Magical Dining time! I vetted all 180+ menus, and picked a top seven. Kabooki made my top seven. That's a hard thing to do. There are a lot of good menus out there this year, but Kabooki just stood out. A good variety, great sounding flavors, customizable sushi entree. It was a clear good choice to make. Ambiance is always great at Kabooki. Dimly lit, a sleek, energetic bar right up front, an omakase bar over in the corner with a great view of the chef's working, and a playlist that just won't quit. It's all very swanky and full of hexagons. Service was great, too. We had a very nice, attentive server. And even though the pace was certainly not lackadaisical, we did not feel rushed at all, which is unusual for a Magical Dining reservation. Usually the restaurants can't wait to get us out the door, but here, we felt very welcome. It was nice. As for the food, for a $60 menu, they had their work cut out for them. would coming here be worth paying $40 total for both our meals? Long story short, yes, absolutely it was. Apps Maguro Truffle (tuna, bubu arare, shiitake crèma, balsamic truffle soy, serrano peppers). This was banging. Huge slabs of fresh tuna, covered in crispy crunchy little circles, and that shiitake crema, very umami, I licked the plate. I wasn't about to let any of that go to waste. Hamachi Carpaccio (Japanese yellowtail, yuzu tobiko, ponzu, kaffir lime oil, yuzu kosho, serrano peppers). This was not carpaccio. It was a menu play with the wagyu carpaccio right above it. But it was five excellent slices of fresh hamachi with a very bright sauce that it was laying in. Generous slices, too. Great apps. Mains Berkwood St. Louis Sticky Ribs (braised, then crispy tempura, tossed in smoked chili, hoisin sauce). I'll say it, these were the best Asian ribs I've ever had in Orlando. Tempura crispy exterior, melt in your mouth interior, and whatever they tossed it in, including sesame seeds, formed a beautiful little crust on the outside. Best bite of the night. Hands down. Two Makimono (pick 2: tom yum roll, hawaiian x.o roll, booki booki roll, spicy tuna roll). Tom Yum (panko shrimp, avocado, topped with torched salmon, tom yum aioli, thai chili flakes, micro cilantro, lemon wedge). Hawaii XO (yellowtail, avocado, tobanjan aioli, crispy shallots, topped with white fish, lemon confit, kaiware, pink salt). Both were very good rolls. The Tom Yum aioli was a very unique touch, which is what I was looking for. I'm so jaded with rolls nowadays, I really need to be impressed. The Hawaii roll was nice, too. Looking back, I don't recall or see any crispy shallots. Make sure to compare your rolls to the menu when you come here. Desserts C4 (chocolate lava cake with dulce de leche, vanilla ice cream, and chocolate ganache sauce). This was good. Textbook lava cake with all the decadent flavors you except, and a nice, cold ice cream to pair perfectly with it. Ube Cheesecake +$8 (graham cracker crust, topped with torched meringue, toasted coconut). Only two dollars more on the regular menu, but eight dollars more here. I still wanted it so badly, but I recommend you pass on this upgrade. It was a very good ube cheesecake, but it was not add-eight-dollars better than the creme brulee would have been. Overall, Kabooki is a very good little spot. With everyone and their mother offering fresh fish and sushi rolls nowadays, Kabooki stands above a lot of them in terms of quality and quantity of their offerings. No wonder it comes Michelin recommended. I'll definitely be back one day.

It's always a rush to get Magical Dining people out the door, but not here. Loved it. The food was really, really good. It outshines so many other sushi places in Orlando. No wonder it's on the Michelin guide. Cons: Not a single con. A really nice experience. Tips: If you're looking around for Magical Dining places, and are wondering if you should come here, the answer is yes, you should. You absolutely must order the Berkwood St. Louis Sticky Ribs. But do not pay the extra for that Ube Cheesecake. Not worth the upgrade price.
I finally came for the first time tonight for dinner for Magical Dining. We made a reservation despite being a Monday and it was quite busy. The restaurant looks small and unassuming from the outside but once inside you can see it's much larger than anticipated and well decorated. The lighting also seemed dim enough to offer ambience but still be able to see. The staff all provided incredible service, especially our server who made excellent recommendations and the bussers who kept our waters full and quickly cleared used dishes. We loved everything we got from the cocktails to the food. Everything was super fresh, including the Wagyu Carpaccio and sushi. Everything was well presented and came out fairly quickly. The rice was a huge portion and I couldn't tell you between the c4 and ube cheesecake which was better. I look forward to visiting again soon!
