First time trying this spot and it was a 10/10 experience! They have a nice happy hour, staff were beyond pleasant and the overall ambiance is amazing. It was well lit, air conditioned and maintained. I was very comfortable eating there and feel the quality of fish used for the sushi I ordered was great. Definitely recommend people visit if they're in the area.

Delicious Philly rolls, friendly staff, and a lovely lake view. Great spot for takeout or dining in -- I highly recommend!

Lunch Chirashi

We came in for lunch and had a great experience. This is one of my favorite spots and they have a fantastic lunch menu. This time, I got the chirashi. It was fantastic! Beautiful presentation, plenty of fresh proteins, and so much rice! I loved every part. Service was fantastic and we had a good time. You can't beat fresh sushi and a lake view!

Delicious sushi! Nice views, great customer service. We love the crispy tuna rice, the Toyota roll and they have tons of other great options at reasonable prices!

I haven't been here in years, but it was just as good as I remembered. I was a little worried since the name had changed since then, but the menu was overall the same. We got the spicy lobster roll, Totoya Roll, and some edamame. It was all amazing. The quality of the fish and sushi rice impressed me, and prices were fair. They also had a decent wine and sake list.

Came here for a hot lunch on a cold day and it did not disappoint. Our service was very attentive and the restaurant has gorgeous lake views. The lunch combinations are a good value and the waiter was knowledgeable of the menu.

BFF and Foxy Lady

Back again for amazing sushi! I ordered my favorites again and they're always great! We added a volcano and miso soup to the usual BFF roll, foxy lady roll and nigiri regular. Service is quick and we never have an issue getting seats without a reservation if you go early enough.

Absolutely great service and delicious food. I am definitely coming back and definitely recommend this place

Seaworld Roll

Was visiting the area and decided to stop here for dinner. We came like within the last hour of them being open and they were so kind to us as they were preparing to close. I ordered the miso soup and then two rolls, the sea world roll and the crazy roll. Everything I had was delicious. All the food was fresh tasting and the crazy roll pieces were so big and filling. Really enjoyed my choices. The other girls in my group enjoyed their dinners as well. If you're in the area, I would recommend stopping here! Great food and great service. I believe our server's name was Zhenni and she was awesome.

We had another wonderful meal. This time Uber Eats delivery! John tried something different: the Totoyo roll. He liked it. I got my usual: Sea World roll, AAC roll and Edemame and as usual no gluten problem!

Received it to go so can't speak to service or ambiance but the food was great!! Used their sushi for my sushi board at a party. Yum!!!!

I was eager to try Toyota Sushi after reading all the glowing reviews, but I have to admit, I wasn't as impressed as I had hoped. I decided to treat my wife to a lovely day out with lunch and shopping, and Toyota Sushi was one of the top places on our list to visit while in the area. We arrived around 1:30 pm on Thursday, 1/2/25. Unfortunately, the timing wasn't ideal--there was a delivery happening at the same time, and the kitchen's main doors (normally kept closed) were wide open for the delivery driver. The view of the kitchen and the disorganization inside was off-putting, and it wasn't just due to the delivery; it left a lasting impression. The main entrance to the restaurant is located to the left of the delivery area, and you have to push aside a curtain with a symbol on it to enter. It felt a bit strange. Once inside, there's a small vestibule adorned with Polaroid photos on the walls, but it wasn't clear who they were of or why they were there. Were they employees or customers? The lack of context added to the overall confusion. As we made our way into the reception area, we noticed a wooden decorative piece hanging from the ceiling, which was covered in a layer of dust--definitely unappealing. We were greeted promptly and seated without delay, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. However, the longer we stayed, the more we noticed how dirty and dusty everything was. It started to make us wonder, if the dining area and restrooms were in such a condition, what might the kitchen look like? If you visit, take a moment to look UP--the umbrellas and metal framework supporting the lighting may look good from a distance, but up close, they're covered in years of dust. Sadly, this issue seemed to extend to almost everything in the dining area and restrooms, including the plastic flowers. Another noteworthy aspect was the volume of the music. The first table we were seated at had a beautiful view of Pearl Lake, which would've been great, but the music was so loud that we had to request a move to a quieter booth. On a positive note, our server, Royce, was attentive and friendly--thank you, Royce, for your excellent service! If you decide to dine here, I recommend requesting him as your server. As for the food, we had a good experience. I ordered the Chicken and Steak Hibachi with fried rice ($15.95), which came with a choice of soup or salad. I opted for the salad with ginger dressing, which was delicious. Nancy chose the "Any 3 Sushi Rolls" ($17.95), which included a California Roll, Crunch Spicy Tuna Roll, and Shrimp Tempura Roll, and she also selected a side salad. The salads arrived quickly and were fresh, with the ginger dressing being particularly tasty. Soon after, Royce brought out our meals. I have to say, the hibachi and sushi were both delicious. My steak was cooked perfectly to medium, and the chicken had great flavor. Nancy really enjoyed the shrimp tempura roll, though she wasn't as fond of the crunchy spicy tuna roll. I, on the other hand, thought the spicy tuna roll was quite good. Overall, while the food and service were good, the cleanliness issues were hard to overlook, and I'm not sure I would return. It's a shame, as the food had potential, but the restaurant's condition left much to be desired.

