The beef and cabbage stew was probably the highlight for me. It was hearty and comforting, and it felt like the most satisfying dish out of the three. Service here is a little iffy. When we were ordering, my husband asked if the bulgogi came with rice and the waitress started at him coldly and said "sure..." in a pretty dry tone. It wasn't outright rude, but it wasn't warm either. On another occasion that we came, it was a busy night and we sat at our tables for 20 minutes before anyone even gave us water or menus. However, the waitress was very noticeably attentive and friendly to a family sitting next to us. The restaurant is near UCF, so maybe the staff has had bad experiences with younger people, but it's no reason to be differential in treating your customers. The inside of the restaurant is pretty simple and casual. It does not have great circulation, so expect your clothes to smell like food when you leave. Overall, the restaurant is decent, but not great. That said, there aren't a lot of other Korean restaurant options around the area, so if you're craving Korean food, this may be your best bet.

Which a food hall with various food options and a bar. It is an cool spot. You place your order on a self-serve kiosk ( just like in Japan) and then you will get a text when your food is ready. I ordered the miso ramen and the broth was delicious. The pork will melt in your mouth and the egg was cooked to perfection. We also ordered the Karage chicken bites. They were delicious. The cocktails I selected were not all that strong, but they were visually appealing. I absolutely loved the Buffalo Rock Shrimp. It had the perfect amount of spicy kick. We ordered an additional one since it was such a hit. The edamame is addictive. The only dish that fell flat for me was the Coco Roll. Nothing special really. Our server Lucy was hardworking and provided stellar service. She guided me to try their rośe sake, Amabuki, which was beautifully light, crisp and smooth. Lucy had us laughing and feeling good. We would love to be served by her again. This location is artistically styled inside with eye-catching Asian touches. It gets busy and ends up being somewhat noisy, but we could still hear each other at our corner table. The intimate lighting creates a sophisticated aura. The seating was comfortable, and despite how popular the restaurant is, everything felt well organized. It was a great place to relax and enjoy a meal with family and friends. The ramen absolutely lived up to the hype. The broth was rich, creamy, and packed with deep umami flavor without feeling overly salty or heavy. You could tell it had been simmered for hours because every spoonful had so much depth. The noodles were cooked perfectly--firm and chewy with just the right amount of bite, so they held up well in the broth from the first bite to the last. The biggest surprise of the meal was actually the chicken wings. I ordered them because they seemed to be a popular appetizer, but they ended up stealing the show. Sip & Savor 2026 Review!…read more Wow, it's been just over a year since I've been back to the OG Domu in Audubon Park at East End Market. We decided to go try for a table as the Sip & Savor promo was going and on this weekend afternoon it had rained hard so we thought the crowds would be dissipated. Spoiler alert, they were not and we walked into a 2-hour wait! Folks, Domu does not take reservations so you almost always have a wait! Keep in mind that the wait time they quote is often higher than what you'll actually have to wait. In any event, we will were lucky to get a seat at the busy bar then the other seat when the guest eating alone got up and left (Nice)! The menu is largely the same. It hasn't changed much over the years. Yes, they have seasonal specials from time to time but they are relying on their classic goodness that has sustained them for 10 years. Keep in mind, much has changed in the past 10 years, including in the ramen scene. Nevertheless, the drink menu has their classic cocktails and some new ones as well. At the bar we had a couple beverages and we also tried the bok choy appetizer. The bok choy is charred and comes with a lemon slice and is a simple, yet delicious, first dish to eat. At about the 1 hour and 10 minutes, our seat always ready. Keep in mind, I went with the kitchen seats which probably added some extra time but well under the 2-hour initial quote. Sitting at the table with views into the kitchen is always on point in my opinion. You tend to get better service overall and you get to see different aspects of the kitchen and how it operates. The Sip and saver promo was the same as last year. It includes three of their classic wings, the Richie Rich ramen, and the soft serve of the moment which today was Cookie monster. Both the wings and the Richie Rich ramen were on point and still contain that classic goodness that put them on the map! Overall, Domu hasn't changed and for some, that's a good thing. Even the menu prices are fair IMO for bowl of ramen, protein, a few vegetables. The drinks are around $12 which is fairly priced. I continue to see that the sale of alcohol has gone way down as compared to previous generations and I did see a number of tables with just water. As a supporter, I would suggest Domo invest in mocktails and or promoting them more. I haven't visited the other Domu locations, but, I would wager that this location is due for a refresh. Side note, The Cookie monster was okay (Kelly's ice cream is a better version). If you're going to stay with classic goodness then bring back the honey vanilla that used to be around!

To start, they have a great Happy Hour 3-6 pm with a limited menu, but Sapporo drafts and local brews are under $5 each. That is a win right there. They also have beer and Sake flights. My Go to here is the Tonkotsu Black Ramen, but I have had the others and never a bad experience. There is something really welcoming about Jinya. I suspect they treat there staff well and hire the right people. Everytime I am here I feel like they are over staffed, but there are plenty of tables inside and out in this intimate venue. My two favorite happy hour dishes are the Salmon Pke Tacos and the Crispy Chicken. I used to live on Lake Eola Park and I so miss coming here. Glad I stumbled in here today.