Had an amazing experience at Kabooki for a birthday dinner. Every sushi roll was very fresh with strong bursts of flavor. The photo that I wrote each rolls title on, were the top 4 of everything I tried this day, with Ghost and Tom Yum being my top two. The food came in a timely manner and was presented well. My waitress was also attentive and did not rush us once. I would love to return to the lounge area especially for the ambiance and privacy.
This was my first time here. This place did not disappoint. The manager found out it was my first time here and came to our table to make sure we were okay. The staff was very pleasant. This a great date night spot as the atmosphere is very upscale and can be romantic. Their magical dining menu is $60! Everything was really fresh and didn't taste manufactured. I thought the tom tom sushi roll was going taste too fishy but surprisingly it didn't and was the best tasting of the two rolls. Can't wait to go back!
Just wow to Kabooki!!!!! Been here twice now and just getting to reviewing this spot. Let me first start with the staff! Great service from start to finish. Our server Michelle was very nice and offered good input to our questions about the dishes. We also had the honor to talk with Chef Henry Moso- we had a great conversation about the sushi and he even presented us with a dish. Grateful and delighted! kabooki's quality and execution of the dishes are a work of art! Both times we sat at sushi table and watched all the sushi chefs doing their magic was a great show. We started with the hamachi carpaccio and the beef carpaccio and both were chefs kiss We had the bluefin tasting which was great progression of variety of bluefin. Mauro Truffle, Kona Kampachi, leche de Tigro were tasty unique options. The use of micro greens and flowers was really pretty besides being tasty!! Definitely worth checking out!!
Very trendy. Similar vibe to Seito Sushi in Dr Phillip's. Had the tuna tasting which was very good , Australian wagyu cooked on a hot stone tableside which was fun and delicious. The spicy tuna roll was amazing and the Akami & Unagi roll was very good. Good cocktails. Pleasant experience.
Everything was really good and fresh. Different and unique texture and flavor profiles. Service on point. Unfortunately when we went, the AC was broken though it was freezing inside. Otherwise ambience food and love you always.
I revisited again after a few years. The menu has changed quite a bit throughout the years, but it is still very pricey. This time I went with my husband and we ordered a few small plates and an espresso martini. The espresso martini was pretty standard, but we've definitely had better. The shishito peppers were okay, but I feel like I've gotten more in the past with an order. The karaage was highly disappointing, the sauce was overwhelming and made the fried chicken coating slightly soggy. I think a dry seasoning would've paired better. The beef cheek had nice presentation, but didn't really impress with the flavor; there's better places for yakitori. The otoro we got was decent. The ribs were my favorite of the night with good sauce and they fell off the bone. And then my real favorite of the night was the ube cheesecake, so delicious and flavorful! The service was great and the server was helpful in bringing us a happy hour menu after we asked. Interior was dark and had good vibes for a date night.
Came here on a Saturday for Date night. Place was exactly what we were looking for. We sat in the lounge area because there were no tables available. Perfect ambiance the service was 10/10 Monica was on point. The food was exceptional, we ordered the wakame salad to start then followed it up with the Tom Yum and Hokkaido rolls. For drinks we had the Kabooki old fashioned and my girlfriend had butterfly effect. Highly recommend.
Came here on a Friday night and it was busy! The location is unassuming, right off of 50. There's not a lot of parking so you may need to plan for that. You can park behind the building but it was unclear to me if it was a tow a way zone or not. For Kabooki Sushi, the ambiance was low light and romantic (I needed the little lamp light). The service was on point (water glasses filled and plates cleared immediately). The food was delicious (gone too fast!). The two rolls I tried were delicious. The LC had beef on top and was savory. The Hawaii XO was refreshing. The apps were good portions for the price point. They also had some chef specials that were not so budget friendly lol. Overall, this is a nice spot to have a dinner with a less casual vibe.
Kabooki is a consistent good meal I can count on. The sushi is always fresh. The drinks are good as well. The booki booki and chill roll are my favorite. It is good to book a reservation but they take walk ins as well.
Date night done right! This sushi spot is tucked into a shopping strip (next to Foxtail, which felt a *little* random at first), but the moment we walked in, it was a total vibe shift. Elegant, cozy, and instantly inviting. Hubby and I shared two different sushi rolls (fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented), shrimp, plus some crispy chicken bites and brussel sprouts that seriously deserve their own spotlight. The service? Top-tier. Attentive without hovering, super welcoming, and made the whole experience feel special. And let's not forget complimentary valet = immediate bonus points.