Came here for lunch January 2nd 2025. My first impression walking in the door was it seemed a little dirty, As I inspected it more yep... it needs a good cleaning. Dust and cobwebs on lights and plastic plants. I am majorly allergic to dust. I don't know how long this place has been here but definitely needs an upgrade. All those plastic plants need to go or be washed. My second issue with this place is the music was very LOUD. They set us by the windows which is beautiful but we had to move to a booth. It was a little bit better but still felt like I was at a dance club while I was eating. Waiter was friendly and food came out fast. Okay onto the food... We got three sushi rolls with Salad and Scott got a platter with chicken and steak rice. The food was good. Nothing over the top everything tasted like it should and for the Lunch price it was reasonable. Although...I got a roll that I didn't like it . It was the Spicy tuna. Had a weird flavor. I really wanted seaweed salad but at $8 I think that's a little pricey compared to other sushi places that we have been to. So... For me unfortunately I probably won't come here again.

Food was quickly prepared and we barely waited for appetizers or entrees. The rolls were well made and portion size was relatively filling. As a person with a fish allergy that enjoys non-fish sushi, it was disappointing to have no chicken options and the only cooked sushi was steak. My companions loved their selections and would definitely return. Note: Place is kinda pricey so go prepared to spend what you need to be full.

I was thrilled that I made the choice to visit this restaurant for the first time. I was warmly greeted and seated right away. In fact, I entered right after opening time. My server was kind and unobtrusive. I perused the menu and she brought water while I was making my decisions. I opted for my standard, reliable choice of fried gyoza. There wasn't anything too extraordinary about this dish, but I was happy that the gyoza didn't taste stale. What really struck me was the delicious, nicely presented, tasty combination of flavors that I found in the Drama Queen roll. This roll contains spicy tuna, avocado, tempura flakes, yellowtail, jalepeno, black tobiko and spicy kimchee sauce. It was so delicious. And fresh! Way to go, Boku! I also ordered a Shrimp Tempura roll that contained avocado, butter lettuce, shrimp tempura, eel sauce and masago. I don't think I've had makimono with lettuce, but I was pleasantly surprised at the taste and texture. The interior seemed modern and had varying tones of gray. There's also a patio and you'll find a selection of beers and wine, including sake.

The server was very welcoming and we spoke as if I have know her for longer than the two minutes I had been there. She informed me that I had arrived just in time for happy hour to which I choose to start with an appetizer of fried veggies. This visit I stuck with the happy hour items for my sushi rolls having the Tango Mango (tempura shrimp) and chicken tempura rolls. As I had mentioned I had a rough day so decided to go with the regular size sake. The pictures don't do the rolls any justice as they are bigger than they appear in person. I ate with my eyes and struggled to finish everything and I forgot to mention how everything was fantastic! With the help of the sake and decor that transport you back to an earlier time in Japan, I felt like I had escaped the chaos of work life. The restaurant is located in a strip mall just off exit 92 of I-4 (western side of I-4) and the northern side of state road 436. I plan to return to try some of the chef's selections, hibachi, rice & poke bowls along with other choices such as yakisoba (noodles), Katsu, curry, udon, etc.

