Date night done right! This sushi spot is tucked into a shopping strip (next to Foxtail, which felt a *little* random at first), but the moment we walked in, it was a total vibe shift. Elegant, cozy, and instantly inviting. Hubby and I shared two different sushi rolls (fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented), shrimp, plus some crispy chicken bites and brussel sprouts that seriously deserve their own spotlight. The service? Top-tier. Attentive without hovering, super welcoming, and made the whole experience feel special. And let's not forget complimentary valet = immediate bonus points.

Came here on a Friday night and it was busy! The location is unassuming, right off of 50. There's not a lot of parking so you may need to plan for that. You can park behind the building but it was unclear to me if it was a tow a way zone or not. For Kabooki Sushi, the ambiance was low light and romantic (I needed the little lamp light). The service was on point (water glasses filled and plates cleared immediately). The food was delicious (gone too fast!). The two rolls I tried were delicious. The LC had beef on top and was savory. The Hawaii XO was refreshing. The apps were good portions for the price point. They also had some chef specials that were not so budget friendly lol. Overall, this is a nice spot to have a dinner with a less casual vibe.

Went here with friends to celebrate our engagement and the staff were incredible. We sat down with a chilled bottle of champagne already at the table and our server immediately poured us all glasses to cheers with. This is one of my all time favorite restaurants so it's always a fantastic experience. I've had almost everything on the menu but some dishes I gravitate towards are the tuna truffle cold tasting dish, miso soup, scallop nigiri, tuna nigiri, all the rolls are fabulous, the udon noodles, mushroom dumplings, and nigiri flight of 10 picked from the chef. I'm usually getting an assortment of those every time I come. The fish here is such a high grade of fish compared to other spots in town. Everything tastes so fresh and of great quality. I could eat plain sashimi here with nothing on it and be overjoyed.

Food was amazing, not pictured but we started with the truffle parmesan edamame and it was VERY good. The wagu that you cook on the hot rock was buttery soft and the bookibooki roll was my favorite. Bookibooki is warm and good quality. 5 of us got the kiwi elderflower and tequila drink that was on special that night and it was great. Everyone was happy with their food, however it's worth noting the wait and service took quite a while. We waited at least 30 minutes before getting our first drink, and didn't order our dinner for about an hour after arriving. Worth it and will be back again and again!

Taste: 5/5 Value: 3/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Beautiful, upscale sushi spot with really delicious food. This seems like the perfect place for a special occasion or a memorable date night. The prices are definitely on the higher side for the portion sizes, but the quality and flavor made it feel like a worthwhile splurge. Service was friendly and attentive, and overall, we had an awesome time.

Incredible food! This is some of the best sushi I've had in a very long time. Get the Hawaii x.o ( I could eat this every day) We also enjoyed the maguro truffle Portions are smaller, and you pay a premium, but you are getting quality food. The ambiance was great, we sat at the bar. Cocktails looked amazing-will try next time!

We hadn't been to Kabooki in years!! So glad we decided to do a date night here again, we were way overdue. The resturant got a facelift since then. It looked very modern and sleek. Our server was wonderful and the best part was obviously, the food! We started with drinks and I loved my Lychee Princess. Then we got an order of the garlic teriyaki edamame for the table, which was tasty. I love a little flair to my edamame. Next, I did the tuna nigiri sampler. This came with a lean, mixed and full fatty piece of tuna. Each bite was better than the last. I also ordered a separate piece of yellowtail (one of my favorites). The nigiri here is solid. But my favorite thing here were the maki rolls. I tried the hokkaido roll, which was crab, avocado, topped with raw scallops and black garlic. I also tried the tom yum roll, shrimp tempura, avocado, topped with torched salmon and a tom yum aioli. And we finished with the ube cheesecake, which was incredible! It is safe to say we will not let a couple of years go by before our next visit!

