This restaurant is located in the same shopping plaza as the Sam Ash and Walmart on Lee Road. It is next to the Sam Ash and is a small location overall, but the food was good and the service was with a smile. I got takeout from here and it is geared more for takeout. I went with their lo mein. I feel that lo mean is a great test of a Chinese restaurant and the lo mein was pretty good as I devoured it enjoying the ambiance within my car, lol. When a consumer place a mobile order online with the restaurant and ask them to specifically not put egg in the fried rice and when you get home, the fried rice is full of eggs. How would you feel? Needless to say, I was quite upset and no, I didn't call the restaurant because I know that they'll give me some kind of lame story or lame excuse for an apology so I will not return to this location. We got: spring rolls, general tso chicken-came with white rice (lg), beef & broccoli dinner platter (came with pork fried rice& egg roll), wonton soup, veggie lo mein. I wish the general tso's had more of a kick and somehow the wonton soup went from bland to the perfect amount of saltiness as we ate. This is a great quick no frills or fancy Bells or whistles stop to get some good Chinese food. I stumbled her for lunch on a random outing and I was feeling lucky so I wanted to try some place new and I'm glad I did. Service was good. You get an entree pork fried rice and a soda or you ca upgrade for a small few to get an egg roll instead of the soda. I ordered the general tso lunch and the beef lo mein lunch. The egg rolls were fresh cooked to order and crispy. My lunch portion sizes were great for the price and I had enough for lunch the next day as left overs. The general tso was crispy and had a good coating of the sauce which was a little spicy but not too spicy. The beef lo mein was good and seasoned and the noodles weren't over cooked as some places do. Fried rice was good portion and tasty with the soy sauce added. HB Asian Express has become mine and my fiance's go to Chinese food over the last year. Their service is quick, portions are large and food is delicious. The owner is very kind and has come to remember our face whenever we come in, which is always a great feeling. Their portions allow us to have dinner and then lunch the next day.