Magical Dining review. This is the first time i experienced their magical dining menu priced at $60. I recommend reservations. This venue is always full. Parking can be difficult near the entrance. Parking spaces are limited. There is additional parking towards the back of another building. It's a low light romantic ambiance. The space can get pretty loud. I started with the Hamachi Carpaccio for the first course. The Two Makimono rolls for the second course. For dessert and last course I ordered the C4. Everything was delicious. We hadn't been to Kabooki in a long time and finally decided to give it another shot during magical dining. The ambiance was amazing, nice and cool, nice chill music in the background. The service from the valet, our server, the food runners, and any one else that was around quickly picked up every plate soon as we were done. The food was as incredible as we remembered. For starters we had the wagyu carpaccio and toro tartare, but were super fresh and flavors were perfectly balanced. For the main course we got the sticky ribs with a side of steamed rice and a couple of sushi rolls. If you haven't had their sticky ribs, it's an absolute must try. I don't know what they do to them but they are super tender fall off the bone but still have a slight crunch when you bite. The sauce/flavor is something I've never had...like a sweet teriyaki bbq of some sort. The Tom Yum Roll and Spicy Tuna roll were also great, not anything I would rant about but genuinely good and fresh. The desserts were both incredible!! The cream brûlée was sweet but not overpowering and the texture was perfect. The lava cake was nice and hot! Served with some fantastic ice cream that wasn't only vanilla, it had a hint of something! All in all it was a wonderful night, we really look forward to going back. read more

It's been probably two years since I've last been to Kabooki and last night made me realize I should be dining in here more often! Everything was perfect from the service, to the ambience, to the delicious sushi, appetizers, and dessert. My friends ordered the Shishido peppers for an appetizer, and I tried if you bite and they were delicious. They weren't spicy at all, and they were very flavorful. I ordered the hokkaido roll because I am a huge fan of crab and it was delicious. I tried if you buy some Hawaiian roll and that was also very fresh and yummy, but I definitely preferred the hokkaido roll more. My one friend ordered the mushroom udon noodles and I snagged a small bite of them and they were very buttery and delicious. It did take a long time to get to the table and it was quite a small portion. My friends ordered the green tea, crème brûlée and the blueberry cheesecake and both were amazing! The Ube cheesecake was one of the best cheesecakes I've ever tasted before. It was topped with a warm marshmallow fluff, and the graham cracker crust was perfect. A bunch of my friends ordered cocktails and they all enjoyed them. Parking is a bit of a nightmare here but luckily I snagged a spot out back. They also offer valet. read more

Everything was great. The vibe is great. The service was exceptional, the tastings were creative and delicious, oysters were amazing, even the background flavors were surprisingly wonderful and unique in a good way. Flavors were popping with a smoky flavor in the roe done in house. I only wish the size of the pieces were larger. They were very small and I had a problem with the valet but the manager took care of it right away. We will be back. read more
Went here with friends to celebrate our engagement and the staff were incredible. We sat down with a chilled bottle of champagne already at the table and our server immediately poured us all glasses to cheers with. This is one of my all time favorite restaurants so it's always a fantastic experience. I've had almost everything on the menu but some dishes I gravitate towards are the tuna truffle cold tasting dish, miso soup, scallop nigiri, tuna nigiri, all the rolls are fabulous, the udon noodles, mushroom dumplings, and nigiri flight of 10 picked from the chef. I'm usually getting an assortment of those every time I come. The fish here is such a high grade of fish compared to other spots in town. Everything tastes so fresh and of great quality. I could eat plain sashimi here with nothing on it and be overjoyed. read more

Incredible food! This is some of the best sushi I've had in a very long time. Get the Hawaii x.o ( I could eat this every day) We also enjoyed the maguro truffle Portions are smaller, and you pay a premium, but you are getting quality food. We visited Kabooki as part of Magical dining, but I'd encourage anyone hoping to try this place out to NOT wait and visit as soon as you can! The food there was very nicely presented, and each of the sushi rolls, appetizers, entrees, and desserts carried very unique flavors. I've had some great sushi in the past, and I would put Kabooki's offerings in that list, if not just above my list of greats. The service was attentive. The servers weren't in your way or constantly in your face, but you knew they were nearby if you needed help. The ambience: dimly lit, not too loud at all, and it felt like a very posh dining establishment. Great date night place. They do have a complimentary valet, however our valet was expecting a tip. Parking is very difficult without using the valet, so that's the only part I didn't like about the entire experience. Overall though, this was one of my favorite dinings experiences in Orlando and will definitely go back! read more