The food is where this place really shines. The sushi tasted incredibly fresh, with clean flavors and thoughtful combinations. The brussel sprouts with peach balsamic glaze is a must. The shishito pepper were also good (although could've been blistered more). The LV roll with wagyu was a standout and felt indulgent in the best way. It is not something you see everywhere and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The Hawaii XO roll with beet brought a savory depth, while maintaining a bright refreshing finish. You can tell care goes into the ingredients and presentation. The drinks were also excellent. We had a cherry old fashioned and the "Don't Make Me Blush" (guava and yuzu cocktail) and both were beautifully balanced and well crafted. They complemented the meal perfectly and added to the overall experience. I went on a weekend night and it was lively but not overwhelming. Overall, it is a great choice when you want high quality sushi in a more upscale setting and are looking to make a night of it rather than just grab a quick bite.

Kabuki Sushi is my go-to for high-quality raw fish in Orlando. The nigiri and sashimi are consistently fresh, with the hamachi always standing out. Solid drink menu, great late-night energy, and reliable execution every visit.

We visited Kabooki as part of Magical dining, but I'd encourage anyone hoping to try this place out to NOT wait and visit as soon as you can! The food there was very nicely presented, and each of the sushi rolls, appetizers, entrees, and desserts carried very unique flavors. I've had some great sushi in the past, and I would put Kabooki's offerings in that list, if not just above my list of greats. The service was attentive. The servers weren't in your way or constantly in your face, but you knew they were nearby if you needed help. The ambience: dimly lit, not too loud at all, and it felt like a very posh dining establishment. Great date night place. They do have a complimentary valet, however our valet was expecting a tip. Parking is very difficult without using the valet, so that's the only part I didn't like about the entire experience. Overall though, this was one of my favorite dinings experiences in Orlando and will definitely go back!

Overall, the meal was well. We got the otoro nigiri, the the chill roll, the Tom Yom roll, Hawaii XO roll, kaarage chicken, and a miso soup. Besides the Kaarage chicken, I'd order all of them again. The Kaarage chicken tasted fine, but sauced pretty heavy for Kaarage, came with a great dipping sauce, but it was only six medium size and medium quality nuggets for way too much money. That was similar to the theme of the rest of the dinner, the rolls were superb and tasty, but the value on most of the rolls was not there, even for my low expectations of portion sizes at a fancier, high end sushi spots the rolls seemed like they had less circumference than other top-line sushi restaurants. Flavorful but decrease the price or increase the portion sizes all it can be a go-to sushi place here and Orlando. Service was fantastic and ambience felt a bit clubbish in areas but good enough'

Had the best birthday dinner here, maybe the best dining experience of my life. My husband took me for my 27th and we did the magical dining menu. He asked for a private corner booth and even though it was taken at first we only waited about 10 minutes. While waiting I ordered the "Don't Make Me Blush" cocktail and it completely blew me away. It tasted exactly like biting into a fresh yuzu. No ice, just perfectly chilled, and beautifully presented with four drops of yuzu oil. Easily the best cocktail I've ever had. For starters we had the Tiger Cream and Hamachi Carpaccio. Both were excellent but the Tiger Cream with yuzu crème fraîche was unreal. The fish tasted impossibly fresh. For entrées we tried every roll offered which included the Tom Yum, Ghost, Hawaiian x.o, and Booki Booki. Each one was melt in your mouth perfection. The Tom Yum roll was my favorite but honestly every roll was amazing. Even their spicy mayo was the best I have ever had. For dessert my husband ordered the mochi trio while I went with the Ube cheesecake. That cheesecake was next level. The graham cracker crust was the perfect texture and the ube filling was moist, flavorful, and unforgettable. It was the best dessert I have ever eaten. Every single course was a 10/10. Service was quick, our server was attentive, and she even offered to take multiple photos of us. Overall it was the best dining experience I have ever had and we already booked another reservation for my husband's birthday on September 9. I cannot wait to go back.

