I will say coming here, it was worth it for a fresh dinner. I had sushi and ginger salad. The staff said hi and seated us immediately. I got the dinner special 3 regular rolls for 13.99. The location is pretty cute like a nice home feel. Light decor, and you can even see the bar area where they prep the sushi. I ordered the chicken tempura, California roll, and Florida roll. Everything was fresh and tasty. I will definitely be back for lunch or dinner.

Krab Mango Special Roll - very sweet.

Rolls are loose and rice isn't cooked evenly. Pork dumplings came out cold. Water tastes gross, so order their warm bottled water instead. Flavors are all so odd.

Food 3 stars / service 4 stars We were heading to the AMC nearby, and my friend suggested Hana. I had not been there in a very long time since the last meal (hibachi) was less than stellar. Went with the Hana Bomb ($11), katsu roll ($7), and sexy lobster roll ($18) this time. The hana bomb was slightly different on the outside with but it was still tasty. The katsu had absolutely no flavor to it, whereas the sexy lobster was a very thick roll with a decent taste. There was only one server, but she was great with our soft drinks and bringing our meals out in a timely fashion.

The last of our Godzilla roll. So tasty, we forgot to take a picture at the beginning.

My kids and I tried Hana for the first time today for lunch. They have a good lunch menu ($8.99 for two rolls and a miso soup or ginger salad). You can add a third roll for an extra $3.00. All three of us ordered the sushi lunch. We also got a Godzilla roll to share, and I ordered some mackerel nigiri. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The server was very attentive. He also wore a mask. I'm not sure what business was like here pre-COVID, but there were probably three tables of people at any one time. I did see people picking up takeout too. I would definitely return. A good find!

Highly recommend this one for good sushi at affordable price. Very friendly server. He made sure we were happy and satisfied. The happy hour sushi rolls were delicious. M-F 4-6 pm 3 regular rolls for $14.95 was a nice birthday present for me (yes it was my birthday). The sashimi was fresh and properly cut. The spicy tuna was just the right mild heat. The mackerel was some of the best I've had. It wasn't mushy or overly vinegary. Try the spicy salmon because it was perfectly mild. The nigiri was just the right size for a bite. Don't expect this place to be all decked out with fancy decor, but do expect to get some great tasting sushi that was better than some stuff I've gotten from places that look like a million bucks, charge you a million bucks and get bait fish for dinner. Great job to these guys. Fear None, Love All and Eat Well.

Mexican roll and crunchy tuna...
Joe S.

Visiting from the southwest, staying at the Hilton, wanted fish, gave this place a try. I had the Mexican roll and the crunchy tuna roll. Every bite dipped in the wasabi/soy sauce mix. DELICIOUS! Great taste! Great texture! Great finish. And my bill! $16.59 before tip. Yummm! I leave it at four starts because it's not very fancy, it's kind of a hole in the wall. But otherwise excellent meal!

Spicy Yellowtail Roll, Special Crunch roll (salmon, tuna, Escolar, crab)

I've been here 6 times now. I always get served super fast. The sushi is always fresh. Ordered my usually order of sashimi (escolar and smoked salmon) I tried to new rolls tonight. The spicy yellow tail roll was good definitely with the cream cheese. I don't usually like tempura rolls; the special crunch roll was yummy just missing the asparagus listed which I feel like would have given it it's extra crunch. Nice quality.

Excellent service!!! Tasty rolls reasonably priced!

We came to this place conveniently located next to the Altamonte Mall. It was clean, friendly service, and great tasting rolls. They take their time with preparing food with quality and good presentation. I would recommend this sushi spots to new and experienced sushi eaters alike.

We got the sushi deal for two. You could probably feed three people with it. Everything was fresh and yummy. Good way to try different things.

Baked mussels
Ut N.