The fried rice and noodles we ordered as sides with the hibachi tasted odd but the meats were fine. Our appetizers came out after the meal (Hijiki and edamame) and we didn't think either was very good. However, the fried cheesecake dessert was incredible. Service was super slow and took 2 and a half hours when all was said and done. The staff was apologetic and very nice and the inside was cute but due to the lackluster food (not including the dessert) and slow service, we would not rush back.

Only like 3 diners were there when we arrived (it was mid afternoon), so lots of open seating. We were able to sit at the bar. Greeted right way. Will say they have a very extensive menu. Decent selection of sushi & other types of dishes. Our server was pleasant. We started with their daily deal which was Crispy Tuna and edamame as well. Came out pretty quickly after we ordered. The Crispy Tuna was served not as we expected. It was more rice cakes (pancake style shape if you will) not what we are accustomed to which generally is a Square Musubi Press. They were good, but would have preferred them the way we generally order it. Edamame was tasty, but hard to mess that up. Rolls: they are pretty small to be honest and squeezed so tightly (with not enough of outer rice) they sat up high and didn't take on the plump desirable shape. When a sushi roll (maki) is rolled and pressed incorrectly with a bamboo mat, the cylindrical shape gets squished and inevitably turns into a aesthetic effect that looks off, which in my opinion shows here. Plus, very thinly sliced rolls. 4 rolls we ordered: Naruto Roll, it was refreshing & liked the cucumber in place of the seaweed wrap. Beauty & Beast Roll, came together well with the black tobiko & masago. Waterfall Roll was good, but would have liked some more heat (heaver on the jalapeños) and finally the Black Pearl Roll which was decent with the black tobiko on top! Throughout of dining experience the sushi chefs were preparing other dishes on the menu to fill orders, but also pleasant & engaging as we watched them make our orders and those others too. Leo and Micah were friendly, not so much the only female employee. She gave off some negative vibes. Never said a word to us & acted like we were not even there! Believe her role may have been in the kitchen, but she was out on the floor (for most of our time there) talking to Leo primarily. Kitchen cleanliness is key and by looking thru the open space (to the backs of sushi chefs) she really needed to focus more of her attention there instead of projecting conversations out front to the busy staff. Meaning that sanitation and environmental hygiene is a mandatory practice that needs constant attention & customers may observe or question those things when not tending to the task. I'm addressing this in the most important and nicest way possible! Everything we ordered was fresh and tasty. Not the best sushi restaurant we've been to, but definitely sufficed for our craving. Ended our meal with their fried ice cream which was delicious. Note- Do not believe they have any happy hour specials. No Kizami Wasabi available here. They feature a few lower costs options for lunch. Additionally, they have hibachi, teriyaki and ramen also!

But here lately there has been a huge lacking in service, and quality of said service. Tonight there might have been 2, maybe 3 servers and one of those was new. There was 2.5 hours before the restaurant closes and BAM out of nowhere 2 of the 3 servers started slinging wet towels to wipe down tables and moving napkin holder and chairs like their life depended on it. The two servers even had "up to the elbow" gloves on like they were going into surgery. They started dropping the blind and shifting the little table drink signs all in one group on a table like it was a "you just walked in but hey, were closing". We couldn't get drink refills, they didn't take any used plates, but they stayed busy doing something, just not dealing with the customer tables in the restaurant. While the food was ok, there is a large question about cleanliness. After they started cleaning put our table and wanting to sweep under our table while we were still eating we decided the one plate wad enough. We went to the restrooms to wash up and that was a nightmare! Both of the men's and ladies room look liked they had been hit by a hurricane, a month ago. The stalls were.. dirty, not usable by.. the looks of.. yeah. The floors were stained, the sinks had rubber hoses attached to the faucet to force the water to exit directly into the drain giving you maybe 1"and half to put your hands between and wash. While that reduces water from splash and getting everywhere, you are also going to hit that sharp part of the hose or the bottom of the sink where everyone else has hit their hands trying to wash.. So, even through they are two different rooms, if they cannot clean the bathrooms right, then how clean is the kitchen that they are making all of this food in?