My husband and I went to Kabooki for magical dining on my birthday. Overall, a great experience and I'm happy we got to go. I had been thinking about going to Kabooki for a long time and just waiting till the right moment. The restaurant was beautifully decorated on the inside with midcentury modern decor. It was bustling, clean, and elegant. Our server was helpful and kind, but it was a busy night so we had time to look over all the menu options as the staff caught up and we sipped on some sparkling water. Together my husband and I ordered tiger cream, wagyu carpaccio, shishito peppers, sticky ribs, Hawaii XO, ghost roll, and tom yum roll. For dessert we tried the matcha tiramisu and C4. The food was amazing and we especially loved the wagyu carpaccio, tiger cream, shishito peppers, Hawaii XO, and sticky ribs. The sushi, carpaccio, and salmon were so incredibly fresh. Peppers perfectly blistered in an amazing brothy sauce. My husband loved the rolls with char on top but I thought it was a little overpowering. The Hawaii XO roll was my favorite because I loved the citrusy/yuzu flavor. The matcha tiramisu was OK for me-- although I like matcha, I was expecting something a little more sweet for dessert. This dessert is truly for those who cannnot get enough of the earthy flavor matcha has to offer. It was light, tender, and creamy, and very matcha forward.

My Overall Rating - 2 Stars (Atmosphere, Food) Atmosphere - Seito Sushi Sand Lake is a beautiful restaurant. My first impression was great, as the modern décor and dark lighting gave it a very nice date night feeling. There is a long sushi bar with chill lighting and sushi chefs. There are square booths perfect for groups. And large, round orbital lights hang from the ceiling. This is a cool place. 1 Star. Service - While my first impression started great, it changed when I asked out server what I should order (I'm here as a tourist). He said their traditional items were great, and when I asked what they had that was traditional, he said the California roll. Uhh.... No Stars. Food - The sushi is very good, but you're in a resort area so it's very expensive. Dishes that were great and memorable: Beef carpaccio - the soft, tender beef was the highlight, but the real gem of this dish was the fried wonton chip that added great crunch and a little salt. The scallion tuna nigiri from the tuna tower (order this for your IG feed). And finally, the Hamachi crudo was a texture playground (Soft, crunchy, tangy, salty). My only other reservation was that it was very expensive. Then again, you get what you pay for. 1 Star. Will I Return? - No. I'm sorry, I can't return to a restaurant when my server's idea of traditional sushi is a California roll. Honestly, Seito Sushi is a very cool restaurant with a great menu. Just remember you're in a resort area so it can get pricey. No Stars.

The booth we sat in had a beautiful and asymmetrical heavy wooden table top polished to a brilliant shine, and there were a surprising number of diners there at noonish, on a Tuesday... what's that tell you? Now: the food! *First, for the technically challenged, be warned that the menu is available via phone and QR Code. If you want a printed menu, too bad. Otherwise... We began our meal with Agedashi Tofu, which is fried cubes of tofu that have a magnificently thin layer of a crisp skin encasing melted tofu, and there's a perfect sauce to dip them in. I have been thinking about these for an hour now and can't even imagine how they are made. A delicious magic trick! Next, we had an Eel and Shrimp Tempura Roll, a Shrimp Tempura Bento Box, and two Nigiri and Sashimi lunch specials. The Tempura was light and crisp. The bento box included a spring roll, fried rice, and gyoza, all perfectly flavored. The Nigiri and Sashimi fish was served cold and absolutely fresh, and was sliced generously. The Nigiri and Sushi lunches included a California roll, 4 pieces of sushi, and six pieces of sashimi, and really was a lot of excellent food for a bargain $24. I almost forgot that we started, along with the Agedashi Tofu, with a very subtly flavored miso soup with tofu and seaweed. This was also perfection, with just a breath of ginger and perfect salt. I hope I've convinced you fans of Japanese food to try this restaurant. If you're new to Japanese food's many varieties and intricacies, or hesitant to eat raw foods, there are always cooked meat and fish dishes like Tempura or Teriyaki you can order, and then you can explore by tasting the more exotic things your friends and family order. Maybe you'll develop a taste for it! If you already have a taste for Japanese food, don't pass up an opportunity to eat a wonderful meal at Mikado, in MetroWest.

