Why did it took me so long to try the ramen from Yugiri Ramen Project? This is hands down one of the best ramen in Central Florida. This is located inside Henry's Depot in Sanford. Which a food hall with various food options and a bar. It is an cool spot. You place your order on a self-serve kiosk ( just like in Japan) and then you will get a text when your food is ready. I ordered the miso ramen and the broth was delicious. The pork will melt in your mouth and the egg was cooked to perfection. We also ordered the Karage chicken bites. They were delicious. Sometimes during peak hours or weekends can be hard to find indoor seating so keep that in mind. You can also find tables outside. I'm 100% coming back here soon! read more

Visiting the area and decided to pop into the food hall. Lots of yummy looking spots but the ramen looked sooo good here. I opted for the spicy garlic ramen and my son had the OG. Both were delicious but mine stole the show. The broth is flavorful without being too salty, the noodles are seasoned and not an after thought. I love ramen! There's not a lot of Ramen shops nearby so I am really happy this place opened in Sanford. I like that you can order the food at the kiosk in front of the stall and they text you when it's ready. The pork gyoza was okay and so was the spicy karaage.. I would not order these again. I'm really disappointed to be writing this because I've had good experiences here before, but my last two visits have been consistently poor. The food also tasted old not fresh. On my most recent visit I ordered the Addictive Cabbage, which is supposed to come with Yugiri spice-seasoned cabbage, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and nori komi furikake. This time it was extremely dry and bland unfortunately, the Addictive Cabbage did not live up to its name-it lacked flavor and was quite dry. The past two times it fell short of expectations, especially compared to how enjoyable it has been in the past. The edamame was another letdown. It came out ice cold and was overly seasoned to the point where it was hard to enjoy. My first time trying it. For my main, I ordered spicy ramen. The noodles were clumped together and tasted undercooked. There was very little broth, and what remained had mostly been absorbed by the noodles. On top of that, both the noodles and broth were extremely salty-honestly one of the saltiest bowls of ramen I've ever had. Some ingredients also seemed to be missing. The last two times this one was disappointing. It's usually well balanced and delicious. Especially at what they charge for a bowl. The veggie dumplings were underwhelming and lacked flavor. I only tried them once so don't know if that is how they normally are. Service was just as frustrating. No one was at the counter for long stretches of time, and when I tried calling to see if I could bring the food back for a remake, there was no answer or callback. I even reached out online a few weeks ago before posting this review and still haven't received any response. I kept my receipt as well. This is now the second visit in a row where both the food and service have been disappointing. It really feels like things are declining, which is unfortunate because this place used to be reliable-especially for ramen and appetizers. They have quite a few options, but I decided on the Tonkotsu Ramen. Overall it was ok, the noodles seemed a bit undercooked and the broth wasn't as flavorful as I was hoping. The egg was delicious and really well cooked though! This ramen also normally comes with fish cake and seaweed. You order at a screen and then you get a text when your order is ready. The food came out pretty quickly and I liked that they utilized texting so you could browse around more if you wanted. The ground pork is tasty and the flavored oils and chili crunch really enhance the soup. The noodles are always perfectly chewy and lots of them. This shop is located in Henry's Depot in Downtown Sanford. They have a variety is small plates (edamame, pot stickers, rice balls, etc.) and different ramen that can be customized. The bowls are simple in toppings, but extremely flavorful. When the depot is busy, there can be a wait to receive your order, but it's absolutely worth it. So I spend a day exploring the Henry Food Depot up here in Sandford. I got one thing from each place, and after I got my coffee, I came right over to the Yugiri Ramen Project. Lots of good things on the menu, but I thought the thing that would be most unique to my particular food habits would be the Karaage (Japanese triple fried chicken, Original, Served with Lemon Togarashi Aioli). The Crunch on this chicken, man. It was so good, mega crispy on the outside, juicy and moist on the inside. And that togarashi aioli was a good little pop of acid to balance it out perfectly. Our good friends brought us to visit the Yugiri Ramen Project at its location tucked away in the beautiful Sanford downtown area. We are always looking for a good ramen and we have finally found the best. Not only is this the best, but the regulars informed us that this business often sells out each day due to the high demand for their noodles. They have an extensive menu including a large