Hibachi is the best way to get fresh food!!!
Joe S.

I love me a decent Chinese buffet for a great value. This dinner buffet for $15.99 fit the bill, but the soft drink was not included (add $2.99). Nothing was gourmet here but it was easy to get your money's worth, which is easier these days as Chinese takeout is cray cray pricey! They had a Hibachi where you can load your plate with raw proteins (shrimp, chicken, beef, pork) and choose from tons of veggies, rice/noods and even raw eggs. They had some different sauces and I asked for garlic with some chili and it came back pretty bland. I wish they'd let me make my own sauce as I'd make a killer flavorful dish. It was cooked well and I was able to add white sauce! The bonus is hibachi is always HOT! They had very few entree dishes available in comparison with desserts, salads, pizza, appetizers, and other items. The entree's I did try were not overly hot so I just tried them for flavor. They need to make sure the food is hot hot hot. It was not not not! If you like seafood, they had some good options with peel and eat shrimp, crawfish, some other big red crustacean (where greedy people were taking ALL of them like they're the only ones in the restaurant). They also had raw oysters and sushi. I was heading to a bar afterwards and skipped the messy items and potentially dangerous raw items. They had a variety of soups as well. I love adding wontons to my hot and sour soup, which actually had a kick to it! Fun. The Crab Rangoons were great too, as were the dumplings. The best thing I had was the chicken wing! It had that "Yellow" flavor (I don't know what it is, but I love it), but the wing was hot, juicy, crispy and delicious which is a rare combo in chicken wing world. I could have just eaten these and got my money's worth, but wanted to sample other stuff. I skipped the desserts and ice cream, but could see why people would load up on these things. The place was pretty big, the service was great with the waitstaff hustling to refill drinks and clear plates. I went on a Saturday during dinner to hopefully maximize the freshness of the food (a good idea at any buffet). It did not maximize hotness. 3 stars because you have to hunt for hot food. I'm not sure if I'd go back or not as there are other options in the area I'd try. I don't live close but if I did, I might make it a once-a-month indulgence.

My boyfriend found this spot driving around and what a great buffet spot. It's hard to find good buffets but this one has great food, good service, clean restaurant environment. Our server Amy was very kind and very attentive. We paid about $17 per person for dinner and the price is well worth the options they have, I will be back for more

I love Asian food and all you can eat so I had to try this place out! My friend wanted to try it so we came for Sunday all day dinner. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very attentive. They have a good variety of everything. I tried a little bit of everything to find out what I liked the most and save room for it. I found a lot of the food to be lukewarm and nothing fried was crispy. The food and sushi overall was not great. Can't list everything but I'll make a few notes. Mac and Cheese wasn't cheesy no flavor. Krab Rangoon were good but they were cold and not crispy. Honey Chicken was okay and so was the General Tsos, sauce was good but it felt like it was left to sit out for awhile. Lo Mein just tasted like spaghetti with light sauce on it. Fried Rice just tasted like regular rice. Sushi was okay, the fish wasn't bad. Shrimp were very mushy and I couldn't stomach the texture. The Miso Soup was okay not bad. Coconut Shrimp was good. The desserts were okay. There are other buffets that are way better than this place and around the same price. I don't see myself coming back here. If they were to keep their food hot it would make a big difference. I would not recommend this place though.

Was great! The food options were plenty and hibachi and sushi as well were good. Plenty of desert to choose from. The server was quick and efficient, she was on top of water refills and grabbing plates. The restaurant was clean and lit nice and ac is good too not hot or any weird smells.

We came to Ichigo Ichie Buffet not expecting much but did have a good meal but not as wide as selection as other Chinese Buffets we been to in the area. First when entering they entrance was no trills and did not have that welcome feeling. We were greeted by a hostess and given a booth in a fairly empty restaurant. It was a little after 1 pm so maybe the lunch crowd had already left. As I mentioned the food selection was less than other places we have recently visited but the food we had was good. Our waitress did remove our plates when we go up for another visit and my tea was refilled. One thing I didn't care for were the plates were styrofoam. Overall the food was good, the service was good and the price was also fair. We also had coupons which gave us $2 off which we applied to the tip. The men's bathroom had trash on the floor and a missing urinal but appeared clean. We probably will not be returning due to other places nearby we prefer but if you are in the area and like Chinese buffets give it a try.

Hibachi and sushi
Jeremiah R.