The seating was comfortable, and despite how popular the restaurant is, everything felt well organized. It was a great place to relax and enjoy a meal with family and friends. The ramen absolutely lived up to the hype. The broth was rich, creamy, and packed with deep umami flavor without feeling overly salty or heavy. You could tell it had been simmered for hours because every spoonful had so much depth. The noodles were cooked perfectly--firm and chewy with just the right amount of bite, so they held up well in the broth from the first bite to the last. The biggest surprise of the meal was actually the chicken wings. I ordered them because they seemed to be a popular appetizer, but they ended up stealing the show. They were incredibly crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside, and coated with a flavorful glaze that had the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and a little bit of heat. I can definitely see why so many people recommend ordering them alongside the ramen. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our visit, making the overall experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I can see why DOMU is considered one of Orlando's top ramen spots. Between the flavorful broth, perfectly textured noodles, unforgettable chicken wings, and welcoming atmosphere, it was a meal that exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Orlando.

Sip & Savor 2026 Review!…read more Wow, it's been just over a year since I've been back to the OG Domu in Audubon Park at East End Market. We decided to go try for a table as the Sip & Savor promo was going and on this weekend afternoon it had rained hard so we thought the crowds would be dissipated. Spoiler alert, they were not and we walked into a 2-hour wait! Folks, Domu does not take reservations so you almost always have a wait! Keep in mind that the wait time they quote is often higher than what you'll actually have to wait. In any event, we will were lucky to get a seat at the busy bar then the other seat when the guest eating alone got up and left (Nice)! The menu is largely the same. It hasn't changed much over the years. Yes, they have seasonal specials from time to time but they are relying on their classic goodness that has sustained them for 10 years. Keep in mind, much has changed in the past 10 years, including in the ramen scene. Nevertheless, the drink menu has their classic cocktails and some new ones as well. At the bar we had a couple beverages and we also tried the bok choy appetizer. The bok choy is charred and comes with a lemon slice and is a simple, yet delicious, first dish to eat. At about the 1 hour and 10 minutes, our seat always ready. Keep in mind, I went with the kitchen seats which probably added some extra time but well under the 2-hour initial quote. Sitting at the table with views into the kitchen is always on point in my opinion. You tend to get better service overall and you get to see different aspects of the kitchen and how it operates. The Sip and saver promo was the same as last year. It includes three of their classic wings, the Richie Rich ramen, and the soft serve of the moment which today was Cookie monster. Both the wings and the Richie Rich ramen were on point and still contain that classic goodness that put them on the map! Overall, Domu hasn't changed and for some, that's a good thing. Even the menu prices are fair IMO for bowl of ramen, protein, a few vegetables. The drinks are around $12 which is fairly priced. I continue to see that the sale of alcohol has gone way down as compared to previous generations and I did see a number of tables with just water. As a supporter, I would suggest Domo invest in mocktails and or promoting them more. I haven't visited the other Domu locations, but, I would wager that this location is due for a refresh. Side note, The Cookie monster was okay (Kelly's ice cream is a better version). If you're going to stay with classic goodness then bring back the honey vanilla that used to be around!

It can get a little loud because they get busy and everyone is having a great time. The space is very modern and stylized.

The food was okay overall, but the quality and service were very disappointing…read more Some of the beef was extremely tough, with too much connective tissue and tendon. The beef ribs were mostly fat and still very tough to chew. The chicken was woody breast, making it dry and very difficult to eat. The rice was even worse. They replaced it three times. The first two batches were hard, and the third batch was actually undercooked. The service was by far the biggest disappointment. Even though ordering is done on an iPad, they still kept forgetting items. We had to remind the staff multiple times before the food finally arrived. Every dish took 10-15 minutes or longer to arrive, yet customers are expected to finish their meal within a 90-minute time limit. This is a Japanese BBQ restaurant where the staff is simply bringing out raw meat for customers to grill at the table. There is really no reason it should take 10-15 minutes to deliver each order. To make it even more frustrating, the restaurant wasn't even busy. During our entire meal, there were only two or three other tables occupied, so it's hard to understand why the service was so slow and disorganized. To make matters worse, an 18% service charge was automatically added to the bill. I don't mind paying a service charge for good service, but charging that much when the service is this slow and disappointing feels completely unjustified. Our bill was over $210 for three people, and that didn't even include any drinks. At that price, there are many better Japanese BBQ options available. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back, and I can't recommend this place.