The salmon sashimi was excellent with nice size pieces and fresh as can be! The salmon skin requested extra crispy was perfect, almost better than any other Hana Sushi I've been to. The baked mussels came out hot and full of masago egg mixed in with Japanese mayo. I loved that they even cut up the mussels for me. Service was excellent, waitress and her Son Jackson came outside to pet my dog SantaPaws at the end of the meal. I sat outside of the restaurant because I had my dog with me, but the waitress was extremely nice and asked if my dog needed water bowl and gave us a white butcher paper to cover up the table since it was dusty from sitting outside.

Wow. The size and quality of these rolls were just spectacular. Everything tasted super fresh…read more My mom devoured her dragon roll and I was able to scrounge up a bite. The eel was cooked perfectly and with just the right amount of eel sauce. Similarly, the pac-man roll perfectly balanced the sweet and savory flavors and I loved the addition of the cream cheese to this roll. Lastly, the volcano roll had more perfectly cooked shrimp tempura (I normally don't eat the ends but it was fried the best way possible) and balanced flavors. I wound up eating my "leftovers" in the car. Go with a good appetite to enjoy everything!! For beverages, I had the Kizakura sake and absolutely loved it. Dry and tasted like water, just like I like

We stopped by and found it to be a nice little spot with good value and a welcoming vibe. The truffle fries arrived looking impressive with a crispy exterior, but fell short on flavor. They tasted more like premium fries than truffle fries, which was a letdown given what we were expecting. That said, they're still a solid appetizer if you're hungry. The real draw here is the happy hour. Three sushi rolls for around $18 is a pretty solid deal, and we appreciated that the happy hour menu keeps things simple with rolls featuring just one or two ingredients. Nothing fancy, but executed well. The sushi itself was good, fresh, and satisfying without being exceptional. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service was not noticeable (which sometimes is a very good thing), making it an easy place to grab dinner with friends. Would I make a special trip? Probably not. But if a friend wanted to meet up nearby or I was already in the area, I'd definitely return.

Food was quickly prepared and we barely waited for appetizers or entrees. The rolls were well made and portion size was relatively filling. I was thrilled that I made the choice to visit this restaurant for the first time. I was warmly greeted and seated right away. In fact, I entered right after opening time. My server was kind and unobtrusive. I perused the menu and she brought water while I was making my decisions. I opted for my standard, reliable choice of fried gyoza. There wasn't anything too extraordinary about this dish, but I was happy that the gyoza didn't taste stale. What really struck me was the delicious, nicely presented, tasty combination of flavors that I found in the Drama Queen roll. This roll contains spicy tuna, avocado, tempura flakes, yellowtail, jalepeno, black tobiko and spicy kimchee sauce. It was so delicious. And fresh! Way to go, Boku! I also ordered a Shrimp Tempura roll that contained avocado, butter lettuce, shrimp tempura, eel sauce and masago. I don't think I've had makimono with lettuce, but I was pleasantly surprised at the taste and texture. The interior seemed modern and had varying tones of gray. There's also a patio and you'll find a selection of beers and wine, including sake.

The server was very welcoming and we spoke as if I have know her for longer than the two minutes I had been there. She informed me that I had arrived just in time for happy hour to which I choose to start with an appetizer of fried veggies. This visit I stuck with the happy hour items for my sushi rolls having the Tango Mango (tempura shrimp) and chicken tempura rolls. As I had mentioned I had a rough day so decided to go with the regular size sake. The pictures don't do the rolls any justice as they are bigger than they appear in person. I ate with my eyes and struggled to finish everything and I forgot to mention how everything was fantastic! With the help of the sake and decor that transport you back to an earlier time in Japan, I felt like I had escaped the chaos of work life. The restaurant is located in a strip mall just off exit 92 of I-4 (western side of I-4) and the northern side of state road 436. I plan to return to try some of the chef's selections, hibachi, rice & poke bowls along with other choices such as yakisoba (noodles), Katsu, curry, udon, etc.