Food was amazing, not pictured but we started with the truffle parmesan edamame and it was VERY good. The wagu that you cook on the hot rock was buttery soft and the bookibooki roll was my favorite. Bookibooki is warm and good quality. 5 of us got the kiwi elderflower and tequila drink that was on special that night and it was great. Everyone was happy with their food, however it's worth noting the wait and service took quite a while. We waited at least 30 minutes before getting our first drink, and didn't order our dinner for about an hour after arriving. Worth it and will be back again and again! read more

The food is where this place really shines. The sushi tasted incredibly fresh, with clean flavors and thoughtful combinations. The brussel sprouts with peach balsamic glaze is a must. The shishito pepper were also good (although could've been blistered more). The LV roll with wagyu was a standout and felt indulgent in the best way. It is not something you see everywhere and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The Hawaii XO roll with beet brought a savory depth, while maintaining a bright refreshing finish. You can tell care goes into the ingredients and presentation. The drinks were also excellent. We had a cherry old fashioned and the "Don't Make Me Blush" (guava and yuzu cocktail) and both were beautifully balanced and well crafted. They complemented the meal perfectly and added to the overall experience. I went on a weekend night and it was lively but not overwhelming. Overall, it is a great choice when you want high quality sushi in a more upscale setting and are looking to make a night of it rather than just grab a quick bite. read more
Overall, the meal was well. We got the otoro nigiri, the the chill roll, the Tom Yom roll, Hawaii XO roll, kaarage chicken, and a miso soup. Besides the Kaarage chicken, I'd order all of them again. The Kaarage chicken tasted fine, but sauced pretty heavy for Kaarage, came with a great dipping sauce, but it was only six medium size and medium quality nuggets for way too much money. That was similar to the theme of the rest of the dinner, the rolls were superb and tasty, but the value on most of the rolls was not there, even for my low expectations of portion sizes at a fancier, high end sushi spots the rolls seemed like they had less circumference than other top-line sushi restaurants. We hadn't been to Kabooki in years!! So glad we decided to do a date night here again, we were way overdue. The resturant got a facelift since then. It looked very modern and sleek. Our server was wonderful and the best part was obviously, the food! We started with drinks and I loved my Lychee Princess. Then we got an order of the garlic teriyaki edamame for the table, which was tasty. I love a little flair to my edamame. Next, I did the tuna nigiri sampler. This came with a lean, mixed and full fatty piece of tuna. Each bite was better than the last. I also ordered a separate piece of yellowtail (one of my favorites). The nigiri here is solid. But my favorite thing here were the maki rolls. I tried the hokkaido roll, which was crab, avocado, topped with raw scallops and black garlic. I also tried the tom yum roll, shrimp tempura, avocado, topped with torched salmon and a tom yum aioli. And we finished with the ube cheesecake, which was incredible! Had the best birthday dinner here, maybe the best dining experience of my life. My husband took me for my 27th and we did the magical dining menu. He asked for a private corner booth and even though it was taken at first we only waited about 10 minutes. While waiting I ordered the "Don't Make Me Blush" cocktail and it completely blew me away. It tasted exactly like biting into a fresh yuzu. No ice, just perfectly chilled, and beautifully presented with four drops of yuzu oil. Easily the best cocktail I've ever had. For starters we had the Tiger Cream and Hamachi Carpaccio. Both were excellent but the Tiger Cream with yuzu crème fraîche was unreal. The fish tasted impossibly fresh. For entrées we tried every roll offered which included the Tom Yum, Ghost, Hawaiian x.o, and Booki Booki. Each one was melt in your mouth perfection. The Tom Yum roll was my favorite but honestly every roll was amazing. Even their spicy mayo was the best I have ever had. For dessert my husband ordered the mochi trio while I went with the Ube cheesecake. That cheesecake was next level. The graham cracker crust was the perfect texture and the ube filling was moist, flavorful, and unforgettable. It was the best dessert I have ever eaten. Every single course was a 10/10. Service was quick, our server was attentive, and she even offered to take multiple photos of us. Overall it was the best dining experience I have ever had and we already booked another reservation for my husband's birthday on September 9. I cannot wait to go back. read more

