Mosonori is definitely one of those spots that just hits right every time. The vibe inside feels lively yet relaxed -- perfect whether you're stopping in for a quick bite or settling in to enjoy a full omakase experience. The hand rolls are the real highlight here -- fresh, flavorful, and beautifully balanced without feeling overly heavy. Every bite tastes intentional, and you can tell they take pride in quality. If you're a sake lover, don't skip the hot sake... honestly one of the best pairings with their menu and such a comforting touch. Service has always been friendly and welcoming, which really elevates the whole experience. Between the thriving energy, great staff, and consistently delicious rolls, Mosonori easily lands on my repeat list whenever I'm craving good hand rolls in Orlando.

Mosonori is such a fun, modern sushi experience! It's a hand roll bar with all bar seating surrounding the sushi chefs, which makes it feel intimate. It's walk-in only, and we went around 6:30pm on a Friday and were seated right away. By the time we were leaving, the place was pretty full. The menu is simple and easy to navigate. You choose individual hand rolls or a tasting. Most hand rolls are under $10, and they also offer set menus ranging from about $20-$42. I went with the 5 hand roll set and loved it. It was such a great way to try a variety. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the service was phenomenal without feeling rushed. This would be an awesome date night spot or a great place to catch up with a friend.

Had a double date and chose to go to Mosonori for some handrolls! Got the 5-Hand roll set menu with Hamachi, bay scallop, akami, crab, and toro. My favorite bites for the night were the hamachi and toro hand rolls. The salmon tasting is basic but always a solid choice. Our server was impeccable and gave detailed recommendations/explanations of the menu. The interior design was really well thought out and gorgeous. From the lighting to the tiling definitely a refined experience.

Mosonori is easily one of my go-to spots. The hand rolls are perfectly executed with thoughtful combinations, and the cold tastings pair beautifully with their drinks. I love the ambiance and could honestly eat here weekly consistently excellent every time.

Beautiful, intimate sushi bar with top notch service. The sushi is made fresh right in front of you. I went during Bite30 and it was a great way to experience the menu!

If you're looking for the best sushi and atmosphere around, Mosonori is it. From the second you walk in, the ambiance sets the tone -- modern, intimate, and upscale without feeling pretentious. It's the kind of place you want to take your wife for a date night or impress friends who really appreciate good food. The sushi is on another level. The dry-aged salmon is unreal -- buttery, clean, and perfectly balanced. You can taste the care and technique. And the toro? Absolute perfection. Rich, melt-in-your-mouth, and sliced just right. Every piece we had was on point. What really pushed the experience over the top was the service. Piper delivered elite-level hospitality -- attentive without hovering, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely warm. You can tell the staff takes pride in what they're doing, and it shows. Top-tier sushi. Incredible ambiance. Elite service. Mosonori absolutely delivers. We'll be back.

This is a BEAUTIFUL place to have an intimate dinner date. The dining area is set up like a big U around the center when the handrolls and other plates are made. There is a kitchen in the back where the food is cooked and a refrigerator display of meats. It provides a elegant and modern look. The food here is VERY fresh and it's quite entertaining to see the food being prepared in front of you. They give you a golf pencil and a sheet to mark the items and quantities you would like. If you're eating handrolls only, I believe they advise on ordering three at a minimum. My favorite roll here is the crab. They also have sake-based cocktails that are delicious, if you're a fan of sake. The hostess and waitstaff are superb and engaging. The service is great and would make you return again and again. I don't advise visiting with a big group becuase everyone sits side-by-side. This is perfect for a pair or trio.

My sushi craving took the best of me the other day, but when does it not! I popped in for a little mid-day snack since I live in the area. Yes, mosonori is a bit pricey... but the elegant, modern vibe and quality definitely justify this. The staff were very professional and informative about the menu as well. I ordered a carafe of the warm sake as well as the Hamachi Hand Roll and the Chef's Daily Special Hand Roll (it was Uni this day... MY FAV). I was very impressed by the freshness of the Uni and Hamachi! I don't think you can make reservations since it's all bar seating, but I think you can join a waitlist through the Resy app during their operating hours. Also to note, there is no liquor here. Their signature cocktails are sake-based. I would definitely pop in for a snack and some sake again.

Mosonori has quickly become one of my go-to spots when I'm craving quality hand rolls and a fun, thriving atmosphere. The energy inside feels upbeat but still comfortable -- great for catching up with friends or treating yourself after a long day. The hand rolls are consistently fresh and flavorful, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. If you're feeling adventurous, the omakase experience is absolutely worth it -- beautifully curated and satisfying from start to finish. And honestly... their hot sake is a must. Warm, smooth, and the perfect complement to the sushi. What makes the experience even better is the staff -- friendly, attentive, and welcoming without feeling overwhelming. Between the great vibe, strong flavors, and solid service, Mosonori is definitely a place I keep coming back to.

I've seen this place pop up on my TikTok lots of times and I finally came here with my friend to try it. The inside of the restaurant looks nice and I like that the seating is centered around the chef's making the dishes. It feels very personal and the staff here were very helpful with the menu and provided lots of good recommendations. We decided to get the six roll, set menu and order some additional items as well. The salmon tasting was very fresh and a good indicator of the quality of the fish here. We tried a lot of their hand rolls and they were all pretty good. The hand rolls here are a bit bigger than most places. My favorites were the crab and lobster hand rolls. I didn't particularly like the Toro hand roll just because I don't like Toro chopped up. The softshell crab hand roll was also not my favorite. While it was good, it was a bit greasy. I would like to come back here and try the rest of their hand rolls. If you haven't been here yet, you should definitely try it out!

mosonori left me asking why the price tag is this high for this much hassle. The format puts you at a sushi bar with multiple parties seated together, which dilutes the experience. If I'm sharing elbow room with strangers, I'd rather book Edoboy. Their smaller-party setup fits this concept better and the value feels tighter. If I want conversation and privacy, Kabooki gives you a proper table without the spectacle baked into the price. Speed is the bright spot. Plates landed fast and the pacing was efficient. Unfortunately, that's where the upside ended for me. For what they charge, I expected sharper hospitality and a more thoughtful flow. Checkout was the low note. When it was time to pay for our bill, the staff member made a face when we asked for our receipt. She came off rude. Food quality and presentation was fine, but nothing justified the premium. I know it's Winter Park, but this place is overpriced hype.

