I was visiting Miniso and got hungry so I stopped in for lunch. I got a milk tea with boba and the black garlic ramen. The ramen was ok. It didn't leave any lingering after taste. The milk tea was enjoyable. I would go back for that.

Such a great addition to the community. I stopped by randomly on a cold night where I wanted some warm ramen. The place is beautiful, inviting, and warm. The service was great, quick, and fresh! I cannot wait to come back to try their delicious looking drinks. 10/10

Ramen lovers in the Altamonte Springs area look no further than Token Ramen. It is in the same plaza as Winn Dixie, Five Below, and TJ Maxx. They have been here a year and has been a quiet secret that needs to be talked about. The ramen bowls are much bigger than the picture displays and great tasting. There is a wide variety of bowls and even some with low soy sauce for those watching their sodium intake. The ramen bowl I selected was a chicken ramen bowl without the soy and it did not disappoint. I had to take more than half home for dinner. The appetizers can equally be a meal on its own as there is a lot of food served. My choice was the ninja chicken nuggets with chili pepper sauce and a side of shredded carrots. My picture is a little light on the amount as I had started on the nuggets before taking a picture. The drink selection ranged from teas, milk teas, etc. with boba, etc. Everything is reasonably priced in a fun atmosphere with a bar area and three TVs, seating for individual, and tables and booths for family and friend groups. The staff greet you with a smile upon entering and promptly get you seated and taking your drink orders. As work is close by I think I have found a new lunch spot to tell my coworkers about that work over in the Maitland office complex area. This is also just a cool place to grab dinner after grabbing some things from the nearby stores (Walmart, Target, Costco, Winn Dixie, Five Below, TJ Maxx, PetSmart, Cybertron Video Games, Miniso, Hibbett Sports, etc.). They are located near everything and convenient for getting a quick bite to eat.

I was a little sick and decided to give this place a try since it was nearby. We ordered online and really appreciated the notifications on the progress of our order. As soon as I walked in, the cashier was attentive and friendly. I was also surprised to see how packed this place was on a hot summer day. Overall, my soup was hot and fresh with great flavor too. There were plenty of noodles but I wish we had a little more protein. Nonetheless, I'm grateful I could take advantage of the lunch special. This ramen saved my life on a rough day and I will certainly be back soon!

I came in for lunch and got some crab Rangoon, the general pso chicken and the brown sugar bubble milk tea. I think the food was an easy lunch spot with affordable prices and lunch specials. The boba wasn't the best though and was chewy so I'd assume it was old. I can't attest to the service because I ordered my food to go. But it would be a place I'd visit again for an affordable lunch spot.

Went for lunch with a bunch and tried some of everything. Service started out really great, our server was funny and attentive, but later got slower and slower. He forgot one of our meals and the rest of us were about done before he brought it out. It's bright inside, with interesting cooking shows on tv while you sit. The wings had good flavor. The krab wontons were so so. The pineapple and orange chicken were interchangeable. Not much fruit flavor aside from the fruit pieces in the food.

Great ramen restaurant. Our entire family enjoyed it. You can ask for the ramen to be less spicy such as the spicy curry ramen. Kids fried rice was big enough to split between two young kids. Service was great though the food did take a bit to come out. New and cleaner restaurant. We will plan to return again.

Tonkatsu Ramen

This restaurant came up on my Yelp feed and we had to try it. We dined in, but it seems like they do quite a bit of takeout orders as well. They have tvs playing videos of different street foods being made and Asian pastry videos. It was fun to watch during our meal. They serve a variety of teas and boba but no alcohol. There is a great variety on the menu from appetizers, rice bowls, hibachi, and ramen. We tried the spring rolls, but didn't really like them. They were a little cold in the center of the roll but not why we wanted to try the restaurant. We were impressed with the variety of ramen available. I ordered Tonkatsu and my husband had the Black Garlic. The pork was delicious and torched well. Our broths had tons of flavor and we liked the wavy noodles. It's a very clean restaurant with fair prices, lots of parking, and great service. We will be back to try more!

Visited here with a friend for the first time and was definitely told to order the spicy Ramen. So I did, and it wasn't bad at all. The flavor was definitely there, along with everything else. I ended up taking some of it home because I just couldn't stomach all of it in a half hour outing, but I will say that the flavor was just a knockout, I'm not typically so much, but I would give this place a chance if I'm ever in the neighborhood and hungry again

I have been waiting to see what was going to open in the place of the Chinese restaurant that has been here for so long. I was pleasantly surprised that it was a ramen spot:) So excited to have something so close to where I live. I decided to get the black garlic ramen and added an extra seasoned egg and come chilli oil for some extra spice. This was a soft opening for them and they were busy getting fresh made fruit teas and orders out for some in and takeout. There is a kiosk for takeout orders at the front which look pretty convenient to use. I decided to dine in. For their soft opening, if you order an entree you get a free fruit tea- I went with the pineapple green tea which was recommended by my waitress as one of her favorites. It was deliciously sweet just what I was expecting. It had pieces of pineapple at the bottom which added some nice texture to my drink. You can change the level of sweetness to your drink which is nice. So the Black Garlic Ramen. It was a porkbroth with black garlic oil and I added their house chili oil. Super flavorful piping hot and delicious... that black garlic oil and chili oil set it off. The tender pork chashu was super tasty and the pork broth was silky smooth. This is their soft opening and they did an amazing job with the service. The seasoned egg was delicious and I probably cook have eaten a whole dozen of them:) There is about 6 booths and 3 tables each with seating for four people. All of the staff were really kind and helpful with the menu. I can't wait to come back and try more of their dishes!