I've eaten here twice and I've enjoyed the food each time. Both visits were during the lunch hours. My favorites are the hibachi bar and the sushi but the bourbon chicken, general tso, pepper chicken and orange chicken were also good. Worth the price.

Variety is in this photo!

It's easily enough for two meals, or a very hungry one! It's rare to find a place that offers such generous servings while keeping the prices so reasonable.

From the outside it doesn't look like much, but the food is so good. The hibachi is my go-to every time. It's honestly one of the best deals around, and is way more affordable than the big hibachi chains in the area, and just as satisfying (if not better). Their onion soup is hands down my favorite Japanese soup of all time. And I have to talk about their white sauce because it is SO good. When you dine in, they give you a whole bottle at the table, which I love because you can go all in. And if you're doing takeout, they give you a really generous portion. One thing I really love is how customizable everything is. They'll make your hibachi exactly how you want it, all the way down to which vegetables you do or don't want, which is a nice touch you don't always get. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming, and service has consistently been great over the years. The space inside is on the smaller side, but they clearly do a ton of takeout business. It can get busy during peak times, but I've honestly never had to wait for a table. I'm not personally a sushi person, but everyone I've gone with raves about it, and you can watch the sushi chefs making everything fresh right at the counter. Yabi is a frequent stop for me and has been for years, and is definitely a local favorite.

I triedbout their maru special two rolls with a salad or soup. Of course I choose the salad. My hubby choose the miso soup. The two rolls Itried were the California roll and the chicken tempura roll. My hubby ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box. I got to try the chicken and freshly steamed rice. The chicken was juicy and the teriyaki was nicely mild and not to sweet. The bento box was the perfect amount of food for him. He actually left stuffed like a cabbage roll. Lol Both rolls were yummy with no need for eel sauce, spicy mayo, or soy sauce on the side. I will also include that the fresh ginger slices are to die for. I could be a ginger snob though. Lol Highly recommend the spring rolls as well. They have the perfect crispness and flavor to them. You will be provided with a sweet chili sauce to dip away with. Thank you again for a great experience.

Only like 3 diners were there when we arrived (it was mid afternoon), so lots of open seating. We were able to sit at the bar. Greeted right way. Will say they have a very extensive menu. Decent selection of sushi & other types of dishes. Our server was pleasant. We started with their daily deal which was Crispy Tuna and edamame as well. Came out pretty quickly after we ordered. The Crispy Tuna was served not as we expected. It was more rice cakes (pancake style shape if you will) not what we are accustomed to which generally is a Square Musubi Press. They were good, but would have preferred them the way we generally order it. Edamame was tasty, but hard to mess that up. Rolls: they are pretty small to be honest and squeezed so tightly (with not enough of outer rice) they sat up high and didn't take on the plump desirable shape. When a sushi roll (maki) is rolled and pressed incorrectly with a bamboo mat, the cylindrical shape gets squished and inevitably turns into a aesthetic effect that looks off, which in my opinion shows here. Plus, very thinly sliced rolls. 4 rolls we ordered: Naruto Roll, it was refreshing & liked the cucumber in place of the seaweed wrap. Beauty & Beast Roll, came together well with the black tobiko & masago. Waterfall Roll was good, but would have liked some more heat (heaver on the jalapeños) and finally the Black Pearl Roll which was decent with the black tobiko on top! Throughout of dining experience the sushi chefs were preparing other dishes on the menu to fill orders, but also pleasant & engaging as we watched them make our orders and those others too. Leo and Micah were friendly, not so much the only female employee. She gave off some negative vibes. Never said a word to us & acted like we were not even there! Believe her role may have been in the kitchen, but she was out on the floor (for most of our time there) talking to Leo primarily. Kitchen cleanliness is key and by looking thru the open space (to the backs of sushi chefs) she really needed to focus more of her attention there instead of projecting conversations out front to the busy staff. Meaning that sanitation and environmental hygiene is a mandatory practice that needs constant attention & customers may observe or question those things when not tending to the task. I'm addressing this in the most important and nicest way possible! Everything we ordered was fresh and tasty. Not the best sushi restaurant we've been to, but definitely sufficed for our craving. Ended our meal with their fried ice cream which was delicious. Note- Do not believe they have any happy hour specials. No Kizami Wasabi available here. They feature a few lower costs options for lunch. Additionally, they have hibachi, teriyaki and ramen also!
