe, this was amazing. The noodles here are so good and the sauce was delicious. We also really enjoyed the potato gnocchi so creamy and perfectly chewy. Last thing we got was the Margarita Pizza, it tasted fresh but it was a bit too floppy/soggy for me. I prefer a crispier pizza crust. I would definitely come back here again for their pasta. I want to come back and try their other pasta dishes.

A little overpriced for what we got, but I would definitely go again and try a few other things. Portions felt a little small, given the price. Mocktails were nice and creative (I really enjoyed their espresso martini)! Dog-friendly is always a bonus in my book.

This place is beautifully decorated. I love the dim lighting and neighborhood feel inside. I heard good things about this place and looked forward to trying it. Upon seating, I was given water and greeted with a menu. After asking the bartender what the most popular drink was, he suggested the Cetriolo, "for sure" which is a martini made of cucumber organic vodka, agave, lime, white cranberry, and topped with a basil garnish. It tastes absolutely delicious. Its also one of the cheaper drinks on the menu. For dinner, I did a little research and saw some appetizing pictures on Yelp. I ordered the Mustard Spaghettini "Cacio E Pepe" half portion. It was delicious. Would definitely return. Even if for the martini alone!

Tried this while in Winter Park, noted the Michelin recommendation... Didn't not disappoint!! Got the Seasonal Pizza with Duck! Then also the Tagliatelle! Was great Out waiter Dekota was great, awesome recommendations, We sat by the front window, Beautiful park view!! Lovely Want to return and try more things!!

Half cheese and half pepperoni pizza - A large pepperoni pizza with a thick, golden-brown crust and melted cheese is placed on a metal tray on a wooden table. Several slices are missing, revealing pepperoni toppings and cheese. A smaller white plate with a single slice of pizza is in the background. The table setting includes utensils and napkins, indicating a dining environment.

Prato never disappoints. Accidentally made reservations for a week ahead but alas, they had tables for a party of 3 for lunch today. The ambiance is always on par and the service compliments it. They do change the menu, which is nice and today we normally get the escarole salad, but they have Caesar salad "the little gem". Both are perfect, I prefer the escarole to the gem as it has more of a vinaigrette flavored dressing compared to a creamier one. My husband is basic and ordered half cheese and half pepperoni pizza. I ordered the Funghi. Both delicious. I normally get a lunch sized pasta but was more in a pizza mood. My favorite is walking to the back and passing the kitchen where you see them making the pasta by hand. Prato is always a good option, but always remember to reserve a table!

    Diavolo Pizza
    Kevin P.

The best Italian restaurant! We went during lunch since we weren't able to get a dinner rez for weeks. We got the chopped chicken salad and the Diavolo pizza to share, and I got the rigatoni to myself. The salad was amazing. I usually order salads when I just want to get some greens in me but this was an enjoyable salad with lots of greens, chicken and bits of bacon that pairs well with the slightly sweet raisins. My rigatoni was perfectly seasoned and the noodles were cooked al dente. I could tell they were made from scratch. The diavolo pizza was the reason why we came and unfortunately it just wasn't the best diavolo pizza I've had. It wasn't that flavorful and the bite was tough and lacked cheese pull. The service was amazing and we had our waters refilled constantly. They were attentive and quite funny. The ambiance is wonderfully decorated with a tavern-feel. This place is definitely worth coming to try, especially their salads and pasta. I'll definitely come back to try their other pizzas!

    Do they have matchbooks here?

I hope not. I would hope this is a smoke free restaurant.

    Do they offer vegetarian options?

They do offer vegetarian pizza. And in each course and category they offer at least one tasty vegetarian dish

Does Prato make fresh pasta themselves? Just moved here from DC and need to find a place serving fresh pasta to be my default Italian place to treat my visitors.

Yes! Prato is my go-to for fresh pasta. They pride themselves on their fresh food selection and their menu changes everyday based on availability of those fresh ingredients.

Hours say you're closed 3-5:30 wed-Fri, but also that happy hour is 4-6? Is the bar only open but not the kitchen during that time?

They are open at 4, you can be seated at a table or a booth, but you can only order drinks. The kitchen opens at 5:30. There is both drinks and food on the happy hour but you cannot order any of the food until 530.