The fried rice and noodles we ordered as sides with the hibachi tasted odd but the meats were fine. Our appetizers came out after the meal (Hijiki and edamame) and we didn't think either was very good. However, the fried cheesecake dessert was incredible. Only like 3 diners were there when we arrived (it was mid afternoon), so lots of open seating. We were able to sit at the bar. Greeted right way. Will say they have a very extensive menu. Decent selection of sushi & other types of dishes. Our server was pleasant. We started with their daily deal which was Crispy Tuna and edamame as well. Came out pretty quickly after we ordered. The Crispy Tuna was served not as we expected. It was more rice cakes (pancake style shape if you will) not what we are accustomed to which generally is a Square Musubi Press. They were good, but would have preferred them the way we generally order it. Edamame was tasty, but hard to mess that up. Rolls: they are pretty small to be honest and squeezed so tightly (with not enough of outer rice) they sat up high and didn't take on the plump desirable shape. When a sushi roll (maki) is rolled and pressed incorrectly with a bamboo mat, the cylindrical shape gets squished and inevitably turns into a aesthetic effect that looks off, which in my opinion shows here. Plus, very thinly sliced rolls. 4 rolls we ordered: Naruto Roll, it was refreshing & liked the cucumber in place of the seaweed wrap. Beauty & Beast Roll, came together well with the black tobiko & masago. Waterfall Roll was good, but would have liked some more heat (heaver on the jalapeños) and finally the Black Pearl Roll which was decent with the black tobiko on top! Throughout of dining experience the sushi chefs were preparing other dishes on the menu to fill orders, but also pleasant & engaging as we watched them make our orders and those others too. Leo and Micah were friendly, not so much the only female employee. She gave off some negative vibes. Never said a word to us & acted like we were not even there! Believe her role may have been in the kitchen, but she was out on the floor (for most of our time there) talking to Leo primarily. Kitchen cleanliness is key and by looking thru the open space (to the backs of sushi chefs) she really needed to focus more of her attention there instead of projecting conversations out front to the busy staff. Meaning that sanitation and environmental hygiene is a mandatory practice that needs constant attention & customers may observe or question those things when not tending to the task. I'm addressing this in the most important and nicest way possible! Everything we ordered was fresh and tasty. Not the best sushi restaurant we've been to, but definitely sufficed for our craving. Ended our meal with their fried ice cream which was delicious. Note- Do not believe they have any happy hour specials. No Kizami Wasabi available here. They feature a few lower costs options for lunch. Additionally, they have hibachi, teriyaki and ramen also!

But here lately there has been a huge lacking in service, and quality of said service. Tonight there might have been 2, maybe 3 servers and one of those was new. There was 2.5 hours before the restaurant closes and BAM out of nowhere 2 of the 3 servers started slinging wet towels to wipe down tables and moving napkin holder and chairs like their life depended on it. The two servers even had "up to the elbow" gloves on like they were going into surgery. They started dropping the blind and shifting the little table drink signs all in one group on a table like it was a "you just walked in but hey, were closing". We couldn't get drink refills, they didn't take any used plates, but they stayed busy doing something, just not dealing with the customer tables in the restaurant. While the food was ok, there is a large question about cleanliness. After they started cleaning put our table and wanting to sweep under our table while we were still eating we decided the one plate wad enough. We went to the restrooms to wash up and that was a nightmare! Both of the men's and ladies room look liked they had been hit by a hurricane, a month ago. The stalls were.. dirty, not usable by.. the looks of.. yeah. The floors were stained, the sinks had rubber hoses attached to the faucet to force the water to exit directly into the drain giving you maybe 1"and half to put your hands between and wash. While that reduces water from splash and getting everywhere, you are also going to hit that sharp part of the hose or the bottom of the sink where everyone else has hit their hands trying to wash.. So, even through they are two different rooms, if they cannot clean the bathrooms right, then how clean is the kitchen that they are making all of this food in?