We came in for lunch and had a great experience. The shop is cute and service is attentive. I got a Thai milk tea and it was rich and perfectly prepared. I loved the cup with the snap close sipping lid. It's great for when you're on the go. We shared the steamed gyoza and they were perfectly prepared. The filling was tender and flavorful. The dipping sauce they came with was very nice. For my entree, I got the miso tonkatsu ramen. The broth was so rich and delicious. The pork was tender. The noodles were perfect. I adored the jammy egg that came in it. All of the toppings were amazing and proportional to the servicing size. The ramen is everything you'd want out of the experience. I'll definitely be back!

The food was tasty!! Our server seemed new and wasn't very knowledgeable on the food when we asked questions but she was nice. The (possibly) owner was very nice. We'll be back!

Ramen Takagi - Vegetable mazesoba

My husband and I stopped into Ramen Takagi on a Saturday around 12:20pm, and we must have timed it…read moreperfectly--there was only one table left when we arrived. The restaurant is on the smaller side (about 6-7 tables) with additional bar seating, which adds to the cozy, authentic feel. The Vibe: Small, intimate, and focused--this is the kind of place where you know the food is the star. One small note: I didn't see any beer options--just soft drinks and teas. Not a dealbreaker, but I do usually enjoy a beer with ramen, so it was a bit of a miss for me. What We Ordered: * Cucumber Salad * Chicken Karaage * Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen * Spicy Miso Ramen Standout Bites: The cucumber salad was incredibly fresh with the perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and salty. The chicken karaage was exactly what you want--crispy on the outside, moist and tender on the inside. Perfect crunch, perfect bite. Then came the ramen... Both the spicy tonkotsu and spicy miso broths were rich, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. The noodles had that ideal chewy texture, and the pork was thinly sliced, tender, and full of flavor. Rich broth, chewy noodles, melt-in-your-mouth pork. Overall: This is hands down the best ramen I've had since visiting Japan, which says a lot. We left already planning our next visit. Pro tip: Arrive early for lunch--seating is limited and fills up quickly.

My favorites are the shoyu ramen, the kids ramen (honestly the perfect portion), and the tuna mayo onigiri. My go-to order is usually the kids ramen with a tuna mayo onigiri, and it's always so satisfying. The pork chashu is super soft and tender, the broth has so much flavor, and the noodles are always cooked just right. And definitely don't skip the egg--it's so good. The ambiance is really peaceful, and the space itself is cute and cozy. The staff is always very friendly and eager to please, which makes the whole experience even better. It is one of my go to spots, I seriously cannot recommend enough.

Everyone received their starters, the blonde waitress asked if I wanted one as well. When I said yes, she responded with "bro, it's not going to be free," which made the interaction very awkward for everyone at the table since I never even asked for the starter in the first place and was just very unprofessional. Later, one of my friends received shrimp tempura that was translucent, raw, and slimy in the middle. When we politely mentioned it, both the waitress and host repeatedly questioned whether we were sure it was raw. At one point the waitress even asked something along the lines of "so do you want this for free or something?" which felt accusatory and uncomfortable. We're familiar with tempura/sushi dishes in general and understand that something can be fried on the outside but still undercooked inside. The repeated doubt came across as dismissive and a bit condescending. She also said she would "pray" for one of my friends which was a very strange and off-putting comment in that situation. It just felt like she was doubting us and in general it made us feel bad for even bringing it up in the first place. The item did end up being comped, which we appreciated, but that didn't change the interaction we had or the comments that were made. We weren't there trying to get free items, so the assumptions and tone from our server made the whole situation feel uncomfortable and strange. Overall, we did enjoy the food, but the service made the dinner uncomfortable and left us feeling judged rather than welcomed. Since I've had good experiences here in the past, I hope this feedback is taken constructively so future guests have a better experience.

It was so good that I came back the very next day and brought my sister and my niece. This time, I ordered tacos and a birria quesadilla (the one that looks like a pizza). They also offer an actual birria pizza, but we went with the quesadilla -- and let me tell you, it was BIG as hell. Everything was seasoned perfectly, tasted amazing, and the presentation was on point. Now, let's talk about the location because you might think you're in the wrong place. When you pull up, it looks like an industrial area -- big parking lot, office buildings, and the place doesn't even look open. The windows are so dark and tinted you can't see inside, the parking lot might be empty, and you'll be questioning everything. Still pull on the door. When you open it, you'll see they're open. It's to-go only, no dine-in seating. The service is friendly, and they'll give recommendations if you ask. You order through a kiosk, and honestly, everything on the menu is good. I've had the tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and even the ramen -- all solid. But let me be VERY clear... My favorite thing on the menu, hands down, is the fried bread pudding. That shit is on another level. Straight up dangerous. I swear I went into a sugar coma after eating it because I passed out immediately after. It's that good. I didn't even wait until after my entrée the second time -- I ordered the dessert first because I already knew what it was giving. No pictures. No regrets. I'll absolutely be back.