My husband and I went to Kabooki for magical dining on my birthday. Overall, a great experience and I'm happy we got to go. I had been thinking about going to Kabooki for a long time and just waiting till the right moment. The restaurant was beautifully decorated on the inside with midcentury modern decor. It was bustling, clean, and elegant. Our server was helpful and kind, but it was a busy night so we had time to look over all the menu options as the staff caught up and we sipped on some sparkling water. Together my husband and I ordered tiger cream, wagyu carpaccio, shishito peppers, sticky ribs, Hawaii XO, ghost roll, and tom yum roll. For dessert we tried the matcha tiramisu and C4. The food was amazing and we especially loved the wagyu carpaccio, tiger cream, shishito peppers, Hawaii XO, and sticky ribs. The sushi, carpaccio, and salmon were so incredibly fresh. Peppers perfectly blistered in an amazing brothy sauce. My husband loved the rolls with char on top but I thought it was a little overpowering. The Hawaii XO roll was my favorite because I loved the citrusy/yuzu flavor. The matcha tiramisu was OK for me-- although I like matcha, I was expecting something a little more sweet for dessert. Came back this year and I can still confirm that this place is top-notch with quality sushi and sashimi! Tried the coconut udon and loved it SO MUCH :) the lime foam on top nicely balanced with the coconut flavors. also adding an updated cocktail menu. read more
I've always wanted to try Kabooki Sushi and when I saw it was participating with Bite30 this year, I figured it was a perfect time to go. Kabooki can get packed pretty fast so I would advise setting a reservation just to be safe. Once we were seated we asked for the Bite30 menu with prefixed pricing much similar to that of magical dining. Just be aware that they upcharge for anything that's not on the bite30 menu so buyer beware. For appetizers we ordered the Maguro Truffle and Brussels Sprouts, which were recommended by the waitress. Both appetizers were fresh and delicious and came to our table pretty fast. We also ordered 2 drinks. The drinks were good but I felt for the price they were quite small. For our entrees I ordered 2 rolls from the bite30 menu, one roll had steak on top and I believe the other roll had fried shrimp in it. For the second entree it was the Berkwood St. Louis Sticky Ribs. The rolls were light, tasty, and some of the freshest sushi rolls I've ever had. The ribs were big, tender, and flavorful. The bite30 menu came with a lot of food and everything tasted well made with quality ingredients. For dessert we had carrot cake and ube cheesecake. The carrot cake was delicious, not overly sweet, and the perfect portion. I never had anything ube but ube cheesecake was amazing, creamy, flavorful, and also not overly sweet. Kabookie Sushi is a beautiful restaurant with amazing food and service to match. I highly recommend, especially for a date night. read more

Came for a birthday dinner. Service was good. Liked the side room much more than the main room. The main dining area is very loud. Prices are on the higher side but well reflected in the quality of the food. Drinks were great. Loved the serendipity mocktail. The udon dish was absolutely AMAZING. Nondairy but not lacking in creaminess, mushrooms were beautifully golden and packed with umami, green onions were a nice fresh bite, lime foam was the perfect acidity, noodles perfectly chewy QQ, roasted/confit garlic cloves added great flavor, truffle flavor well-balanced. 10/10 would order again. Eel sashimi was just okay, liked that it came with a seaweed salad underneath. Other members of the party loved their sushi rolls. General consensus was that food was tasty just a bit pricy! Kabooki Sushi rates somewhere between four and five stars for me, so Yelp's average rating is spot on: 4.4 stars with 1.1k reviews. The food, drink, and service were solid. This review is for Kabooki Sushi's original location, East Colonial, in Northeast Orlando. It opened in April 2013. A second location opened in Sand Lake, closer to the resorts and theme parks, in May 2019. Shout-out to our friend and Orlando native Anand Deshpande for recommending Kabooki. He said both locations are good. We visited on an ordinary Monday night and the restaurant was fairly busy when we arrived at 7:45pm. Our original reservation was for 7:15pm. We got delayed, called the restaurant, and they were kind enough to accommodate us 30 minutes late. Kabooki shares a building with Foxtail Coffee Co. There's free parking around the building. During out visit at night, the dining room and bar had a somewhat