What an amazing Experience! This was an excellent omakase experience, and it definitely met and exceeded expectations! I was excited to see them offer a Bite 30 tasting menu. The restaurant is beautiful! The dining room is one large oblong counter top with stool seating with perfect viewing of the sushi chef team at work. The service was excellent! The host/waitress was extremely attentive and friendly. She addressed me by name every time she addressed me (they ask when you arrive) Definitely a five star experience! I did the salmon cold tasting, the Toro Tartare and a few of the hand rolls. The salmon tasting was perfect! I've never had salmon so flavorful and buttery in the states! The fish was delicate and tastes so fresh! The Toro Tartare was perfectly fatty and buttery! It was Smokey and bright! The shrimp hand roll was creamy and delicious, like lobster roll! The crab roll was perfectly balanced and had a wonderful flavor. The scallop roll was buttery and spicy, it had the perfect balance of creaminess and boldness. The hamachi roll was bright and fresh. It was very fish forward with a nice bite from the chives. Finally, the salmon roll. It was fresh and light, another perfect demonstration of the flavors of the sea! To finish the tasting, I was served vanilla soft serve with house made caramel drizzle. The ice cream was like velvet! The caramel was perfectly sweet and salty with butterscotch notes. The complete set was surprisingly filling as well! Typically, tasting menus can be unsatisfying, but the portions were perfect! This was a wonderful experience. I decided to treat myself to an elegant dinner, and this did not disappoint!

This has easily become one of most visited go to date night spots. Mosonori is such high quality food and perfect size portions to enjoy dinner but be full. They do not take reservations but we usually can easily get seating at the bar or will call and check the wait times. All the staff is always so friendly and the bar seating makes it a fun atmosphere. No matter what do not skip the toro tartar appetizer but pro tip, the toro handroll is the exact same base so if getting the toro tartar I would skip it as a hand roll and try a different hand roll! Our favorite is the lobster every time but love trying the market specials. Recently the mixed mushroom handroll special blew our mind and we hope it becomes a staple! Don't miss Mosonori!!

Our first round of drinks were amazing and perfect choices of cup design or garnish. The only downside was when we ordered one drink there was confusing on whether it was up to the allergy request we had but it was fixed shortly after but I feel as if the server should have been more educated on it since it could have been avoided. Other than that the drinks were perfect, which my favorite was the Scream cocktail which came in its iconic Ghostface cup and went along with my outfit and Scream mask and knife I brought along with me. After another round of drinks we got their Trick or Treat shots which were definitely interesting and live up to their names for both shots! Definitely fit the vibe with the music, atmosphere and decorations around the bar which made an awesome spot for Halloween themed drinks to enjoy for the season!

We were incredibly grateful that they allowed us to bring in a cake and served it for us at the end of the meal with fresh plates and chilled forks. It was very impressive. The food was spectacular. They sent about an amuse bouche complimentary of the chef, which was very nice. For appetizers, we enjoyed the focaccia bread, arancini, crab cake, and bruschetta. Everything was fabulous. The bread was fresh, the bruschetta was super flavorful, the crab was perfect, and the arancini were so hot and tasty. For my entree, I got the filet mignon wedge salad. We dined in last night for my friend's 27th birthday and we were seated on the patio closest to the sidewalk. It started to rain at one point and the manager came over to us to let us know that if the rain picked up or started blowing in towards our table, they had a table available for us inside. The rain ended up stopping, and we were safe to stay outside! We started off with the focaccia and it was nothing like I've ever tasted before. There was this purple Tasman sea salt on top and it was paired with an orange butter. It was hands-down, the best focaccia roll. I've ever put into my mouth. I almost ordered another, but I wanted to save room for dinner. My friend and I split the lobster flatbread and the flavors of the red peppers with the lobster and the special sour cream sauce was delicious. For my entrée, I ordered the Chapman meatballs. They were very flavorful, and it sat on a bed of lentils and a green salsa Verde, which I believe had avocado in it. I need the recipe to these meatballs! They were delicious! I took a few bites of the ahi tuna stack, as well as a few bites of the Involtini. The tuna had a slight spicy kick to it, but was very fresh and flavorful. The Involtini was AMAZING. I almost wish I ordered this as my entree. It had this citrus yogurt that paired really well with the egg eggplant and zucchini and curry. I will definitely be ordering this dish the next time I dine in here! Once it was time for dessert, Maddie informed us that she would be giving us a no bake cheesecake to try. We had also brought in a Bundt cake for my friend's birthday and Maddie provided us with small plates and a knife to cut the cake. The no bake cheesecake was delicious, however I forgot to snag a photo! The restaurant gave my friends happy birthday cards, with personally signed messages from the entire staff. I've never seen anything like it before. This was very special and intimate. Throughout the night, Maddie was very attentive, asking us how everything was tasting, consistently clearing our plates, and filling our waters. Towards the end of the evening, she found out that it was most of our first times there, and she sent us all home with complementary macaroons. I haven't had a dining experience this great in a really long time, so Maddie really made my friend's birthday extra special. Give Maddie her flowers because she deserves it!!!! I will gladly be coming back to The Chapman in the future for a date night, and I hope to have Maddie as my server again!!!
