Sushi Saints get a lot of love around here. They're owned by some pretty popular people around town. They even have some hype behind them for being on the Michelin Guide. So one evening, we decided to come see what all the fuss was about. No regrets, as it was a wonderful evening. Ambiance is super swank. This place is the epitome of upscale lounge. The food prep area was open concept, the shades were all drawn, and the chairs were real low. You couldn't help but relax here. Service was also top notch. We had a very friendly fellow who was very attentive all night. He was good at reading the room. He started off a little stuffy, but relaxed a bit when he learned we were chill and not uppity mucks. Good guy. Now for the food. We got quite a few items. We indulge as much as we can. Sichuan Cucumber (Persian cucumbers in a honey chili garlic glaze with lime). These were nice. The cucumbers were star of the show, super crispy and fresh and bright. And glaze adds a little hot, little garlicky kick. A very lovely start. Tako Hush Puppies (Crispy fried Octopus made into a soft yet crunchy ball with black garlic aioli, bonito flakes, togarashi, scallions). These were lovely! The octopus was cut small enough to where there was a good perfusion of meat throughout the ball. Very satisfying crunch outside, along with that super soft interior. Perfection. We got like six Temaki. This is what Saint is famous for, so we wanted a good variety. I won't list them all to exhaustion, but the truly unique ones were the scallop one, with that luscious brown butter, and that crab one, with the miso butter aioli. Wow, these were just super memorable little bites. We finished off with the Crunchy Shrimp Roll + Unagi (Shrimp tempura and avocado topped with rich eel and bold black garlic aioli). This was a good roll. Pretty standard, nothing super memorable about it. I would personally just get more temaki. But if you're just into rolls, you will not be disappointed. Overall, this place lived up to the hype. Lots of style, and lots of substance. I would definitely return here.

Pros: Ambiance is very nice. Feels like a bar in a big city, which is what I want Orlando to start being considered. Service was very nice. The guy was very personable, and the food came out at a good pace, allowing for very little downtime. The food was delicious. A temaki bar is a very new and unique concept for Orlando, and they executed it very well. Every flavor combination was on point. Cons: No real cons. The chairs were real low, so after a long time of sitting, just prepare for a great effort to stand. Lol. Tips: Don't worry about getting rolls. There are more than enough temakis to keep you satisfied. Also, the apps were in comparison a little lackluster. So again, prioritize the temakis. I think .

The ambiance, the service and the food here were PHENOMENAL! I cannot express more how I will definitely be back. The happy hours on Mondays are such a nice way to have a date night on a budget or a girls night out. I am so happy that I was able to try this place out since we have tried it at Yelp Elite events but never at the restaurant! Absolutely incredible and I will be back!

Went to Sushi Saint once when it first opened and I remember thinking it was just ok, but went recently again and left with a better view! The fish and rice were fresh and I enjoyed every hand roll pairings I ordered. The decor isn't my preferred aesthetic for a restaurant so I definitely prefer sitting at the bar vs dining room. However the attentive service and quality food makes up.

Ambiance, Service, superb quality We already can't wait to return.... The small bites were so good! A great variety. We also sampled the mocktails which did not disappoint. Hand rolls (which they are known for) were top tier, you can't have just one! We had a table visit and got some great nigiri recommendations.

Such a fun date night! The Bluefin Tuna Set was our favorite, but the Chef 3 set was also great. The cool part about the Chef 3 set is that it is designed for 2 people, so it comes with 2 of each piece. Also had the Ave Maria set, but didn't get pictures, because if you sit at the bar, it is handed to you as it is ready. Our favorites from that set were 3. Truffle Mushroom Jam, and 5. Scallop, brown butter, yuzu. I really liked the way that soy sauce is served, in a dropper bottle! It made it so easy to use the exact amount you want!

Great handrolls! However, definitely overpriced. Nice service but the music is so loud it's kind of hard to have a conversation. Might do better with dinner vibes instead of bar vibes. Still great food and a nice experience!!

This place has been on my radar since it opened, and I FINALLY was able to try it :) the staff were very friendly and seemed happy to be there, and the decor was very modern looking (I forgot to take pictures of the inside). They were playing Jujutsu Kaisen on a projector screen (one of my favorite animes) so that is a major plus for me! I will say the restaurant gave a bit more of a casual vibe... but that's what made it so relaxing and nice. Let's start with the parking situation: you will probably have to pay for parking in the lot right next to Sushi Saint. It was hourly rates and pretty cheap. They only have like 2-3 spots in the front for free parking. We started with our beverages (sake and cocktails) as well as two appetizers: the Sunomono and the Shishito Peppers. The Sunomono was refreshing and delicious. The peppers were quite savory and not spicy at all (thank God because I have zero spice tolerance). Overall the appetizers were very light and delicious. The drinks were great too! We ordered two temaki and three rolls. The fish here is very fresh. The soy sauce dropper was actually a genius idea. It allowed me to put soy sauce on the temaki without having to angle it and dip it in a little soy sauce bowl. My favorite roll that we had was the Truffle Salmon. We actually ordered another Truffle Salmon after we finished eating because it was THAT good. I do think the prices were a little high, but the quality in the fish is definitely there. One thing that I didn't really like besides having to pay for parking is that it was really warm inside. I know this is Florida, and it's summer so I'm gonna give the benefit of the doubt with their AC system. That isn't deterring me from coming back though. I definitely want to try out their happy hour next time!

I LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH! My favorite restaurant ever! The first time I visited this place (not pictured), we did their omakase with caviar bump. BEST OMAKASE IN ORLANDO FOR THE PRICE!! I love how interactive the chef and his assistant were!! Second time, I went for their hand rolls since this is what they are known for, I liked the hand rolls it was very tasty and good balance of all flavors. It is a bit pricey, but definitely WORTH IT

What a wonderful experience. The place is super cute. You feel as if you're in a large living room, a great room. Service was excellent. We had Emma for our server. She was super sweet and attentive. She's very knowledgeable on the menu items and offered us great suggestions. We started out with drinks and miso soups. We then ordered a CRAB + WAGYU* and a SHRIMP TEMPURA + SPICY TUNA* Then we ordered two more SHRIMP TEMPURA + SPICY TUNA* (so good) We just couldn't get enough. Everything was wonderful. Only negative an automatic 18% tip charge and a 2% credit card charge is also automatically included. This is very annoying to me as it will be to others. Gratuity should be determined by the guest. For good service I will give a good tip bad service I do not. And the CC charge is your fee to do business. If you want to charge that fee then offer your customer a cash option. I drove here from Sarasota just to dine at Sushi Saint. These 2 company procedures make me wonder if there will be another visit.

The decor is beautiful. There was a DJ the night I went which I was a bit apprehensive about at first, but it did add a nice vibe. Drinks were good. I can't remember the names but I had a rum based drink and then a gin based one. I went during Bite 30 and started off with the corn appetizer which was delicious. For the main, I got two hand rolls which were super fresh and had amazing flavor. I was still hungry so I added on a roll and it was one of the best rolls I've ever had. The quality of the fish is top notch. For dessert I had the mango mochi. I parked in the lot across from the restaurant, using the Park mobile app. You can add more time to your parking right from your phone.

The food at Sushi Saint was tasty--especially the hand rolls and the elote, which were fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The quality of the ingredients really stood out. The service was friendly and the restaurant had a nice ambiance. That said, I left feeling frustrated. The menu prices are already on the high side, and I was surprised by hidden fees and an automatic 18% tip added to the bill. I'm happy to tip for good service, but it felt sneaky on top of already overpriced food--especially without any clear notice upfront. Great food, but the pricing and added charges took away from the overall experience.

Talk about a hidden gem! Don't let the outside fool you. Once you open the door it's like walking into another realm. Small and intimate - perfect place for a date. Rock our server was extremely knowledgeable in his presentation of the menu and gave great suggestions. The sushi is fresh and flavorful and not covered in sauce so you actually can taste the sushi. The honey garlic used on the edamame and the cucumbers needs to be bottled! So good!

They do have a wait staff that brings food to your table, but everything is self serve. You have to go up to the bar to order anything you want and get the check. All of the food is tapas style. We ordered quite a bit, including chicken meatballs, garlic fried rice, avocado, brussels sprouts, mushrooms, Korean fried chicken and the Wagyu dumplings. The standouts were the mushrooms and the brussel sprouts both of which were very savory and the brussel sprouts also had a little bit of sweetness. Overall, the food is good, but for a Michelin restaurant, I was pretty disappointed. I don't think it lives up to the hype. The food is just okay and personally, I think there's better tapas in Orlando, such as Bulla.

The karaage was highly disappointing, the sauce was overwhelming and made the fried chicken coating slightly soggy. I think a dry seasoning would've paired better. The beef cheek had nice presentation, but didn't really impress with the flavor; there's better places for yakitori. The otoro we got was decent. The ribs were my favorite of the night with good sauce and they fell off the bone. And then my real favorite of the night was the ube cheesecake, so delicious and flavorful! The Viet Coffee with sesame foam and crushed sesame seeds was hard to drink. I loved the initial flavors but the foam got a little greasy and clumpy when mixed with the crushed sesame seeds, particularly toward the second half of the coffee. I wouldn't order it again. I would be interested to see any updates they've made recently but with so many new restaurants on Mills, I may choose those first.

Sushi Tomi is one of the original secret Asian American staples of Orlando that opened in 2013 back when Orlando was known as Mickey Mouse's backyard. It's decently priced, albeit far, and provides a nice sense of comfort. We went on a week night and they were still super busy. Located closer to East Colonial area, it's at 8463 S John Young Pkwy, Orlando, FL 32819. Their claim to fame are their bento boxes and different lunch and dinner sets, which is to say you will leave full with a balanced meal. I won't lie, I have been wanting to go for the longest time. I felt like some kid pressing his face up against a window, just watching everyone go and enjoy their meal. So this was really great for me, personally. I got their dinner tempura and sushi set. The set came with miso soup and salad as well as a variety of meats and veggies that had been tempura coated and fried with a side of rice. I also ordered a sparkling jelly sake drink, a tamago nigiri and eel nigiri. My overall portion costed about $45 without tip. The set gets a 8.5/10 rating from me. I kinda wish I just went with the tempura set instead of trying to have the best of both worlds. Not that the sushi was bad or anything, but the tempura was really the star of the show. It was so fresh and crispy and light and amazing with the sauce they served it with. The sushi was fine and well made, I just had heart eyes for the tempura. The tamale nigiri and the eel nigiri was good, but not the best I have ever had. They had other things on their menu, but I really recommend going here for Japanese basic meals or comfort meals. I think it's not dazzling, but provides you with a sense of comfort. Not to mention the service was amazing, and it truly was authentic and not gentrified. My overall rating is 9/10 for the whole experience. I will be back whenever I am in the area.

The place is pretty small and they don't take reservations so be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes. We got there 25 minutes after opening and waited 40 minutes. The parking gets filled fast along with overflow parking being full so be prepared to find a spot.
