#SUPPORTLOCALBUSINESSES Everything about dinner was great. I love when a casual date night turns into an unexpectedly special time. The space inside is very intimate so it's great for a date or celebration meal with someone you love. If you're into high quality seafood and a small menu with unique options this is a great place to try. I can say me and my partner were making bets on who would get the last piece of every plate we had. Alsooooo, all the ingredients are sources locally with some ingredients grown by the chefs themselves. That type of flavor is unique and easy to identify when you taste how fresh everything is.

This location has only been open a month and to tell you I was completely shocked would be an understatement! Our server Ashley made our experience worthwhile and the food was paced perfectly and grew incredibly more delectable with every single bite! We started off with the Honey Garlic Edamame which had my partner and I debating if we should order thirds of edamame because it was simply that good! Followed that up with a hamachi truffle potato sashimi which was the perfect sweet and milky treat and honestly might have been one of my favorite bites of the night! Moving onto the handrolls all though we tried a couple, the A5 Wagyu & mushroom, the Crab with miso butter, and the seared scallop were soft, buttery, tender, and seasoned to perfection. Consider these three handrolls unskippable next time you stop by! And I know what you're thinking what sushi roll do you get?? We got three of them! We got the spicy tuna roll, the A5 Wagyu & crab, and hamachi and to be honest? All of them were top tier you truly couldn't go wrong! You'll catch us coming back without a doubt!

We celebrated Galentine's Day at the new Sushi Saint in Winter Park and overall had a great experience! The atmosphere is trendy and lively without feeling overwhelming, and the presentation of each dish was beautiful. Our server, Kevin, was super friendly and gave awesome recommendations that really elevated the experience. He was attentive without hovering and made the night feel easy and fun. We started with the caviar donut and the caviar was definitely the standout there and absolutely delicious. I also had the Kurasawa to drink, which paired really nicely with the meal and felt like a fun, elevated choice. For rolls, I ordered the spicy tuna hand roll along with the crab and wagyu sushi roll. Both were fresh and flavorful, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. My friend ordered the hamachi potato truffle sushi, and that was honestly one of the most enjoyable bites of the night! Super well balanced and unique without being over the top. Overall, Sushi Saint delivers a creative menu, solid flavors, and a great vibe. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for something a little different from your typical sushi spot.

Our server was incredible. She had an amazing personality and service was on point! My favorite was the tuna sashimi... followed closely by the mochi dessert!

So if you're a long time Central Florida resident, then you know that street is very walkable and super cute with the park nearby but also high end. I mean it has a Williams Sonoma, like casually. The restaurant is located at 525 S Park Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789. My boyfriend did get the reservation I think about a month in advance. It very much surprised me as one of my goals is to try new places in Orlando, and this was one that he had been to that I hadn't been to. So A++++ for him. So the restaurant had a super nice atmosphere but was very booked out. There were heart balloons at every table. So the decor was absolutely in the room with us lol. The service was very nice and I feel that they were very attentive and almost felt like maybe they had been trained to provide a certain feeling to customers. I'm sure they had been. Getting into the food, I'm not sure what the bill was. I wasn't allowed to look at it. I will say that I'm sure it was at least $100. I did leave feeling very full, but I do feel like that's a lot of money for me to feel full. We ordered the Misoyaki Butterfish, which was a Miso-glazed Chilean sea bass on a plate with ginger-sake eggplant, butter garlic sautéed spinach, and Japanese potato purée. It's a large plate and we did share, but it was not the whole fish. I think if I pay $45 for a fish, I want the whole fish. My rating is 8.5/10. It was incredibly delicious, but I want the rest of my fish. We also got the Kanpungi, which was fried Korean style boneless chicken bites smothered in a spicy soy sauce glaze. My rating of this is 9/10. I think it was great and was very filling for an appetizer. We accidentally ran into our friends at the restaurant, who had sent us a bottle of sake. The sake was great. We sent back a non-alcoholic cocktail they had and a sake based cocktail. I couldn't tell you what it tasted like, but the service presented and delivered back and forth between our table in a manner I can only describe as carrier pigeon-esque. They did great. I love fanfare. I think for a first date, this is a great place to bring someone you have been talking to for a little bit and want to show that you have a good stable job in this economy and like foods outside of American food. I wasn't on a first date as a note lol. My overall rating is 7.5/10. I mean I think everything was great, but that price stabbed me a little. My boyfriend did suggest to me that it would have been a higher rating if we had gotten one of the rolls. So that's on me. It is in a great walkable neighborhood though. So you are getting charged for ambiance.

This time I went with my husband and we ordered a few small plates and an espresso martini. The espresso martini was pretty standard, but we've definitely had better. The shishito peppers were okay, but I feel like I've gotten more in the past with an order. The karaage was highly disappointing, the sauce was overwhelming and made the fried chicken coating slightly soggy. I think a dry seasoning would've paired better. The beef cheek had nice presentation, but didn't really impress with the flavor; there's better places for yakitori. The otoro we got was decent. The ribs were my favorite of the night with good sauce and they fell off the bone. And then my real favorite of the night was the ube cheesecake, so delicious and flavorful! The service was great and the server was helpful in bringing us a happy hour menu after we asked. Interior was dark and had good vibes for a date night.

Food was quickly prepared and we barely waited for appetizers or entrees. The rolls were well made and portion size was relatively filling. I was thrilled that I made the choice to visit this restaurant for the first time. I was warmly greeted and seated right away. In fact, I entered right after opening time. My server was kind and unobtrusive. I perused the menu and she brought water while I was making my decisions. I opted for my standard, reliable choice of fried gyoza. There wasn't anything too extraordinary about this dish, but I was happy that the gyoza didn't taste stale. What really struck me was the delicious, nicely presented, tasty combination of flavors that I found in the Drama Queen roll. This roll contains spicy tuna, avocado, tempura flakes, yellowtail, jalepeno, black tobiko and spicy kimchee sauce. It was so delicious. And fresh! Way to go, Boku! I also ordered a Shrimp Tempura roll that contained avocado, butter lettuce, shrimp tempura, eel sauce and masago. I don't think I've had makimono with lettuce, but I was pleasantly surprised at the taste and texture. The interior seemed modern and had varying tones of gray. There's also a patio and you'll find a selection of beers and wine, including sake.

Let's start with props for being open at that time on a day when most restaurants are still sleeping from the night before. But here, you can get highly-curated, quality Japanese hand-rolls, with Sapporo or Asahi on draft, all kinds of sake, a calm, soothing atmosphere and friendly service. The place itself is very art-directed, modern and purposeful. Apparently it's owned by the Kabooki Sushi team, and the quality speaks for itself. It's not your typical sushi restaurant. It's hand rolls. Which means, seaweed is the wrap. Theirs is imported straight from Japan. And for the record, the seaweed is dense, flavorful and also way healthier for you than a mouthful of rice. I sat for the omakase which included a very delicious hamachi appetizer. Then an onslaught of handrolls including lobster, eel, a lean and fatty tuna (toro, the best) and a spicy root vegetable of the name I can't remember. In all, this place has great hours. A wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. And flavors that you can explore because the folks there want you to have fun eating the food as they prepare it. It's very live and fresh. And I'm super grateful it's just a few blocks away because I'll leave you with this. The prices are reasonable too. 5 stars all around. But be careful, I hear it gets packed during peak evening hours. Bravo though. Mosonori has a place in Orlando's culinary scene, for sure.