selection of meaty and vegetarian options with a multitude of broths and additions. The food was absolutely amazing. The noodles are perfectly crafted and cooked with care. The broths are perfectly seasoned and bring out the flavors of the added ingredients. The slices of beef that we had melt in your mouth as they were so very tender. The presentation was beautiful, however my pictures were taken after a few initial bites because we just couldn't wait! Whoops! One of my favorite aspects of this visit was the staff. This is a small location and there were two gentlemen working side by side. Even though they were slammed and cooking many multiple orders at once, they were laughing, kind, and excited to serve their art. They would transition from the fast paced sport of working multiple items being cooked to the slow and careful arrangement of their ingredients in a bowl of art. This place is located in historic Sanford within the Henry's Depot Food Hall. I kept hearing about this place and I definitely wanted to try it especially since it's a ramen place. This place is more or less a stall along with other food vendors. It gives a feeling of a cozy down-to-earth community, which is a good sense of feeling. They offer 3 different types of ramen, which was kind of disappointing but I am hoping because they are fairly new, they are just starting out what they know well and will add more selections. To be honest, I am a creature of habit i usually stick with Tonkotsu ramen wherever I go. The young lady at the counter was awesome and knowledgeable and suggested the Spicy Miso ramen, which was a great choice. The broth was very tasty and delightful but I think the noodles could of cooked a little bit longer but it was still good. The only real issue I had was with the pick up process. They use a system where they will page you when you order is ready however they leave it on the front counter where anyone can hover over your food. I think it would be a good idea that they have the order behind the counter until the person arrives to pick it to reduce potential contamination. It was a rainy day in Sanford so all we could crave was one thing: ramen! We've been to Henry's Depot a couple of times so Yugiri was a name we were familiar with. We ordered through the self-service check out and waited 15-20 minutes for the text to pick up our order. We both got the spicy miso ramen. It came with pork belly, egg, seaweed and scallions. The spice level is just right. The only thing I wish there was more of was broth. By the time we got our food, it seemed like the noodles soaked up half the broth. The portions are huge, so we took it home. We added another cup of hot water and it was the perfect broth consistency we prefer. $16 for ramen is pretty expensive - but if we were able to eat half now, and half later. Step right up to the tablet to easily place your order and then wait for your delicious food to be served. My bowl of OG Umamen Ramen was superb and I feel like soy-marinated bamboo should be a diet staple for me going forward. Does Seminole County run the game on ramen now, finally wrestled from Orange County's paws? Between Yugiri in Sanford and Ramen Takagi in Oviedo, I think so. The broth, wavy noods, and pork belly were excellent and I plan to return soon for more ramen and an order of their Karaage. However, the ramen was mediocre at best. Ordered the spicy ramen and flavor profile was great! However the noodles were undercooked and hard. And there was not a good broth to noodle ratio. From the size of the bowl, and the price, I expected to have more broth. The egg was perfectly cooked but the pork belly was under. Now I'm not sure what was suppose to be addictive about this cabbage but it was purely salt. I had 2 bites and could feel my blood pressure raise. Not sure if I just got a bad batch or they double seasoned but wow..... it was not even palatable. OH MY GOODNESS!!! This place? THIS PLACE???!!! Fire!!!!!! I got the OG Umamen Shoyu. Holy Macaroni and Chesse it was so good. The pork was tender, the noodles were just right, the egg was not overcooked, and the broth...DYNAMITE!!! This place was worth the 1.5 hour drive. I will be back. Truthfully, I came to try the place next door to it (Sweet & Salty), but the line was so long there that I decided to get this as sort of a pre-meal. MAN...this was the highlight of the trip. And then came today. There were so many options to choose from, and they all looked delicious! I got the Tonkatsu Ramen, which was limited and actually came out today, and I can't even express how delicious it was. It was the most flavorful ramen broth I've ever had. I was punched in the face with flavor and exceptional seasoning. It was so rich and borderline luxurious, and yet it didn't feel greasy at all, like many ramens do. Opening day for this anticipated Ramen stall at Henry's Depot. We tried the pork Gyoza, and they were excellent! They Spicy Miso Ramen had some decent heat and great flavor, and the Soy based broth I had was flavorful as well. We also tried the OG Umamem , and that had a tomato base, and ground pork instead of the chashu. It was very good as well. I am sure I will be back soon to get my ramen fix. read more