trendy vibe. "Contemporary Japanese cuisine" is how the business is marketed, so it's got more Asian fusion and Westernized elements, as opposed to a traditional Japanese restaurant. The interior design is modern and stylish. You can dress up or down. I saw groups dressed both ways. This spot is ideal for a nice, romantic date night thanks to the dim ambient lighting. We had a party of five, sat at one of the round tables, and celebrated our friend's birthday. In addition to nigiri, sashimi, and rolls, Kabooki offers omakase and moriwase (chef's choice meals; not necessarily sushi). They have a decent sushi selection and also offer several non-sushi Japanese dishes like tempura, karaage (Japanese deep-fried chicken), and udon noodles. They have a full bar with cocktails and a wide variety of sake. Here's what my wife and I had: Hot Sake and Cocktails * Sho Chiku Bai "Classic" Junmai sake - large (9 oz) carafes x2 ($12 each) * Green Goddess ($16) - Gin Lane 1751, cucumber watermelon mint infused, cucumber oleo, lemon, topped with Jozen sparkling sake Chef's Daily Choices (Specials Menu) - Cold Tastings * Bluefin Tasting ($50) - akami, chutoro, otoro, fresh-grated wasabi, housemade tosa soy Cold Tastings * Hamachi Carpaccio ($22) - Japanese yellowtail, yuzu tobiko, ponzu, kaffir lime oil, yuzu kosho, serrano peppers * Leche de Tigre ($19) - torched salmon, truffle pate, kizami wasabi, aji amarillo, smoked trout roe, sunchoke chips Hot Tastings * One Up ($16) - butter-roasted local mushrooms, sunchoke puree, cured egg yolk, togarashi panko * Pork Jowl Nabe ($21) - furikake rice, bonito flakes, shiitake garlic chips, egg yolk, soy dashi Housemade Sweets * Ube Cheesecake ($14) - Graham cracker crust, ube jam, topped with torched meringue, toasted coconut A few of us shared a couple bottles of hot sake, the Sho Chiku Bai "Classic" Junmai listed above. It was cheap sake, but good enough. It served its purpose and I think everyone was satisfied with it. My wife ordered the Green Goddess cocktail and loved it. I had a couple sips and thought it was great. It was refreshing and tasty. My wife liked the presentation. The drink was served in a beer mug. Our friend got a Japanese Highball, which was served in a beer mug as well. It looked cool with long, clear, cocktail ice. She enjoyed her cocktail too. It's made with Suntory Whisky Toki. In general, the food both looked and tasted terrific. Every dish was plated carefully and presented beautifully. The Nabe (Japanese-style hot pot) was finished at the table. Our table ordered two of those. Two servers came at the same time to crack eggs and mix all the ingredients together. The dish was very flavorful and satisfying, rich and full of umami. The crispy bits of rice on the surface of the hot pot reminded me of eating Korean stone bowl mixed rice (bibimbap); similar. The Bluefin Tasting was excellent. We got three kinds of tuna sashimi: (1) akami, which is cut from the fish's upper back and spine and (2 and 3) chutoro and otoro, which are medium fatty and most fatty tuna belly, respectively. All slices were fresh, thick cut, and tasted amazing. The chutoro and otoro melted in our mouths, the otoro especially. Both of the Cold Tastings, the Hamachi Carpaccio and the Leche de Tigre, were delicious. Both dishes were flavorful, but not overpowering. Again, they were plated carefully with a fine attention to detail. My wife and I love mushrooms, which is why we ordered the One Up. While it was good, it wasn't memorable. Save room for dessert because I thought the Ube Cheesecake was fantastic. It was unique and sweet, but not too sweet. Service was great. We noticed that our primary server was also one of the bartenders. He was friendly, polite, knowledgeable, and on top of things. read more
As someone who constantly drives by Kabooki and finally decided to try it, sadly this one was kind of a let down. My partner and I sat at the bar and decided to order a couple of rolls and the Pork Nabe and the flavors for us ideally weren't ultimately there. The service was quick but the waiters themselves were not attentive and to be honest kind of dismissive that we were even there entirely. As a lover of sushi, the presentation was nice but it kind of tasted a bit bland and lacked depth in the flavor profile of each roll as every single one tasted exactly the same but all were curated of different seafoods. Kabooki will be receiving a 3/5 for the fact that the decor inside was nice but the service and food for the price that was payed didn't match my desired expectation. read more
Ambience is wonderful. Chill vibes with house music in the lounge and plenty of seating in the restaurant side. The portions were a little small for the prices but all the fish was very fresh. I was taken back by the salmon nigiri since it had wasabi underneath but overall it was good. I highly recommend the lychee princess cocktail, it's perfectly balanced. If you decide to visit Kabooki, the parking is limited. However, there is onsite valet. read more
